The Essbar. Our regular haunt for years. Always good, fresh food. Our second living room. Today we had crispy pork neck with pumpkin puree from the specials menu and a crispy chicken burger. Service was attentive and friendly, as always. If you haven't eaten here yet, you're missing out. See you next time. 😉

Very good food at fair prices. The ambiance is that of a typical clubhouse, meaning there are certainly restaurants that feel more cozy. Nevertheless, the seating is very comfortable, and it's clean and well-maintained. The service is generally very good, although we did once sit outside and had to ask for attention several times. It was unusually busy that day, and there seemed to be a shortage of staff. But these things can happen.

We discovered the EssBar when we moved nearby. Since our first visit, we've regularly enjoyed the delicious dishes (we haven't had a single dish we didn't like) and the exceptionally friendly and attentive service. From the time you place your order to the time your food and drinks arrive, it's a breeze, and you're always discreetly asked if you have any further requests. The menu is small, but caters to every taste. There are also seasonal menus, such as chanterelle mushroom dishes, pumpkin dishes, and more. The EssBar belongs to the tennis club, and you can watch the athletes train on the wraparound terrace. The prices are more than justified for the high quality. Today we paid €80 for a substantial appetizer platter for two people, two beef and cheese burgers with fries/sweet potato fries, dips, three large beers, a Prosecco spritz, a wine spritzer, and two ouzos. The taste, quality, and staff were more than justified. A clear recommendation for this restaurant! If you don't try it, you're missing out.

On Friday I celebrated my birthday at the Essbar. Everything was great, from the food which tasted very good to the staff who were very attentive. Thank you very much, the Essbar is always recommended.

We've been to Essbar twice in one week, and each time it was a truly wonderful evening with delicious food (huge portions at more than fair prices), attentive service, and a pleasant ambiance. The restaurant has glass walls and is surrounded by a terrace with tables and seating. On sunny evenings, it's like being on vacation, even with delicious long drinks. Highly recommended!

No matter the location, it can only be a fun evening with the team and the boss. Went there on a recommendation and the next time is already planned! No photo because it's cool!

As always, it's super delicious. You can eat your way through the menu and everything tastes amazing. Super friendly staff and a very cozy atmosphere. The after-work party on Thursdays is also great, with a DJ and space to dance!

We were there for a birthday party with over 30 people. There was a buffet with a variety of dishes. The selection included vegetarian and meat dishes. The food was delicious and well prepared. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Good food at a reasonable price

We visited the 'Essbar' again today, and what can I say? It was another great experience! There was something for everyone, and everyone enjoyed their meal and left feeling full! The quality of the food, the service, and the short wait. Our special requests were accommodated, and we are simply very satisfied. I, not a fish eater, found the zander absolutely delicious and would actually order it myself next time. There was even a separate menu from which we could have ordered. We're always happy to go back! We'll be back 😍

We've been wanting to stop by for a long time because we've heard that the cuisine is very good. Had burgers and goat cheese with salad. Everything very good and fresh. As always, I was the first to try the fries. They were super crispy, which not everyone can achieve with sweet potato fries. Very satisfied and will definitely come back. Recommendations from friends are already out.

Nein danke! Nicht zu empfehlen. Küche eher Imbissniveau und das auch noch von der schlechteren Sorte. Alles in allem auch nicht sehr sauber. Absoluter Reinfall, wir kommen garantiert nicht wieder. Scheinbar sind diese 5 Sterne Bewertungen von guten Freunden oder so, nicht nachvollziehbar.

Schönes Lokal am Tennisplatz. Nicht nur für Tennisleute sondern das war auch ein schöner Abend für uns. Gemütliches familiäres Ambiente. Kleine Karte mit ausgewählten Speisen. Dazu gibt es eine Tageskarte. Da merkt man, dass der Koch sich Gedanken macht und Spaß am Kochen hat. . Wir haben köstlich gegessen. Alles war sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!!!

Wir waren schon häufig hier essen und es war jedes Mal super lecker. Alles ist frisch zubereitet und schmeckt sehr gut. Preise sind auch voll in Ordnung und der Inhaber sehr nett. Schnitzel und Burger sind sehr zu empfehlen und gerade die Beilagen Salate sind klasse 👍🏻

Hier wird mit viel Liebe gekocht. Gute Hausmannskost zum fairen Preis. Wir waren mit Freunden da. Jeder von uns hat etwas anderes gegessen ich hatte das Schnitzel mit Spargel und Rosmarin Kartoffeln. Das Schnitzel ist schön knusprig. Es gibt am Tennisclub draußen und drinnen Sitzplätze. In beiden Bereichen kann man auf den Platz gucken und so beim Training zuschauen. Wir kommen sicher gerne wieder.
