Die besten Restaurants in Waren (Müritz)

I give every store a chance, but I guess I was really unlucky. I had something with chicken, fries and a flatbread. I hadn't paid attention to what was packed for me, but when I got home I realized that there were only 11 fries, dry chicken wrapped in a flatbread and these pickles that didn't go well with it at all. Almost €10 ended up in the bin. It's not my kitchen and I probably didn't have any luck with the preparation either. I won't order anything else here. Then I also find it very strange that the seats were allowed to be placed outside in a disabled parking space. As a Waren resident, I don't know that anyone was even allowed to put tables there.

So unfortunately we now need an honest review. I don't judge anyone I don't know enough about, but that was Obergau last night 1. I ordered an XXL kebab (half a flatbread) but didn't even get a children's kebab. 2. The kebab man felt completely at ease ripping off his customers. 3. We, me and my daughter are having the party today. I mean that in the sense of, the toilet is ours. It is a mystery to me that there is still such surveillance here today. Of course the tourist will never come back, but the good guy didn't expect the locals. I'm thinking about having the store checked. Deceptive packaging and not entirely clean food would be just as great as he sells something like that.

We got a table on Friday evening without a reservation, right at the counter and cooking area. So we were able to watch the chef in his element. This small restaurant simply has charm, is very cozy and is topped off by the great service. We felt very comfortable. The food was also really tasty, we had the zander fillet and three kinds of herring. We are very impressed and can only recommend this restaurant and agree with the good reviews. Gasthaus Kastanie is closed and the opening times are incorrect. The new tenant is called Bistro Kastanie here on Google.

The reserved table was nicely prepared. The waitress (student) tried very hard, but at the same time was overwhelmed by more than ten people. The wine was good. The pizza disappointed me. Unfortunately, the cheese on the pizza is of poor quality and the pizza is overloaded with it.

I can't understand people who complain about little things here. Yes, the buffet isn't very big, BUT there are Asian restaurants with huge buffets that don't offer nearly as much variety as this nice little restaurant! Anyone who has ever been here knows how tight the space is. Eating here with a stroller at the table will likely require the removal of another table. But it doesn't help to come on a different day, because this restaurant is always full, for good reason. But you can also buy away from home, perhaps as an idea for next time. Because you definitely shouldn't miss the food! We have been eating here several times a year for at least 15 years, from 60 km away. We have tried many Asian places, but we have yet to find one where it is even remotely as tasty as this restaurant. We would also give it 20 stars if that were possible!!!

To be on the safe side, we asked for the table and time by email the day before, and the answer came within a few hours, very good. Great, very nice service that allows free choice of seating (very rare these days), great ambience and the food is delicious (highly recommend the MOMENTS plate). We had a very nice evening and would love to come back!!!

Food was okay, but not particularly innovative. Service was attentive, but very busy with setting/polishing. Charm a bit dignified.

I was warmly welcomed and served excellently by the extremely attentive and polite staff. Even if the menu choice happened to be exclusively vegetarian, the food was combined and garnished very imaginatively - so it was both a feast for the eyes and a delight for the palate. In my opinion the price was absolutely justified. I will highly recommend this restaurant to everyone - a clear 5 star from me!

You can see the lake from the restaurant, the hotel is located in the old town and has its own parking garage. It had the ground floor suite which was really beautiful. Great down beds, good mattresses, we found a bathrobe and slippers in the closet. Shampoo etc. was also available, mineral water, a coffee machine and a decent hairdryer were available. The room was quiet, there was an elevator in the house and a nice sauna in the basement. The breakfast is great and in the evening you can dine at a really high level in the restaurant. Service was also great, both at reception, at breakfast and in the restaurant in the evening. Since we are always there in November, we can't say anything about the temperatures in the rooms in summer. Overall, a beautiful hotel with great food.
