I find the atmosphere at Down To Earth absolutely wonderful. There are few restaurants in Cologne with so much charm: very cozy. Everyone who works there was very friendly.
The food was deliciously seasoned and beautifully presented.

After strolling through the Christmas market, we went for Lebanese food. The restaurant is quite new and tastefully decorated. The service was very attentive and friendly. We had well-seasoned lentil salad as a starter and hummus with lamb, heart, liver, and a special salad. The nice thing about it is being able to share the dishes. We finished with Lebanese coffee. A very pleasant experience.
The rump steak was tender as butter, even cooked medium-well (as I requested)! The cheese bomb and triple burger were top-notch! Great service! It won't be the last time! 👍👍

The team works with palpable passion. Maurizio, the head chef, shapes this place with his impressive precision while also taking the time to personally engage with the guests. This blend of professionalism and warmth makes the evening truly special. Equally outstanding is sommelier Tobias, who impresses with his meticulous attention to detail and a superbly curated wine list. His selection perfectly reflects the attention to detail and the clear vision of the entire concept.

The staff are incredibly friendly, and everything is very fresh. The doner kebab is made in-house, so it's not some frozen stuff from a wholesaler. Fun fact: when you order, they call out your first name. The reviews speak for themselves and reflect the carefully prepared Turkish delicacies. A visit here is definitely worthwhile.
