Fantastic lamb, tender, soft and subtly seared, highly recommended 👌🏻

The restaurant's location is very nice, right on the lake. The service was okay, although you sometimes had to wait a bit to be seen. The food was okay; the schnitzel was a bit dry, and the zander with market vegetables...the vegetables were too soft; I would have expected something fresh and crispy.

We had ice cream sundaes and espresso macchiatos. The coffee was good, but the strawberry sundae only had vanilla ice cream alongside a waffle cone, whipped cream, and strawberries, which was a bit of a shame. Nevertheless, everything was attractive and tasty, and the café's facade and the bust of a chick are charming.

We were quite disappointed here. The food didn't live up to the price. The meat was completely dry, as if it had been reheated twice, and the sauce tasted of nothing, as did the side dish. A bitter disappointment. For the price, we expected more.

We stopped by for a late-lunch cuppa. Friendly and attentive staff, and delicious cake. But the location is worth the price...

Great location. Unfortunately, the service was very subpar. Drinks were served slowly or not at all. The food was lukewarm, and simple fries were completely overcooked. Our friendly feedback went unanswered. Accordingly, we didn't leave a tip. It's a shame.

Unfortunately, the reception and table assignment by a member of staff were not friendly. The menus were stacked on the table. We didn't really feel welcome as guests later in the evening. We had a similar experience at this establishment about three years ago and were disappointed again. The restaurant is rated as having an upscale ambiance, but the service and table setting don't live up to it. We will not be returning to this establishment.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated very well by the waitress and waiter on duty. The food was very good and tasty. The dishes were regional, very tasty, with a good quantity and excellent quality. The decor is classic and elegant. The background music is cozy and relaxing. If I have the chance, I will return. I definitely recommend it.

We had the table directly behind the door (room on the left). Unfortunately, I and my chair were repeatedly jostled by many guests on the way to the toilet and the waitresses. Eating out is really no fun!! Unfortunately, the food didn't meet our expectations, but we are very easy-care people. There were three of us and we all had the wrong vegetable side dishes. We didn't have any special requests, we ordered exactly as it was written on the menu. All the same sauce, no differences despite different dishes. I found the prices to be reasonable given the portion size, just too expensive.

Are in Schwerin 2-3 times a year and not without a visit to Friedrichs. This is great after strolling through the pedestrian zone Always stop locally for a break. Great location, rustic atmosphere, very nice service and we had an extremely good rosé wine with our delicious meal. Looking forward to our next visit.

Cream sauce doesn't go well with grilled meat. Herb butter was delivered quickly upon request. Beef was less than medium rare. 1/2 duck, red cabbage and dumplings served on a plate that was way too small. Dry wild boar roast.

A really stylish place to look at. Unfortunately, the operation clearly leaves points behind. Service doesn't match the price. Drinks were not requested. Reordered dishes took a very long time. To eat, The fillet medallions were tasty, but quite dry. The pikeperch was good, cooked a bit overcooked. The duck burger is a good option.

We ate there twice within 2 weeks. The dishes we tried were all very tasty and attractively presented. The wine list is very extensive. We also liked the ambience and the service. We would be happy to come back if we stay in Schwerin again.

The service is extremely nice and accommodating, the ambience is also nice to look at, but let's come to the most important thing, the food: The food is very good, I have rarely eaten in a restaurant where every dish has been perfected, plus the prices are more than pleasing for an upscale kitchen. Overall, the best restaurant in Schwerin so far!

I recently visited Friedrichs Restaurant after calling ahead to ask if kale was served. I was assured by a member of staff that this was the case. However, when we arrived for our reservation we were suddenly informed that this dish was not offered, which was very disappointing. Nevertheless, we decided to stay and ordered from the menu. The food was okay, but the overall experience was quite strange. The atmosphere in the restaurant was extremely quiet and almost sacred, which made the experience somewhat unpleasant. I like to laugh out loud, especially when I'm having a fun conversation with my girlfriend, but after I laughed a few times, the waitress came to me and said that I wasn't alone in the restaurant. That really irritated me because for me laughter is a positive thing. If you like having lively conversations and laughing, this might not be the place for you. The atmosphere is more suitable for those who prefer a very quiet and low-key dining experience.

I always had a very good impression of the store...until today. I asked the waiter outside if I could please use the toilet. He was very friendly and said it would be fine. When I went in, the restaurant manager pointed out to me in a very unfriendly and direct way that the toilet could only be used by guests. Since it was so urgent, I even offered her 3 euros. She then said in a very derogatory tone that I should take my money and leave the store. Very, very bad service, I am honestly disappointed and will not eat here again in the future. Too bad

Yes, the food took a while and the staff was sometimes a bit overwhelmed. But at least it wasn't a stylish restaurant from any chain. But authentic, well-cooked and original dishes. Great location too, so everything was great. One point deducted for the long waiting time, but it wasn't really a problem for us (on vacation). Staff does their best, super nice.

The food was very tasty, but there is little choice for children. This wasn't a problem for us, but it's something you should know if you're traveling with small children. The service was great and the ambience only suffered because the space on the balcony was simply too tight for 5 people.

Very cozy café with a view of the Pfaffenteich. We sat on the balcony. There is also an outdoor area. The food was very good - we had the Friedrichs burger and asparagus with potatoes. I would go here again 😊

Found it by chance because of the asparagus advertisement. Very nice place in the evening sun in the outside loggia. The grill plate was excellent. Everything on point. What the others had was tempting to snack on. Special requests: No problem! Great location with a view of the Pfaffenteich! Very friendly, unobtrusive waiters. If you're ever in Schwerin, definitely go in!

Thank you for the lovely evening. We were there on March 31, 2024 and got a table for 5 p.m. We made the reservation by email. The service and food were very good. Thank you very much and we will definitely come back soon.

Very long waiting time to order, a completely overwhelmed waiter who also didn't think it was necessary to clear empty tables on the way back, so there were dirty glasses and/or coffee dishes everywhere. Nothing to feel good about.

Unfortunately a failure. The atmosphere is pleasantly “old school” and the service is very nice, but what good is that if the chef doesn’t know his job. The rump steak was ordered medium rare and was completely cooked through, making it tough and difficult to cut with a knife, actually inedible. The beef liver was cut into strips, probably to remove tendons, in principle very commendable. But unfortunately it was also completely overcooked and therefore bone dry. I wonder why a chef would allow such food to be served. He must have certainly noticed what condition the food was in. It can only be a total disregard for the guest who is being treated to these dishes. There are two stars because of the passable fried potatoes, perhaps he used all his skills on this part. It's commendable that the waitress actually didn't want to charge for the food. But that wouldn't have saved the evening and I paid anyway. It's a shame, it used to be much better.

I stopped here for lunch today for the first time in many years. I was extremely impressed by the service and the quality of the food. The price-performance ratio is reasonable. Follow-up visits are not excluded. Lovely again.

The 1/2 duck was dry and not seasoned properly/at all. The paddy from the duck burger was also dry. There was no response from the waiter to our criticism.

Ich hatte ein schöneres Ambiente erwartet. Bistro Tische passen für mich nicht. Personal machte einen gestressten Eindruck. War aber sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Leider waren alle 3 Fleischsorten von meinem Grillteller ganz durch.

Experiência ótima. Serviço acolhedor e muito acima da média comparado com vários outros restaurantes que já conheci na Alemanha. Comida muito saborosa e bem servida. Meus pais já tinham ido em 2019 e adoraram, voltaram agora em 2023 comigo e a boa impressão de 4 anos atrás se manteve.

Das Essen ist mega lecker. Leider waren wir etwas spät da (21uhr). Es gab leider nicht alle Gerichte was ich verstehen kann auf'n Montag vor dem Feiertag. Service gibt sich viel Mühe. Ich ich bedenkenlos weiter empfehlen.

Viele ältere negative Bewertungen gelesen. Aber seit einigen Wochen nur positive Bewertungen gelesen. Heute mit vier Personen gebucht, tolles Ambiente, sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal und der Kracher die interessante Auswahl an Speisen. Preis-Leistung TOP. Gute Portionen zum Satt werden. Klare Empfehlung im Friedrich's vorbei zu schauen.

Работал в этом ресторане совсем недавно. Постоянная текучка кадров. В плане сервиса скажу честно, профессионального подхода к работе у персонала так и не увидел, так же как честного отношения к сотрудникам у руководства рестораном. Нет эллементарных понятий скажем так руководства заведением, уже молчу о организационных вопросах и документальных и техники безопасности на рабочем месте. В плане меню ничего особенного чтобы меня удивило нет. Стандартный набор блюд. Очень маленький выбор десертов. Место и помещение само по себе хорошее , но раду ему дать люди так и не могут нормально. Очень жаль..... , а мог бы быть хорошим рестораном , если бы им руководили компетентные в этой сфере люди, а не делающие вид компетентных. Надеюсь когда - нибудь возможно это место станет достойным называтся рестораном. Пока что тянет больше на уровень кафэшки периферийного городка, но не ресторана.

Restaurant direkt am Pfaffenteich in Schwerin. Freundliches und schnelles Personal. Reservierung zu empfehlen, man kann sowohl drinnen als auch draußen sitzen. Die Inneneinrichtung ist nicht so spektakulär. Speisen werden frisch zubereitet und heiß serviert. Portionen könnten etwas größer sein. Regionale Gerichte, die Zubereitung könnte etwas besonderer sein. Zahlung in bar und per Karte möglich. Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis noch gut.

Essen ist solide , ebenso der Service. Zu empfehlen um einen netten Abend zu verbringen.

Die Kellner waren völlig überfordert und nach der Bestellungsaufnahme wurde zweimal nachgefragt, was wir denn bestellt hätten. Besteck wurde erst nach dem Servieren auf Nachfrage an den Tisch gebracht. Das Essen war in Ordnung, die Portionen jedoch recht klein und in keinem Fall preislich angemessen (12,50€ für drei kleine Schweinemedaillons als Extra zu Nudeln für 17,90€ sind eine Frechheit). Beim Bezahlen nannte der Kellner den falschen Preis, was durch mich nach einem Blick auf die Rechnung korrigiert wurde. Wir werden nicht wiederkommen.

Hatte einen Cappuccino bestellt und einen Kaffee erhalten, Kellner meinte, erhätte das wohl falsch verstanden...berechnet wurde dann aber der Cappuccino. Für ein Stückchen Blechkuchen mit der Größe ca. 3x8 cm, sind 4,50 € deutlich zuviel.

Es war wieder ein genießer Tag für mich , gerade wenn man auf der kleinen Terrasse sitzen kann , den Blick zum Pfaffenteich.

Très bel endroit avec une cuisine goûteuse

Ich war heute im Restaurant Friedrich Essen. Knusprige Schnitzel mit Pommes und einen kleinen Salat. Das zweite Essen war ein Staek mit Bratkartoffeln und Speckbohnen. Das Schnitzel war ohne jegliche Soße, die Pommes trocken. Meine Bratkartoffeln schwammen in Öl und die Speckbohnen verdienen auch nicht ihren Namen. Im großen und ganzen ist das Restaurant Friedrich nicht mehr das was es mal war. Nicht Empfehlenswert!!!
