Quaint restaurant near the banks of the Elbe with a nice atmosphere. Great ambience, lovely service and very tasty food. The food comes to the table very quickly and is ready to be enjoyed. I had Dresden Sauerbraten and I have to say that these are the best dumplings I have eaten!!!

Ate outside for four on weekdays! It's very nice to sit with a view of the market! Fully occupied on the outside, almost empty on the inside! The place is much bigger inside than you think and the atmosphere is nice too! We had a new, young, nice waiter who took drinks and food and both came quite quickly and always had a quick comment from him, which wasn't annoying! My broad beans with fried breaded belly were great and my colleagues had nothing to complain about! The stock market left us with a very good impression! The price is also totally okay!!!

Schöne Location mit gemütlichen Wintergarten! Die vegetarischen Gerichte ein wenig lieblos/einfallslos, die Fleischgerichte sahen besser aus. Service war in Ordnung ohne außergewöhnlich zu sein. Aber insgesamt eine schöne Location mit gutbürgerlicher Küche.

We ate there twice within 2 weeks. The dishes we tried were all very tasty and attractively presented. The wine list is very extensive. We also liked the ambience and the service. We would be happy to come back if we stay in Schwerin again.

After cycling 80 km through bad weather, we settled down in this Stube. Just what we needed: a fantastic goulash soup!

I was a guest at a wedding and the ceremony was a disaster because of this location. We sometimes had to wait an hour for the drinks, if we got them at all. If you politely pointed this out to the waiter, you would be barked at. The upper rooms were not at all suitable for 30 people, you had to get on your knees to get under the sloping roof to reach your seat. The three-course menu was subpar, the groom was the last to receive his soup (after 30 minutes!). The rest of the organization was also a disaster. My husband and I ordered the same main course and received our food within an hour, but only after I had asked twice (and was snapped at again by the waiter) and ultimately the groom was under pressure has made. Allergies were not taken into account and the entire food was anything but tasty. I've never had such a nasty roast beef before, and the other guests didn't like the cheese spaetzle either. The pikeperch was said to have been good. We also cleared some of the plates ourselves because the service couldn't keep up. If I had been in the bride and groom's shoes, I definitely wouldn't have paid the agreed price. I've never experienced anything so bad before. But the rooms themselves are quite nice.

The 38th Bremen Carnival took place, unfortunately the staff was overwhelmed as it was extremely full. Nevertheless, they were very nice and accommodating.

We were there for dinner on October 18th, 2024 from noon onwards for Elvira's 94th birthday. We felt very comfortable and the food was also very good. The waiter was absolutely attentive. We would love to come back. Uwe

2 years ago I was still enthusiastic, now the service is well, they don't make the same effort anymore, food came with a long delay for only 2 dishes, the side salad came at the end of the meal, a shame

Horrible kitchen, broken dishes, freezing cold because the door was wide open. Food smelled and was rotten. After the complaint, the neck steak was barely cooked through. My portion of fish was barely to be found on the plate. As Bremen, we have different memories of the restaurant. Never again!!!

Delicious apple strudel and great schnitzel

HORRIBLE ! It can happen that a meal is bad, but when a polite request ends in an unbelievable rude statement of the waitress and the menace to call the police I can only warn to enter this establishment. I recommend to walk a few steps further and enjoy a visit at Horchem’s Restaurant.

It's a nice place but not busy and has issues with staffing. Food is superb
