The food itself was okay, but a very small buffet where you have to wait a long time. We didn't feel welcome and that's how we were treated. That didn't work at all, they didn't even accept a tip, apparently they don't need it... it was the first and last time for us.

We come to Waren from Munich every year. A visit to the Lotus is firmly planned. It offers a very rich buffet at a fair price. The service is great, the whole team is very friendly and attentive. Tip: Be sure to try the “fire chicken”!

As always, a nice visit when we are in Waren. It was full as usual, but we still got a good table after a short wait. Service was very accommodating, buffet quality was very good and always fresh. When there were fresh baked bananas, we were specifically told about them because they had previously been completely empty and I hadn't had any left. A nice family evening in the restaurant.

Placed a slightly larger order at short notice on a Saturday. The young lady on the phone was very friendly and accommodating. Top advice! When it comes to pick-up time, you can't beat it. After 90 minutes we were able to receive our menu. Very tasty, very plentiful and very well packaged for transport. We can only recommend this service. Terrific! Always very good, you should always reserve in advance as it is always well attended. The only drawback I think is that the buffet area is so narrow, if there's a lot going on you have to wait in line for a few minutes, which isn't a problem. Since we weren't particularly hungry, we decided against all-you-can-eat and opted for two dishes from the menu. The portions were huge and the food was so good and tasty that we didn't leave a bite. Very limited buffet. The food was not well seasoned and the meat was rather bland! I've been to a lot of Asian buffet restaurants, but this is one of my worst experiences! The price was also rather unreasonable for a 1.50 m wide buffet! I paid €15.90 at another restaurant and had MUCH more choice and taste! Not recommended!!!

Das Lokal Lotus, überzeugt mit seiner außerordentlich guten Küche. Wir haben vom Buffet gegessen. Die Speisen waren sehr lecker und frisch. Das Büffet ist nicht riesig aber erlesen, es ist für jeden etwas dabei und es wird immer zügig nachgelegt. Der Preis pP 18,90 € ist absolut gerechtfertigt. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hier konnte ich Speien probieren die ich vorher nicht kannte. Gerne immerwieder

We are completely satisfied. We were served very friendly and courteously. The people understand fun and are relaxed despite the large crowds in the evening. Since I eat vegan, the buffet was out of the question for me and I was advised what I could eat. I chose Thai coconut curry. The food came quickly. There was salad and fresh herbs. The portions were generous and I got a lot of tofu instead of meat. I have never eaten such good Thai curry! And I eat coconut curry relatively often in my city. My wife was also completely satisfied with her chicken curry.

Due to the almost overwhelming reviews here, we decided to visit Lotus on a Sunday afternoon. But our experience was completely different. Unfortunately, we didn't experience the supposedly perfect Asian cuisine, high-quality food, authentic dishes or a cozy atmosphere. Instead, we had to deal with an unreasonable crowd at the rather manageable buffet. The reason why the approximately three meter long display was placed in the narrow passage next to the entrance door, the stairs to the basement/toilets, the kitchen and the bar can only be explained by the fact that they want to squeeze in as many seats as possible in the rest of the store. So anything but relaxed. For the buffet: - The selection for vegetarians was very manageable. - There was plenty of meat. However, it was rather bland and mainly depended on the breading. - Only shrimp came from the sea. However, they were a force! - Sushi lovers, on the other hand, will be disappointed. There were two different, thinly sliced, deep-fried tempura rolls with salmon or salmon salad and avocado maki. - For dessert there was chocolate pudding from the bag, cream puffs from the freezer, the obligatory baked bananas in honey and fruit salad The staff was rotating a lot. However, we had to wait a long time until someone was available to ask for the drinks menu. The drinks came very quickly and the employees were all friendly. I don't want to go on about this unnecessarily and look for the fly in the ointment. The prices were completely okay at €18.90 per full eater, we were full, but we always had the impression that that's exactly what the Lotus is about; Eat until you feel like you've spent your money again, and you're done. Not so much the idea of ​​being able to try as many different things as possible. Attention: Cash payment only!!! The fact that Germany is still a developing country in this respect is nothing new, but not being able to pay amounts over €50 by card at a tourist hotspot is really impossible.

Reserved a table and ate with 8 people on the weekend. The table was free on time. The order (a la carte) and drinks came quickly after 10 or 20 minutes for everyone at the same time. The dishes were all excellent (e.g. 18 Thai curry/summer roll/19 spicy beef). Combined with the nice service and reasonable prices, a real recommendation

I would have given 10 stars too. The restaurant is newly renovated, not so pompous, a bit more modern. Incredibly friendly staff and reasonable prices. 2 x buffet, 4 drinks, 2 plum liqueur and 2 fortune cookies on the house, €46.50. Everything I tried was great. Breaded chicken, cross and not a bit greasy. Thai curry, with vegetables, chicken and coconut milk, slightly spicy. And beef, tender, spicy and slightly sweet, a dream. I am not a chef and not a gourmet. But I have had very good Asian food in Singapore and Great Britain. Of course I don't know all Asians. But this one was the best in Germany so far.

Just by entering the restaurant you know that it is going to be a special evening. Great atmosphere! The Asia Lotus offers a delicious Chinese buffet with a very good price-performance ratio. The service is fast, experienced and friendly. We felt like we were in good hands and will be happy to come back.

The food at the buffet tastes good, is fresh and varied. There is also a small selection of sushi and deep-fried shrimp and other small items. Unfortunately you cannot pay by card, only cash or Paypal.

Really great and delicious restaurant with high-quality food that you don't get at other all-you-can-eat restaurants (e.g. tempura sushi, many types of shrimp). The 3 employees are incredibly friendly and the young waiter is very accommodating. When we were ready to pay we had a little chat with the boss, who was also very friendly and bought us three schnapps. If we come to Waren again we will definitely eat here again :)

If you like it, there is something for every taste at the buffet, you can also order a la card. There were 8 of us there at Easter and we were not disappointed. Groups are better off making reservations.

I was there with my partner and my mother. Because she had a stroke, her movement is limited. An extra table was set up for us and the boss personally looked after my mother and us throughout our stay. When I accompanied my mother to the toilet, the boss sent me back upstairs and she personally brought my mother back to the table. It was truly remarkable how she and her staff looked after us. Despite the small selection of dishes, the food was very tasty, fresh and was constantly replenished.
