We were here for goose dinner. So delicious 😋. We'll go again next year. The goose and the side dishes were amazing. It's been a long time since I've eaten something so tasty. The service was also super nice. Highly recommended. Thank you for that. We'll be back

We had dinner here today. From the first minute we felt very comfortable. The greeting was very friendly and welcoming. The waitresses were extremely friendly and always asked if everything was OK and if we needed anything else. The food was top class. Big compliments to the kitchen. We had the bruschetta, the vegetable pan, the shepherd's cheese, the Kaiserschmarn and a piece of nut cake and poppy seed cake. Everything perfect. The drinks were also without complaints. No long waiting times. This restaurant is fully recommended. We would love to come back soon.

Very friendly staff and delicious food

We only ate poppy seed cake, although it was probably not homemade, but industrial. However, it also tasted good. It was well attended and we were able to sit outside on the terrace. The waitress was very quick and careful, but we didn't like her snippy tone. The prices are very reasonable, really not too expensive for the front row seat on the Fulda. In this respect, we can recommend this restaurant despite small drawbacks. You wouldn't expect it from the outside impression when you arrive.

Lunch at Riverside on Auedamm. First of all, praise to the service staff. (male and female) Friendly and courteous. Unfortunately the food was subpar. I chose lunch Allgäu cheese spaetzle with salad 🥗 I understand if the cook can't make spaetzle dough. Then we just use finished products. Served in a stylish iron pan, I was served the “muddy mush” of the year. Cheese taste, none. Not definable. White sauce curdled. The salad carelessly in a glass bowl. I almost felt sorry for him. My counterpart ordered a currywurst for €12.90. Sausage quality also subpar. I didn't complain, I just wanted to get out. Again !!!! , service was good. Hopefully you won't have to give any of your tips to the kitchen. See you again soon. 2nd chance must be...

Great terrace with a view of the Fulda. The food is good. The service was friendly. Today the restaurant was busy but not overcrowded.

The green sauce with eggs was ok, but for the price I expect something better. Unfortunately the apple strudel tasted burnt. The ambience with radio music, which only played techno from 8 p.m. onwards, leaves a lot to be desired. If you can't manage your food and want to take it with you, you have to pack it yourself. Opening time is until 10 p.m., but the kitchen closes at 8 p.m. (?!). You don't have to understand it. Overall, you had the feeling that the service staff wanted to get off work quickly. It wasn't possible to pay at the table either, so you have to go to the front. That was my last visit there.

We had a very tasty "green sauce" with egg and potatoes, a place with a great view of the Fulda, very courteous and friendly service and the sun was also kind to us. What more could you want? We'll be back!

Unfortunately no recommendation. At least this evening the kitchen didn't have a good day. The “Mediterranean plate” was subterranean. The vegetables are not very fresh, but over-salted. Lots of water under the vegetables. A loveless ready-made sauce. Later there was an “espresso”. He tasted even worse than he looked. But: It's nice to sit on the terrace there, at least in summer. Recommendation: Just drink a beer. That was fine.

Hessian schnitzel was super tasty! On schnitzel day, the different varieties are significantly cheaper! Great terrace with a view of the Fulle (translation: Fulda)!

The food looked okay, but the portions were quite small for the price. I had a latte which was a good size and at an okay price for €3.80. Unfortunately it tasted awful after all but not like coffee. Too bad.

Staying on the terrace was particularly excellent after a bike ride. Marcel from the service was able to assign us a table unannounced. His unique style as a host is refreshing. The food is also recommended - I had bruschetta.

Great restaurant where you can enjoy delicious regional food. We particularly recommend the sour cream schnitzel and the liver. In my opinion, the dishes are freshly prepared, not convenience food. The service is sometimes a bit inattentive and doesn't ask if the drink is empty in front of you. You have to call the service first to get supplies. Otherwise everything is tip top. Great location, right on the Fulda. Recommended!

I travel all over Europe and eat out in every city where I camp. I discovered a restaurant in Kassel that had a nice parking lot. Sup at the Fulda, I ordered a currywurst with fries and a beer. While I was talking to someone, I suddenly noticed a black hair on my fries. I immediately informed the waitress, who apologized and brought me a new portion in a box. The fries also came with a salad, which I continued to eat until I found another hair in it. Strange but true. I reported it again and had concerns about the chef. The waitress apologized again and offered me a new portion. I finally agreed, but the food didn't come. Half an hour later, as I wanted to paddle, I asked for the bill. The waitress claimed that the hair probably came from the dog I was talking to and that's why I didn't get a salad. The food was absolutely standard. Charging €12.90 for currywurst with fries and €5 for beer is extortionate – especially when there is hair in the food! I've eaten better at a takeaway for much less. I eat out often and have only had a hair in my food once in my life. I was just amazed. I paid 20 euros and regret tipping 3 euros. The waitress was nice and couldn't help it, but she shouldn't offer anything if she can't keep it. It's a shame about the experience. After this disappointing experience in Kassel, I will only eat where the restaurant has at least 4.5 stars.

Nice location, good food. There are sufficient parking spaces available. I can only criticize the choice of beer - but that's a matter of taste.

Great local at the Fulle, nice service, very tasty food

Everything was perfect, the atmosphere was great, the food was great, the salads were very fresh and very tasty. Service is nice, you don't sit so crowded on the large terrace. We had already made reservations. The only downer was two tables behind and then a few gentlemen, around 30, came along, they were talking extremely loudly and shouting, it didn't have to be that way, and then they left. The restaurant can't help it.

Inflexible. Children's chair is pushed back into the sun so that the service staff has a clear path?!? Tables in the shade are kept free for guests who are still not there an hour later... If you ask a friendly question, it's immediately unfriendly. If you don't want guests to come back, keep it up!

So the food was simply subpar, I should have put myself in the kitchen and then at least something would have come out of it - the vegetables were too hard, or better yet, the fries were only fried once and the top was that there was still a hair in the salad, so not recommended

We were at Riverside today to celebrate an 80th birthday with 5 people, one of whom is wheelchair-bound, and this visit was the first and last there. The table was reserved 2 weeks in advance with the request to set it up nicely for the special day, which was to be done for an extra price of 8 euros. When making the reservation, we were specifically asked whether there was a toilet suitable for disabled people, which was answered in the affirmative and assured that there was can use a wheelchair to go to the toilet. The table was not set. When asked, they said that the colleague who took the reservation had called in sick today. Furthermore, there was no toilet suitable for disabled people, so a visit to the toilet obviously didn't end well for the wheelchair user. Some of the food was inedible. Frozen vegetables were still half frozen, the inside of the fries wasn't cooked through and it was also cold. The only positive thing was the nice waitress who only had her second day there and will hopefully reconsider her choice of workplace. We wish you all the best.

My mother-in-law invited me to the restaurant/cafe on Auedamm in Kassel for her birthday. According to the employee, newly renovated in January 2024 ;-) Beautiful terrace with a view of the fullness, clean and tidy. The food is absolutely delicious, we had cordon bleu, sour cream schnitzel, zander fillet and the asparagus roulade (highly recommended). The waitresses were very friendly, even though the house/terrace was full. People always asked for drinks. Really great restaurant. Toilets clean and tidy. I can only recommend it. Thanks

After a walk along the Fulda, we came to this restaurant with three people and a dog. After we took a seat on the terrace, very friendly service arrived very quickly! Along with the drinks she also brought a water bowl for my dog. I had beef liver with fried onions, mashed potatoes with a small salad. The food was delicious and the price was okay. I can highly recommend the restaurant for a small appetite.

Beautiful location with a cozy winter garden! The vegetarian dishes were a little bland/unimaginative, the meat dishes looked better. Service was OK without being exceptional. But overall a nice location with home-style cuisine.

Already an enrichment for the otherwise somewhat colorless “Full” bank. The food on multiple visits was always tasty and sufficient (for the size of the portion - no grade). The location and furnishings give the guest a view of the hustle and bustle of the Fulda bank from the large terrace. The food and drinks on offer leave almost no wish unfulfilled, café, restaurant, a view of the waterfront promenade or sunbathing, everything is included, so I'll go there again.

Insider tip for eating goose ♥️ We had half a goose with kale, red cabbage, dumplings and sauce. Waiting time less than 10 minutes and the goose was super tender and crispy delicious 😋 The atmosphere in the winter garden with a view of the Fulda was homely and cozy. Everything was very lovingly decorated for Christmas. The food is easily enough for a couple, we also had wine and paid around €60. Conclusion: We'll be back 🤩 P.S. Nettes Lokal, leider wie überall Personalmangel, nichtsdestotrotz freundlich und aufmerksam. Essen lecker, schön angerichtet. Preis ok, ich hab für Feldsalat mit Sellerie 4,90 bezahlt. Bier schön gezapft und lecker...Karte gut sortiert, für Senioren gibts reguläre Portionen von der Karte etwas reduziert, Preis dann minus 2 Euro.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Preisleistungsverhältnis ist spitzenmäßig. Das Personal ist super freundlich und die Lage ist 1a. Wir waren jetzt schon mehrmals da und können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren heute mit unserer Familie im Riverside essen und wir waren alle sehr zufrieden.. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, kompetent und schnell!! Das Essen war sehr lecker! Es ist so geblieben ( auch 2023) jedes Gericht immer noch super lecker und die Bedienung einfach freundlich und kompetent.... Wie so oft waren wir heute wieder hier essen, jedes Gericht war geschmacklich super 😋 Sehr zufrieden waren wir auch mit unserer aufmerksamen Bedienung Andreas !!! 😃

Waren Mittwochs da ,Angebot Schnitzeltag, Essen war gut, zu empfehlen, die Einrichtung des Lokals könnte bisschen einladenden sein, braucht mal ne Auffrischung. Grosse Terasse ,konnte man aber aufgrund des Wetters nicht nutzen.

Wir sind mit 3 Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern zum Mittagessen gekommen und hatten einen genussvollen Aufenthalt inklusive nettem smalltalk mit dem Service Personal. Die Bedienung erfolgte prompt nachdem wir einen Tisch ausgesucht hatten. Die Getränke kamen zügig und die reichhaltigen Portionen der bestellten Speisen waren angenehm warm und ansprechend angerichtet. Tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!!! Der grandiose Blick auf's Wasser rundete den gelungenen Gesamteindruck ab. Danke, bis nächstes Mal 😃

Gutes Lokal, direkt an der Fulle gelegen. Haben auf der schönen großen Terrasse Cappuccino und die Sonne genossen. Hier gibt es gute regionale Küche mit Mittagstisch und speziellen Angeboten. Sehr freundliche und nette Mitarbeiter und Atmosphäre. Gerne wieder. Essen ist auch sehr lecker 😋
