Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. The burger was poorly topped, stale, and tough. I had the feeling the chicken nuggets had been reheated or fried multiple times. This leads me to believe they were also stale. Terrific service. Those employees (managers) would be better off working as cave explorers. Never again!!!!

What can I say... I ordered something and threw up 15 times, the worst night of my life. It's three days later and I still can't eat properly. I wanted to call to report it, in case something went wrong and others had the same problem. Unfortunately, the man on the phone didn't speak German and didn't understand what I was trying to say... And to have to pay €40 for that, it really hurts...

Unfriendly service, my order was incomplete, and I was told to sit down and the food would be brought to me. I waited 20 minutes, and when I asked at the register, they initially denied that I would receive anything... only to finally get the (by then cold) wrap from a colleague, after it had obviously still been sitting in the display case. This is unacceptable!

It would be good if the employees taking orders at the drive-thru spoke German—at least enough to actually get the right food! I've already received the wrong order three times and couldn't return it! The employee wasn't friendly either. He refused to discuss it with me, simply said "bye," and closed the window! Outrageous!

The burger was dried out and cold. It tasted disgusting. The only advice is to simply return the food. The staff was friendly.

It's very modern, clean, and quiet (at least on a Saturday morning). I ordered a cup of tea here after the gym. What's annoying, though, is that it's another McDonald's with no app for redeeming and collecting points.

I've never experienced such a bad McCes. Or such bad service in general. The food is usually old and lukewarm thanks to freshly prepared food... If you're lucky, the employee understands German. You usually get an incorrect or incomplete order. Better go somewhere else...anywhere! Better go to the north of Freiburg; there's a super reliable branch near IKEA. P.S.: Two of the employees are real gems, the rest...bots

One star is too many. This place desperately needs renovation, but the franchisee obviously doesn't care at all; people buy it anyway.

Worst service of any restaurant I've been to. The staff speaks virtually no German, and unfortunately, there are no order screens. And the burgers aren't up to McDonald's standards. They're poorly assembled and have too little sauce.

No terminals, unfriendly staff, and we weren't told that ketchup had to be ordered separately for the fries. We had to wait another 10 minutes for that.

Well that leaves something to be desired, preferably minus stars but unfortunately that is not possible here

McDonald's Germany does not offer a dedicated gluten-free menu. In Switzerland, Spain, ... McDonalds have a gluten-free menu. Why not in Germany?

As the time of writing this, for some reason this McDonald's or the McDonald's of this region have decided to remove gluten free bread. Not only that but the staff have ZERO clue of what gluten is and I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't know how to prevent cross contamination. The manager was also clueless about gluten free products. The only good part that I have seen is that they give you a decent amount of napkins and it's comfortable to eat inside.

Here's the German translation with the same clear and direct criticism: --- An absolutely miserable restaurant, simply terrible. The staff's behavior is catastrophic. They don't know any protocols, have no idea about gluten-free products, and simply tell you that there are no gluten-free burgers – they don't know what the issue is. A real health risk for people with food allergies, celiac disease, etc. Instead of being trained and knowing what the dishes contain, they refer you to the allergen menu – even though they work in a restaurant! And the fact that they don't even know what gluten is is simply disgraceful. Those who work there should be truly ashamed of themselves. --- If you want to publish it online or in social circles, you can adjust the style more accurately.

Hi everyone, we were at this McDonald's. The restrooms weren't clean, there was no toilet paper or soap, and the service wasn't all that great. The fries weren't all that tasty either.

It's just a McDonald's. Like all the others, the service isn't as good. It's usually hard to understand, and many employees are rather slow. It's a shame there are no order kiosks at this McDonald's, and the app is useless. We only go there occasionally because it's within cycling distance.

Waiting times are consistently too long. Staff juggle both taking orders and serving, leading to huge queues. They really need self-service ordering kiosks to speed things up!

I ordered through Lieferando at 8 p.m. The order was canceled at 10 p.m., and I had called beforehand, and they said, "Yeah, the driver had already left." Nothing! I called, and a brainiac answered, but he couldn't enter the order number because he didn't understand German! Worst McDonald's ever. It's truly disgraceful that McDonald's doesn't look into this. I'm French and this McDonald's is great, cheap, the staff are super nice and helped us choose our menu, the premises are beautiful and clean

Food? Just like you'd expect at McDonald's; you know what you're getting. But the entire restaurant was filthy, with trays lying around everywhere and leftover food on the tables. By far the worst fast-food restaurant I've visited in ages.

I wanted to buy something from the menu but someone said I would only get one but a great employee gave me more thanks to him please manager don't fire him he's doing a great job!!!! I recommend it to collectors and children. Please ask nicely and maybe you'll get more.

Drive-in: something very “stuffy”. Food: Big Mac without sauce, without salad, chicken burger too. Second star only for the speed and the fact that the fries were warm for once! Update: 04/23/25 Ordered from Lieferando. Food arrived after 2 hours and was cold!

Burger only tasted like pepper. Was cold also cold. The staff was unfriendly and the tables weren't cleaned. No terminals to order.

The food was cold and tasted stale. Since there are no ordering kiosks, you have to order from the staff at the counter, like before. Furthermore, you can't redeem the points you collect in the app??! What a shame...

It's one of the best McDonald's because it's just great. There are lots of tables, there was a game with a screen and the room smells wonderfully of citizens. Unfortunately it was raining outside and my hair got wet, but that's why I deducted one star. Employees a little suspicious. The prices are just like McDonald's. otherwise everything was great.

Always check the order for completeness. Rarely complete if you order "take away". So carry out the bags straight away and check them. You can complain on the phone and get it after the fact, but it rarely makes sense to go back on the same day. It's annoying when a big burger that you were looking forward to is missing. You want to eat it with the family and not sometime when you come over. Ordering via Lieferando was even worse. Not only was another big burger missing, you then get a receipt from Lieferando with the wrong phone number on it and at Lieferando you can almost only give feedback. The detailed report of the problem will be processed at some point. For me it's not about the €6.19 for a McRib, it's about the feeling of watching the rest of the family members eat. The employees on site are friendly, that has to be said.

Worst McDonald's in Freiburg. People are so ripped off there. Things at the checkout that you did not order are debited when paying by card. Half of the things you ordered are forgotten. The burgers are poorly prepared. The hygiene in the store leaves a lot to be desired. 2 mc Sundays for 10€ who are you kidding? This is also called fraud!!!!!!!!!

A McDonald’s without ordering terminals. Until now I didn't even know that these still existed. The whole process takes correspondingly longer because the employees have to ask everything and the customers sometimes don't know what exactly they want. Not much needs to be said about the food. Standard. No better or worse than any other McDonald’s.

The people who serve you don't know German. They don't know English. In Freiburg, all three stores had the same problem when placing the order. They don't have screens like in all of Germany. Total disappointment

The Mc Rip was horrible, no sauce on it, that seems to be common practice here. Another visitor also told me this. Waited for the shift manager for 10 minutes, showed him this, then he left the table completely overwhelmed and didn't show up again.

Standard Mac Donald's food wich it's the same everywhere so no complaints. But what it's terrible is then lack of hygiene of these breisach location restaurant. Napkins on the floor, soda on the floor even pee of kids on the floor with greasy tables and of course terrible toilets. I recomend to take away and don't eat inside . I hope my advice helps to get better!

You never get what you pay for here. Either something is forgotten despite the waiting time being not too short or is prepared incorrectly. I've definitely been here ten times in the last two years and every time I'm surprised how bad this location is.

Placed an order at this McDonalds for TakeAway. Upon delivery it turned out to be incomplete and incorrect (did not receive fries and burger not as requested). I bought a box of 20 St.Chicken McNuggets there with a voucher and ate exactly that for dinner at home last night. I didn't feel any deviation from the typical taste of this product and can say that it is one of my favorite McDonald's products. This morning I have the worst diarrhea in years. My explanation lies in the unsanitary habits of the staff - they were definitely not of local origin and clearly not distinguished by their clean appearance. When I bought it, I ignored these impressions, but it turned out to be a big mistake. I will remember not to shop at this McDonald's branch in the future.

I really like this Mc Donald’s. It’s open the hole night and often saved my as** from starving. The waiters were really nice but sometimes they hit me. Just the music in the Restaurant is so loud I couldn’t even heard the voice message I get from my 14 years old gf (i‘m 26). This I why I (German: meide) this restaurant. I regret spending my hole lunch break here and it was a big mistake EVERYTHING ELSE IS FINE

Honestly...I just want a damn McSmart menu with 2 chicken burgers and iced tea. And what are they giving me!?!? First, Sprite instead of iced tea and then cheese burger instead of chicken burger??? I bought a strawberry milkshake, to my surprise it looked quite pale and didn't taste like strawberries at all. The guy who helped me made me a new one, but it's completely the same. Another employee arrives and tells me that this is what a strawberry milkshake looks like and gestures with his hand for me to leave. Worst McDonalds experience in years! There are no order terminals or app orders in this MC, you have to order at the counter, no problem in itself, our service was unfriendly and disinterested. Special requests are not possible for the burgers. If everything isn't ready you won't get it and you have to wait at the front. The waiting time was long even though there were hardly any customers in the restaurant The food itself was the usual McDonald’s quality.

In 2024 a McDonald's with no limit to order is nonsense from team members who understand nothing and the ultimate.. no game for the children!!! On Google they show us a play area but it is closed, non-existent!!! never seen that, a McDonald's without a game air, it's nonsense, we're at McDonald's or not!!! 😡 In short, I don't recommend this McDonald's and I won't go again!

Unfortunately struggling with extreme gastrointestinal issues for the second time after eating there. Should have known better. Had a menu with Big Mäc + Royal TS and fries/Cola. In both burgers the lettuce was completely soggy and the burger bread was no longer soft but much too crispy. Both indicate that the burgers and salad were simply heated up again...Result: stomach pain, nausea and vomiting!!! Thanks for NOTHING and for the second time!!!!! Hopefully there will be an inspection soon! - Not like that!
