McDonald's in Freiburg im Breisgau

Unfortunately no plant-based burgers in the range, only nuggets. I've never experienced that before and of course it's very annoying when you drive off the motorway.

It is forbidden to order at the checkout. Unfriendly and overwhelmed.

Fries super dry and greasy at the same time?! Until now I've always had the same fries all over the world. That was a premiere! Burger that shouldn't have tomato (checked again in "Extra requests") had tomato on it. Sprite was probably empty of syrup, that can happen. Instead, just mezzo was requested. On the first try I was offered cola with iced tea. Oh well. It worked on the third try. Everything was dirty. Absolutely not recommended.

Attention vegan and vegetarian people!! We ordered the only vegetarian dish (McPlant Nuggets), the burger isn't available, and we got meat nuggets. An outrageous impudence that we unfortunately only noticed when we ate it and compared it with other nuggets. Better eat somewhere else!

So I found it quite creepy here. I live nearby but I don't know if I'll set foot here again. The fries tasted absolutely disgusting, as if they were still raw inside. The burger buns tasted a bit burnt. So I know McDonald's quality differently/better. And you have to do everything yourself. If you don't know your way around these ordering terminals (similar to Deutsche Bahn's ticket machines), you'll initially look like a fool and perhaps embarrass yourself. Thank God I managed it somehow. 😂

When you order 6 nuggets for an astonishing price of 6€ you’d expect to actually receive them. That was not the case. Make sure to check your bag for all your items before you go back on the highway.

A really outrageous rest stop, everything is dirty and I don't need to talk about the food. Fries whiter than Swiss cheese a pure disaster. BIC Mac which is the main course was not even cooked through and sour! Of course it's just my opinion but the food is not recommended + no German had to communicate in English and maybe only 3 employees in the shop. SNOW WORK!

My “visit to McDonald’s once a quarter” is usually during/after a trip on the highway. Unfortunately, this branch is underground. No vegetarian offering except plant nuggets. Very unfriendly employees. Much smaller portions of fries than usual (normal menu) - and not really cooked. Really a shame to go.

The staff almost falls asleep. There is a huge queue waiting for your food, but we still work at a snail's pace behind the counter. The tables are all dirty. Just bad here 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Half of the unoccupied tables are dirty. The entire staff barely speaks German (including the shift leader) There is no catering surface here. There are only 2 order lines which meant we had to wait almost 20 minutes before we could even place the order. Flying everywhere the eye can see No recommendation for this restaurant

Disastrous McDonald's, the service is a complete disaster, I don't know what it was but usually an arrogant Turk crossed with a German who thinks he is a pure German!!! why do such people go to work when they don't want to work!!! They serve frozen food to people without any problems!!!! Be careful what you consume there. They are just ruining McDonald's name, they need to send an inspection of the food they serve to people. I had to spit it out!!!

It's terrible what's going on here. The staff is completely unmotivated and works slower than a turtle in reverse gear. Mannometer, what's that supposed to be? What has remained of the German work quality? Our specialists are probably just in the mood. The frame of the Retuour tableware is overflowing. There is rubbish lying around in front of McDonalds. Nobody cares about anything here. Everything neglected.

The staff was overwhelmed with about 3 orders, couldn't cope anymore and a colleague then took a break. I would say it works :D

A citizen eating fries in the morning? Because there's no breakfast at 10:30 a.m. on the weekend, that's not possible.

Efficient service and quick to deliver, manned by one person at the counter, unlike in a McDonald along a highway that we were in in France. Otherwise, standard Mickey Ds food. You've never experienced anything like this before. Food, ice cold, instead of Fanta you get Cola with no straws. No toys in stock and then you have to let the staff talk to you strangely. The tables dirty. The fries lukewarm. At the next table the Monopoly stickers had already been pulled down. The fact that McDonald's doesn't intervene here is a catastrophe. And I won't even get started on hygiene rules in Corona times. And there was nothing going on. No queue, no customers, no mega holiday wave. Pure comedy...

The fries were cold and felt like they had been there for a while, as there were hardly any customers in the rest stop. The dining area was closed, so you had to eat in the restaurant at the rest stop.

Der Mitarbeiter aß und trank während er uns bediente. Die Pommes waren verbrannt. Was eigentlich garnicht geht. Dreckige Fingernägel. Einfach Furchtbar. Cola hatte nur Geschmack und keine Kohlensäure. Küchenboden voller Essensreste. Mülleimer im Sichtbereich total überladen. Sowas kennt man von dem Franchise nun wirklich nicht. Absolut meiden. !!!!!!

Clean restaurant, fast service, regular McDonalds food. Perfectly located: stopped here on our way to the Netherlands.

A McDonald's that I probably wouldn't go to again. Cleanliness top Friendliness, no idea, the service doesn't speak to the customer. Only calls numbers. Provision of the goods depends on the fun factor in the kitchen. E.g. Interestingly, the cashier suddenly runs into the kitchen and hits his colleagues. Apparently friendly. The lady who was also “working” there also walked back and forth without a plan. It would have been more important that the food served wasn't scattered wildly in the box because you don't pack a burger upright in a box and something like a cheeseburger would have been completely wrapped in the paper. It would also have been great if the food was hot and not just lukewarm. But there are other branches for that. I will avoid this one and save my money or spend it somewhere else.

Ein kleiner aber feiner McDonalds. Der Filialleiter, der auf den ersten Moment etwas Angsteinflösend wirkt, ist ein sehr netter und kinderfreundlicher Mensch. Alles in allem, ein guter McDonalds

Sono stata a fine dicembre 2023 ma ricordavo molto bene di esserci stata diverse volte anche prima, felice di trovare sempre il burger plant based. Purtroppo è stato tolto dla menù e ci sono i nuggets plant based, che però non possono sostituire un panino! Peccato.

Jedzonko typu fastfood, mało zdrowe ale jak głodnyś to zajadasz jakby potrawy miały gwiazdki Michelin.

Appart normaal speeltuintje met gras veldje en twee bankjes. Niet zoon standaard MC Donalds glijbaan.

Normaler McDonalds aber Automaten haben leider nicht funktioniert

Dreckige Außenbereich. Essen war frisch zubereitet und noch heiß.

Extrem unfreundlich, kaum deutsch. Unhöflichkeit wird großgeschrieben. Dreckige Bekleidung.

Personal kann nicht gut eigentlich kein Deutsch sprechen. Der Café hat nicht geschmeckt und deshalb haben wir ihn zurückgegeben und darauf hingewiesen, dies mal weiterzugeben. Daraufhin haben wir zu hören bekommen, dass wir doch in einen anderen Laden gehen und uns dort einen Café holen sollen 🙁☕️

Essen: Ok aber deutlich schlechtere Qualität als in der Schweiz. Service: Katastrophal. Zwei Herren die in einer mir unbekannten Sprache rumbrüllen. Meine Frage ob ich einen Trinkhalm bekomme wurde mit einem wütenden Gesicht und einem Wort einer mir unbekannten Sprache beantwortet. Ambiente: Sehr sehr viele Fliegen.

Essen war ok, McDonalds halt, positiv aufgefallen sind die knackigen frischen Zwiebeln. Die Mitarbeiter am Tresen waren sehr freundlich. Nicht verstanden hab ich, das es keine Süß-sauer Soße mehr gab und dass man das erst nach der Bestellung und der Zahlung erfährt. Ambiente: Für eine Raststätte in Ordnung.

Das Essen war nicht warm genug.

Es ist halt MC Donalds auf einer Raststätte. Die Erfindung das man sich das Essen auf einem Toutsch Schirm bestellt kostet nur Zeit wie ich finde. Die Rechner haben so wenig Leistung das man nicht genau weiß hat er es jetzt oder nicht. Das Essen kennt jeder und muss selbst entscheiden ob er es kauft.

The fries were soggy, like they had been fried hours ago. Coffee is insipid. Not good at all, even at Mcdonald standards. Dog friendly.

Habe wiedermal das falsche bekommen...die Bildschirme dürften auch ab und zu mal gereinigt werden...vielleicht würden sie fettfrei besser funktionieren.

Maten er standard junk-food, men man får akkurat det man forventer. Maten kom raskt, og burgeren var varm. Hadde behov for å lade mobil, men det var vanskelig.

Slowest fast food ypu can imagine. They don't take orders directly on counter, only on screens and they have two screens. On highway at lunchtime in main season just ridiculous.... there are a lot of empty tables cause everybody is standing in the line to order

This place is horrible, the staff is unfriendly. The food is cold and seemingly old. The taste of the french fries and burgers were the worst and we even decided to throw it away. The milkshakes were tasteless, it felt like drinking a sugar bomb. An absolute NO for this restaurant, don't go here.
