This is a hidden gem of Freiburg. The owner Mohamed is personable, charming, and runs an amazing restaurant. The food is always freshly made and delicious. The tarte flambees, salads, and pasta dishes are always big enough to share.

Very friendly owner and delicious tarte flambée at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is relatively quiet. We got a table without a reservation.

The tarte flambées are truly delicious and worth a quick stop on your shopping trip. Friendly service and ample seating are available.

Flammkuchen with homemade pastry. They're good, even if there's sometimes too much cream (a bit sickening). The onions lack a bit of flavor (with white wine). Decent prices

The owners are friendly, the various tarte flambées taste quite good, but they're not going to blow you away. The tables weren't cleaned and were quite sticky in places, the restrooms were dirty, and there was no soap. You have to stand in line to order, then sit down, and the tarte flambée is brought. Then you have to stand in line again at the ordering station to pay... inconvenient when it's busy. You could pay right away when you order, so you wouldn't have to stand in line twice... Otherwise, it's okay.

We had two flammkuchen for lunch, they were crispy, very good, for dessert one with Nutella and banana, the service from the person who runs the restaurant was very good, very nice, the best flammkuchen not in Freiburg, the best in the entire Black Forest and Alsace, France.

The service was super friendly, and they were also up for a joke. The tarte flambée was delicious and good value for money.

We tried the flammkuchen, a fairly common dish in restaurants in the Black Forest. They were good, but not the most spectacular meal we've ever had (6-7/10), although the price was very reasonable (below what you'd typically find in Germany). The service was very friendly and fast. The atmosphere was pleasant.

Fast service, wide selection of Flammkuchen. We ordered the vegan version with tomato sauce, which made it taste more like a pizza than a Flammkuchen. Good value for money.

At Breisgauer Flammenkuchen, you'll find a wide selection of delicious tarte flambée. The dough is nice and thin and crispy, and the toppings are fresh and well-balanced. The pizza also pleasantly surprised us – also crispy and very tasty. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable visit – we'd be happy to return.

Food: The food is ok,you get a 2mm dough,some sauce,salami and gratinated cheese. Service: Is ok,you can make your own “Flammkuchen” and pay more,or just get nothing and pay less. The guy who serves everyone is speaking with you different things and gives recommendations. Atmosphere: You can eat inside or just eat outside and enjoy.. seeing the people walking,or just having a fight with the table to not move anymore. Price: Around 13€ for 1 person without drinks. My opinion: The price is too high for this place,because of the “reviews”,but the “Flammkuchen” is mostly the same quality like the other places with a lower price. If you just wanna try it,then try it.

Delicious, authentic tarte flambée in many variations. Even though we only tried the classic, we can highly recommend this restaurant. The place was almost full at the time of our visit, but we managed to get a seat. You have to order at the counter, and the food is then brought to your seat.

I'm traveling with my family and we ended up here for dinner, and it was a very pleasant surprise for us. The waiters were very friendly and attentive; they even recommended a dish and were spot on. The food is delicious and quite cheap. The only downside is that they don't have an alcohol license, so all they get is zero beer, but it's absolutely worth it. Highly recommended.

A very good restaurant for lunch while visiting the city. We ordered a mixed salad with tuna, pasta with mushrooms and chicken, and a Nutella and banana flammkuchen. Everything was very good. They were very friendly and spoke English.

We had a super delicious flammkuchen! Lots of choices and a great price! What made it even better was the enthusiastic service. Even though it was very busy, our group of 10 received plenty of attention. That makes all the difference. 🎉😎✅

Delicious food, wonderful service - friendly and chill environment

We came to eat a tarte flambée during our stay in Fribourg and we ate very well. The establishment has two rooms, one of which has the kitchen, which allows it to accommodate quite a few people. The tarte flambée was quite well filled and tasty. A little extra for the main server who is full of humor and speaks a little French. We just miss the loud music at times.

I had dinner last night with four friends at this restaurant, which I highly recommend. There's a wide selection of flammkuches. Pasta, salads, and pizzas are also on the menu. Whichever dish you choose, you won't be disappointed. For dessert, there are delicious Nutella-banana, Nutella-strawberry (Nutella-cherry if the season is right), and apple-cinnamon tartes flambées. You order at the counter, and the dishes are served quickly. The service is attentive and friendly. In conclusion, we had a great last evening to round off our vacation. Living near the border, I'll definitely be back.

Big problem in Germany for food, restaurants closed, full, overpriced... we managed to find this gem, friendly staff, speaking a little French, very helpful and menu in French. Affordable prices and plenty of choice. Highly recommended.

I can't say whether this tarte flambée is authentic, but it tasted very good. There are also vegetarian and vegan options. The atmosphere was a bit hectic and the staff was hectic, but everything went very quickly. It was a very mixed and touristy crowd. The restroom situation could be improved, though. The price/performance ratio is very fair.

Today, while strolling through town, we happened upon Breisgauer Flammkuchen by chance. Absolutely delicious Flammkuchen. The "Spezial" are a hit. The attentive owner asks if everything is okay and thanks the customer for their visit. At the next table, a customer complained about her missing Flammkuchen. They immediately offered an upgrade for the meal and apologized profusely. A ray of hope I haven't experienced in a long time. The Flammkuchen was incredibly delicious. Handmade dough, freshly topped, and crispy from the wood-fired oven. Wow.

Whenever I'm in France, this is my first stop when I'm feeling a little peckish. The FK are the BEST in town. Go there.

Hot and fresh Flammkuchen. We had one vegetarian and one Flammkuchen with Ham and Spargel. Both were delicious. Their service is very fast as well. Good place to grab a quick lunch.

I am an Italian on holiday in Germany. I ate very well here, the guys are really kind and the best flammkuchen in the area. We will definitely be back 👍👍👍🍕
