Even one star is too many these days! Unfortunately, the staff at the McDrive-Thru can't manage to properly package orders. We assume it's due to their lack of German skills.
It's happened several times now that we've placed a larger order for more money (at least €30). Each time, something was missing, and unfortunately, it was noticed too late. Of course, you could actually check, but you can't even stand at the window for a few seconds to check. Tip for management: train your staff properly—or you'll lose even more customers!
I stood at the checkout for 20 minutes without anyone even thinking that I wanted to order something. After I paid in cash, the staff simply forgot that I would get €15 in change until I pointed it out to them. In total it took me about 35 minutes to have my MC Smart menu, only to realize that I had gotten the wrong sauce and the wrong burger.
This McDonald's is generally okay, but there are a few things that make the visit a bit inconvenient – especially the parking situation. The parking lot is difficult to access and seems rather confusing at first glance. A car dealership is right next door, which further confuses the situation, as the entrances and exits aren't clearly separated, and you have to get your bearings. Especially if you're a first-time visitor, the layout is a bit awkward.
Once you make it to the parking lot, however, a typical McDonald's awaits you. The decor is as usual – nothing outstanding, but clean and functional. The self-service kiosks worked well on my visit, and my order was prepared relatively quickly. Everything tasted as you'd expect – classic fast food, no surprises.
The staff was friendly, but a bit reserved. The seating was clean, if not particularly comfortable. If you just want a quick bite to eat, this is the place for you – but be prepared for the fact that access to the premises can be a bit confusing.
Overall, an average McDonald's with a slight weakness in the parking lot. Three stars are a good fit.
I was with my son and ordered takeout, including a Happy Meal (#121). My son chose a toy on display but wanted another one. I asked to sell the second toy separately but was refused. (Although in the past toys were always available separately for 2.5 euros). I paid for another order (#122) for a second Happy Meal that I didn't need. For the sake of the second toy that was also on display (a bee from Minecraft). But they refused to give it to me saying they didn't have it. The administrator (a man with a beard and glasses) joined the conversation and initially scolded me for speaking English and not German. Sorry, I've been to McDonald's in more than 30 countries, but this is the first time I've been subjected to such aggression because I don't speak the language of that country. He refused to give me the toy that was in the window that I bought the Happy Meal for. I asked for a refund when I wasn't given the goods displayed in the window - I was also refused. It seems like a small thing, but in the end the evening was ruined for me and my son because the administrator fundamentally refused to open the showcase and get the right toys from it.
I've already spent over 30 minutes in the drive-thru and there are still two cars in front of me... a total of 5 cars processed in that time... catastrophic management.
Relatively good BK with screens, the food was just standard BK I would generally recommend BK to change the nuggts, for example, they taste much better from MC
