BLESS Restaurant in Berlin

It's a huge restaurant, and we had about 4 birthdays celebrated, one big group which was obnoxiously loud and gave part restaurant vibes, the music is like in a nightclub and it was impossible to understand anything, the staff was running around and constantly brushing against my chair which was on their "runway" The food came out after 5 minutes of ordering, same with desserts. The food also tasted as if it was already cooked and just reheated. The meat was tough, and the flavors bland. Very disappointing. I constantly had to get the staffs attention to order another drink because they were so busy. The staff was very friendly and the cocktails were nice but I would never come back. Almost any Asian restaurant that I've been to was better than this.

Bless at Gendarmenmarkt impresses with Asian inspiration, beautifully presented dishes, and unique flavor combinations. The pleasant atmosphere and attentive staff complete the experience. Highly recommended: The perfectly fried purple octopus in an aromatic beetroot and coconut curry sauce – a delight!

I really enjoyed everything from the vibrant atmosphere to the tasty food. I had the octopus and you could really taste a lot of flavors harmonizing well together.

I had the octopus - the first one in my life that I genuinely enjoyed: not too oily, not at all gummy. Just a tiny bit toasted on the outside. The marinated beetroot - I have never enjoyed beetroot so much! The corn puree and the sea asparagus were tasty. The peapods perfectly crunchy. Long story short: amazing restaurant with great food and great atmosphere. Staff was friendly. The dishes were thought through and served nicely. The coctail menu was also very interesting.

If there would be possible to give this review 10 stars, I would! This was clearly the most delicious meal I’ve had in Berlin, and maybe the most delicious meal I’ve ever had in a restaurant in my life. We were a group of 6, and all of us were extatic about the food, we couldn’t stop saying how delicious it is, throughout the meal. The flavours are simply mind-blowing! Every bite was trully a pleasure!

Vietnamese or Indochinese French is cooked here, so great 😊 As a starter I tried the “Viet Tacos with Shrimp”, so fresh, so crunchy and so well thought out 🤩 I paid €52 for a cocktail, starter, main and dessert. Amazing food, really tasty and beautifully presented

I don’t share the general enthusiasm. The service was 4-star, I had to stand in the doorway and wait for someone to pay attention to the guests. The reservation indicated a table by the window, but they offered it in the center of the room. When I reminded him about the reservation, they still seated me at the window. The food was disappointing. There is no variety of flavors, everything is drenched in the same sweet sauce. The taco is ok, but you can really taste the oil. The scallops are sweet, no truffle. It seems like there are 4 scallops, but in fact it is one, cut into 3 parts plus one slice. Some dumplings are okay, some are overcooked, the dough is overcooked. Surf and Turf - the beef is just right on one side, but overcooked in the middle and on the other side. So are shrimp. Both sauces are too sweet. The lamb is ok, as is the octopus. Overall the food is a C grade. For dinner for 2 we paid 172 euros before tip.

The steak was perfectly prepared and the wasabi sour cocktail went really well and tasted great! I highly recommend everyone to eat here at least once!

I had reserved a table for 12 people at Bless Berlin for Wednesday, March 7, 2025 at 7 p.m. I arrived at the restaurant on time with five other guests, but unfortunately only one table was prepared for six people. After I pointed this out to the waiter, he confirmed the reservation and explained that four more seats from an adjacent table would be added once the current guests had left. Shortly before the remaining six people arrived, the staff began preparing the additional seats. However, this process was hectic, so my guests had to wait until the table was completely ready. In addition, the space for 12 people was quite limited, as the table was originally only intended for ten people. The service was still excellent. The staff were very attentive and extremely polite - they stopped by regularly to refill wine and water. Everything went smoothly when ordering and the food was served without any problems. The food itself was outstanding: perfectly prepared, excellent in taste and beautifully presented. However, a big negative point was the noise in the restaurant. The acoustics were so bad that it was almost impossible to have a conversation with the other person. This significantly affected the atmosphere. After dinner, we quickly paid and decided to enjoy our dessert and coffee at Hotel Adlon instead - accompanied by beautiful live piano music, which was a wonderful end to the evening. Conclusion: I will definitely visit Bless Berlin again - but only as a couple and with earplugs! 😉

A bad and not recommended experience, I sat in a restaurant after being told that the table is for only for a short time. I waited half an hour and no waiter came to me.. I was completely ignored. Terrible place, I don't recommend going near it!!

I went to Bless for the first time with a friend on the eve of my birthday. The food was not only very tasty, but also attractively presented. I had the skin-fried salmon fillet with coconut curry sauce and my friend had the pandan duck. Both very good. There is also a plentiful selection of cocktails that we will definitely order on our next visit. Fine dining but good value for money. We'd love to come back.

Fruitful service, unfriendly hostess, she put dirty dishes on our table, from another table right under our hands, there is no price of water on the table. The water looks like a compliment from the restaurant, but we paid €8 per bottle for it!!! No tips, but the food was delicious.

A fairly high-priced Asian restaurant with a fusion of Vietnamese and French cuisine, which should probably be attributed to the Indochina period. The table could be a little bigger and the food tasted good.

I had dinner here tonight with my daughter and a friend while visiting Berlin from DC. Reviews didn’t lie. EXCELLENT FOOD! Duck, octopus and shrimp were amazing. Food at other tables looked gorgeous. Will definitely go back.

Lovely food in ample quantity, excellent service at decent prices. The only thing I would say is that it is crowded. I would recommend that they reduce the number of tables inside a bit.

Dans un quartier chic, restaurant au style feutré et tout aussi chic par sa clientèle. 1ere impression très bonne sur le décor; très mauvaise sur l'ambiance car extrêmement bruyant, on a presque du mal à s'entendre. Au rayon des prix, plutôt fourchette haute. Pour les goûts, c'est moyen à très bon. Les entrées à partager à 2. Tacos et gyozas bons, poulets frits et tempura sans plus. Le canard confit 12 heures en plat est vraiment excellent même si les betteraves en accompagnement n'ont pas vraiment d'intérêt. La gaufre au kimchi est très bonne. Le poulpe pour ma femme est aussi bon à très bon. Pour le dessert on l'attend toujours après avoir relancé pour la carte et la commande. Le service n'est clairement pas au niveau (même si la serveuse était sympathique et tentait de rattraper l'erreur de son collègue)

Celebrated my birthday here with my friends. It was a lovely dinner, food was delicious, drinks came out quickly and staff were so kind and attentive. This will be my birthday (anything) restaurant as long as I’m in Berlin. LOVE LOVE LOVE

Very cool restaurant with food from Indochina. The furnishings are modern and yet have an Asian touch. The dishes are visually very elaborately decorated. Gimmicky. The place is well set with beautiful looking dishes. the atmosphere may be attractive to others decoration is good and it is a lively atmosphere. For me too big. took our orders really quick and starters arrived before cocktails. so there is no attention to detail Starters were greasy and not flavourful. Wine is well priced my Octopus was only ok. Apparently the Duck is good The sticky rice for dessert was very disappointing.

Very accommodating staff. We didn't have reservations and the place was packed. They found space for us and we were not disappointed. The staff was helpful, friendly and quick with our orders. The food was creative and fun. I can't wait to come back. The story about the owners is amazing! We are blessed to be able to eat at your establishment.

Excellent food for meat eaters and vegans! Perfect service: always on hand but discreet. The ambience is absolutely something to behold: the perfect combination of modern, Asian and cozy. Also very good value for money! I haven't felt so comfortable and eaten so well in a long time!

I really love the food it is so Euroasia Vietnamese. A real taste bomb in the mouth, whether it was a starter or the main course, I was only able to eat something so brilliant at Tim Raue's and it was heaven on earth. Service very good and friendly. The location was also great, so I only gave it 3 stars because it was really loud and crowded. Which is of course understandable given the brilliant compositions when it comes to food.

A very attractive restaurant with nice staff and really good food, including the drinks lemonades and shakes. We'll be happy to come back. Lunch was served until 4 p.m. and we were still allowed to order at 3:55 p.m. Very nice.

Food was excellent. The salmon portions were really large and cooked to perfection. The objection that the white wine wasn't really cold was simply ignored. What was really annoying was that the waiters were talking loudly to the bartenders across our table.

An absolute experience, the food, ambience and service were impeccable. The employees enjoy their job and you can tell that (always attentive and with a smile on their face). Even without a reservation, I didn't even wait 5 minutes on a Friday evening! You have conquered my heart with delicious food and unusual cocktails 🍸 As soon as I'm in Berlin, I'll definitely come back!

I absolutely loved the place. The atmosphere is very cosy and above all great location to take a walk after you eat. Great staff and food was exceptional. Burst of flavours in every bite. Service is also very fast. Would highly recommend for a special occasion or just for a spot to impress your date.

Very odd. Dumplings are average,tough to distinguish. Pandan duck, well take a confit of duck leg, cover it with an inspidid average soy base sauce, daikon save the texture profile. Ice cream had bad freezer burn But really. The whole theme of this place wants to be whimsical but fails in the execution. Service is efficient and there is a book of an an English menu. My advice is leave it to the German locals who clearly do not know better.

One of the best Asian restaurants I’ve been to in Berlin. The decor is just amazing, and that wowness is very much carried into their menu. Delicious food and creative cocktails makes this the perfect dining experience.

Local with an appealing atmosphere. You feel good. The service is attentive and friendly. The quality of the food is not perfect but it is good. The dishes served could have been a little hotter. The cocktails are recommended. Overall, the restaurant is perhaps a bit too expensive. It's probably due to the location. Until the turn of the year 2024/2025 there was a recommended day ticket valid until 5:00 p.m. This has currently been changed and the card is unfortunately only valid until 4:00 p.m.

Our first meal in Berlin and it was well worth it, came to bless on New Year’s Eve for a meal and was very impressed with everything the food was great and had a fantastic range of choice with vegan options also available, the service was spot on out waitress was very friendly and helpful Will definitely be back if we return to Berlin!

Craziness!!! The ambience invites you to linger and enjoy; you immediately feel at home. The service is very friendly and very accommodating. The kitchen is simply sensational. As soon as you study the menu you realize that there is going to be a taste explosion. The prepared plates leave nothing to be desired. You can see and taste that the kitchen only uses high-quality and selected raw materials to create its dishes. The drinks are also a taste experience. We will definitely visit Bless again on our next visit to Berlin. Many thanks to the entire team!

Very unusual restaurant with very attentive service. Unfortunately the piano music was missing, hence only four stars. A young and international audience was my impression. The food came to the table quickly and a waitress was always nearby.

The food was good, but overpriced. Only the octopus is worth the money. But the price of 95 euros for a plate of assorted dishes is not worth it. But the most unpleasant thing was that the waiters did not let you enjoy the food and the atmosphere in peace. Even with an unfinished plate, they already bring you a menu so that you can choose something extra and always ask if you want anything else. Plastic flowers also spoil the impression, in such a far from cheap restaurant you can allocate money for a fresh bouquet of flowers.

Came here for New Years Eve and what a taste sensation! The food was incredible. We got a glass of champagne on arrival and had a 3 course set menu. Service was brilliant. Every staff member was working so hard to make sure every guest had a good experience. Our wine glasses were never empty. The food was so delicious and worth every penny. This was a lovely experience for New Year as a couple in a new city.

An inequity between my expectations and the meal tasted. I expected to find the marriage between France and Asian cuisine, unfortunately I did not get on the plane to Paris. However, you will not die of hunger when you leave this restaurant.

WOW! We came here for our 8th year anniversary during our city break to Berlin and I’ve never experienced such amazing customer service alongside beautiful cocktails and scrumptious food. We honestly felt like VIPs, we were wished a happy anniversary by not only our waitress but another 2 members of staff there; we got 2 free glasses of champagne AND a free cocktail! Highly recommend the gyozas starter, rack of lamb, duck leg, and the wasabi sour. Thank you to all working the evening of the 22nd December, your amazing hospitality didn’t go unnoticed. If we come back to Berlin, we’ll definitely be visiting Bliss again!

Fantastisk service. Tjenerne er meget opmærksomme. De har et stort udvalg af cocktails, som laves af top professionelle bartendere. Vi besøgte stedet nytårsaften og fik deres 3 retters nytårsmenu. Romantisk atmosfære og dæmpet belysning. Stedet kan anbefales hvis man ønsker en ekstra lækker og romantisk restaurant oplevelse.

Food is very good, ambience is a bit loud

Great address in Mitte. Very nice ambience combined with very good food is the case here. The service is very courteous and the prices are fair for the middle of a cosmopolitan city. There are only deductions for dessert, others can do it better.

It's the only place I've ever gone to based on Google ratings and regretted it. The place is very crowded, tables are very close to each other and noisy. Also, the lighting in the place is almost non-existent. You can't see the food you're eating, you can't hear your own voice while ordering, and of course the waiter can't hear you either. Despite the crowd, your orders came unexpectedly quickly, and the taco-style products we ordered were cold. In summary, the taste of the food was inadequate and the venue did not meet our expectations. 3 of us went and none of us were satisfied.

There were more than 10 people at the neighboring table, and despite the restaurant being full, they were given another seat for enough people. The food was fantastic.

We wanted to try something new and stumbled across Blossom while looking for a suitable restaurant. The first impression was totally positive and we simply made a reservation. We came in and were so impressed by the atmosphere there. It's warm and cozy and yet somehow you're right in the middle of the action. The staff is very friendly and the food came quickly in each course and was really tasty! In terms of price, we also think it's really okay - in our opinion, the price-performance ratio is right! Is worth a visit!

We were there for lunch, three dishes to choose from with a starter and all for a slim price. The quality is absolutely great and even the heavy boys will be fed up!

I’ve been there in October and it was pretty busy. Even with a full packed restaurant the waiters, chefs and bartenders delivered. We were a big group of 15-20 people and everyone was impressed. Their food is a well made fusion and the particular flavors go so well together. I already have a new reservation for a small dinner date and I can’t wait to be there again.

The food was very excellent. 5 stars. I reserved the restaurant three weeks in advance. Despite the early reservation, we were seated right at the counter. The waiter leaned over me to get napkins, straws, etc. It was also very cold. People were constantly going in and out, and every time a cold draft came in. We left after 40 minutes. We were not offered drinks. Our order was simply processed.

The food is exceptionally good. We had several starters and the Christmas dish as a main course. All of them were very well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The cocktails are amazing! By now we've probably tried all the cocktails on the menu.

This place is simply a revelation. We were there for a casual business lunch. Everyone found what they were looking for on the menu, the food was excellent and arrived quickly. The service was very friendly and proactive. We felt very comfortable and drove home feeling full when we left the restaurant. It wasn't the last time we were there. Express recommendation! 🙏🏼✨️
