Terrible service. They treat people like dirt and don't answer the phone. The food isn't bad and the wait time isn't too bad, but the service is just awful.

It looks just like any other McDonald's. The only thing is that the restrooms really need a facelift. No matter how hard the cleaning staff try, it's not going anywhere.

Paid €25 for a coupon, and you don't even get mayo without paying 50 cents...

We waited 45 minutes for our food, only to be told by the (very rude) staff that we were just out of luck and couldn't get any more food. After a lengthy discussion, we finally reluctantly got our food. When the food arrived, the fries were cold and soggy. Definitely not worth a visit.

Extremely unfriendly staff, especially the male staff

We were at the McDonald's on Talstraße in Freiburg on October 9, 2025, at 7:15 p.m. The food didn't arrive after 30 minutes. The first employee said it couldn't be true, denied everything, and spoke to us in a horrible tone. The other employee also argued with us for another 10 minutes. He was wearing a white shirt and a headset. Never again McDonald's on Talstraße!!!

Coffee ordered from Mc Cafe, he just gives it from the normal coffee machine, they don't want to use the big machine.

A very uncomfortable overnight stay, forced by an ICE train breakdown. Since I couldn't get into my planned room at the youth hostel at that late hour, this McDonald's was the only place open at the main station to pass the time. The experience was extremely disappointing. The staff is unfortunately quite inhospitable, which is exacerbated by an intrusive, sometimes abusive clientele. It's unacceptable that in 2025 there will be no power supply for charging devices here – that's standard practice today. Furthermore, the branch isn't app-enabled: despite having credit and points collected, redemption isn't possible here. The alternative – a McDonald's where you have to change trains at least once and walk for 30 minutes – is absolutely unacceptable. Never again @

You order three meals and get two. Your approach is abysmal. This McDonald's has been miserable since 2023! I hope you can close the place soon.

There's hardly any difference between the branches. You either like McDonald's or you don't. I love it.

It's a megges, nothing to complain about

It's a real shame that every time I visit I have to call a member of staff to clean the tables, even though it's not busy at times. The tables are very dirty, even the seating areas.

I ordered food through Wolt, and with a large fries, the thing only came half full, and the fries weren't even cooked through. They actually looked like they'd just thrown in the leftovers from the corner.

It's the fastest I've ever seen... you order the food and it's on your table in 1 minute.

It's been very dirty lately. They bring the correct order every once in a while.

McDrive: Unfortunately, I forgot to put the limited-edition products in the bag. I only noticed it when I got home, typical. You'd think that after all these years, McDonald's would finally have developed a comprehensive system to prevent such trivial errors. No luck. Unfortunately, there's also no easy complaint function in the app. My money is gone, for nothing.

Good location, stylishly designed restaurant, on-site parking, friendly staff, food was top quality as usual, and restrooms were clean.

We come here regularly, especially for breakfast. Everything has always been excellent, the service is quick, and the food is always as it should be. The service is also surprisingly friendly. The tables could only be wiped down a little more often.

They answered the phone and didn't say anything, just cheeky, today's generation, you can also say hello.

It's a shame, we wanted to order again after a long time. Communication during the order process was difficult, we received the wrong item, and the fries were unfortunately incredibly soft.

A QM would be appropriate here... the quality of the food varies... sometimes "sloppy" and "cold," sometimes perfect. The French fries in particular have been mostly abysmal in recent months, taken out of the fryer too early, often with no or too little salt, and this week they were soggy again... not good at all! What we also noticed here in this branch... many things are very often "out of stock," so the ordering system doesn't seem to be working either. In general, we no longer understand McDonald's' "chicken-centric" attitude. If you only want chicken, you can go to KFC a few meters away...

Perfect McDonald's for Sea You. Easy access and a perfect midnight snack. Could be a bit cleaner, though.

July 31, 2025, 3:00 PM After placing an order totaling €42 with two McMenu items and two Happy Meals, I was refused an exchange for an incorrectly issued sauce (25ml sweet and sour sauce for curry sauce). The reason given was: once issued, it cannot be returned. The curry sauce was, of course, still sealed in its container. Even if this statement were correct, I would have expected that at least my order slip would have been examined closely (this didn't happen, otherwise the error would have been cleared up) or that, as a gesture of goodwill, I would simply have been given a new sweet and sour sauce (€0.80 = 2% of my order). Many thanks to the gentleman with the headset. (and take Aldi-Süd as an example)

Here you have the German translation: --- It's a shame to go out to eat and find that neither the staff nor the person in charge know what gluten-free is! That there are no gluten-free options, they are uninformed, don't know the protocol, and only start scanning an allergen menu – even though there is gluten-free bread. This lack of knowledge is a disgrace and a health risk for many people. --- If you want a more formal or more embarrassed tone, you can adapt.

Kind of like all the McDonald's restaurants I know.

When you order food for delivery, sometimes something is missing, sometimes something is missing at the drive-thru, sometimes something is missing when you order takeout. But in Freiburg, there's still the McDonald's where you have the fewest problems when ordering food.

What can I say, it's just McDonald's 😀

Fast service, welcoming and very clean space.

Today was my first time at this McDonald's. Very friendly staff, I have to say. But as far as cleanliness goes...the restaurant was okay, the outside area was okay. However, the restrooms were appalling! It looks as if no cloth, mop, or cleaning products have found their way to the restrooms for months. Pretty disgusting, and I wonder where the hygiene is failing... Recommendation: urgently and immediately carry out a professional deep cleaning.

Strangely, there are ALWAYS items missing from orders, but there's never an extra item by chance or something. Start taking your customers seriously and give people what they paid for. It's abysmal.

I can recommend it. The drive-thru is pretty quick. If you want to eat there, I think it's ideal to order at the counter or at the tower. You can sit outside and there's a slide for kids. And there's plenty of parking.

Thanks to the smart ordering options, things have gotten a whole lot better. The food was warm and edible. MC Flury's dragon tongue doesn't taste good at all.

I've rarely seen such a dirty place. Every public restroom is cleaner. Checked at 11:30 a.m., and by 11:40 a.m. it was so dirty. I can't understand why.

Considering we were there an hour before closing, it was actually quite busy. Nevertheless, our order was quick and nothing was missing.

On June 4, 2025, I ordered two McChickens and 20 chicken nuggets at McDonald's Drive-Thru. They weren't fresh and were dry. I'll never go back to McDonald's!

I was there on Sunday, May 25, 2025, around 6 p.m. It was a nightmare. You'd think the burgers or whatever were freshly prepared; far from it. The Big Mac was so abysmal. The patties were cold and dry, barely any sauce on them, etc. That was definitely my last visit to this branch. A week earlier, I was at the McDonald's in Ulm. It was like night and day.

No recommendation for fast food or for the public.

It's unbelievable that two people go to McDonald's, each wanting an ice cream, and are told they can only have one! I'll be honest, it's absolutely disgusting!

Never again. I regularly go to McDonald's on Tullastrasse. Two weeks ago, my two colleagues and I ate there and we've always ordered something, and now I've received a letter saying I have to pay €30 for just six minutes. It's simply a disgrace. There are no restaurants where you're allowed to stay for a certain amount of time. Shame on you, you're just kidding me.

As is the case with McDonald's... the wrap last time wasn't anything special! I couldn't redeem the free coffee. The value for money at McDonald's hasn't been right for a while. It's okay for a quick bite. There are plenty of parking spaces here.

The service is poor, the employees do not put all the products in the order and are very inattentive. This evening I ordered two menus that were supposed to include two glasses, one purple and one red, but of course they weren't included.

All is well so far, only in MC DriVe the orders are often mixed up, or sometimes something is missing. So check, as always. Humans are not machines. Otherwise everything was top notch

Be careful when parking. We ate there and sat there with friends for a long time (over the permitted 2 hours). Since we had ordered food several times, we sat there for a while. Now we got a fine of 40 euros because we exceeded the maximum parking time of 2 hours...absolute disgrace. We sat inside and ate, and I also sent bank statements. Where you can see that we ordered something several times at different times!!!!! Absolute rip off!!!

Unfortunately, you can't order everything via the screen. If you're not that mobile, you'll have a problem.

Restaurant and staff okay. Unfortunately, hamburgers are getting smaller and smaller. Very little sauce and dry. Fries are all small sticks up to 2cm in size that I can't actually dip into the ketchup without getting my fingers full. My feeling: the goods are getting worse and worse, the price/performance ratio is no longer right.

Unfortunately, the shop is often unclean and the tables are greasy and not really inviting. Waiting 20 minutes for 3 MC flurry wasn't that exciting either. When I asked why it was taking so long, the answer was that the machine was broken. Strange that one ice cream after another was poured, but my order wasn't there. When I asked, I was dismissed in a cheeky and arrogant manner by the branch manager. Afterwards, people blasphemed me in the local language. Absolutely unworthy of a boss. I will avoid this branch. Underground service and behavior.

I was there yesterday and had an open sweet and sour dip in my bag where you could definitely see that some of it had been eaten!!! Unfortunately, this leads me to suspect that the bags are fished out of the trash and reused!!!

is a very good McDonald's with consistently good quality i.e. fresh and warm. There is plenty of parking and a cozy outdoor area for dining and a children's area with a slide. The employees are a bit suspicious but it is still cozy in the restaurant. You can order at the counter and also drive in at the drive-in.

And again there was a lot of food missing at the Mc Drive.. 1x fries and a Mc Chicken, plus instead of the two double chili cheeseburgers that were more expensive, there were two double cheeseburgers in the bag. That was the last time today at McDonald's.... :-(

So out of the blue the big tasty is off the menu, ONLY in this McDonald’s? They do whatever the hell they want in the delivery service, you simply never get the drinks you order.

Very nice and clean branch. We were here for breakfast on a Saturday at the end of August and were very pleased with the pleasant atmosphere, friendly service and the quality of the coffee and food. German is also spoken and understood fluently here, which is not a given in every McDonald's.

McDonalds is and remains McDonalds. Good food just looks different.

Here too, as in any other branch, the same food, the same ambience and the same rating apply! Whether you eat there or take away doesn't make the quality any better, I have the feeling that things have gotten worse rather than better in recent years, regardless of whether it's the staff or the products. Take the time and treat yourself to something real, if only to love your children!
