The best asian restaurant ,where we ate. The food was amazing,from the starters to the main dishes to the deserts. Athomsphere was really pleasant.We came here two times in three days. We would praise Tony waiter and all his other colleagues.

We spontaneously ended up in this nice restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the excellent service, the great atmosphere and of course the taste of the food. The Duck Cross is particularly recommended - thank you very much! We'll be back...

We had a great experience from food to staff. Everyone is extremely welcoming and very friendly. We have tried noodles and rice dishes with different meat. Everything we ate was great but I have to say the duck was spectacular I would highly recommend it. I will definitely come back!!

Dear Five River Team, I had a delicious meal with a colleague this evening. The staff was incredibly friendly; if I had to rate that alone, I would give it a solid 5 stars. But: - Our main course was brought while we were still eating our appetizers. Typically, you wait until the appetizer is finished and ideally ask if the main course should be served. Most guests enjoy sitting and chatting in a restaurant and don't want to be rushed. - We were repeatedly approached by different waiters throughout the meal, asking if everything was okay and if we wanted anything else. This was very attentive, but seemed uncoordinated and ultimately a bit intrusive. - They repeatedly checked to see if plates and glasses were empty so they could be cleared. No guest wants a crowded table. But usually, courses are waited to be cleared until everyone at the table has finished eating. Unfortunately, this created an unnecessarily hectic and uncomfortable atmosphere. You should urgently raise awareness among your employees about this. Fortunately, we're not in the US, where dinner and enjoyment are handled differently and guests are served as quickly as possible to maximize throughput. Best regards DE

Very friendly staff and great food

We found this restaurant by chance. Looked a bit expensive and touristy, but it wasn't too bad. We ate delicious sushi at a very affordable price and also had various drinks and cocktails for only 85 euros. The food is of very good quality! The delicious sushi is definitely recommended! The sushi rolls are also large in size, so we were a bit surprised at how quickly our stomachs were filled. The atmosphere and service were also very good. Friendly staff and a nice energy in the restaurant. In short, we will come again when we are in Berlin again.

We were invited there for a birthday. The restaurant is full. Nevertheless, the service worked very well and everyone was very satisfied with their food. The only downer was that the birthday party was divided into two rooms.

Beautiful, modern interpretations of Asian dishes. Beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. My mango salad with duck was very tasty and I have rarely had such tender duck. The staff is very helpful and attentive.

I can only agree with the other positive reviews here. I have rarely had such a pleasant and reasonably priced experience in a restaurant. A friend and I came across it by chance and were more than pleasantly surprised. The staff is friendly, the food came quickly and tasted fantastic, with the udon noodles being a particular highlight, and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. I rarely write reviews, but in my opinion Five Rivers deserves nothing but 5 stars! 🌟

Update 04.2025: Finally sitting outside again at Five Rivers. The sushi was again very fresh and tasty. The starters are also highly recommended. What we always notice positively is that the service is always extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you very much and see you next time 👋👋👋 Great starters. Delicious and fresh spring rolls, the best baked wontons I've ever eaten, great chicken skewers. Sushi was very fresh and good. Pasta dishes in the large plates are something different, good with surprising spices and stock. Very happy again

Absolutely perfect! The service is incredibly good and the food was delicious! I experience a visit to a restaurant like this less and less often and write a review for once.

Came here today for lunch as I was passing by the area. I was excited to give this place a try, but was highly disappointed and turned off once I got my drink. I got a Leche drink because it sounded good. Had cucumbers,, and pomegranate inside. I get my drink and I always inspect and look at my drink before drinking it. I do that anywhere I go. I look inside of my drink, and as I’m about to take a sip, I see something moving. Looking closely, I see a bug in my drink. I’m not sure what kind of bug it is, but I’ve included pictures. I stared at my drink, looking closely to make sure I was saying what I was really seeing. It was indeed a bug. I got someone’s attention to let them know. The first guy that I spoke to about it, I don’t think he understood English, so my waiter came by, and I explained to him what I was looking at. He tried to gaslight me into thinking that it wasn’t an insect that was in my drink. He told me because the drink is fresh. That’s all that it is. I purposely took a photo in case they tried to deny that it was an insect. I wasn’t rude about it, I was actually more polite than I should have been. I tried to explain that I didn’t want to drink anymore, but they made me a new one. At least they claimed it was a new drink. Even after finding an insect in my drink, I was still charged for the drink. Anywhere else, they would’ve removed the cost of the drink from the tab. This is also the first place I’ve been to where I was charged for tapwater….TAP water. I did still end up eating here and of all the places in Berlin that I’ve had sushi, this was my least favorite and the most expensive. I would not eat here again whenever I’m in town.

The service was very fast, polite, the food is perfect, fresh, just prepared, the duck salad and duck itself just perfect, prepared by the book, crispy outside midium rare inside.

Solo pasamos unos días en Berlín y fuimos aquí dos veces. Gran comida y servicio y todo a un precio razonable. El personal era amable y muy eficiente. Recomiendo encarecidamente ir aquí para cualquiera que busque comida asiática en el centro de la ciudad.

Despite having a reservation, we had to wait 20 minutes for our table. After we got a table, we had to move to another table after 5 minutes. Although there was a juice and a bottle of water on the house, we still didn't have a relaxing stay. The food was ok, but nothing special.

Delicious food at reasonable prices, really friendly and courteous staff and a comfortably furnished interior. Small negative point: the air in the restaurant was quite warm and stuffy.

Tourist restaurant. 0815 food, typical currently popular mix of Vietnamese and sushi. But staff very friendly.

There were four of us, two of us had variations of the duck breast as a main course and we agreed that it couldn't be better. Never had such a perfect duck breast, crispy on the outside and tender and rosé on the inside. I have no idea how they manage that. My starter was the tuna tartare with avocado and it was also flawless. Crystal clear recommendation for the restaurant, reservation is recommended. We were here early Friday evening and it was really crowded.

The food must be quite tasty, but we couldn't get in despite a reservation. We booked for seven o'clock. The restaurant was full and we had been waiting in line outside for fifteen minutes. The highlight was when they brought people from the back of the line to the front to give them an open spot. There must be a good reason, but we haven't been told. We just left and had a (delicious) meal somewhere else. There has been no response to our reservation. I thought this was poor hosting.

Oops... what happened here Five Rivers has actually been our favorite restaurant for two years... but today it was underground: the rice was completely overcooked, so you thought you had rice pudding on your plate... there was so much glutamate in the food that some colleagues barely made it back to the office... in any case, very scary... hopefully that was a slip-up

The food is delicious, comes quickly, and everyone comes promptly despite the large crowd. Attentive service despite a very full restaurant. Here again it's a matter of taste, it's too loud for me when it's full. But that's not the case for everyone.

Visitamos Berlín la semana pasada y nos alojamos cerca. Fuimos a este restaurante dos veces porque la comida era increíble y nuestro camarero era tan cálido, amable y acogedor. Recomiendo encarecidamente si se aloja en la zona de Mitte de Berlín. Gran precio también.

The duck was wonderful!! Delicate and pink - perfect! Unfortunately they forgot to separate the coriander and so I couldn't enjoy my Pho with all the ingredients. I can't say anything about the service and ambience, we picked up.
