Ich kann es jedem empfehlen, der Schwerin besucht. Freundliches Personal und hervorragendes Essen. Eine vorherige Reservierung ist jedoch empfehlenswert.

Fabelhaft hier gewesen zu sein. Hervorragende Speisen zu angemessen Preisen, netter Service.

Habe heute aufgrund der guten Bewertungen hier das Martins aufgesucht und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Ich habe ein Lübecker Schnitzel gegessen. Das Fleisch war super zart, das Spiegelei perfekt gebraten, Pommes sehr gut, selbst der Beilagen Salat hat wie bei meiner Mutter geschmeckt. Bedienung ist flott und sehr zuvorkommend. Das Henninger Bier aus einer kleinen Handwerksbrauerei ist phantastisch. Habe im gemütlichen Hinterhofbiergarten gesessen. Unbedingt besuchen, wenn ihr in Schwerin seid.

So deutsch wie nur möglich. Super charmante ältere Damen kümmern sich um den Service. Ausgezeichneter Sakad und Hamburger Schnitzel. Jeden Cent wert. Hennings Pils ist sehr gut. Lassen Sie sich nicht von der schlichten Fassade täuschen :-)

Das Ambiente war toll, auch wenn es nicht gerade leise im Lokal war. Das Essen war sehr lecker nur leider viel zu wenig für den Preis, auch wenn es nette aussah. Die Preise für Getränke sind nicht ohne. Haben für einen Eierlikör, der nicht wirklich lecker war, 5,50 € bezahlt.

Ehrlicherweise komme ich seit Jahren her, habe es aber bislang versäumt, mal eine Bewertung dazulassen. Ich, aus Aachen kommend, bin seit ca. acht Jahren beruflich in Schwerin unterwegs und habe mich direkt in „Das Martins“ verliebt. Nicht nur super freundlich, sondern auch absolut authentisch und traditionspflegend. Service, sowie Küche absolut klasse. Ich wünschte, es gäbe mehr davon bundesweit. Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn: Absolut empfehlenswert und Ihr seid praktisch schon die Rechtfertigung, um den langen Weg mach Schwerin anzutreten! ;)

Ich wollte gestern Abend spontan dort spontan einkehren. Ich kam gleichzeitig mit einem einzelnen Herrn. Wir sahen gleich, überall stand reserviert... Nach ganz kurzer Bedenkzeit bekamen wir beide einen eigenen Tisch. Richtig toll. Das Ambiente edel, ruhig... ich saß im rechten Raum. Die Servicedamen aufgeschlossen, freundlich. Das Essen war köstlich. Hausmannskost in Edelstahl. Ich kann es nur empfehlen, dort mal zu speisen.. Reservierung wäre angebracht. Es gibt Thementage neben der festen Speisekarte und saisonale Angebote.

Tolles Restaurant mit leckeren Essen und sehr netter Bedienung

Dieses Restaurant ist ein echter Geheimtipp in Schwerin. Das Essen ist frisch, geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Man spürt die Tradition und Leidenschaft, die in jedem Gericht stecken. Die Atmosphäre ist warm und entspannt, und man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Hier stimmt einfach alles, vom Service bis zur Qualität. Definitiv ein Ort, den ich immer wieder besuchen werde.

Ich weiß nicht, wann ich das letzte Mal so schön Essen war. In diesem Restaurant passt einfach alles. Wir waren heute das erste Mal dort und sind begeistert. Das Ambiente ist so gemütlich, die Bedienung so lieb und das Essen so lecker. Das Gefühl war ein bisschen wie damals, als man nach längerer Zeit wieder zu den Eltern nach Hause kam und von Mutti bekocht wird. Einfach nur schön. Wenn wir das nächste Mal wieder in Schwerin sind, werden wir dort auf jeden Fall wieder Essen gehen.

Endlich komme ich mal dazu. Wir waren am 29. August 2025 hier um Martins und wir hatten einen richtig tollen Aufenthalt im Restaurant Das Martins. Die Atmosphäre ist wunderbar. Sowohl drinnen als auch draußen. Selbst der leichte Regen war kein Problem, denn die Markise wurde einfach ausgefahren. Die Chefin und das gesamte Team sind unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und wohl. Das Essen war ein echtes Highlight: Der Matjes mit einer Vinaigrette aus Feigensenf war eine wahre Geschmacksexplosion! Auch das Bauernfrühstück war super lecker. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns auch, dass wir beim Bier kompetent beraten wurden. So haben wir uns für das Hennings entschieden, was perfekt gepasst hat. Alles in allem ein rundum gelungener Besuch mit fantastischem Essen und herzlicher Gastfreundschaft. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Urige Kneipe mit tollem Service, Essen und Trinken top!

Wir haben einen gemütlichen Abend in Das Martins verbracht. Das etwas kauzige Ambiente erzeugt eine besondere Atmosphäre. An den Nachbartischen wurde Karten gespielt und insgesamt wirkt der Gastraum beim Eintreten gleich gemütlich und es hat etwas von von wohlfühliger Wohnzimmeratmosphäre. Die Speisen wurden schnell geliefert. Explizit erwähnenswert ist der Salat auch als Beilage: Ganz große Küche, frisch knackig, mit kreativen Dressings und hervorragender Präsentation. Zu meinem Matjes garniert mit Himbeeren und Kirschsoße, muss ich sagen, dass dies eine hervorragende Geschmackskombination darstellt. Überrascht und begeistert lautet mein Resümee. Dass der Service nett und auf zack war, rundet den positiven Eindruck unseres Besuch von Das Martins ab

The food was impeccable, no matter what anyone ordered – you should definitely try the daily specials – be adventurous and try something different like salmon in a jar, Königsberger Klopse (meatballs), etc. – all four of us were very satisfied 👍🏻 The only reason for the one point deduction – which is unavoidable – was the noise level…

Absolutely recommended. A truly unique and charming place. I go there every time there's space. I've been going for years. The food is fresh, even the side salad is delicious – more than just tomato and cucumber. The service is always friendly, even when it's packed, which is practically always the case. Despite the crowds, they always have a kind word and are attentive. It's like being among friends. Everyone receives a warm welcome.

We were on a little girls' trip to Schwerin and stumbled upon "Das Martins" unplanned! We were warmly welcomed from the start. We had a lovely table on the terrace. All the staff, including the chef, were extremely friendly. The schnitzel and fish, as well as the side dishes (fried potatoes), were fresh, well-seasoned, and delicious. 😋 Our expectations were definitely exceeded. Great value for money, and the staff were friendly. We had a wonderful afternoon and lovely conversations! We'd love to come back.

You should definitely make a reservation in advance. We came spontaneously and were lucky enough to snag two spots. The food was plentiful and delicious. The service was friendly, too. There was nothing to complain about. We'd be happy to go back.

A real highlight in Schwerin – Martins! We visited here for the first time and were thrilled. The food was simply fantastic – fresh, creative, and made with a lot of love. I had the "Kati" burger – juicy, perfectly seasoned, and simply mouth-watering. My wife had the "Charli" meatballs, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside – exactly how they should be. The service was super friendly and attentive; you immediately felt welcome. The ambiance is modern, cozy, and has just the right atmosphere for a relaxed evening. The value for money here is also absolutely spot on – you get quality you can taste, and at fair prices. In short: Martins is one of those restaurants where everything just works. If you want to eat well in Schwerin, you should definitely stop by!

Martins has been a place for cozy, good food for many years. The menu is regularly updated, and there's also a small selection of vegetarian dishes. The traditional cuisine has been made even more interesting and varied with sophisticated variations, and isn't overly overwhelming. There's also a very good selection of drinks. The service is always very friendly and helpful, and they also offer good suggestions if you can't decide. The dining room isn't that big, but it's ideal for a small, cozy gathering. In summer, the small courtyard can also be used. Overall, it's very family-friendly and never disappoints. Martins is only open Monday to Friday, and on some days they also offer special traditional dishes. It's best to check in advance whether you'd like to try any of them and choose a day accordingly. We always enjoy coming back, and have been for many years.

We were able to reserve a table at short notice and even arrived half an hour early. Despite that, the owner managed to get us a wonderful table in the courtyard. A very pleasant evening at the cozy Das Martins in Schwerin's city center. The courtyard garden is highly recommended! Original menu, and it's nice that the team also accommodates special requests. Card payments are accepted here, of course. Afterward? The city center and the castle are within walking distance, a lovely stroll there.

Martins is a quaint, traditional Schwerin inn, located on a side street, serving good, home-style cooking. The service is friendly, and you immediately feel welcome. The food isn't outstanding, but it's simple and good. Some dishes, like Königsberger Klopse, are only available on certain days, which I find a shame. The clientele is mostly senior citizens; at 57, I felt rather young here!

I'm there every time I'm in Schwerin. And have never been disappointed! Whether pork knuckle or schnitzel - they can do it easily. The service is always top! I was there six months ago with my mother and now again with my boyfriend and I was simply recognized. So cute! And you can even buy souvenirs for €2 - it goes into the owner's grandson's pocket money account ;)

This evening we were once again at “DAS MARTINS” for the legendary Eisbein dinner. 4 people = 3x "Max" approx. 800g and 1x "Lilly" means pulled pork knuckle without rind/fat. Plus pea puree with crispy bacon cubes, sweet sauerkraut and optionally potatoes. It was really, really good. We would like to thank the whole MARTINS team for the lovely evening and will be back very soon! Our tip>>> reserve in good time!!

The boss and her team welcome every guest with exceptional friendliness. You can immediately feel that a well-rehearsed team with real passion is at work here.
