Very tasty food 😋 Also top service!

Food and service (especially service!!) top. The only thing that was a bit uncomfortable was the time pressure. We only had 25 minutes to eat before the main courses arrived. Ambiance is just slightly kitschy, I like it. Had homemade iced tea and something reminiscent of Sprite. My companion 2 cocktails, everything wonderful.

There wasn't enough on the plate for the price. The taste is very good, I hope the portions will be bigger again.

A real gem in Amberg – outstanding sushi & great ambience! We were in Amberg for 10 days on business and ate here five times during that time - that says it all! As sushi lovers from Bremen, we have to be honest: you rarely find such quality in the north. We felt incredibly comfortable on our first visit. The service is warm and attentive, the sushi is first-class and prepared with great attention to detail. The ingredients are fresh, the presentation is impressive and the ambience invites you to relax - stylish, cozy and authentic. The price-performance ratio is also more than fair, especially for the quality offered. If you are in Amberg and are looking for an outstanding Asian restaurant, you should not miss this experience. Absolute recommendation – we will definitely come back!

A really successful restaurant. Very polite and hard-working employees. The food arrives after an absolutely bearable wait and meets exactly the taste of the good sushi lover. The menu in general is really large and varied. There really is something for everyone. I'd love to come back

The food was a flop in terms of taste👎 Soup was inedible. The fried sushi was fatty and didn't taste the best either. Wouldn't go there anymore.

Very friendly and courteous service. Food was very good. Busy restaurant, so reservations are essential. We got there half an hour early, but still got our seat straight away. Food can also be picked up. There are a lot of customers at the counter, so request a table a little away from the counter if possible. Any time.

Cocoon - a restaurant with class. It is not the beautiful ambience with light wood and dark decor that attracts people to the store. Nor are the polite and professional staff who know how to serve and internalize the phrase "customer is king". It's the delicious food. They value appearance, taste and freshness. Probably one of the biggest competitors to the other Asian restaurants in Amberg. Definitely worth a visit. About my order Sushi vegetarian Ramen vegetarian The sushi was beautifully prepared and tasted fresh. The portion, which seemed small at first, filled each of us and we regretted the size of the order. The ramen was made with thick noodles and garnished with seaweed leaves, vegetables and tofu. It tasted fresh and looked very appetizing. However, the taste was too bland for me personally and it lacked a bit of spice, but that's just my personal taste.

The ingredients were fresh and balanced and the preparation was just sweet......... The individual ingredients were not used! I had kimchi shrimp soup which wasn't there Kimchi taste had a shrimp. Octopus salad What just tasted sugary sweet that bit of octopus was probably squid. Main course Rumored lunch The good fresh vegetables were drowned out by all the sugar, just horrible. I asked the boss if he could order the dishes without sugar if I came back. To which he said that wouldn't work since everything was already prepared and could add lemon juice. What nonsense. Result I will never come back!!!!!!!

Great restaurant with really great food. The service is also great. The quality is top notch. The sushi is especially good. We like coming here. It is one of our favorite restaurants, but you have to reserve early enough as the restaurant fills up quickly. We will come back anytime!

The best Sushi restaurant in Amberg and probably the whole of Bavaria. I have been eating here for years and it remains unbeatable. The atmosphere and presentation of the dishes is also top notch. On weekends it is a good idea to reserve a table in advance.

We have been to this restaurant so many times now and have never been disappointed. No matter how busy it is, the service is great and food and drinks come quickly. It tastes excellent and it is always beautifully prepared and varied. Went there again today to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was excellent as always.

Good vegetarian & vegan selection. I would like to have even more vegan options for dessert. We had a great meal and ambience on Christmas Day. The restaurant/staff is child-friendly. There were fries for the children. Thank you for that! 🫶

The Cocoon managed to convert me. I wasn't a big fan of fish sushi. Yesterday I dared to try it again and was extremely positively surprised! There were slight communication difficulties when ordering, but these were quickly and easily resolved. The ambience is just great! I love the chairs (even if the faux leather is unfortunately coming off almost everywhere) and the seasonal Christmas decorations are not exaggerated, but still super nice. I can only recommend the Cocoon. This won't be my last visit.

We live about half an hour away from Amberg but always find a way to pick up sushi from Cocoon because it’s truly delicious. The staff is always friendly and attentive, and we are happy to recommend and go back as often as possible.

Great place to go for sushi. This is a very cozy restaurant and the service is also superb. I would return here again. Reservation is encourage for bigger group.

This restaurant is simply amazing. For soup I used the delicious miso soup. The homemade iced tea tastes very good. Unfortunately, just a little too little for a price of almost seven euros. Since I was in the mood for sushi and the menu offers many types of sushi, I took “Sushi Master Tip”. A mix of several types of sushi for just under €27. The fish was very fresh and the decoration was very imaginative. The portion size is easily enough for one person. The service was very nice and always asked if everything was okay. When I paid I got a fortune cookie. Since everything went well in my opinion, I give this restaurant five stars. I will definitely come again on my next visit to Amberg.

Unfortunately it was far too warm. It took the service staff a very long time just to take the order and everyone was extremely overwhelmed. The food we ordered had a strange aftertaste. All in all, unfortunately a bad experience.

From the moment we walked in, we was greeted and welcomed. We loved the food, ohhhha and their Mojito was just so delish! Everything we had was good and on point. He made sure to take care of our girl ans that was a major plus for us!

Sushi was okay but not the best I've ever had. Drinks were good, but what disappointed was the service. It took almost 20 minutes after being seated for someone to ask what we would like to drink. It was our anniversary and I'll say, overall it was good but it wasn't worth the money.

Very fast service, very tasty food and very friendly service always make a visit to Cocoon an experience. Our highlight is the deluxe grill plate for two, meat, seafood and fish prepared with a lot of love.

This restaurant is one of the best Asian restaurants I've been to so far. The food tastes excellent and is presented very nicely. The eye eats accordingly. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant is very nicely and comfortably furnished. A place to eat excellently and feel good.

Unfortunately, the vegan sushi selection is not yet fully developed, but you can have all vegetarian dishes adapted accordingly. I'm looking forward to real vegan versions. The reception in this restaurant is excellent and you feel very comfortable. The interior and lighting are very comfortable and the service is always very friendly. Even if you just pick up your food for a short time, you will be provided with a drink here. Overall, highly recommended.

Food was far too little for the price, you can forget about getting full The taste is more interesting than tasty, I would rather go to a normal Chinese snack bar, at least it tastes good there. We wanted to finish our drinks in peace and had reserved the table for a long time, but as soon as we had eaten we started to get stares asking us to leave. The highlight was when we had to take the fortune cookies long before paying and everyone could read the look that we didn't need anymore. Once and never again. Ambience was fine

The food is very good, the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, what bothers me is the unfavorably overloaded decoration. This could be reduced a lot for some dishes. On the one hand, this would make handling easier and also relieve the workload on the staff because the plates are much lighter and cleaning is not so time-consuming.
