Great restaurant, super attentive staff, but not intrusive. Amazing food, delicious, plentiful, and worth every penny!

If you like Asian cuisine, you can really get everything your heart desires here. I was definitely excited. It wasn't that cheap, but the price-performance ratio was good. I can only recommend it.

The food was delicious. After we paid, the waitress came back to our table and whispered in my ear that my hair was showing my ears too much, pushing hers forward as she did so. I find such inappropriate comments unacceptable, especially from service staff. After the visit, I felt very unsettled. I found this comment completely uncalled for; it was even offensive.

This is undoubtedly one of the finest sushi restaurants I have ever visited. The location is excellent, and the customer service is exceptional.

Very good food. Sushi top, fresh and a great selection. Service is top notch. Top advice, great recommendations especially for intolerances. The schnapps recommendation after the meal was a Korean schnapps, which we really enjoyed. We'll definitely be more than happy to come back.

Very good and popular restaurant! You can spend a bit of money here to fill yourself up, but it is justified by the great ambience and good food. I really like the selection of sushi, main courses and drinks! I can recommend the restaurant to anyone in the area. :) But I would recommend making reservations in advance for dinner on a weekend evening. The waitresses are also very nice - especially a waiter doesn't lack a sense of humor ;)

We went there during the week without a reservation and still got a spot with a time slot. This shows how popular the restaurant is - it also filled up quickly. The menu is very extensive and offers a wide variety, so there is something for everyone. The service was consistently attentive and friendly – ​​really great! Prices are on the high end, but the food is worth every penny. The quality and taste convinced us once again. We come regularly and can fully recommend the restaurant!

Stopped in spontaneously, without a reservation. Even though the restaurant was quite full, we still managed to get a seat. Our food came very quickly, the service staff was super friendly and attentive. My personal highlight was the baked vanilla ice cream, especially the little fire show (flambé) that went with it, which was very cool. We'll be back to try the whole menu.

We went for sushi yesterday – and what can I say? Really delicious! The quality was top, everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. The portion was just right for two people - not too little, but also no food coma afterwards. Service was friendly and quick, so overall a really successful evening. Definitely coming back!

Hey foodies , If you need a place for comfort come here . Cocoon was such a nice, lovely and friendly place. From the Tea , to sushi , to curry and pho I will always recommend this place. The beautiful part about this restaurant is that , that the menu has both English and German . So for my out of towners ( don’t worry.) Number : 444 beef pho ( one of the best I’ve had in Germany) Chicken curry : 9/10 ( my partner had this, she was amazed . The chicken was cooked to perfection. The curry was cooked to perfection wasn’t too much nor too little) Bangkok autumn tea: 10/10 for me , 7/10 ( for my partner , she likes her teas sweet . Buuuut I know she’s going to try more ) Tokyo drift : 9/10 it was subtle drink , not strong which is something we love about adult beverages. A drink that had the right balance of fruity and savory. Rosemary touch : 10/10 was a beautiful balance between the rosemary and of course a touch of everything else . The presentation we were given were beautiful ( we just ate a little bit first better photos next time of the food before we dig in lol ) All in all : I would recommend this restaurant to everyone ! The best sushi in Amberg they have a large menu with all types of items from sushi to teriyaki bowls. I highly recommend the extreme inside out rolls

We were able to spend a great and delicious evening in the Cocoon. Ambience and service are great. The food is absolutely great too. The appetizer platter was plentiful and good. The main courses are authentic and prepared with attention to detail.

I ordered sushi for the first time today. The order wasn't ready yet and I had to wait. I was offered a glass of water while I waited. The food was great and the service upon pickup was impeccable and very friendly. Wasn't the last order for home. Thank you 🥢🥠

Food and service (especially service!!) top. The only thing that was a bit uncomfortable was the time pressure. We only had 25 minutes to eat before the main courses arrived. Ambiance is just slightly kitschy, I like it. Had homemade iced tea and something reminiscent of Sprite. My companion 2 cocktails, everything wonderful.

There wasn't enough on the plate for the price. The taste is very good, I hope the portions will be bigger again.

As sushi lovers from Bremen, we have to be honest: you rarely find such quality in the north. We felt incredibly comfortable on our first visit. The service is warm and attentive, the sushi is first-class and prepared with great attention to detail. The ingredients are fresh, the presentation is impressive and the ambience invites you to relax - stylish, cozy and authentic. The price-performance ratio is also more than fair, especially for the quality offered. If you are in Amberg and are looking for an outstanding Asian restaurant, you should not miss this experience. Absolute recommendation – we will definitely come back!

Very friendly and courteous service. Food was very good. Busy restaurant, so reservations are essential. We got there half an hour early, but still got our seat straight away. Food can also be picked up. There are a lot of customers at the counter, so request a table a little away from the counter if possible. Any time.

Cocoon - a restaurant with class. It is not the beautiful ambience with light wood and dark decor that attracts people to the store. Nor are the polite and professional staff who know how to serve and internalize the phrase "customer is king". It's the delicious food. They value appearance, taste and freshness. Probably one of the biggest competitors to the other Asian restaurants in Amberg. Definitely worth a visit. About my order Sushi vegetarian Ramen vegetarian The sushi was beautifully prepared and tasted fresh. The portion, which seemed small at first, filled each of us and we regretted the size of the order. The ramen was made with thick noodles and garnished with seaweed leaves, vegetables and tofu. It tasted fresh and looked very appetizing. However, the taste was too bland for me personally and it lacked a bit of spice, but that's just my personal taste.

The ingredients were fresh and balanced and the preparation was just sweet......... The individual ingredients were not used! I had kimchi shrimp soup which wasn't there Kimchi taste had a shrimp. Octopus salad What just tasted sugary sweet that bit of octopus was probably squid. Main course Rumored lunch The good fresh vegetables were drowned out by all the sugar, just horrible. I asked the boss if he could order the dishes without sugar if I came back. To which he said that wouldn't work since everything was already prepared and could add lemon juice. What nonsense. Result I will never come back!!!!!!!

Great restaurant with really great food. The service is also great. The quality is top notch. The sushi is especially good. We like coming here. It is one of our favorite restaurants, but you have to reserve early enough as the restaurant fills up quickly. We will come back anytime!

The best Sushi restaurant in Amberg and probably the whole of Bavaria. I have been eating here for years and it remains unbeatable. The atmosphere and presentation of the dishes is also top notch. On weekends it is a good idea to reserve a table in advance.

We have been to this restaurant so many times now and have never been disappointed. No matter how busy it is, the service is great and food and drinks come quickly. It tastes excellent and it is always beautifully prepared and varied. Went there again today to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was excellent as always.

Good vegetarian & vegan selection. I would like to have even more vegan options for dessert. We had a great meal and ambience on Christmas Day. The restaurant/staff is child-friendly. There were fries for the children. Thank you for that! 🫶

The Cocoon managed to convert me. I wasn't a big fan of fish sushi. Yesterday I dared to try it again and was extremely positively surprised! There were slight communication difficulties when ordering, but these were quickly and easily resolved. The ambience is just great! I love the chairs (even if the faux leather is unfortunately coming off almost everywhere) and the seasonal Christmas decorations are not exaggerated, but still super nice. I can only recommend the Cocoon. This won't be my last visit.

We live about half an hour away from Amberg but always find a way to pick up sushi from Cocoon because it’s truly delicious. The staff is always friendly and attentive, and we are happy to recommend and go back as often as possible.

This restaurant is simply amazing. For soup I used the delicious miso soup. The homemade iced tea tastes very good. Unfortunately, just a little too little for a price of almost seven euros. Since I was in the mood for sushi and the menu offers many types of sushi, I took “Sushi Master Tip”. A mix of several types of sushi for just under €27. The fish was very fresh and the decoration was very imaginative. The portion size is easily enough for one person. The service was very nice and always asked if everything was okay. When I paid I got a fortune cookie. Since everything went well in my opinion, I give this restaurant five stars. I will definitely come again on my next visit to Amberg.
