Khao Hom in Berlin

I actually always liked ordering here because of the large portions and great taste. Unfortunately, I got food poisoning after I ordered on Monday - the food came out completely that same night and I've been in bed with a fever ever since. So please be careful 💔😔

We have been ordering from Khao Hom frequently for two years and are very happy to have discovered this little restaurant/takeaway. Delicious food at good prices, nice and friendly waiters, orders can be packed in Vytal boxes upon request, so you also save on packaging waste. We'll be happy to come back again and again 👍🏻

Food might be the best Thai in Berlin. Open kitchen, friendly staff. Spartan atmosphere and seating. Try the roasted sesame condiment

We ordered the food for delivery and it took 2 hours to prepare and arrive! We couldn’t call the restaurant to ask for our order. At the end we had to find another solution for dinner. The food was not good. Not recommended!

Unfortunately it has nothing to do with Thai food I paid over 50 euros for 3 drinks, we couldn't eat four dishes that we ordered. We complained but the staff didn't care.

A warm restaurant with delicious Thai cuisine. We are so lucky to have such a tasty restaurant here in the neighborhood. The dishes are simply fantastic and the prices are more than fair. We often pick up takeaway food and enjoy it at home. A slightly more generous portion would be the icing on the cake - perhaps that's something to consider. :) Edit: after trying several Thai restaurants here, this is definitely the best...

Yesterday I ordered Tom Kha Pak soup and Pad Thai via Wolt. I got poisoned, since yesterday I have very bad condition, stomach pains and high body temperature 38,6-39 I am absolutely sure that it is not an intolerance, because I ate Thai food before. Also it was only one meal that I had this day.

Juiciest chicken skewer in town, super nice staff and box seats with a view. 10/10

A great little original Thai food stall with delicious dishes that are prepared quickly. Very friendly and reasonably priced. And here we have Pad Thai. We like coming here.

Have only ordered there so far, so I can't say anything about the location. The price is completely okay (Pad Thai under 10€), fast delivery, portions large enough. Unfortunately, last time the food was far too spicy, even though we had chosen the lowest level of spiciness. We especially had to eat the salad in several stages because otherwise it would have been too blatant.

The welcome was incredibly warm. The staff took such good care of us and the food was super tasty and fresh. I can highly recommend red curry with tofu. You can tell they are very hard-working people.

Devastated you have stopped making your curry authentically, and have started to make it like most of all the other terrible "curry" in the city. Watery and flavourless. What I just ordered couldn't be any further away from a Penang curry. Such a shame! What I order from this restaurant 6months ago- I was so excited about it. Such a disappointment this evening. I don't even want to eat it.

When I'm in the area I always come here to at least eat some soup. Very tasty, great price and friendly people :)

We picked up food here for the first time today. There was a very nice and friendly atmosphere in the small shop. The food was super delicious 😋 everything was very authentic and tasty. I ordered spicy and the padthai was seasoned great. Everything was good quality! We will be happy to order Thai food here again!

Super Freundlich, Sehr Lecker, gute Portionsgröße für Mittagessen. Ich komme wieder!

Hatten mehr erwartet. Die Portionen sind angemessen groß, die Bedienung freundlich. Die Tom Yam Gung war gut, die beiden von uns bestellten Hauptgerichte waren leider nur durchschnittlich.

Super nette Leute hinterm Tresen, nur die Thai-Mama am Herd verzieht keine Mine aber so sind sie, dafür kocht Sie für mich, das beste Thai-Streetfood was ich seit langem gegessen habe.

Thailändische Küche im streetfood Style. Ein paar Plätze innen und außen (direkt an der Hauptstraße). Beste authentisch, thailändische Küche bei uns ums Eck (Breslauer Platz). Allerdings beim letzten Besuch etwas enttäuscht, da der bitte, das Curry Gericht authentisch scharf zu gestalten, nicht nachgekommen werden konnte, da die Chilis alle waren. Glasnudelsalat war keine Geschmacksexplosion und auch sehr klein. Kommt leider an Papaya auf der Kantstraße nicht heran; dennoch glücklich diese Gastro fußläufig zu haben.

Kleiner, feiner Laden, eher Imbiss. Familienbetrieb. Authentische Küche zu günstigen Preisen. Leckeres Essen. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert!

Panaeng Curry wässrig und unspektakulär, von Cremigkeit keine Spur. Mit Blumenkohlstückchen/Bohnen, 2 Streifen Paprika!, Rekla, wo denn die Auberginen, Zitronenblätter wären: Desinteresse. Massaman o. eine einzige Erdnuss. Hygiene/Sauberkeit unzureichend, (Tische, Fenster), Schürze der Köchin erschreckend.

I struggle to find tasty delivery options to Steglitz but ordered pad thai from Khao Hom and it was yummy. I wish there were more veggies but I really liked that they left the sprouts to the side so they were still nice and crunchy when I mixed them in. Food was still warm when it arrived and tasty. Will order again.

Wir haben über Lieferando bestellt. Es gab zwei vegetarische Frühlingsrollen, den Meeresfrüchte-Salat und das Pad Thai. Es war sehr lecker, der Salat war wie gewünscht scharf, die Frühlingsrollen waren schön warm und knusprig, im Pad Thai befanden sich sehr leckere Garnelen. Wir sind zufrieden und würden hier wieder bestellen :)

Alles frisch und lecker. Wir haben einmal im Restaurant verzehrt und heute mit Lieferando bestellt und beide Erfahrungen waren super. Die Currys finde ich besonders gut.

Sehr lecker, kann ich nur empfehlen! Schmeckt mir sehr autentisch, beste Papaya Salat und die Reisgerichte! Sehr sehr toll, dass man die Schärfe auswählen kann.

Ehrlich gesagt weiß ich nicht wie die guten bis sehr guten Bewertungen hier zustande kommen. Leider sehr schlechtes Essen, nicht frisch, Zutaten sind billige Fertigware und selbst für Fast-Food wäre es kaum genießbar. Sehr schade. Entweder hatten sie hier einen schlechten Tag oder es wurde etwas in den Bewertungen nachgeholfen...das hat auch nichts mehr mit Geschmacksache zu tun. In jedem Fall empfehle ich jedem: mit Vorsicht zu genießen und nicht unbedingt auf gute Bewertungen vertrauen!

The taste of Thai food is really delicious. Staffs is very helpful and service mind. I and my friend come here during Berlin Marathon 2022. Very recommended for Thai foods in Berlin.

Schmeckt ausgezeichnet. Endlich ein Laden in dem Gebäude, der sich von der Qualität der Speisen her behaupten kann. Freundliche Mitarbeiter dazu. Top! PS: Vielleicht gibt es ja bald sogar Mango Sticky Rice? Wäre ziemlich nice.

Overall the food not the best but ok. but the Pad Thai needs more spice, the shrimps were well marinated though and the tofu would be better to be deep fried without flour.
