We enjoyed the food. I think the prices are too high.

Street parking is available for 3 hours with a parking disc. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable, with several rooms. The Google rating (4.8) is accurate and understandable. The service is friendly and unobtrusive, the quality of our dishes was exceptional, and the price was reasonable. Highly recommended!

The price and quality are disproportionate. The venison burger (patty) was very dry. The soufflé was soggy. I ordered an espresso to finish. It tasted like regular coffee. Despite the staff's friendliness, I won't be back.

Last year, we had a wonderful family celebration at Café Moritz in the Seehotel Ecktannen. So, choosing the venue for this year's anniversary wasn't difficult. The table was beautifully set. The food, from the appetizer and main course to dessert and coffee, was outstanding and exceptionally tasty. Prepared and served with love. Our special requests for vegan food were also very well accommodated and delicious. A very good restaurant, but quite expensive. Most of the dishes are tasty. However, I wouldn't recommend the spaghetti aglio e olio. I personally don't like the new, rather gray ambiance; I used to prefer the country-style decor. But, as we all know, taste is subjective.

We found the restaurant by chance via Google Maps. After studying the menu online beforehand, we spontaneously decided to have dinner there. The interior of the restaurant has been completely modernized. The restaurant has a modern look. The tables are not too close together and there is comfortable seating, some even have benches. There is also a very nice outdoor area behind the restaurant. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and they make recommendations. Without the staff member's tip, I would never have chosen the crème brulée with basil sorbet for dessert – it was absolutely delicious. Our main courses (pork cheeks on mashed potatoes and a grilled pan with three meats) were also excellent and plentiful. We enjoyed it so much today that we immediately made another reservation for tomorrow evening.

Es war wirklich eine Enttäuschung, weil "Alles" immer sehr gut war. Mit meiner Freundin und Hund waren wir beim BBQ und freuten uns sehr, weil wir es schon öfters genossen haben. Letztes Jahr kostete es 21,90Euro der Preis war gerechtfertigt. Dieses Jahr im Internet angepriesen für 25,00 Euro. Dann gestern beim bezahlen kostete es 29,90 Euro. Sowas geht gar nicht, zudem es nicht so warm war und das Grillgut alles im Freien stattgefunden hat und dann nur noch lauwarm war und mit dem Nachlegen es auch dauerte. Schade - wir werden dort nicht mehr essen. Es gibt in Waren noch andere gute Restaurants.

A bit of an old-fashioned atmosphere, but the food was very good and that's what counts in the end.

Salad without carrots, cabbage, or anything like that. Just green salad, a few snips of bell pepper, and a token mini tomato. The whole thing fit easily into a soup bowl. For €16! The balsamic sauce was from a Handelshof bottle. The fish soup for €20 consisted of vegetable broth with a few diced salmon and zander and boring potato cubes. Not a single green ingredient and no special seasoning. Unfortunately, also very boring. The service was friendly and attentive—the nicest tables weren't assigned despite reservations and remained empty the whole time while the other guests fried in the sun. Was there an important comrade expected who then decided not to show up?

We were there for Easter brunch, and despite the large number of guests, everything went very smoothly. Plentiful and very tasty buffet. Service was on point and always friendly. We were very excited and would love to come back for the barbecue.

Zum Geburtstag meiner Frau hatte ich einen Tisch im „Restaurant Moritz“ gebucht. Und das Team Moritz hatte Wort gehalten, wir durften zum Anlass im Kaminzimmer unsere Plätze einnehmen. Der Tisch war zum Anlass perfekt dekoriert und - zur allgemeinen Überraschung - wurde für uns alle ein Sekt spendiert…… Da konnte das abendliche Schlemmen ja nicht besser starten. Die Karte nicht mega üppig, aber mit einer (meiner Meinung nach) absolut ausreichenden Breite, so dass jeder fündig wird. Wir gingen vorab mit überbackenem Würzfleisch und einer Käse-Lauch Suppe mit Rinderhackfleisch, zum Hauptgang mit Hähnchenbrust im Bacon - Röstzwiebel Knuspermantel mit frischen Rahmpilzen, der Steakpfanne Ecktannen sowie dem flambierten Rinderfilet mit Waldpilzen in Rahm und Röststicks. Alles in allem großes Kino, alle Gerichte top auf den Punkt zubereitet, in bester Qualität, sehr schmackhaft. Abgerundet wurde unser Geburtstagsessen mit Creme Brûlée/ einem tollen Basilikumsorbet (war echt klasse, so noch nie gesehen), einem tollen südafrikanischen Rotwein (yes) sowie einem Espresso-Martini Cocktail. . Wir haben einige schöne Stunden hier verbracht. Danke an das sehr aufmerksame Serviceteam, ihr habt den Abend abgerundet. Ich kann das Moritz wärmstens empfehlen und werde es, sofern sich die Gelegenheit wieder bietet, besuchen.

Ich besuche seid ca. 9 Jahren mehrmals im Jahr die Gaststätte. Bin nicht einmal enttäuscht raus gegangen. Freundliches Personal, saubere Tische, das Essen kann man schnell bestellen. Keine langen Wartezeiten. Die Gerichte sind sehr lecker und sehr reichhaltig. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis passt auf jeden Fall. Kaum merkbare Preissteigerungen und wenn dann minimal. We were here yesterday with our former fellow students for a barbecue evening. Expectations were high, especially since the price was €29.90. Our expectations were met! The food was very tasty and there was a plentiful selection of meat, fish and lots of salads, bread and dips, all of which were very tasty. Finally, there were also different types of ice cream, all of which were probably homemade. The service was super nice, humorous and friendly. We would definitely recommend it and would definitely like to come back again. Thank you very much!

The four of us ate at the Moritz restaurant today. We had lunch quite late, so the restaurant was probably almost empty. We found the interior a bit dated. The dishes we ordered from the weekly menu and the standard menu were consistently tasty and beautifully presented. The service was very attentive and friendly. You can tell that the employees understand their craft and their subject. The prices are a little higher, but we're happy to pay a little more for good service and good food, including tips!

Nice restaurant, upscale price range, had asparagus with potatoes and hollandaise, potatoes were actually convenience, the hollandaise from the tetraplack and the asparagus was very firm to the bite although soft (at the request of the waiter). There will be no second visit.

Während eines Kurzurlaubs in Waren sind wir etwas durch die schöne Landschaft spaziert und hier gelandet (nicht ganz unabsichtlich, vor einigen Jahren waren wir im Hotel schon eine Woche und waren von der Küche sehr begeistert) Zur Mittagszeit gab es den Ziegenkäse und da Mann seinen Mittagshunger überschätzt (der Teller war dann doch sehr gut gefüllt) das Schnitzel mit Champignons und Bratkartoffeln. Der Ziegenkäse war eine der besten Versionen die ich bisher hatte und das Schnitzel ist sehr zum satt werden 😄 frische Pilze, tolle Soße, krosse Bratkartoffeln! Alles sehr zu empfehlen, auch die Bedienung war aufmerksam und für den Hund gab es gleich ein Napf frisches Wasser. Sind wir wieder in Waren kommen wir wieder vorbei 👍🏻

Sehr leckeres Essen! Während unseres Urlaubs waren wir dort an zwei Tagen essen. Ich hatte vor dem Urlaub für meine Mutter ein Geburtstagsmenü organisiert. Dies funktionierte total unkompliziert und das Menü war hervorragend. Selbst Blumen wurden besorgt. Die Bedienungen waren sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam.

Ich besuchte dieses Restaurant unlängst mit einer Gruppe Epidemiolog*innen im Rahmen einer wissenschaftlichen Exkursion, da uns zugetragen worden war, dass in den Räumlichkeiten eine Urvariante - sozusagen ein Alpha - des neuartigen Coronavirus anzutreffen sei. So viel vorweg: Unser Informant hatte Unrecht; der Mann hatte das Restaurant selbst nie besucht, sein Ansinnen war vielmehr, eine zeitlang allein mit meiner Mutter sein zu können, um ihr einen Heiratsantrag zu machen. Der Plan des Schuften war erfolgreich - aber diese Geschichte steht auf einem anderen Blatt. Wir jedenfalls wurden nicht fündig, obwohl wir allerlei Messgeräte mit uns führten und sogar Schutzkleidung trugen. Wir bestellten daher stattdessen aus dem Menü. Das Essen war schmackhaft und warm, wenngleich sich einer meiner Kollegen an einer Fischgräte verschluckte und von dem Ober durch Mund zu Mund Beatmung wiederbelebt werden musste. Der Mann ist am Leben, hat aber jetzt die Grippe. Ein Stern Abzug, weil mein sich Wildschweinburger etwas trocken ausnahm. Sonst war alles sehr bekömmlich.
