Very good food at a fair price. The staff is also very friendly and attentive.

This was my second visit, and I have to say, the atmosphere was great. However, we were a bit disappointed with the food. The onion roast beef was okay, but definitely not worth the price. The salad plate with beef was good on my first visit, but unfortunately not so much yesterday (extremely acidic dressing and hardly any meat). The service was very friendly and attentive.

It's difficult for me to write a negative review; the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is nice. But the new owners really can't score points with the food. The salad plate tasted okay, but the coleslaw was definitely a pre-made product. The accompanying baguette was terrible—not even a par-baked baguette, but a dreadful pretzel stick, the likes of which I've never tasted before. My neighbor's schnitzel was a frozen ready-made product, with no breading whatsoever. Before I eat there again under these conditions, I'd rather have a cheese sandwich at home.

We went there for a family meal and unfortunately, we were all dissatisfied. The food was bland, poorly seasoned, and cheap, yet overpriced. Even the fries weren't good. It's a shame; you used to be able to eat well at the Posthalterhaus. The current owner is a complete disappointment. Even the pleasant atmosphere can't make up for the poor food.

Visually, not much has changed. But it still has a great atmosphere. The food was delicious, although the schnitzel could have been a bit less greasy. But it was still good. The service is incredibly friendly and they handle criticism well. A visit is definitely worthwhile.

The service was abysmal, with an unfriendly welcome. We had a long wait for food and drinks. There were 12 of us (we had a reservation). Some of the food was only lukewarm and arrived sporadically over the course of 60 minutes, making it impossible to eat together. One main course and a side salad never arrived. An appetizer was served with the main course. The waiter took the main course back and only brought it back after we asked several times. The plate was hot, but the food was cold. The food tasted mediocre at best. The staff barely bothered to visit our table. The cashier, who had also been unfriendly, should reconsider his career choice. He took our payment in an unfriendly tone, didn't thank us for the tip, and didn't ask if everything was alright. We probably won't be going back there.

We were just there for dinner with a group of seven. We were all very satisfied. The food was delicious and the portions were large. The atmosphere was lovely. We were served by two young men who were very friendly and easygoing. We'll be back.

Finally, a restaurant that offers vegan and vegetarian dishes! The food was very, very good. My father, a very discerning butcher, was very impressed with the meat, and that's saying something coming from him 😅. A young man served us; he was very friendly and attentive. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back.

The ambiance is very good. However, the food hasn't been nearly as good since the change of ownership. There's an extremely wide variety of dishes, from game and chicken to sausages. But you can taste that, apart from the salad, nothing is fresh. It's a real shame, as the premises are quite special. We won't be going back.

Overall, the visit was rather mediocre. The staff was clearly overwhelmed by the number of guests in our group (12 people). The first dish brought out hadn't been ordered by any of our guests. Dishes that should have been cooked through were, but unfortunately, so were dishes like the onion roast beef, which we had ordered medium. Several mistakes were made with the bill. One guest was charged more than they had actually paid and indicated during the payment process, and another guest's item was no longer available on the list. Initially, we were told it was fine, but five minutes later, the staff member, who first blamed the colleague who had handled the bill, rudely demanded immediate payment. The food itself arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was mostly good, with adequate portions. However, there is significant room for improvement in customer service and organizational processes. The restaurant wasn't fully booked during our visit, which would have justified the chaotic organization and customer handling.

We went there on Christmas Day to enjoy a cozy family lunch. Pros: No long waits for the food, even though several large groups were sitting in the restaurant. Free parking is available in the large parking lot behind the restaurant. You have to check in with the waiter, who then gives you a slip of paper to write your license plate number on. Cons: The waitress was clearly overwhelmed and needed several requests before all our orders were taken. Two people ordered roast beef with onions, which was not cooked satisfactorily (dry and tough). When taking payment, the waitress from the beginning had significant problems and had to call in a colleague. The colleague handled it quite quickly, but then one of the last guests wanted to pay for a dish that the waitress couldn't find in the system. As a gesture of goodwill, the guest went back to the waitstaff and was reprimanded for not paying for what he had eaten (the guest went back on his own initiative and made no attempt to leave the restaurant without paying). At home, we recalculated and discovered that a couple had also paid for the missing dish (one partner had also ordered the goulash; it was presumably ordered twice). All in all, in terms of value for money (apart from the cashier error), it was a solid choice. All the other food was satisfactory, and the restaurant itself is nicely decorated. While I would wish for more competent service for all future guests, one must also understand that it was Christmas Day, and it's not a given that staff would be working then.

The food was below average; the schnitzel and cordon bleu were okay, but the fries were soggy. The service was friendly and attentive. The side salad only arrived when we were almost finished with our main course.

It hasn't been good since the takeover in November. The potato dumplings were like rubber, the roast beef with onions was nowhere near cooked to my liking – I had to send it back. My fries weren't cooked either; they were practically raw inside. Sorry, I'll never eat here again!

First time there, certainly not the last 😄. Very nice atmosphere, friendly and attentive service. Wednesday is schnitzel day: a huge portion of fries and a large piece of meat for €14. The schnitzel was deliciously fried in butter, juicy, and tender. The fries were very fresh and nicely seasoned. The salad plate with baguette was generous and had a good dressing.

Update: New owner The food was delicious and plentiful. It was our first time eating there, and we were very impressed. We'll definitely be back.

The cordon bleu was probably discount stock, including a 1.5 cm thick layer of cheese that was dry and tasteless. The sauce on the vegetable currywurst was a smoky barbecue sauce with no curry flavor.

I had the salad with crispy chicken for just under €18. It was just a side salad with chicken, and it wouldn't fill you up. I also mentioned this when the friendly waitress asked if everything was okay. She said she was sorry and that several guests had already complained about it. So I wonder why nothing has changed? Two weeks ago, it was also criticized in the reviews. The waitress told the manager, and she said she understood and something needed to be changed, but when? There was no response. We won't be coming back.

I'm satisfied with the service and the food. The portions are also larger than they were in the beginning. The menu could change more often, though. Game week, mushroom week. Seasonal changes, the schnitzels are too monotonous, probably just frozen. And then they go straight into the fryer. Little flavor. There's no passion in the kitchen. Unfortunately, it's a shame about such a lovely restaurant.

Went there today with neighbors. Ordered cheese spaetzle and were extremely disappointed. Spaetzle with cheese sauce isn't good. I sent it back. My companions' food was fine (schnitzel and sausage salad).

Great atmosphere and delicious food – we've always been very satisfied. Unfortunately, there was a disappointing incident today: The chicken salad we ordered was essentially just a side salad. For just under €18, you're left hungry afterward. After explaining our complaint, we were ignored and simply left sitting until we proactively asked for the bill ourselves. No apology, no attention to our concerns – a real shame given our otherwise good experience.

Unfortunately, the meat burned. Otherwise, everything was fine.

Prices have increased and become more expensive. Cheese spaetzle was only lukewarm, even with cheese they skimped on it. I complained about the food temperature, but it arrived back at the table 5 minutes later, collapsed and dry? Plates were hot, but the food itself was still not!!?? Very disappointing visit. Prices, except for the schnitzel and cordon bleu, were no longer acceptable (without salad!!! - with salad €22/23!!??). At least the schnitzel was very tasty, just like the last time, and the side salad was fresh and tasty. Unfortunately, at these prices, you can't enjoy the food anymore? And when paying, there was no apology or anything similar regarding the cheese spaetzle. Very, very sad...

I was here again for the first time since the change in ownership and had a positive overall impression. The atmosphere is still very cozy and the acoustics are pleasant for conversations. The service is really very friendly and you didn't have to wait long for drinks and food. The menu doesn't offer a huge selection, but there is enough variety (salads, burgers, meat dishes,...). We had cordon bleu and a burger. Both dishes were high quality, very tasty and sufficiently portioned. But you also pay a rather high price for this. The salad prices put me off. The parking situation was solved well, but must be taken into account (parking spaces must be reported to the operator using a license plate). All in all, a recommendation if you don't expect to eat cheaply.

Today we had a family dinner for 10 people, there were very different dishes on the table: everything was very, very, very tasty***** and beautifully presented :) The salad was beautifully dressed*****and the desserts* **** soooooo fine.....beautiful ambience, great and tasteful decorations ***** ....the service is great!***** AND totally friendly, in short a really mega delicious top restaurant, everything is just right! Attention: change of ownership, so no more Greek cuisine. The new offering is a mix of German cuisine and burgers. Caution is definitely advised for vegetarians, for example salmon is also listed among the four vegetarian dishes! The burger (beef) used a frozen patty, which unfortunately tasted like rubber. The fries were neither fully cooked nor hot but rather lukewarm to cold. (2 out of 3 people even had stomach problems afterwards) There is currently a “free Coke with your burger” promotion. It's a shame that you have to actively point this out to the waiters in order to get this. All in all, unfortunately absolutely no longer recommended. For the high prices there are many better alternatives in the area.
