Delicious food and attentive service. We will definitely come back again. However, reserving a table seems necessary, as the restaurant is quite busy even during the week. Excellent value for money.

I came here spontaneously without a reservation, but I was alone. I recommend making a reservation if you're in a group. I got a table quickly. Friendly staff, fast service, and the food was delicious 👌 I had fried rice noodles with vegetables and chicken.

The giant menu with dishes from across Asia was my first indicator that the food might disappoint me, but it was close to my hotel after a long travel day and the broth in my pho was at least pretty tasty. On the downside, the beef was not the expected thin slices of brisket or any other traditional cut for the dish. And mt wife's beef bowl was missing a lot of flavor from my couple bites.

Update November 12, 2025 Mai Kudamm is a real highlight for lovers of Asian cuisine! The food is fantastic – very tasty and varied, with flavors from all over Asia. There's truly something for everyone. The service is friendly and attentive, if not the fastest, but overall very good. The atmosphere is a bit dark, but cozy and pleasant. The prices are average and perfectly match the quality of the food. It's quite busy at lunchtime and in the evening, so if you're looking for peace and quiet, go during off-peak hours – it's especially relaxed then. I'm definitely coming back, because everything here is just right! 2023: Nice location with good food. Somewhat dark ambiance, but nicely done. Worth a visit.

We visited the restaurant on a Saturday evening during peak hours, and even without a reservation, we were able to get a table within about 10 minutes — which was a pleasant surprise. The service was efficient: our order was taken quickly and the food arrived in less than half an hour. The sushi was excellent — very fresh and well-prepared — and the duck was cooked perfectly, tender and not overdone. I’ve also been here for lunch before and had the salmon bowl, which was wonderful as well. Overall, a great dining experience. I would definitely recommend making a reservation if you plan to visit on the weekend, as it does get busy

Super delicious, great atmosphere

Very cosy place where the atmosphere gets you into the asian mood already. I had udon noodles as my main and it was very tasty ! Had mochi ice cream as a desert which was average.

We went there for dinner with our two kids and ordered a variety of dishes from the menu. Everything was absolutely fresh, delicious, beautifully presented, and the portions were appropriate for the price. According to the menu, no MSG was used, which we greatly appreciated. The restaurant is nicely decorated, though a bit cramped when it's full. Strollers can be a bit tricky then. The service was excellent and friendly, and the staff treated the children with great care.

Even on Saturday evening, a spontaneous visit without a reservation was possible. The selection of sushi is extensive, and the prices are reasonable. Many appetizers and other main courses are also available—fish, meat, vegetarian—there's something for everyone. The sushi was highly recommended: a good consistency (not too soft and not too firm), the fish was very tender, and the entire menu was attractively presented. The service was very friendly, and everything was quite efficient.

We went there because of the very good reviews. The restaurant made a nice impression. However, I was bothered by the smell outside the door as soon as we entered. Apparently, the kitchen exhaust vent is right next to the entrance. It smelled strongly of frying oil. The service was quick and friendly. The food arrived very fast. We ordered sushi, which wasn't very fresh. The crispy chicken was nothing special. All in all, we didn't enjoy the food. There was nothing particularly special about it, and the taste wasn't great either. We won't be eating there again.

This place is so bad, the worst place ever in Berlin. It is literally cheating walk-in customers. Waitress is dishonest. And there is a trickish waiter with a full mouth of frauds when their scheme is exposed. Watch out your wallet!!! Triple check the bill IF you want to take the high risk dining at this Black Shop.

Best to book for dinner, this place was packed. We had a 15min wait but it was worth it. Food came before drinks, it was that busy and it took some effort to call for service but the food was good. I Don't recommend the pina colada, it tasted of frothy milk. the starters were nice and we all enjoyed our mains. Nice rich curry sauce, tasted hot and fresh. I would go back again

I was asked at the entrance how many people were staying. When I replied that I wanted to eat alone, a menu was thrown onto a small, uncomfortable single table. The toilet and sink didn't seem very hygienic. I ordered a red curry with just vegetables and a juice spritzer. The juice spritzer was very thin. The curry was the worst curry I've ever had in my life. The sauce had hardly any flavor. The rice was cheap parboiled rice, which doesn't go well with curry. The acoustics in the restaurant were terrible. You could hear all the conversations from the other tables, as well as the coffee machine at the bar, and the sizzling and clattering of pots and pans from the kitchen. If you look up, you can see that there are many pipes and ventilation shafts running under the ceiling. Although everything is painted black, that doesn't help at all with the acoustics or aesthetics. I found the ambience awful.

There's a truly wide selection of different dishes, and what we had was truly excellent! It's also in a great location, as it's on a side street off Ku'damm, where you can quietly eat outside, sit, and chat! The service was also top-notch.

We had a great meal here. For my starter, I had a wakame salad. I eat wakame salad whenever it's available. This one is number one on my list. Whatever that mayonnaise was on top, it took the salad to another level. My wife had the wonton soup. The broth had a strong chicken flavor and it was generously filled. For the main course, we had various appetizers, which we shared. The service was super smart and had everything placed on one plate. Everything was really delicious and reasonably priced. We'll be back.

Best Vietnamese food I’ve had! Super nice staff and great ambiance! I would recommend the chicken bowl and spring rolls plus love affair lemonade as a beverage. Also located right next to Ku’damm and option to sit outside during summer nights.

So, at an incredible €16 for a red curry with breaded chicken, getting more breading than chicken isn't okay. 80% breading, 20% chicken. What a shame.

It was extremely busy, even though we hadn't reserved a table in advance, but after only a five-minute wait, we got a table for five. The food is very fresh, and the service is very good and attentive. The sushi is especially good, with its fresh, perfect pieces of fish. The non-alcoholic drinks are unique. The restaurant's atmosphere is cozy and clean. We will definitely return and recommend it to everyone.

So, we had quite high expectations given the excellent rating of 4.7⭐. However, the food we had (salmon teriyaki and hot plate beef) didn't live up to these expectations; even without them, we've had better both. The seasoning was quite weak and not well balanced. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was also very nice.

A very nice restaurant to have a bite to eat. There is a nice atmosphere. Staff very friendly and especially the food is delicious this is a real recommendation. Price quality ratio is excellent.

Six of us got a nice seat outside without a reservation and then ordered various appetizers. The vegan gyoza are highly recommended. The yellow curry was also good, and the vegan fried rice noodles with tofu were delicious! For dessert, we had crispy sesame balls. The service was friendly, but I had the impression that the salad wasn't quite fresh.

The food was excellent, everything was freshly prepared, and it arrived very quickly. The service was prompt and very friendly. I particularly enjoyed the lemonade. The bowl was almost too much for me, but it tasted absolutely delicious. I especially like the fact that there was enough sauce in the bowl so you weren't left with just dry rice halfway through. The ambiance is very nice; the restaurant is stylishly decorated inside and very appealing with its Asian-style wood paneling.

I very often come here at lunch when I work in the area. I really like the salmon bowl that they do and almost always have that. They are super fast and the lunch menu has a very fair price.

Classic Pho Bo for the lunch break – delicious, fast and fair. The Pho Bo was classic and very good – exactly the kind of dish I would regularly get for lunch. The broth was tasty and round, the vegetables were fresh and the meat was sliced ​​nice and thin, as it should be. The atmosphere was pleasant and tastefully decorated - I particularly liked the leather seats outside. The service was friendly and attentive. And the price is really unbeatable at lunchtime: €10.50 for a good portion.

We came across this place by chance while walking. We were welcomed very friendly and quickly seated at a table. The staff is extremely polite and attentive. The order was taken quickly and the food came very quickly. It was really tasty – the fish was super fresh and the sushi was excellent. The prices are cheap. We can only recommend the restaurant and will definitely come back.

We were there twice with the family. The first time everything was great, the food was beautifully served, everything tasted good. The second time it took too long until everything was ready and we had to wait for our table even though we had reserved and the shop was half empty.

We ate there on our short trip. The sashimi was first class, never had anything so good. The Pho soup was also one of the best, if not the best. The homemade lemonades were something different and highly recommended. Gladly again next time.
