Nice location and nice terrace. Unfortunately, the service we received was not good. We got our meal, but after 10 minutes we had to ask where the bowl of salad was. It only came after the main meal had already been eaten. In addition, the toilets were very dirty. The fries with schnitzel were fine (also a large portion!) but the scampi pasta was very mediocre and not worth the money.
Small but nice. This not really hidden, but easy to miss gem in Berlin Tegel really enriched our Boxing Day. You can't really see the space offered inside from the outside. A rustic coziness quickly gets you in the mood. The really generous and tasty portions did the rest. In my case, juicy goose and duck meat with delicious side dishes (Martin plate) or the Swabian plate (Spätzle, Maultaschen, pork fillet, cream mushrooms). The service was always friendly and present. The prices are quite reasonable in the price/performance comparison.
The 38th Bremen Carnival took place, unfortunately the staff was overwhelmed as it was extremely full. Nevertheless, they were very nice and accommodating.
I was there for coffee and cake, was able to sit outside... I can't understand the negative reviews.
The selection of cakes was very good. The cake is baked fresh here every day.
Cappuccino/coffee was also of good quality.
The staff is super friendly.
Even though there was a lot going on in the nice weather, I was served quickly and courteously... as written here, I didn't have to wait forever for the bill.
Of course, it could take 5 minutes longer if there is a lot of demand in exceptionally nice weather.
The restaurant is beautifully located in Herrmann-Löns-Park. I can only recommend it.
Anyone who values good food... fresh home-baked cakes, etc. is in good hands here.
And quality, cleanliness, friendly staff, etc. comes at a price...but it's very reasonable.
If you're impatient... complaining about prices, service, etc.... I recommend a fast food restaurant in the city center.
2 years ago I was still enthusiastic, now the service is well, they don't make the same effort anymore, food came with a long delay for only 2 dishes, the side salad came at the end of the meal, a shame
Top cuisine, great service, known in the family for many years. It's very worth it, it's important to reserve a table, the Gielen couple, Edith l.v.d.Berg, we... stay healthy everyone in the new year 2025.
Went there spontaneously to eat. Despite having many reservations, we still got a seat at another table. The food was good and plentiful, the salad was very fresh. We didn't have to wait long for the food. As with everywhere in Monschau, it was a bit more expensive. Very attentive and friendly staff. Please note that no payment by credit card is possible, but you can use a normal EC card. Disabled-friendly toilet. Cozy and service-oriented shop. Recommended
Original and rustic furnishings. Service quick and attentive. The food was very tasty – prices were reasonable. Card payment possible (no debit card). A bit complicated for vegetarians.
We were there for a short stop and just wanted to fortify ourselves. From a purely gastronomic point of view, the business is no longer up to date. The young man who served us was very friendly. However, not on the ball. 25 minutes for 2 sodas, a wine and a shandy with a very manageable number of guests was a bit too long for us in the Plastik Ensemble beer garden.
The food came quite quickly. If, as in this case, you only prepare everything from the freezer in the deep fryer, it's immediately understandable. The prices seem too high for what is on offer.
Well, I thought it was good here, fantastic view of the Oberstdorf mountains, great terraces with plenty of seats.
Food delicious, conditions very friendly, price ok.
Was one of the few that were open at the beginning of April.
