It may not be a five star restaurant (when we had our lunch there the resto is under renovation so it was a bit “squeezey” but hopefully next time we come back the renovation is done and we’ll seart much more comfortably). But it has one of the best hospitalities (the smile on their faces especially Mo who patiently serves us). Delicious burger. Delicious special crispy chicken plate. The portion is generous. And we do not need spend much money for this yummy food. Mo even gave us complimentary delicious Falafel and extra french fries. And most of all for those moslem customers, it is HALAL. Recommended.

Ordered pizza again today and it was again very tasty. Staff also very friendly. I can recommend it 100%. Thanks to you. I still have one thing, unfortunately I ordered through Lief…… for delivery and Lief….. didn’t have a driver. So it took over an hour. But Miwano can't help it. It's best to eat there or call directly to pick up.

Very warm welcome in this restaurant, the flamenkuches were very good and the service was fast

We ate there before a concert and were pleasantly surprised. For starters we had bruschetta and they were brilliant! The pizza and pasta were also super good. The owners are very friendly.

I had curry with rice there and found the dish very tasty. There is also the option to order Pad Thai. However, you would have to find out which day of the week the dish is offered. There is seating at a bar table for three people. If there are no more seats available, you can still take the food with you as take-away. Many people have done that before and after me. Since the supermarket is right next door, it is very practical if you want to stock up on a water bottle afterwards.

Renate’s Pauseneck is the last real snack bar in Freiburg! All the dishes are always a delight and make you forget the stress around you at lunch! You can add onions 🧅 to all dishes, which in my opinion complement every meal perfectly! If you are looking for a real snack bar in Freiburg (like you often found in Freiburg a few years ago, for example at the old freight station) you have come to the right place!

Ordered via Lieferando. Delivery from Freiburg to Waldkirch, super punctual, driver friendly. Food perfect, leak-proof and packed hot, tasted very good and portions large enough. Gladly again.
