Five Rivers Restaurant in Berlin

I can't rate the food as our reservation was simply ignored and we had to wait in the cold with no result. Because of the large crowds that go in there, they don't feel the need to show respect to the individual guest. Has nothing to do with service or anything else. Never again; and I would advise that to everyone else too

Friendly welcome and good food. I was happy to follow this recommendation.

Very friendly waiters, unfortunately it always took a little while to get their attention but the food was tasty and it was big portions. Also, it's a pretty big restaurant but nicely decorated and setup.

This is a very good restaurant if you like asian food. Large and tasteful portions at a good price. Highly recommended

I liked the ambience of the restaurant. Sashimi mix bowl from lunch was good. Service was friendly, quick and efficient even when several waiters came to the table. Seems to be popular with local offices and tourists

We managed to find a free table, the service is super quick. The waiters were extremely kind. I was happy with our food. Udon noodles are recommended.

Very good food, quick preparation, friendly staff. Card payments only start at 20 euros, which is rarely possible for lunch without drinks. If colleagues pay together, then that's fine. The lunch menu is appealing, varied and reasonably priced.

We made a short-term reservation on Saturday evening for 14 of us with 8 children and we were served very well. Very tasty and authentic, served in beautiful dishes, tasted great. We can highly recommend it!

A really great restaurant!! We were served straight away, just picked up some sushi and even though it was really busy we only had to wait a very short time. And another big plus are the drinks that we were given right at the beginning. Great recommendation, nice service!!

The food and service were excellent!

All I can say is perfect. Praise to the operators. It's a bit cramped due to the location, but the service and the fabulous food make up for that. Is recommended but only with reservation.

Amazing place for Vietnamese cuisine. Not crowded and spacious. It has a cozy atmosphere. Food was amazing and friendly staff.

Everyone was right about the duck! Very flavorful and crispy. I got the udon stir-fry with duck. Also got a maki roll and the ratio of fish and rice was perfect. The fish was fresh and delicious.

I happened to be there today, what can I say?! I was thrilled! I had udon with a classic “crispy duck”, what convinced me as a chef was simply that this duck was cooked to perfection. Not raw and not as dry and dead fried as you usually get! I told my companions that this was the best Asian food I've ever had! Absolute recommendation!!! Price performance on top! Kind regards

The best Asian restaurant in Berlin! Great food at acceptable prices with nice service and friendly waiters. It is often very crowded in the evening. If you still want a table, you should reserve. The outside area is also nice with the wooden tables and benches. The best thing are the various cocktails and homemade fruit spritzers and juices! These are a little more expensive, but definitely worth it. Anyone who really wants to enjoy fresh food at good prices MUST go there :)

I was here with a larger group and we ate really well, were able to sit separately and have a great chat. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and the staff is very friendly. You can pay by card from €20.

Very tasty food and really excellent quality of meat and fish (in our case salmon, tuna, duck and beef). A little more courage with the seasoning would be desirable, i.e. coriander, chili and soy sauce.

When I first saw the menu, I thought that the prices were a bit high, as I just wanted a quick meal (around 18 euros per portion). But in the end, the food was really so tasty and the portions so well served that I now think that they have an excellent cost benefit. I’ve paid more than 30 euros per portion on other Asian restaurants and wasn’t as satisfied as I was here.

Restourant was very close to our hotel, so we went there. We thought that according to reviews it should be a good restourant. And it was exceptional!! Amazing food! Wonderful place. Highly recommending it!

TL;DR - Outstanding No. 134 - Appetizer #2 was good - Delicious homemade drinks Today I had number 134 with tuna and I have to say it was really, really tasty. The tuna was nice and tender and the sauce wasn't too overwhelming. Starter #2 was also really good, but my 10/10 I particularly enjoyed the passion fruit drink. I can highly recommend it

One meal came 10 minutes before everyone else had their meal. You had to order drinks more often so that they were brought to you.

Cocktails were very reasonable for the price of 8 euros, which is already a first plus. We also ordered delicious tempura sushi with butterfish, which was served very quickly. 10/10 for that! The main course: undon noodles and fine noodles with nuts I give again a 10/10. Large portions, refined flavors, in short, a pleasure for the taste buds. So I highly recommend this place

It was worth finding this place. Sushi and noodles with duck were delicious. Especially the duck was extraordinary soft and so yummy. It would be great to have this place in our city.

Simply delicious!! Very aromatic, fresh and authentic Thai cuisine. The service was super accommodating and friendly. The udon noodles with salmon were excellent. The Mango Lassi arrived on a summer day without ice cubes, but ice was brought straight after request.

We did not expect to come across a place like this in Germany, the truth is that it pleasantly surprised us. The dishes are hearty and exquisite.

We had nothing to complain about except that it's best not to order alcoholic cocktails. We ordered a mojito and, without meaning any offense, Asians are less likely to know how to mix these drinks well. ;) The food was great, the service was very friendly, the drink was taken back and remade at no cost. A relaxed environment. We'd love to come back too.

We wanted to eat here on Saturday and I asked the waiter if there was gluten-free food for my husband, he said no problem and we then wanted to sit outside at a table for four, it was 30 degrees. The waiter then said two people had to always sit inside, so we reluctantly sat inside, the waiter then brought us the menu and there wasn't a single food on the menu except sushi, we then left the restaurant again. Since the restaurant was almost next to our hotel, We walked past it at least twice every day and there were always two people or even just one person sitting outside and we were annoyed every time. Conclusion: the waiter didn't want us, service desert Germany, if I could give zero points, I would do, but there are also restaurants nearby where you can sit outside with two people, get gluten-free food and are treated kindly

Wanted to reserve a table in the afternoon. I was told that this wasn't necessary and that I should just come. I did that and then the table was refused to me, with the explanation that you had to reserve????? Too bad! One employee doesn't know what the other is doing... it doesn't matter... Berlin is big and there are other options

Food: Pho Xao with crispy baked vegi fillet tasted fantastic. Service: The waiter was very friendly and tried to make sure we had a nice evening. Ambiance: Nice, inviting restaurant in a rather quiet area.

Upscale Asian restaurant, great location near Friedrich-Str. train station ☀️ really good wines (Riesling) at reasonable prices. You can sit very nicely outside as well as inside. A great modern, well-kept atmosphere. The salmon teriyaki and the wonton soup tasted very good and are really highly recommended 👏☀️☀️

I had a chance to get some jasmine tea and sushi in this amazing restaurant. The jasmine tea was such a treat! Well beyond the usual jasmine teas one often gets. The sushi was superb - one of the best I've had in Europe as well as Asia. The service was extremely pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere was serene. If I'm ever there again, I'll make sure to revisit.

Sushi was very good, had the first sushi menu with salmon (as of July 2024). But it is already very expensive.

I had the Udon Xoe with duck. The duck was one of the best I've ever had from an Asian restaurant. These are often seen as dark brown and slightly dried out by Asians. Here it was perfectly pink with a super delicious crust. Super tender! I will gladly come again!

The individual components of the sushi were of good quality. Unfortunately, the sushi itself was wrapped too loosely and or too large. Some of the nori sheets were still dry and “crispy”... we also had a curry, which unfortunately wasn't that great. Very loud and a bit hectic. But the staff are kind and helpful.
