Uerige am Markt in Düsseldorf

Wir waren zum Bereichsmeeting in Düsseldorf und hatten hier für ca. 40 Personen reserviert. Es gab vorab eine Vorauswahl an Essen, die aber anscheinend nur zum Teil angekommen ist. Somit wurden die Speisen vorbereitet und beim Verteilen wurde wirklich von den Servicekräften durch den Raum geschrien, wer was bestellt hat. Bei der Nachspeise ist es genauso gewesen. Von daher war die Geräuschkulisse sehr unangenehm und laut. Die Getränkebestellungen wurden teilweise vergessen und genauso verteilt, wie das Essen. Also in die Menge rufen, was man auf dem Tablett hat und wer sich angesprochen gefühlt hat, hat geantwortet. Es war doch sehr unorganisiert. Dazu kommt, das das Essen bei einem sehr spät serviert wurde. Somit waren andere schon fertig mit dem Essen, als er begonnen hat. Bei einer anderen war das Fleisch noch blutig, ohne das es so bestellt war. Die Tische haben sehr geklebt. Nicht mal der Bierdeckel konnte auf dem Tisch verschoben werden. Das Ambiente ist typisch Brauhaus. Mein Fazit: mit einer kleineren Gruppe würde ich vielleicht noch einmal hingehen, aber in unserer Größenordnung definitiv nicht. Schade!

Eine sehr gemütliche Gastwirtschaft, nette zuvorkommende Bedienung. Große Portion zum sattwerden und zudem lecker.

Das Essen war gut und vorallendingen Reichlich. Es kam auch ziemlich schnell. Ambiente in Sommer draußen auch gut. Service war auch nett und gut.

Ein wunderschönes Restaurant. Schneller Service. Großzügige Portionen. Schöne, große, schattige Terrasse. Seltsam ist allerdings, dass man nicht mit ausländischen Bankkarten bezahlen kann.

Waren letzte Woche hier zweimal. Eine klassische, unkomplizierte Gaststätte mit bodenständigem Essen und integriertem Biergarten. Sehr nette Wirtin mit der wir Spaß hatten. Auch das Personal ist super nett und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war geschmacklich gut. Die Speisekarte bietet für jeden etwas. Auch gibt es täglich andere Angebote. Wir können das Lokal empfehlen.

Wir waren mit einer Gesellschaft angemeldet dort. Der Kellner hat einen super Job gemacht und ganz schön gerackert. Das Essen war eigentlich auch lecker, aber zahlreiche Fleischgerichte waren nicht komplett durchgegart. Gerade bei Pute und auch Schwein darf das nicht sein. Das Ambiente war toll. Auch wenn die Küche mit uns überfordert schien, waren wir gerne dort zu Gast. Ich denke, wenn man mit 1-6 Personen kommt, dann läuft es auch besser.

Ich wollte eigentlich was bestellen, aber jetzt würde ich gern zahlen, evtl liest das jetzt ja mal jemand...

Nettes, kleines Brauhaus, gutes Essen, was gut schmeckt, ordentliche Portionen. Der Preis von 40-50€ pro Person ist wegen dem Spargel. Man müsste eigentlich sagen 20-50€, kommt darauf an, ob man etwas ißt, was man ißt und wieviel man trinkt.

Die beste Schweinshaxe weit und breit. Reichhaltige Portionen zu einem guten Preis. Der Service war etwas langsam, zumindest an dem Tag, als ich dort war.

Das Essen war köstlich und typisch deutsch! Der Krautsalat war wirklich lecker und alles war frisch, also nicht aus der Tiefkühltruhe 🙏❤️

Hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Ich hatte das Clubsandwich und es war hervorragend. Der Service war schnell und freundlich und auch das Essen stand schnell auf dem Tisch

Wow, wir hatten ein wirklich köstliches Essen! Die Bedienung erwähnte, dass unsere Bestellung eine halbe Stunde Zubereitungszeit benötigte, was sehr nett war, da sie uns das vorher mitgeteilt hatten. Das Essen war köstlich, und der Koch brachte sogar einen zusätzlichen Teller für unser Kind. Wirklich toll! 😀

Das Uerige besuche ich immer sehr gerne, Leckeres Essen, nette Mitarbeiter und tolle Ambiente. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen !

Ich habe gerade zu Abend gegessen und es war ausgezeichnet. Wiener Schnitzel mit Kartoffeln, ein Bier, Apfelstrudel und Cappuccino zum Nachtisch. Köstlich! Hinweis: Hier wird nur Bargeld akzeptiert!

Hier gibt es gutes Essen und wohlgefühlt habe ich mich dort auch. Nettes und freundliches Personal. Sollte man wirklich mal hingehen. Wir hatten nicht resaviert und dennoch für 7 Personen einen Tisch bekommen. Die Portionen waren genau richtig zum satt werden.

Ein wunderschönes Wirtshaus, aber der Wirt (der, den ich hinter der Theke sah) war noch viel schöner! Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Genau das Richtige für eine einladende Atmosphäre. Und dann noch das Essen und die Getränke, die wirklich ihren Teil dazu beitragen (ein großes Lob an den Koch! Aber ich finde, das Lob gebührt dem gesamten Team). Super gemacht, alle zusammen! Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder! 👍😉

Für den kleinen Durst und Hunger, perfekt zusammengestellt. Guter, schneller und sehr freundlicher Service aus Küche und Tresen. Auf alle Fälle ein nächstes Mal mit guten Freunden!

Sehr, sehr freundliche Bedienung. Auch den Kindern gegenüber sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Essen sehr lecker und gute Portionen.

Die Speisen und Getränke sind soweit wie erwartet. Ich möchte aber doch deutlich kritisieren, dass ein Unternehmen dieser Größe im Jahr 2026 keine virtuellen debitkarten im Smartphone akzeptiert, sondern nur die deutsche sonderlösung girocard. Das ist wirklich nicht mehr nachzuvollziehen, außerhalb von Deutschland völlig undenkbar und für ein Unternehmen im Zentrum einer weltstadt mit Flughafenanbindung peinlich. Man sieht eben der peinliche deutsche Rückstand bei der Digitalisierung betrifft nicht nur den staat, sondern auch privatunternehmen.

Wir waren spontan und zufällig an einem Abend unter der Woche dort zu Gast. Wir hatten ein tolles Essen und eine gute Zeit. Es ist kein Schickimicki Restaurant,aber wer das nicht braucht, wird einen guten Abend mit leckerem Essen haben.

It was my mother's 85th birthday with 18 guests. Everything was great, the food was good, the service was efficient – ​​the owner was there, which is exactly how it should be! 😁 This time everything was perfect, unlike our previous experiences. Uerige is a must-visit when you're in the old town. Pleasant atmosphere and always good conversation.

I find the generally positive reviews incomprehensible. We were there as a couple and were immediately served rudely by an older gentleman. When we asked if they had Coke Zero, the response was a curt "No, we don't have it here." When I asked if ketchup was available with my schnitzel and fried potatoes, the answer was also a curt "No, we don't have it." Everything was rather dry after that. The schnitzel itself was good, but the rest was just average at best. The icing on the cake was when a slightly larger group arrived and we had to get up from our table! Since we had already paid, it wasn't so bad, but still, it was outrageous. There are certainly better breweries, like the Schlüssel, or you could go to a good Italian restaurant; you'd definitely have a better experience.

A quaint German beer hall frequented by locals, offering delicious traditional dishes. Reasonable prices, and a truly friendly waitress. Definitely worth a visit.

Urige am Markt, a traditional German brewery/restaurant, has retained its unique character amidst all the international cuisine in Oberbilk and Düsseldorf. The quality is surprisingly good, and the value for money is truly excellent. The mussels, Rhine-style, with dark bread and butter were absolutely fantastic. The service was attentive from beginning to end – even our dog was provided with water without hesitation. All in all, a wonderful visit!

Today was a very unpleasant experience! The service was completely overwhelmed! I'm aware that nobody wants to work in the service industry anymore! With the prices in this restaurant, they could at least give the staff a few euros more! Then you'd actually get decent staff again! A shout-out to the owner! Don't just focus on making a profit! Make sure the guests are satisfied! We certainly weren't satisfied today!

A quaint, traditional German restaurant that holds its own against all the international cuisine available elsewhere in the area. Amazingly good quality and excellent value for money at lunch. The staff is very friendly. If you're near the main train station, be sure to stop by. They also serve Uerige beer on tap 👍🏻

We had lunch there; very friendly service, a great menu with many regional dishes. There was also a seasonal menu with fresh chanterelles. The food took a while to arrive, but it was freshly cooked—no convenience store! The price/performance ratio was good. The service was very attentive. We'd be happy to return.

We've been coming to Düsseldorf for the trade fair for many years and always stop here. Everything at Uerige is just perfect. The Alt and Killepitsch are delicious, the food is great, and the service is friendly and prompt. Even though they sometimes run out of chanterelle mushrooms on Sundays, we'll be back. 🥳

With a great meal (schnitzel with chanterelle cream sauce and fried potatoes) and a delicious Alt beer or two, I had a wonderful evening in the beer garden. The service was also very good. I didn't go inside. Everything seemed very relaxed. I'll be back.

The restaurant is amazing; with a friendly Greek staff who speaks both English and German. We called in and she was friendly from the get go. Food quality is amazing and it is a nice place for lunch or for dinner! Highly recommend.

Fries were okay, schnitzel was terrible. Guests in the same group had to wait different amounts of time for their food, which is unacceptable.

Interesting service. If you are hungry and want to have one or several dark beer (Uerige Alt), that is your place to go in Oberbilk. Summer outside under trees. You should order butter with asparagus.

Delicious local food (brewery-style) and good service. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you live nearby. Prices are perfectly reasonable. If you haven't tried it yet, you should definitely give it a try.

The main course was really nice (I had steak) dessert was missing a bit of taste (Kaiserschmarrn) and the atmosphere a bit less appealing but I guess it's part of the Flair 🤷🏻‍♂️ was a bit too loud for my taste
