McDonald's in Freiburg im Breisgau

Today was my first time at this McDonald's. Very friendly staff, I have to say. But as far as cleanliness goes...the restaurant was okay, the outside area was okay. However, the restrooms were appalling! It looks as if no cloth, mop, or cleaning products have found their way to the restrooms for months. Pretty disgusting, and I wonder where the hygiene is failing... Recommendation: urgently and immediately carry out a professional deep cleaning.

Strangely, there are ALWAYS items missing from orders, but there's never an extra item by chance or something. Start taking your customers seriously and give people what they paid for. It's abysmal.

I can recommend it. The drive-thru is pretty quick. If you want to eat there, I think it's ideal to order at the counter or at the tower. You can sit outside and there's a slide for kids. And there's plenty of parking.

Thanks to the smart ordering options, things have gotten a whole lot better. The food was warm and edible. MC Flury's dragon tongue doesn't taste good at all.

I've rarely seen such a dirty place. Every public restroom is cleaner. Checked at 11:30 a.m., and by 11:40 a.m. it was so dirty. I can't understand why.

Considering we were there an hour before closing, it was actually quite busy. Nevertheless, our order was quick and nothing was missing.

Berger, lukewarm have been in front for a while now, so they are already slightly hard and tasteless and just an old taste

In short: We've been out of Big Tasty Bacon for several weeks now, due to allegedly faulty sauces, etc. Sorry, I can understand if it's been several days, but weeks. We were regulars in Freiburg, but will now, for better or for worse, be switching branches.

On June 4, 2025, I ordered two McChickens and 20 chicken nuggets at McDonald's Drive-Thru. They weren't fresh and were dry. I'll never go back to McDonald's!

At the Mac Drive, a 5-minute wait. Please keep asking for a moment. If there aren't enough staff, a word of explanation or apology would be helpful.

I was there on Sunday, May 25, 2025, around 6 p.m. It was a nightmare. You'd think the burgers or whatever were freshly prepared; far from it. The Big Mac was so abysmal. The patties were cold and dry, barely any sauce on them, etc. That was definitely my last visit to this branch. A week earlier, I was at the McDonald's in Ulm. It was like night and day.

No recommendation for fast food or for the public.

Never again. I regularly go to McDonald's on Tullastrasse. Two weeks ago, my two colleagues and I ate there and we've always ordered something, and now I've received a letter saying I have to pay €30 for just six minutes. It's simply a disgrace. There are no restaurants where you're allowed to stay for a certain amount of time. Shame on you, you're just kidding me.

It's unbelievable that two people go to McDonald's, each wanting an ice cream, and are told they can only have one! I'll be honest, it's absolutely disgusting!

As is the case with McDonald's... the wrap last time wasn't anything special! I couldn't redeem the free coffee. The value for money at McDonald's hasn't been right for a while. It's okay for a quick bite. There are plenty of parking spaces here.

The service is poor, the employees do not put all the products in the order and are very inattentive. This evening I ordered two menus that were supposed to include two glasses, one purple and one red, but of course they weren't included.

Some toilets are broken and sinks don't work, both women's and men's toilets. Food was incomplete and was only brought after request.

All is well so far, only in MC DriVe the orders are often mixed up, or sometimes something is missing. So check, as always. Humans are not machines. Otherwise everything was top notch

Be careful when parking. We ate there and sat there with friends for a long time (over the permitted 2 hours). Since we had ordered food several times, we sat there for a while. Now we got a fine of 40 euros because we exceeded the maximum parking time of 2 hours...absolute disgrace. We sat inside and ate, and I also sent bank statements. Where you can see that we ordered something several times at different times!!!!! Absolute rip off!!!

Unfortunately, you can't order everything via the screen. If you're not that mobile, you'll have a problem.

Restaurant and staff okay. Unfortunately, hamburgers are getting smaller and smaller. Very little sauce and dry. Fries are all small sticks up to 2cm in size that I can't actually dip into the ketchup without getting my fingers full. My feeling: the goods are getting worse and worse, the price/performance ratio is no longer right.

Heute sind wir vom Reinigungszustand überrascht gewesen. Waren um ca. 16 Uhr dort (kein Hochbetrieb). Boden dreckig, Tische dreckig und es ist nicht so, dass derjenige, der die Bestellung an die Tische bringt, nicht den Zustand gesehen hat. Daher hab ich mal meine Bewertung angepasst...

Some dishes were prepared incorrectly, sauces were forgotten. Mayonnaise was missing. It's annoying that you have to constantly check everything and then complain. The employees and the service manager were not polite. Definitely in need of improvement

So the man at the McDrive couldn't speak any German, was unusually unfriendly and called us Diggah. That was the last time

12 minutes waiting time in Mc Drive even though there was only one car in front of me, the employee lost his calm and just said bluntly “I need a car”

Unfortunately, the shop is often unclean and the tables are greasy and not really inviting. Waiting 20 minutes for 3 MC flurry wasn't that exciting either. When I asked why it was taking so long, the answer was that the machine was broken. Strange that one ice cream after another was poured, but my order wasn't there. When I asked, I was dismissed in a cheeky and arrogant manner by the branch manager. Afterwards, people blasphemed me in the local language. Absolutely unworthy of a boss. I will avoid this branch. Underground service and behavior.

I was there yesterday and had an open sweet and sour dip in my bag where you could definitely see that some of it had been eaten!!! Unfortunately, this leads me to suspect that the bags are fished out of the trash and reused!!!

is a very good McDonald's with consistently good quality i.e. fresh and warm. There is plenty of parking and a cozy outdoor area for dining and a children's area with a slide. The employees are a bit suspicious but it is still cozy in the restaurant. You can order at the counter and also drive in at the drive-in.

And again there was a lot of food missing at the Mc Drive.. 1x fries and a Mc Chicken, plus instead of the two double chili cheeseburgers that were more expensive, there were two double cheeseburgers in the bag. That was the last time today at McDonald's.... :-(

We were brought our meals, not a smile...not a word...not even bon appetit...ultra disappointing service

So out of the blue the big tasty is off the menu, ONLY in this McDonald’s? They do whatever the hell they want in the delivery service, you simply never get the drinks you order.

Very nice and clean branch. We were here for breakfast on a Saturday at the end of August and were very pleased with the pleasant atmosphere, friendly service and the quality of the coffee and food. German is also spoken and understood fluently here, which is not a given in every McDonald's.

McDonalds is and remains McDonalds. Good food just looks different.

Here too, as in any other branch, the same food, the same ambience and the same rating apply! Whether you eat there or take away doesn't make the quality any better, I have the feeling that things have gotten worse rather than better in recent years, regardless of whether it's the staff or the products. Take the time and treat yourself to something real, if only to love your children!

It was rare to be really satisfied in a McDonald's where the breakfast and normal food was so good because everything was at least warm and of course nicer The employees are also super nice I'd love to come back

Unfortunately, it is always sad that orders that are ordered shortly before the end of the delivery time are canceled. Then please only offer delivery times until 9:55 p.m. instead of 10 p.m.... :/:/ But if the delivery time is until 10 p.m. then I expect to be able to order until 10 p.m....

We ate the new mass in the evening of August 20, 2024 and both went to the doctor the next morning. Suspected food poisoning. Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, chills, stomach cramps, headache and body aches. We'll never go there again!

A child throws up in the slide, my nuggets were disgusting, there aren't even ashtrays here, no straws, what kind of store is this? The store sucks. WORD. LITERALLY

Every McDonald’s for me is ok. Food is clean, delicious mostly everywhere you go at McDonald’s in Germany.

It happened to me exactly the same way with the parking space being overrun for 1 minute. We ate with 7 people and left around 100 euros lying around and had to pay a 30 euro fine because of exactly 1 minute. Never again. You eat for a lot of money and then get ripped off. To us as customers, no thanks to McDonald's Tullastrasse

The burgers were very, very dry, hardly any ketchup or mustard on them and onions. Mc Flurry large portion. But the burgers were lukewarm and hardly anything on them

You are not welcome here with small children, my wife parked in the yard and went to eat with the children. She then received a ticket from the parking company for being 4 minutes late (you are only allowed to park here for 2 hours) worth €30.00. We wrote to the responsible company but they told us it was an infringement and we had to pay!! Absolute disgrace what is going on here. They have never heard of customer friendliness!! As a customer you are also not welcome here, especially with small children. We will NEVER visit this store again. Thank you to the park company!!!!!

I would like to go there again. Table service works flawlessly if you order using the app.

Simply 1 star because there are no longer scrambled eggs for breakfast.

I called once and asked like a normal person if they delivered, then I was yelled at because I was confused with a weird guy who seemed to be playing prank calls. They threatened me with the police, really bad. Employees should undergo politeness training. And about food; It's just Mecces, it always works, but you can't expect high quality.

For me that was finally it with MC Donalds in Freiburg. In Haslach the quality has been poor for ages. I always go to Tullastr. Danger, that used to be really good. But the last few times including today it's just a joke. 10 euros for a cold Bic Mac that had been sitting around for a long time and 2 fries that shouldn't even be called fries anymore. I've never seen anything so flimsy. Anyone who charges 10 euros should also provide a minimum standard of quality. Just a joke what you get for your money.

I don't think it's a good thing at all that you can only order certain foods via the app, even if you're there you can't do it without the app.

If possible, I would have given one star. The staff doesn't feel like eating, the food is dry and just warmed up again, and the tip of the iceberg is that there is NO disabled-accessible toilet! And the toilets that are available are dirty and you get fungus! And the doors alone are impossible for wheelchair users to open.

Absolute parking lot rip-off with bad food. We were there for 2 hours to eat and then have coffee. The surprise came the second week later, with a fine of €30. An absolute disgrace. Result: you have lost us as customers.

There was something hard in my MC Chicken, it looked like a fingernail🤢 I almost vomited... the service also looked like it was forced to work. It was catastrophic

Nothing to do with Mac Donald's in France. The restaurant is clean, table chair and floor. There is a choice for vegetarians, the hamburgers are better. I advise Mac Donald's in France to do internships

Surprisingly, the food was really warm, almost hot, which you can't always expect. The staff was really nice.

Every time something is missing from the order and the last time I was there the manager of the branch poured a coke on me and my food then he started laughing and said he didn't see me but that was impossible the way I was standing He didn't apologize and my new shoes that you can't wash are ruined

Was and is the better MCD in Freiburg. Burgers can be put together here, with more meat, more sauce or other possible selection options.

The store is totally dirty inside and out (see photo) and then the manager yells at me shamelessly and refuses to let me eat in the store because I had my e-scooter in my hand. The previous times this wasn't a problem. will never visit this McDonald's again!

Just ordered plant based nuggets to take away. When we got home it turned out that they were definitely real meat nuggets. This was also confirmed by a second person. Plant based packaging was even used. You can't beat it for audacity! If even the packaging of chicken nuggets fails due to the “skills” of the employees, this dirty shop can no longer be helped!

It was actually always the Essen McDonald's in Freiburg that was full, unfortunately since the last 3 visits there is always something missing from the order, sometimes it's fries, sometimes nuggets, today one of three Mc'Chicken Classic was missing...but the staff is always friendly.
