Discovered by chance, Delicious tarte flambée and super, super nice guys at the counter. But what's really awful is that if you eat there, you have to change your clothes afterward. My clothes smelled so strongly of onions, it was truly disgusting.

We were here and enjoyed two delicious tarte flambées. We found a parking spot and received a very warm welcome. The service is very friendly! The food arrived within minutes! The drinks selection is also great! We wish you continued success and say, "Thank you and see you next time!" By the way, we learned there are three locations.

I ordered Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle) and salad for delivery. Quick, easy, and delicious. I'd order again.

I really enjoy eating here; even though I've only been there twice, I fell in love with the tarte flambée. The staff is very friendly, and the interior is very nice and simply decorated. The price is also very fair. I'm happy to give it 5 stars because I'm quite satisfied. I will definitely be coming back again.

I highly recommend it. The restaurant owner gave us a wonderful welcome. Seeing that we were trying to translate the menu, he offered us the French menu directly. Very warm welcome, with a smile. I like ordering there, especially the salad with the delicious dressing. But please, sort out the wilted and brown lettuce leaves. Lettuce has to be fresh, not from yesterday. I don't like brown stems. Thank you.

There were nine of us (six adults, three children) on our way back from our summer vacation in Spain and we had planned/booked an overnight stay in Freiburg. I called the restaurant at lunchtime and asked about a table reservation for our large group, and was told "no problem." When we arrived, all tired from the journey, we were immediately greeted in a friendly and welcoming manner. Shortly after taking our seats, we were able to order, and a short time later, our tarte flambée arrived. Despite nine different ones, they all arrived almost at the same time, so we were able to eat together. The lovely chef then wanted to treat us to a sweet dessert, a tarte flambée. But we were extremely full and, unfortunately, also tired, otherwise we might have accepted his offer. Regarding the quality of the food: it was wonderfully fresh, extremely delicious, and we all enjoyed it very much. If I ever find myself in Freiburg again, I will definitely come back here!! Thank you for the lovely afternoon/evening.

Great local place to try one of the unique Freiburg dishes... the Flammkuchen. We were near and saw great reviews of this place and it was perfect. Its half self service so you pick drinks and stuff in the front desk and fridges. Recommendations are great as well for things outside the menu.

We were passing through and chose this lovely restaurant based on the reviews for tarte flambée. It was a hit. The quality is top-notch. Finally, tarte flambée with salmon that you don't have to search for with a magnifying glass.

The Breisgauer Flammkuchen looks like a fast-food joint. However, they do have a large selection of bottled drinks. The staff was very friendly and brought the food we ordered at the counter to our tables. Of course, we had to try the Flammburger, as I haven't seen it anywhere else. It was also delicious, although the industrial bun was a drawback.

Nice big portions and tasty food. We eat in and service was very good. It’s more of a cafe / counter service place rather than a full restaurant but still very good. They don’t serve alcohol. Would happily eat there again if we were staying in the B&B Hotel

Disappointing experience – not recommended The "Bresigauer" tarte flambée restaurant on Munzinger Straße in Freiburg was recommended to us online, supposedly with many very good reviews. But our visit, unfortunately, revealed a completely different picture. Cleanliness & Hygiene: The premises were anything but clean and well-maintained. The restrooms, in particular, were in very poor condition – unhygienic and unpleasant. The tables outside were also dirty and obviously not cleaned regularly, even though everyone wanted to sit outside on such a warm day. Service & Staff: The staff were completely overwhelmed. Orders were mixed up, and we had to wait a long time for the correct dishes. There is hardly any staff, and the few who work there have to do everything at once – taking orders, serving, baking, and cashing up. This is unfortunately clearly noticeable in the process. Food & Drinks: We ordered four tarte flambées and four drinks and paid over €60 for them – completely overpriced for the quality offered. The tarte flambée tasted okay, but by no means special. The drinks weren't even chilled. The price is at a 5-star level, without offering anything like the service or quality that comes close. Misleading information: A main reason for our visit was the supposed children's playground – there isn't one. Instead, it's a small restaurant in an industrial area with a few outdoor tables – definitely not a child-friendly environment. Conclusion: Our impression is that many of the online reviews are... hmmm. The reality on site certainly doesn't reflect them. Anyone who eats there should carefully consider whether it's really worth the money. Our recommendation: don't go. If you absolutely want to try it, then at most, takeout. But overall: overpriced, dirty, overwhelmed – not recommended for families.

Very delicious tarte flambée. I love coming here and love it every time. Tarte flambée is a classic and not too heavy, but it's filling. The restaurant looks nice, has a simple design, but has everything you need. It's self-service, and you can also choose and get your own drinks. You pay at the end, and it's always a fair price for the food and the service.

You can tell that the food is cooked with love and that the freshest ingredients are used. An all-round successful experience – we'll definitely be back!

Of course, you might have to expect a bit of a wait, but it's definitely worth it. The service is very friendly and attentive, which perfectly rounds off a visit to this small restaurant. It is next to the B&B Süd hotel in Freiburg, a 2-minute walk away. The welcome and attention were exceptional, despite the language barrier. For dinner, three diners ordered a traditional Flammkuchen, a salad and Käsespätzle (pasta with cheese and onion), all very fresh, abundant and tasty, with the drink 34.20 Euros. Highly recommended for a typical and quick meal.

We had a tarte flambée and a salami pizza delivered to us, 25-30 minutes until it arrived, the food was very fresh and crispy. The fresh ingredients speak for themselves. Everything very fine and tasteful! Prices are absolutely okay for the quality and delivery 🔶 We are totally thrilled and recommend it!!🔶
