I was there last week...for the first time...the food was really, really good!!! The garlic soup was absolutely amazing!!! If they delivered I would be the best customer! Very happy to be there again!

We came across this restaurant while looking for regional cuisine. It's a little hidden, cozy and has a nice beer garden. Public parking spaces were plentiful. The menu offers typical regional and German dishes that were very tasty. The beer is also very tasty!🤤🤗 Our four meals came at the same time. Very nice waitresses with a typical Berlin snout.😉 An insider tip for us and we will definitely come back!

I grew up in Hsh and often ate at Barnimquell as a child and teenager because it tasted excellent back then. Today I ate there again after probably 20 years. I used to always eat the “Dutch” schnitzel, and I still do today, which means it tastes different now but at least as good as it did back then. The bean salad also tastes really good. Unfortunately, I live an hour away by car, but I would make that journey for the delicious food. The service is also very friendly. The interior and the music are a matter of taste but it fits the concept. For me, worth 5 stars!

I always come here when I'm in Berlin. The restaurant is a must for me. The food is always delicious and the service is really friendly and accommodating and fulfills your every wish. Again today. Thank you very much for that, I always feel in good hands. Yesterday I was there there were different staff than I knew and I have to say if I had been there for the first time yesterday I would have left again. The staff yesterday was slow and quite unfriendly. I'm not used to this restaurant. Please look at the friendliness of the two who were there today and everything will be first class.

Nice nostalgic restaurant in the middle of prefabricated buildings. Staff quick and nice. For just under 19 euros you get a schnitzel with fries, canned beans and ready-made side dishes. Aperol Spritz €6.90 just over half full. Sorry guys!!! . But you don't have to adjust the prices to a restaurant in Mitte:( Otherwise recommended if the price is right again.

It has now become a regular table. The staff is attentive and friendly at all times, you feel like you are with friends. The map is very clear and the prices are not excessive. Taste-wise, great... Barnimquell is a bit hidden in the green of the residential area and close to a park. There is a weekly or asparagus menu. I ate asparagus "Bernese style", which tasted very good. The portion was enough for me, but others might consider it too little. There were 3 thick asparagus spears. I also liked the ice cream, 2 large scoops. The service was quick and friendly.

Nice, quaint restaurant with really friendly service. Prices are generally very fair, but not for the ice cream. 3 scoops with a bit of berry sauce for €10.50 is completely overpriced and outrageous in my opinion. It's a shame, that was probably my last visit!

Professional, hospitable, quick service, cozy, clean restaurant with a feel-good atmosphere. Mainly regional, changing dishes with good quality and normal prices. All areas accessible by wheelchair. Sanitary facilities well maintained, hygienic. Good all around!

Food was very good, could perhaps have been 3 degrees warmer but was definitely tasty. Service 1 with stars, very nice and accommodating!

The service is still 10 out of 5, unfortunately the schnitzel was apparently exchanged for shaped meat. I hope that changes quickly in the future, otherwise I will unfortunately have to leave as a regular guest.

Were there yesterday on June 7th, 2024, it was very full. And now it comes... The food is amazing....if my stomach hadn't been so full, I would have gotten a second helping...sooooo delicious.....Ultra relaxed, hard-working, friendly service...we would like to thank you again for the all-round great experience Evening great, great, great .... prices are totally OK .... we will definitely come back 😉

Unfortunately the quality has deteriorated significantly. Schnitzel is now also molded meat and extremely poor quality. There were also complaints at other tables. A pity.

I have never had such a thin steak!!! Except here! Prices are high and then still free according to the motto: Saving is not being stingy! Just disgusting!

Clearly 5 stars from us. Great service and the food was delicious and beautifully prepared, without a long wait. The restaurant itself is very rustic and seems a bit older, so a slight point deduction in the ambience area. There was soft pop music playing in the background the whole time, but very old songs. We like hits, so that's a plus point here too. :) German food to choose from. Not a nice price for this performance. We will come back.

A very authentic (East) German restaurant. The service is at least as good as the food. You will receive a friendly welcome here and if you don't know what you are hungry for, you will be helped. The prices are more than reasonable for the quality and quantity. The food is really delicious. We'd love to come back

The best schnitzels you can get in Berlin. Regular staff are busy rushing around...shopping is running. Prices for food are still affordable. When the weather is nice, sitting outside with a delicious “half” is great

Unfortunately, the food is no longer in proportion to the price. Here too, massive price increases without added value. Prices increased sharply and quality and quantity dropped sharply. The steak is certainly no longer available for 12 euros like it used to be. But I can't ask for 18 euros and only put a third on my plate. This is how you lose customers and regular customers.

In mid-July I ordered 15 places in the garden. Because of the heat, the waitress offered us the option of sitting in the restaurant instead. After 5 minutes the tables were set up. Everyone could eat ala carte. All dishes were very tasty. My best seller are the schnitzels. A very good restaurant with dedicated staff. The price level is acceptable and corresponds to the quality. My wife and I will eat there more often. Addendum from April 2024: Prices slightly increased but acceptable, quality still very good. The portions are very large. The hollandaise sauce is homemade and is a hit. 👍😄

We come here quite often to have something to eat. It's very comfortable here. You can sit outside or inside and be served. This restaurant is a real insider tip. You can come here for lunch and you will be spoiled. From my own experience and conviction, I can recommend these restaurants for more than just one visit. I wish you much fun.

I've rarely felt so comfortable, there was a bit of a club restaurant mentality. The pork knuckle was great, and the pea puree was also amazing. I'm definitely going there again.

meine Lieblings-Gaststätte. Habe hier meinen Geburtstag gefeiert. War wieder sehr zufrieden.

Kamen gerade enttäuscht aus unserem Kurzurlaub aus Tschechien zurück, aber hier wurden wir wie immer sehr herzlich von Swen und Conny empfangen. Wir haben uns wieder sehr wohl gefühlt und das Essen war auch wieder super lecker. Macht bitte weiter so!

Die Tischreservierung wurde zwei Monate vorher für Dezember 2023 vorgenommen. Zum Jahresausklang waren wir mit Kollegen im Barnimquell. Es wurde innerhalb von knapp zwei Stunden rege bestellt. Dann das unfassbare. Der Chef trat an uns heran, stützte sich mit beiden Händen auf den Esstisch und forderte uns auf, in Kürze zu gehen, weil er den Tisch brauche. Das war ein glatter Rausschmiss. Wir tranken sofort aus, haben bezahlt und sind enttäuscht gegangen. Der Koch versteht sein Handwerk, der Service allerdings legt ein Jargon an den Tag, als wären die Gäste alle Kumpels; eben wie in einer Kneipe.

Ein ostalgisches Ambiente, dass Pseudo-DDR Restaurants in ihre Schranken weist. Klassische Gerichte, wie Schnitzel in allen Varianten, bis hin zum Bohnensalat als Beilage. Alles in gutem Hausmannskoststil. Liebe Berlintouristen, wenn ihr authentisch Ostberliner Essen und Ambiente erleben wollt, seid ihr hier richtig. Allerdings mit richtig nettem Service (was vielleicht nicht ganz so typisch ist ;))

Ich fand es hier super, alles hat gepaßt. Eine ruchtig tolle Wohlfühlgaststätte. Sehr zu empfehlen!!!!

Eine nette Gaststätte mit sehr freundlichem und engagiertem Personal. Das Essen ist schmackhaft. Toll finde ich auch, dass es für Babys einen Wickeltisch und für Kleinkinder einen Topf gibt. Da merkt man, dass diese Gaststätte auch an die kleinen Gäste denkt. Schade, dass es von außen so unscheinbar ist. Oder Glück? Dann bekommt man wenigstens noch einen Platz 😁.

Wir waren mit unserem Praxisteam dort essen, sehr zu empfehlen. Sehr gemütlich und eine familiäre Atmosphäre. Auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert, man muss aber bestellen, sonst bekommt man kein Tisch. Für alle die es probieren möchten guten Appetit, did is da futtern wie bei Muttern. Sehr lecker 😋

Leuke plek waar ook locals komen eten dus dat is een goed teken. Heerlijk vegetarisch gegeten, er waren maar 2 gerechten maar die waren allebei erg lekker.

Ich war heute das erste mal in diesem Restaurant, Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker, die Bedienung super freundlich, und das Ambiente sehr passend habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und werde auch wieder kommen weiter machen. 🤗

Wir sind schon seit Jahren da,es ist sehr gut und alles lecker und Preis stimmt auch. Da kann man immer essen gehen, bloß vorbestellen ist besser.

Essen super, Bedienung freundlich. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Empfehle vorher ein Tisch zu bestellen, da es immer gut besucht ist.

Hier weht nostalgischer Flair. Ambiente erinnert an deutsche Restaurants aus der Kindheit. Gemütliche Atmosphäre, gepaart mit leiser Schlagermusik im Hintergrund. Die Speisekarte ist nicht extrem groß, aber hat dafür alles was man erwartet. Wir haben alle ganz typisch ein Schnitzel bestellt. Dieses war perfekt zubereitet. Dazu Bratkartoffeln welche ebenso sehr gut waren. Ich hatte zusätzlich Salat, der auch ordentlich war. Einzig die grünen Bohnen waren vielleicht etwas zu säuerlich. Aber immer noch gut. Zum Dessert Eis. Auch keine riesengroße Auswahl. Aber doch auch lecker. Die Bedienung war besonders freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Toller Ort zum traditionellen Essen.

Sehr freundliches Personal, super leckeres Essen. Man wartet nicht lange auf das Essen, alles wird frisch zubereitet. Gemütliches Gasthaus , wir gehen dort sehr gerne essen.
