Sehr gute rheinische Brauhaus-Küche. Top Service. Ich liebe die Feuerhaxe. Ein echter Tipp. Ich habe einige Jahre schräg gegenüber gearbeitet; und man konnte vor über 20 Jahren bereits per Email den Mittagstisch für eine bestimmte Zeit vorbestellen. Vorbildlich! Muss ich unbedingt nochmal hin!

Das Hirschchen war mal eine urige Kneipe mit sehr gutem Essen. Das ist jetzt nicht mehr so. Der Service ist miserabel. Wir warteten eine Stunfe auf das Essen. Nie wieder!

Hier schmeckt es mit oder ohne Fußball immer gut, die Bedingung ist freundlich und es ist zum Glück nicht so überfüllt wie in der Altstadt. Wir kommen immer gerne wieder.

Gutes deutsches Restaurant, ich habe eine sehr gute Spargelsuppe und das klassische Schnitzel gegessen, alles war ausgezeichnet, freundliches Personal und schneller Service.

Wir haben unsere Firmenfeier im hirschchen abgehalten. Das komplette Team war freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Die Gerichte und Getränke waren lecker, Extrawünsche wurden perfekt umgesetzt. Es wurde zum unvergesslichen Erlebnis. Vielen Dank nochmal.

Normalerweise bin ich bei deutschen Restaurants extra vorsichtig. Hier ist es einfach klasse! Gutes Essen, nette Leute, prima Service, leckeres Bier! Es hat alles perfekt gepasst. Die Speisekarte ist sehr vielfältig und ansprechend. Ich werde gerne nochmal vorbeischauen. 🍻👍🏼

Nach meinem Besuch im Goethe-Museum musste ich diesen Laden unbedingt ausprobieren. Aber auch ohne Museumsbesuch lohnt es sich. Tolles Pub-Essen!

Das Essen war gut und von der Menge her ausreichend. Die Auswahl der Gerichte könnte etwas größer sein und auch die Aufmerksamkeit des Personals. Insgesamt waren wir aber zufrieden.

Die Getränke sind widerlich: verwässertes Guinness, das nach Seife und Kaffee riecht; leicht gesüßtes Eiswasser statt eines alkoholischen Cocktails. Der Service lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig.

Das Hirschen ist ein gut bürgerliches Restaurant. Speisekarte ist vielfältig. Jedes Tag ein Tagesgericht für günstigen Preis. Portionen teilweise nicht so groß ( Backkartoffeln mit Hähnchen) aber lecker. Dafür andere Gerichte sehr groß. Bedienungen sehe freundlich und schnell. Ambiente ist rustikal,, leider ist der Lautstärkepegel etwas hoch, aber das ist normal für so eine Location.

Wir haben letztes Wochenende zwei tolle Nächte hier verbracht. Fantastischer Empfang von den Besitzern und dem Personal. Tolle Atmosphäre, super Bier, super Essen. Vielen Dank von euren walisischen Freunden!

Nach meinem Besuch bei boot Düsseldorf habe ich hier mit einer Gruppe gegessen.

Das Restaurant Hirschchen ist wirklich toll – das Essen war köstlich und der Service unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der schnelle Service. Ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen und komme sehr gerne wieder!

Das Brauhaus ist klassisch eingerichtet. Grosse Tische, viel Platz, auch für grössere Gruppen/Familien oder Firmen. Der Service war sympathisch und bemüht. Es gibt eine gute Auswahl an Bieren und sie wurden gut gezapft serviert. Leider war viel los und wir mussten auf die Tapas lange waren (die ja schon vorbereitet hätten sein können, da kalt). Ansonsten gibt es typisch fleischlastige Brauhausküche, aber auch Salate. Wir hatten den Brauhausburger, den ich ok fand, während mir die Pommes gar nicht schmeckten. Da der Gastraum gut gefüllt war, war es auch ganz schön laut.

Wir waren zur Weihnachtsfeier essen. Leider war das Essen nicht gut. Die Pommes waren Steinhart, und das Burgerfleisch war schwarz. Insgesamt geschmacklich eher nix.

Lovely, simple, comforting food, good beer and very well looked after by the staff.

We had the goose today (one breast, one leg) and were very disappointed. The goose wasn't freshly prepared, just reheated and consequently dry. The portions were quite small, including the side dishes. For €36, we expected something better. After a similar experience in the past, Hirschchen is definitely no longer an option for us if we want to eat out for a nice meal.

The food was delicious. Unfortunately, we had to wait about 15 minutes for our order to be taken and then another 50 minutes for the food to arrive. If there are children present, they should at least be served first.

We dined at Hirschchen with a large group. The service was very attentive, and the dishes were attractively presented and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would love to come back soon. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Today I was at the Hirschchen, very pleasant atmosphere. Dear Enno even poured me a nice Guinness. The people, the location, and the atmosphere give this bar a unique touch. I highly recommend it. Feel free to ask for Mr. Kock!

Personally, I don't like going out to eat often, but the Hirschchen is an exception. No matter the occasion—whether it's a birthday, a reunion with friends, or simply wanting to watch Fortuna with other fans—you're in good hands at the Hirschchen. From the food to the staff and the ambiance, everything is just perfect. The classic home-style cooking is served by very friendly and competent staff; if you have questions about certain dishes or simply ask the waiter for personal recommendations, you'll always be helped. The food itself is also excellent, served promptly, and tastes even better with the fantastic Altbier. The ambiance is also taken care of; if Fortuna is playing, the Hirschchen is well-attended, and the atmosphere is great. Otherwise, there's always nice, fitting music playing, occasionally even live. The only drawback is that you occasionally have to spend a few minutes looking for a parking space, but it's worth it. All in all, the Hirschchen is always the number one choice if you want to eat well in Düsseldorf.

Hirschchen was virtually next door to our hotel, ideal for dinner and a drink after a busy day out and about. Good menu with loads of choices, the food was delicious, really well cooked and presented. We liked it so much that we ate there 3 nights out of four, it would have been all four but it was closed on the Sunday night. The whole team were really friendly and helpful even remembering what our tipple of choice was.

It's a bit out of the way, but if you're looking for something traditional, this is the place for you. This place is recommended for football fans and children.

I was there again today and I have to say I was absolutely disappointed with the Rhenish cream herring fillet. They were the kind you buy in Lidl or Aldi. You could really taste the additives. I can't recommend them at all. And the "fried potatoes" that had been reheated for the third time 🤢. A few years ago, these cream herring fillets were really homemade and really tasty. Nowadays, I wouldn't meet up with friends at the Hirschchen to eat there. It's far too expensive and the food really leaves a lot to be desired. That's why I'll NEVER GO AGAIN!!!

The Hirschchen is a very nice restaurant where I enjoy eating often. The atmosphere has always been very friendly. The food is great, especially the desserts. The restaurant is large and often packed, which makes it a bit noisy. Sometimes there are large, drunken groups there. Nevertheless, it's very child-friendly and suitable for families.

The food wasn't good 🙈 The fries were cold with the burger... I complained... the fries were hot and the burger was cold. I ordered the knuckle of pork without mushrooms and bacon... no problem according to the waitress... the knuckle of pork came with mushrooms and bacon... the meat was tough and hard... never again

On the positive side, the cheap table mustard has now become lion mustard! The service is inattentive, very slow. As for the food, it was a birthday, so I can judge several meals since my son is a chef himself! For the knuckle ragout, tasteless, the sauce was watery, any packet sauce from Maggi would improve it, no go! The meatloaf with fried egg, portion far too puny for the price, fried potatoes unfortunately far too dark and bitter, and occasionally served cold, unfortunately the kitchen is not characterized by any major highlights, sometimes great, sometimes flop, we gave the restaurant a second chance today, unfortunately to the negative, a snack is more satisfactory in terms of taste and certainly in terms of price-performance ratio, a shame, it is actually a nice restaurant with a lot of potential. But I can't recommend this place any more. P.S. The rump steak was at least cooked to perfection, one meal was totally lost in the whole meal.

We spontaneously went to the Hirschchen today and were thrilled. The atmosphere is very rustic and the service is very friendly. There are half a dozen beers on tap, a wide range of food options and the prices are great. It is very pleasant that the deer is not overcrowded with tourists. It's as cozy here as in a good old corner pub. We'd love to come back!

Delicious food that I would describe as "brewery plus." A good selection of drinks, a relaxed atmosphere, and the background music suited my taste without being too loud. The service was friendly and quick.

I visit the Hirschchen regularly and feel really comfortable there every time. The restaurant simply has charm – cozy, warm and authentic. I especially love the brewery salad - I order it almost every time because it is simply delicious and fresh. But the hamburger is also really good and highly recommended! The staff is friendly, the service is attentive and the food always comes quickly. You can tell that the cooking here is made with love. All in all, a great restaurant – I’ll always be happy to come back!

Super authentic brewery where all ages feel comfortable. Food from traditional to modern, all very tasty. Good wines, so even non-beer drinkers get their money's worth. And the team is so nice and attentive! Great shop!

I went to dinner with some business colleagues. The service was fast and shortly after sitting down we already had drinks and they had already made our reservation for dinner. I liked the food, I ordered a typical dish which was breaded meat accompanied by potatoes. It was a bit of a whirlwind visit, I would like to return to try more things on the menu.

The service was super friendly and attentive. Altbier is served here: Schlösser Alt. "Angie's" homemade goulash soup tasted very tasty, but there could have been a little more baguette. The mushroom cream schnitzel was okay, but not outstanding. Unfortunately the fries weren't quite cooked through.

We used to eat there more often. After last night: never again! Our order was taken quite quickly and the first drinks came quickly. But that was it. It has never happened to me in Düsseldorf that I had to chase after my old one to get a new one. The only thing that helped here was going to the counter. We waited over an hour for the food. The ribs were good, the cheeseburger was okay. There wasn't much of the cheese to be seen. The fries were soggy. When it came time to pay, the bill didn't match what was consumed. There was too much listed. After correcting the bill without apologizing, we contacted customer service. At first we were told that it was packed and therefore there were delays. When we arrived, maybe 60 percent of the seats inside were occupied, but not every table outside was occupied. The Hirschchen is not a huge store. When I commented that this should be possible for four service staff, we received the following remarkable answer: if we had sat further forward instead of in the last corner, we would have been served sooner. I can't remember ever not tipping before!

The spaetzle pan and the burger were delicious, but I absolutely can't recommend the asparagus. 500g was offered, a maximum of 300g was brought and the asparagus was completely overcooked. Unfortunately, the service was absolutely not good, at first only drinks were taken, then we were ignored and had to ask twice to be able to place our food order. In the end we sat there for 1 1/2 hours until we had our dishes. The restaurant was maybe 10% full. Unfortunately we cannot recommend it.

The best knuckle I have ever eaten in my life, by far. Stylish, spacious and pleasant place. I was looking forward to coming back another day to try another dish.
