Good food meets inadequate service standards • Ambiance & Maintenance: The suspended ceiling, with its dark-painted, damaged panels, is in dire need of renovation. This attempt to conceal structural flaws leaves guests with an unhygienic impression. • Hygiene: The table was handed over unclean; the staff did not check or clean it again. The restrooms in the basement, however, were clean. • Beverage Service: The ordered brand-name mineral water was not served in its original, sealed condition. The bottle had already been opened and resealed with a different glass stopper. This contradicts the standards for serving natural mineral water and casts doubt on its origin. The draft beer was well-chilled, but its alcohol content seemed subjectively below average. • Food: The food was of good quality and technically flawless. • Billing & Compliance: With a bill of €153, a receipt was only issued after persistent insistence. The waiter's claim that the receipt had already been issued was factually incorrect. Conclusion: Due to the lack of transparency regarding drinks and the unprofessional handling of the receipt requirement, a return visit is out of the question. The excellent cuisine cannot compensate for these structural deficiencies.

The food was delicious, but it took a long time to arrive. My girlfriend ordered a bowl with very spicy kimchi, so she unfortunately couldn't enjoy it. The waiters were a bit rushed and accidentally brought us the same dish twice. The restaurant is nicely decorated, but the tables are too close together and it gets much too noisy in the evenings.

We were here on a Saturday from 6:30 pm to 8:45 pm. There were two of us, and we each ordered a drink, an appetizer, and a main course. The restaurant was almost full, so everything took quite a while. We didn't mind, though, since we had plenty of time. Aside from that, the atmosphere is really lovely and cozy. You feel comfortable and can easily have a conversation, even if it's a bit cramped. The food is absolutely fantastic and tastes authentic and high-quality. We would definitely come back if we're ever in Berlin again.

Good Vietnamese restaurant with a nice atmosphere and great value for money at lunchtime.

We had a great meal. The starter and main course arrived quickly one after the other. This was a real shame. We had indicated that there would have been plenty of time between them.

Wow, such a special place, you have to visit. The design, service, and cuisine are simply top-notch, and the presentation is simply beautiful. The smoke adds a festive touch.

We had a reservation for 8:15 pm. We arrived at 8:10 pm. We were assured that we would get a table in just 2-3 minutes, even though the restaurant was packed, which should have been a good sign. After waiting until 8:25 pm, and then seeing two people seated ahead of us and given a table immediately, even though they hadn't made a reservation, we left. It's a shame, really, since the reviews promised good food. The service, however, was anything but convincing. They should reconsider whether it makes sense to offer reservations if they're not going to be honored.

It was delicious there. We'll definitely go again.

Very cozy ambience for a date or for a friendly meetup. Very polite staff and very fast service. Food was good too. We ordered prawn chips, curry with chicken, edmame, chicken gyoza and we enjoyed it. Edmame salt was less but no worries. On special request they accepted to serve tom yum soup with chicken which was really good and as expected- the highlight!

The five of us dined at Mizumi Restaurant in Berlin and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and immediately shown to our table. The highlight was, of course, the food: the sushi and sashimi were absolutely first-class – fresh, perfectly chilled, and beautifully presented. It's immediately apparent that great emphasis is placed on quality and craftsmanship. We were particularly impressed by the selection of nigiri and the variety of the sashimi platter. The hot dishes we ordered as side dishes were also delicious and perfectly complemented. A big compliment to the service as well: the staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and professional. Our drinks were never empty, questions about the menu were patiently answered, and we truly felt welcome as guests. Overall, it was a fantastic culinary experience in a pleasant atmosphere – we all felt very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Mizumi is definitely a must-visit for sushi lovers. We'll certainly be back.

I have been a long term customer, frequently coming there with friends or taking out food for home. This evening I ordered via phone a poke bowl with seafood and when picking up, I noticed that the salmon was raw. I told the staff I do not want to eat raw fish, she argued I should have checked the menu (which I did, before ordering) and we checked the menu together. She had to admit there was no info on the menu about the seafood being raw. I asked her to cook the fish, she took it and returned it saying it was solved. Long story short, I got home to eat my order and the tuna was 100% raw, while the salmon barely cooked (but not really). Wasted money and time! Never again! This is how you lose a long term customer!

The wide selection of vegetarian dishes is also particularly positive, so there's something for everyone. The cocktails are creative and delicious – my personal tip: definitely try the Lychee Caipirinha! 🍸 The service was also top-notch: attentive, friendly, and very welcoming. A "typical" German mixed Asian restaurant with good value for money, not least considering it's right around the corner from Kurfürstendamm. I've been there a few times; how attentive and friendly the service is depends a bit on the person, but it's always been good. So far, all the dishes (whether soup, spring rolls, sushi, or rice dishes) have been consistently good, which speaks for good ingredients and good cooking skills. What I haven't found here yet is anything "special," like some Asian restaurants without a clear identity lack (which is why I deducted one star overall), but as I said, there's nothing noticeably negative about that either.

The menu is extensive – from sushi and meat dishes to vegan options, there’s something for everyone. The flavors are well-balanced, portions generous, and the presentation beautiful. Prices are very reasonable for Berlin, around €20–30 per person. The location is also great, right by Kurfürstendamm on Joachimsthaler Str. Overall, a wonderful dining experience – I’ll definitely be coming back.

Excellent service on the phone and in the restaurant. Fantastic duck. Chic ambiance. Very good value for money. You have to experience the service for yourself. The ambiance is characterized by clean shapes and straight lines. Pleasant background music, and little of the frills you'd normally find in a local restaurant. The meat was tender and crispy on the outside, the vegetables were hot but not overcooked. We are simply thrilled and would gladly return.

The waiter laughed and simply ignored the issue. Finally, the bill was charged as large for both beers, which we found unprofessional. We ordered the spring rolls and were surprised by their variety, but definitely delicious. The shrimp dumplings were very good. The pad tai was tasty, but somewhat lacking in flavor, and the shrimp hot roll was delicious. Overall, the food was good. One drawback is that there's no air conditioning and it's very hot today.

I was there yesterday and honestly the sushi was mid at best. They offer a lunch menu for cheaper prices and that’s okay I would say .But the worst part was the service – really not attentive and unprofessional. On top of that, they actually tried to sneak in a higher tip than what I wrote down they have a cardsystem where they force u to put tip from us. That’s unacceptable and feels like they’re trying to steal from customers. Wouldn’t recommend.

How does this restaurant have an average rating of 4.8 out of over 1,000 reviews? It's a mystery to me and my dinner companions! The sushi was mediocre. The pho was terrible, and the Mizumi Bowls were made with absolutely no love—everything thrown in a bowl, some mayonnaise on top, and they were ready to serve. The cocktails barely contained any alcohol. We really regret ending up here.

Great restaurant. The welcome is warm and the pho soup is delicious. It was a pleasure to speak with the staff. The kindness and hospitality are typical of Vietnam. The flavors are authentic, the dishes are carefully prepared and generously served. The atmosphere is friendly, and you quickly feel at ease, like you're at home. An excellent place in Berlin for a culinary journey.

They showed me on the POS the correct sum and when I wanted to pay they modify something without showing me, in fact they added tips without asking. They didn't gave me the ticket after that.

The miso soup wasn't that flavorful, and the wakame salad was also ice cold and didn't really taste like anything, unfortunately. The table, plates, and cutlery weren't that clean. But the avocado maki and ginger were quite good.

My absolute favorite restaurant here in Berlin! The food tastes so delicious, perfect for trying plant-based cuisine. The service is always friendly, and especially the waiter, Dat, makes my visit to Mizumi a highlight!
