Wok‘ n Roll in Bochum

Außerordentlich frisched unf leckeres essen. Wir hatten die ente mit gebratenem reis unf normalerweise esse ich nicht das gabze gemüse was so immer dabei ist aber das war wirklich lecker. Die ente war auch sehr knusprig und einfach zu zerreißen. Wir hatten auch eine sushiplattr die war auch frisch und sehr lecker zubereitet.

Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, alles war köstlich, das Personal freundlich. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Cola war völlig schal. Sie wurde zwar ausgetauscht, aber es änderte sich nichts. Die Cola war widerlich, ungenießbar. Das Essen hingegen war einfach hervorragend.

Die Bewertung wird dem Ganzen nicht gerecht. Super Essen, Preis-Leistung 1a, aber dass man nicht mit Karte bezahlen kann, ist für mich ein No-Go. Allerdings nehmen sie PayPal. Bei einem geschäftlichen Meeting führt das leider bei uns zu unnötigem Buchungsaufwand, da nicht die Firmenkreditkarte verwendet werden kann. Bitte macht das möglich! 😉. Edit: Man ist hier leider nicht in Lage, das Kreditkarten dauerhaft akzeptiert werden. Mal ja, mal nein. Echt schade. Es interessiert wohl auch keinen.

Wir haben hier zum ersten und letzten Mal gegessen. Es war das schlechteste und salzigste Essen, das ich je gegessen habe. Das Personal war sehr unfreundlich. Wir haben eine Cola bestellt, die keine Kohlensäure mehr hatte, aber sie wurde trotzdem nicht ausgetauscht. Ich kann dieses Restaurant überhaupt nicht empfehlen.

Ein schönes kleines Restaurant mit außen Bereich. Wir haben uns an dem Tag nach draußen gesetzt und wurden schnell mit einer Karte versorgt. Die Auswahl ist riesig und es ist für wirklich jeden etwas dabei. Ich entschied mich für ein Thai-Curry mit Reis und Hähnchen. Die Portionen waren sehr groß und man konnte auch den Rest mit nach Hause nehmen. Leider war der Service ein wenig wünschenswert. Die beiden Damen haben ihren Job super gemacht nur leider sehr hastig und schnell und ohne ein wenig zwischen menschliches aber mich störte es nicht. An sich also ein super Restaurant Beachtet nur, dass man nicht mit Karte zahlen kann, was ich in 2026 echt nicht gut finde.

Wir haben köstlich gegessen. Die Gerichte wurden frisch zubereitet.

Unglaublich gutes Essen! Einfach zu empfehlen.

Der freundliche, niederländischsprachige Inhaber ist auch offen für individuelle Arrangements für Gruppen. Erstklassige Speisen werden mit viel Liebe zum Detail präsentiert und mit besten, superfrischen Produkten zubereitet. Das Lokal ist klein, aber es bilden sich Warteschlangen – reservieren Sie daher unbedingt im Voraus.

Ein sehr gutes asiatisches Restaurant. Das Sushi war top und auch der gebratene Reis hat wirklich gut geschmeckt, wobei bei Letzterem zu bemerken ist, dass die Portion sehr groß war. Es gibt insgesamt eine große Auswahl an verschiedensten asiatischen Gerichten. Das Restaurant ist allerdings recht klein, weswegen zu Stoßzeiten am Wochenende eine Reservierung sinnvoll sein kann.

Preis Leistung ist absolut Top. Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt und die Portionen waren schon ordentlich groß. Preislich wären wir bei etwa 20-30€ aber mit Gyozas als Vorspeise, einem Hauptgericht und einem Getränk, wofür ich den Preis mehr als angemessen fand.

Die Preis- Leistung ist Top. Sehr empfehlen kann ich die Nr. 107 und das Maki Sushi. Das Maki Sushi war tatsächlich das beste was ich bis jetzt probiert habe. Die Portionen sind auch ausreichend portioniert, sodass jeder satt wird. Das Personal ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Hier komme ich gerne wieder !

Nur zu empfehlen - wir hatten ein Curry-Gericht und eine Sushi-Platte. Beides sehr lecker. Der Service auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit bei der Menüauswahl. Minus nur beim Ambiente, was durch alles andere aber locker wettgemacht wird.

Honestly, I didn't like this restaurant at all. The food was bland and had no real flavor. The staff constantly tried to take my plates away as soon as I finished, as if they wanted to rush me out. The portions were extremely small—both the main course and the side rice—which made the whole restaurant feel cheap. After I finished eating, I raised my hand to order dessert, but the waiter simply assumed I wanted the bill and brought it to me without even asking. When I said I wanted to order something, he seemed surprised. By that point, however, I'd already had enough. This treatment made me feel completely unwelcome, as if I wasn't allowed to stay after my main course. I truly despise this greedy mentality. The decor is also old and looks very cheap. Overall, I can't recommend this restaurant, and I certainly won't be going back.

We Ordered Online , the sushi was really bad it was a big roll that has big veggies and less Protein inside ( Tuna & Shrimps) , the Roll was loose and whenever you take one it collapses.. disappointing experience

Cozy little Asian restaurant with a quick staff and by far the best Pho I've had in years. I could sit in this place eating pho and drinking asahi beer all day and night!

Wok'n Roll is definitely a restaurant I'd happily recommend! The cozy and modern ambiance immediately strikes you as you enter; you immediately feel at home. The food was outstanding: freshly prepared, delicious, and beautifully presented. I was particularly impressed by the wide selection, with something for everyone. The service was equally excellent: very friendly, attentive, and never intrusive. Empty glasses were noticed immediately, and special requests were fulfilled without hesitation. The value for money here is also absolutely spot on: high-quality dishes at fair prices. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable experience; everything is just right here. I will definitely be back and highly recommend Wok'n Roll to anyone who wants to enjoy good Asian food in a pleasant atmosphere!

Actually, it's not my thing when too many different cuisines (Chinese, Japanese, Thai) collide. Every style is great here. Everything is freshly prepared and tastes accordingly. Unfortunately, the prices have risen exponentially recently. And now the portions are getting smaller, too. What a shame. Hence, only 3 stars.

The food at Wok & Roll is delicious. Unfortunately, the space is a bit small and cramped, making the atmosphere a bit cramped. It can get crowded quickly, and space is limited. The tiles near the restrooms are extremely sticky.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. We were craving Asian food and couldn't have found anything else in Recklinghausen so late. The pho was delicious and not heavy on cilantro. The bami goreng was very tasty and we've never had anything so delicious anywhere else. The meat quality was very good; I've had worse elsewhere. I can recommend this restaurant for a cozy evening with loved ones. Make a reservation, though, as the place gradually filled up. Seating is available inside and outside 👍

The duck was a bit dry, and the noodles didn't have a very distinctive flavor. More drink options would have been better. Otherwise, the service and everything else was very good. I'd happily go back, but with a different menu choice.

Very tasty food at fair prices. Service is very fast and friendly. It's best to make a reservation in advance, as the restaurant is quite small and busy. You might find strangers sharing your table when it's full. The portions aren't huge, but they're sufficient. We'd be happy to go back! Correction: We've been going there for years; fast service, good food, and we keep coming back!

Skip the snack bar if you want to order. We waited over two hours for our food. The manager told us to "chill out." No leniency next time. Officially, it was supposed to take 45 minutes. Better stay away.

The food was delicious. Things got a bit bizarre when it came to paying: Even though I made it clear that I wanted to pay by card and didn't have any cash, they continued to insist on cash. The solution? My boyfriend should step in for me with his remaining cash. When I finally insisted on paying by card again, the terminal suddenly "broke." One could almost get the impression that they prefer cash here for very specific "possibly accounting-related" reasons.

The food is delicious and there is a lot of variety. This was the best Asian restaurant I've been to, but there's only one problem: the area is a bit small.

My expectations were low, given how pan-Asian the dishes are. It’s like a restaurant boasting Italian, Spanish and Greek cuisines. How authentic can anything be? I was pleasantly surprised. Our table of five ordered mostly Vietnamese, with one platter of sushi. While everything is a localized/adapted version, everyone was happy with the food. What more can one ask of a restaurant. The presentation is mindful and the portions are generous. Interior design: The tables are tightly packed and partitioned off (just a feature, not necessarily a bug). Dim light and touches of nature in the form of tree barks and plants create a relaxing vibe. Given the prime location, the prices are very reasonable.

Half an hour before closing, they only serve takeaway, which is fine, but could be signposted. Instead of vegan duck, we got a dead animal, which was really disgusting, and very annoying for €18.

We chose something from the online menu and ordered. The meal was a standard large portion of noodles with duck and sauce. The online price was €17.90. We paid €21 on the spot, as the online prices are apparently no longer correct. Unfortunately, it was significantly overpriced for a standard meal. This was the last time we ate there.

Update: Unfortunately, on my last visit I noticed that both the price-performance ratio and the service had deteriorated somewhat. Since I had pre-ordered, I based myself on the prices that could be found online under the menu. My dish was listed there as €12.95, but I was charged €16.95. The taste of the food was okay, although not quite as convincing as I remembered. I find paying almost €17 for Vietnamese spring rolls and simple noodles with garden salad to be very high in comparison. There were also minor discrepancies in the service. For example, my plate was cleared even though I hadn't finished it yet. I understand that there can be stressful days and of course I would like to give the team a well-deserved break from work. Nevertheless, as a guest you would like a little more peace and attention, especially after a long day at work. I hope my feedback is taken as constructive. In principle, I would like to come back and would be happy if the quality was more oriented towards the usual quality again. We've been going to you since 2013 and I also like to bring friends because your food is so delicious. Especially the Tom Kha Gai/Gung, the Thai dish with bamboo, the noodle salad with spring rolls and and and (: thank you very much and see you next time! (:

Our absolute favorite sushi 🍣 bar! The ambience is nice, the food is first class! The quality of the food is second to none. The service could speak a little better German from time to time, but that's not a drawback either, as the service is lightning fast and really nice and accommodating 😉 And above all, the prices are unbeatable, sometimes it's difficult to believe that there is still anything left. So I can only recommend everyone to eat there!

I ordered the Vietnamese dish Pho. The quantity was large and the taste was good. The atmosphere inside the store was good and I was very satisfied.

Absolutely not recommended, everything smelled, super unhygienic and the food was absolutely not fresh or tasty. It just didn't taste good and it gave me a really bad stomach ache!

There are a lot of options for eating sushi in Bochum city center, but this shop is definitely one of the best. It's kept simple, but that's part of the charm. It's best to make a reservation on the weekend as it is often very crowded.

This restaurant wants to generate black money. Apparently the EC device is defective! But if the table next to you paid with EC and you ask. It suddenly works. Already experienced several times. Especially when you pick up food! I think it's a disgrace! Everyone has to pay their taxes. I'll pass it on to the tax office.

I've been going to Wok 'n Roll regularly about 2-3 times a month for several years. The vegan food is very extensive and was always tasty and fresh. On weekends it can be quite crowded and therefore noisy in the evenings, and a reservation is a good idea.

A very pleasant and friendly Asian restaurant offering sushi as well as other classic wok dishes. The ambience is inviting and tastefully designed. The service staff seem a bit disorganized, but overall they are very friendly and accommodating. It is definitely advisable to reserve a table in advance as space is really limited. The food was freshly prepared and tasted very good. I would have liked a little more vegetables in my dish. The price-performance ratio is still very fair and reasonable.

Really great food for a small dollar. That's what the establishment looks like, a little cramped and loud. The atmosphere is simply breathtaking.
