Pfannkuchenhaus in Dierhagen

We tried a pancake with hot cherries and vanilla ice cream. The pancake was fluffy and not that heavy, the cherries were hot and plentiful, the vanilla ice cream and cream went very well with it. The restaurant is cozy and the old utensils (iron, pots, jugs, ladles...) make you feel like you're at grandma's home. Highly recommended!

We had a reservation for today. The restaurant wasn't very busy. The service was quick and friendly. The selection was good. Something for all tastes. Our savory filled pancake was delicious. A good idea and worth recommending.

A very, very nice little restaurant that is always busy. I was there with my wife for a week and we ordered something every day. Since we had rented an apartment next door and couldn't leave our dog alone, it was of course extremely useful that we could also order the dishes to take away. There is a pancake for everyone, whether sweet or spicy to a spicier version (my favorite). The schnitzels were also of good quality. All in all, we weren't disappointed with any of the dishes and were even a little overfilled with some of the pancakes. In terms of price, the delicacies are also exactly in the budget for smaller budgets.

Small, cozy restaurant with sweet and savory pancake varieties. The portions are tasty and filling. Nice and friendly wait staff. Several types of beer on tap. The slanted shot glasses are funny. After drinking 3 schnapps, the glasses should be straight. Wink! The only drawback: you only have an hour to eat because then the next guests arrive. The drinks come quickly, but the food only comes after about 30 minutes. There are only 30 minutes left to consume plus the payment process.

Great, especially with children. Pancakes creatively filled, vegetarian or with meat. I hadn't seen anything for vegans. The schnitzels are also really tasty. We are repeat offenders. However, the shop is small, reservations are recommended.

Well, unfortunately it failed completely. If the children don't like the pancakes, you're definitely doing something wrong, but your dad probably knows more about how to prepare them than this snack. If you like food from the microwave and dispatch every 60 minutes, this is the right place for you. When I go out to eat on vacation, I want to do so in a comfortable setting. However, that is not the case here. Reservations are only accepted on the hour and with a 60-minute time limit because then it's the next guests' turn. This requirement is of course carried over to the entire visit. The hectic hustle and bustle of ordering and serving is regularly accompanied by the “ping” of the microwave. And somehow when you're eating, you have the time limit in your head and you can't relax. Unfortunately, the taste wasn't convincing either. Fresh egg tarts taste different than warmed ones and if the spinach still has a fishy note in the taste it is no longer pleasant. Before that, I couldn't find any free parking spaces that should be part of the management. So you are forced to buy an expensive parking ticket. Ultimately, that was our only and last visit there. But you can probably make a good living from tourism and don't rely on customer satisfaction.

Great atmosphere, old household appliances as exhibits, I think it's wonderful! A rustic, warm atmosphere, the pancakes are huge, there is something for every taste, whether sweet or savory. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the amount you have on your plate. We'll be back!

You should definitely reserve in advance, it gets very busy. The pancakes were really tasty and completely reasonable in price. The interior is relatively narrow and therefore (because there is so much going on) the noise level is relatively high. Unfortunately, there is a lot of “time pressure” because you are warned on the phone that a reservation is only valid for one hour. Although that is completely sufficient (the food came very quickly after ordering), you still feel somehow (unnecessarily?) put under pressure. We ended up paying after 45', but I kept checking the clock to see how much time we had left.

Food is good. Friendly staff. In the evening we recommend making a reservation - the two of us were lucky to get a seat at the counter.

The food is great and the waiters are very nice. There are jokes on the doorstep, as well as on the menu. That's why 5 stars, we will definitely eat here again

Always beautiful! As always, it tastes delicious, everyone can find something on the menu and the kids don't leave unsatisfied either. However, the service gave a slightly rushed impression. This means that you actually look at the clock knowing that tables are being reserved every hour. A bit of coziness is lost as a result. But otherwise a very nice visit. We have reserved again.

Die Bedienung war höflich und das bestellte Essen war nach kurzer Wartezeit am Tisch. Die Portion war überraschend gross und Qualität und Geschmack auf sehr gutem Niveau.Preis Leistung Verhältnis ist beim Essen hervorragend. Ansonsten bietet das Restaurant eine für die Lage urige Atmosphäre. Kann es wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Being in transit, seeing the advertising sign on the side of the road, making a targeted turn and then ending up in the pancake house was one of our best ideas! The house looks very pleasant from the outside and inside, which is confirmed right away at the entrance and inside by the service staff. Our diverse range of food and drinks surprises in a special way with savory and sweet pancakes. Everything was very tasty, tastefully prepared and friendly served! We liked the rustic design of the restaurant with the inventiveness of the sayings and the historical reviews. On the return journey we had a very tasty meal for the second time. Everything with pancakes, sweet, sour, hearty, savory. I had the special offer, adapted to the season with potatoes, pumpkin and mushrooms... super tasty and so much that I could hardly manage. Very tasty and definitely recommended. Since I sat outside, I can't say much about the ambience in the house... but everything seemed harmonious.

My husband loves this restaurant. He is really excited about the sweet pancakes. We were here 3 years ago. Everything stayed the same. Quality, taste and also the size of the portions. Great idea to open a restaurant with pancakes. And I think it's going very well. Always well attended. Quality simply prevails. We'll come a few more times.

Without a reservation you may have to wait for some time as it is always very busy. Unfortunately the service was extremely unfriendly and annoyed, we sat inside and every time the service from outside came to the counter, she continuously gossiped about the guests... not particularly nice...

We are a bit conflicted about this restaurant. We ate there twice in three days. The first time everything was great. But today we were a bit disappointed with the staff. First of all, we couldn't get a seat in the restaurant and we had to sit outside. A few minutes later, another couple came who hadn't made a reservation and were immediately given a place in the restaurant... After I politely thanked the waiter, there was suddenly room for us in the restaurant. Okay, so be it. Of course the waiters talked about it and all you heard was “stupid”... The food was great again, there is absolutely nothing to criticize. But the highlight was paying. Most likely my wife didn't tip enough. The gentleman with glasses slammed the EC device on the table, collected the money and left in a huff. Without a goodbye, it's nice that you visited us, etc. The hospitality leaves a lot to be desired when the mood of the staff depends on the tip. Maybe the restaurants on the Baltic Sea don't need it or the staff is overwhelmed, you don't know.

We really liked it and you should book a table in advance. The cuisine ranges from sweet to savory. So we enjoyed it and can recommend a visit. Staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Top! We drove 45 minutes for it and we don't regret it. Good food and the portions are big enough. It was busy, as soon as a table became available it was taken by new guests. So reservations are recommended!

On our second vacation in Dierhagen we finally made it to the pancake house. And it was very tasty. We had savory and sweet and both are highly recommended. Of course not together, because one portion really fills you up!!!! We'll be back on our next vacation!

We were here for the first time today. Delicious variants with egg tarts, they also tasted good, but the service (black hair pulled straight back) is rudeness personified.

Service, well, you feel like you're being handled, but it's a tourist town and of course all customers come at peak times. Interior uncomfortable due to mix of noises, counters, poor sound insulation, plus the fact that 80% of the tables are walked past to the toilet. From guests inside and outside. We were there today as a family. Waited 3 minutes because there was no table available for so many. But of course, as great as the pancake house is. The food is delicious and came very quickly.

The food is plentiful and very tasty, the price is great, you don't have to wait long for the food, the staff is very nice... unfortunately there are only 4 stars because you only have an hour... (my companion needs longer due to illness, that's why unfortunately it is impossible to achieve this)

After a long bike ride and with a big appetite, we stopped at the Pfannkuchenhaus Dierhagen. It was pretty full but we were able to get a small table for two. The dishes on the menu all sounded very tempting and had original names. After we were spoiled for choice and finally decided, we were not disappointed shortly afterwards. We were served two amazingly large pancakes made with a lot of love. They really tasted excellent and we had to manage our portions. The price was also ok. We were completely satisfied and will definitely come back on our next vacation!

Was super delicious. Something for every taste. I tested the “Frenchman”. I never thought it would taste so good (considering the topping) and I'd love it again. And particularly important for us: dogs welcome. I didn't look around inside, outside there was a "normal", nice beer garden within easy reach of the beach.

The food is really very good, the service is friendly, the portions are very large - but you have to know that the fun is limited in time, as you only have an hour from arrival to departure to read the menu, order drinks and food, and eat , and to pay. Then the successors may be at the door or in the restaurant a few minutes “before their time” and jostle a little. It is served quite quickly. Eating comfortably and deliciously, entertaining and enjoying everything is possible, but you have to stick to the time frame. The restaurant is always full, so you should make a reservation.

Were there today and had reserved. When asked if there was anything free outside because it was still over 20 degrees, the answer was a blunt no... Inside it felt like 40 degrees, my wife is more of a frostbite and immediately said that it was unbearable! When we asked if we could open the window we were told "but only briefly"... When we asked if we had already chosen something to drink, we replied that we hadn't looked yet and they just said "all clear" and the service went away again , we couldn't even pronounce it correctly... So customer service is something else... Then they left again... Oh well, while we were sitting inside, two empty tables outside were immediately occupied again by spontaneous guests...

Both visits completely convinced us. Our personal recommendation: the Mexican (very spicy, slightly spicy) and the Norwegian (lots of smoked salmon with egg and a delicious mustard vinaigrette) The staff was admirably cheerful, relaxed and yet quick.

Every time we are in the area a visit here is a must. And every time it is simply delicious. But you should make a reservation as it is always busy in season.

It's best to reserve in advance. Very busy. Staff friendly. Extra offer for children. Unfortunately, no children's cutlery comes automatically with the order. We didn't ask if you wanted something. Food came very quickly, delicious and hot. Good selection even if you don't like pancakes.

My husband and I were just in the pancake house and this time we can both only say "thank you" to the extremely friendly service and to the kitchen, which conjures up incredibly delicious food. That's exactly why we come back every year on our vacation. Simply great!!! Update August 2024: Our Baltic Sea vacation is only perfect if we eat out at the pancake house at least twice. And we really feel right at home every time, the staff is absolutely friendly and quick (and so is the boss, who is also a great role model for his employees) and the food is always incredibly delicious! Many thanks once again to the entire team at the Pfannkuchenhaus! We'll definitely be back on our next summer vacation! ☺️

Unfortunately, coming from Berlin, we arrived 30 minutes early and had to wait outside even though there were some empty tables in the garden. Could they have offered us that long??? Unfortunately, there was no response to my telephone request as to whether the table could be prepared because it was a 60th birthday. A pity....
