Had a Christmas party there, food was very tasty, service was great

Unfortunately no mulled wine, but everything else was great!

Visiting the Bären in Freiburg was a great experience! The food was very tasty throughout, the Flädlesuppe in particular is highly recommended – wonderfully aromatic and seasoned just right. The Allgäuer Pfännle was also a highlight, with tender meat and perfectly seasoned side dishes. The service was friendly, I'd love to come back!

Very friendly service and the dressing on the lamb's lettuce was very tasty. Atmosphere very cozy, even when it's full.

The cordon bleu and the jus were very tasty, the waitresses were friendly and attentive.

Everything was great, very hospitable
