It used to be good. But the management increased the number of tables while the buffet remained the same size. You wait in line for your meal for 30 minutes. Half of it is then empty. This is an imposition, an impudence and, above all, just greedy for money. Nothing more needs to be said about it.
I went to this restaurant for the first time with a friend and we really enjoyed it. But today I had a completely opposite experience.
Two days ago I came over with my friends and asked if we could come today. The owner barely paid me any attention, didn't ask how many people there would be, just said, "Yes, you can come, no reservation is necessary." Then he turned around and walked away.
Today when we actually came he was extremely rude, yelled and even called me a liar. He also commented that my German was bad and that there had been a misunderstanding. My German teacher – a native speaker – was present and pointed out his behavior. In your opinion, I speak significantly better German than this man.
His behavior was disrespectful and impulsive. I feel sorry for his poor wife who had to apologize for him. I have never experienced anything like this and cannot recommend this restaurant after this experience.
We went there during the week without a reservation and still got a spot with a time slot. This shows how popular the restaurant is - it also filled up quickly.
The menu is very extensive and offers a wide variety, so there is something for everyone. The service was consistently attentive and friendly – really great!
Prices are on the high end, but the food is worth every penny. The quality and taste convinced us once again. We come regularly and can fully recommend the restaurant!
The place is somewhat tucked away on the corner, but still impossible to miss... especially now that you and I have tried it! The price-performance ratio, or rather the price-taste ratio, is top-notch 10/10, and the plates and portions are amazing! It tastes really good; you can find everything your heart desires, from sushi to udon noodle soup, as well as classic dishes like fried noodles/rice with chicken and vegetables. The service is very friendly... everything looks very fresh, too. I wish I lived nearby so I could eat there every day.
A small but fine restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and a great ambiance.
We ate there with four people on March 15, 2025.
We ordered duck and lamb three times.
The portions and appetizers were very, very tasty. The service and the chef were also very friendly. We would be happy to come back.
The Paruschkewitz and Kuhnke families
We may recommend this restaurant for all who likes asian food. It was delicious one. The staff is very friendly, helpfull and smiling. The restaurant is very well located, nearby Kurfursterdamm. The prices are resonable. We will come back there visiting Berlin next time.
Grab your friends and enjoy a night of great sushi and cocktails in a beautiful setting! Go for the sushi combos, a shared platter that always elicits excitement at the table due to its stunning visual presentation. For our party of 3 we shared a combo for 2-3 persons and it was plenty and very reasonably priced. For the weekend reservations are recommended. Worth mentioning is that they do 2 seatings. So if you want to hang out and chill make sure to book the 8 pm time slot.
Food is quite good, but quite expensive.
Aperol doesn't work at all!
The service itself is friendly - but we weren't said goodbye (no "bye" or fortune cookie to say goodbye, like the other guests received).
We liked the To Gao in Blankenese much better.
