We can highly recommend the restaurant, good traditional cuisine, delicious beer and very friendly service!!!! We'd love to come back, eat like our mother's... The visit was spontaneous and we were greeted in a friendly manner Regular guests...prices and services were top!

The food was OK. The service was a bit strange. The friendliness seemed fake and not very authentic. You were greeted at the door with: “How can I help you?” One would like to answer: “I would like a set of winter tires or do you also have these shoes in size 43”. 😉

Unfortunately, our schnitzel and fried potatoes were from the deep fryer (convenience products). They weren't that good and we didn't like them. Maybe you should use the pan in such a great restaurant.

Very good hospitality! We were kind enough to get a table for two even though everything was reserved. The cheeky service rounded off the stay in a comfortably furnished restaurant with excellent food. The food came quickly and was plentiful. The chicken from the “Ratsherrentiegel” was particularly juicy, the Kassler and the Bratkoffeln were also recommended. Fish and vegetables from the “Seaman’s Bride” are crisp and fresh. Delicious down-to-earth pub food. The service was very attentive and courteous. We sat down on the roof terrace in a barrel with 2 other people. It was a great, entertaining evening.

Very nice atmosphere, food was delicious except for the fried fried potatoes. 0.4 soft drink more expensive than a 0.5 beer. Service constantly asks for more drinks or whether the food can be cleared away, even though you are clearly still there (see how the cutlery is laid out). When we wanted to pay, everyone was eating in the next room and we waited a long time and could have left without paying.

We got a place with you at short notice on a rainy day - the staff was very attentive and our dog wasn't a problem at all - great! The food was also very tasty - real home cooking. Price-performance ratio is completely reasonable - plus a nice view of the goods marketplace :-) you can have a good time here. Definitely stop by sometime :)!!!

We went there for dinner with friends. In addition to a very unfriendly reception, the food was of varying quality. We had some stuffed cabbage, which was very tasty, and also pork loin steak gratinated with seasoned meat, very tasty, but the fried potatoes (obviously fried) were dripping with fat, less tasty! Conclusion for us: you can do it, but you don't have to.

The Ratskeller is a very rustic and home-style restaurant. We felt very comfortable here and really enjoyed the food and drinks. We can highly recommend the Ratskeller in Waren (Müritz). “Recommend” is a good keyword. Because of the location and quality of the Ratskeller, a reservation is definitely recommended.

A recommendation for good German food, very tasty, wholesome and well prepared.

The quality of the food was unfortunately disappointing (pork schnitzel with cream mushrooms for 18.90 euros). An obvious convenience schnitzel made from molded meat was served with canned “cream” mushrooms. However, there was no noticeable trace of cream in the sauce, but it was thickened with a sauce thickener. And the salad dressing didn't even seem homemade to me - it was reminiscent of a ready-made product from a discount store. The fried potatoes tasted reasonably good, even if they were a bit fatty. Next time I'd rather cook myself instead of having to do that to myself. Sorry, but that had to come out... At least, the service staff was friendly and quite attentive. However, that can't change my decision not to come here again in the future. Too bad...

We were hotel guests and we really liked it. Very good food, excellent rooms. Very friendly staff, great location, we can highly recommend the Ratskeller.

I had stopped on a bike tour and enjoyed a fried herring with fried potatoes. Plus a cool Lübzer. Fine! The only point deducted: I would have liked to have potato pancakes with applesauce as dessert from the children's menu. Although I already had a main course from the “adult menu”, they said that I could only get the dish I wanted for an additional charge of €4.50. That was too much for me. Otherwise, I can highly recommend the food and service!

I ate a very bad schnitzel here, according to my taste, it was square, I think pre-made, cooked in the deep fryer, with greasy fried potatoes and coleslaw, I think from a bucket, the waitress asked me how "Did it taste good", wanted to explain, said... I'm not interested. Understood. The beer tasted good. It's just a tourist corner.

Das Essen war gut, wurde schnell und auch heiß serviert. Man sollte nur vermeiden in das Restaurant zu gehen um die Toilette zu benutzen, das scheint den MA schlechte Laune zu bereiten und führt sogar zu lauten und beleidigenden Bemerkungen, leider. Ich habe das noch nie erlebt und hätte gern auf diese Erfahrung verzichtet.

Hello. The Ratskeller was recommended to us and we went there with 6 people. Since the outer seats under the umbrellas in front of the restaurant were wet, we moved three small tables together in the middle. This was the operation on July 27th. too much. She got cheeky and we left again. She wouldn't move the furniture in our living room... Unfortunately I can't judge the food, but you should tell the waitress a few things.

Gaststätte und Speisen rustikal - gemütlich. Mecklenburgische Gerichte: Wir hatten Eisbein, Steak au four und Schweinerückensteak mit Kartoffelpuffer. Alles lecker. Kellner authentisch freundlich, ein wenig im Stress, aber aufmerksam.

We had a nice time sitting on the terrace. Unfortunately the only vegan dish was potatoes with frozen vegetables and a stuffed pepper (unclear what exactly was in there - it wasn't tasty). I was then allowed to pay over €20 for this combination. Vegans should therefore avoid the restaurant - at least as long as the menu has not changed. The others were happy with their vegetarian or meat dishes.

The food is classic German cuisine in a rustic atmosphere. Waiters were quick and food tasted really good. The price is a little higher, but this is understandable given the delicious food.

All in all, just a very nice restaurant. What's special about them is that they are really very child-friendly. Rarely have I had such a nice visit to a restaurant with children. Thank you for everything 🫶

The staff is completely overloaded even though the store wasn't even full. “Large” salad Ratsherrensalat (13.90) + tuna with grated cheese (7.90 extra) is a JOKE. Taste okay, but for the price I would have expected at least a whole can of tuna. Two small slices of baguette that came with it weren't even crunchy anymore. NEVER AGAIN.

We were guests in the Ratskeller for the first time in a long time at Easter 2024. We have known the restaurant for a long time. We were completely disappointed. The food lacks the quality I knew. Unimaginative and unfortunately incredibly expensive. I would like to see people concentrate again on Mecklenburg cuisine, creatively implemented.

We stayed here at the weekend and can only praise the guesthouse! Perfect location, right on the market square and only a 3-minute walk from the promenade and the marina! The service was perfect, the room was great and absolutely modern and nice and spacious (20 sqm), nothing was missing. Very clean with a nice bathroom. The room (to the back) also had a nice, large furnished balcony (1st floor, room 3). The breakfast was super tasty and filling. It was also tailored to specific requests, e.g. B. which egg dishes (played or scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, soft or hard-boiled) were asked. There was coffee or. Tea in any quantity, rolls in different variations, a small fruit basket with apples, kiwis, grapes, physalis etc., a basket with various jams, plum jam, honey, cream cheese, cream cheese with herbs etc. Plus a plate with various sausages and... . Types of ham, liver sausage, cold cuts, camembert and small garnish. Orange juice was also included. Absolutely top!! In addition, a very friendly staff with great service! We can recommend the Rathskeller with a clear conscience! The atmosphere is also great, quaint, cozy and very inviting!

Given our original intention to consume fish, we ultimately chose the baked pork knuckle. This choice proved to be extremely satisfactory as the pork knuckle was of considerable size. The accompanying side dishes also contributed to a positive dining experience. In addition, the price was within an acceptable range.

Absolut empfehlenswert. Gut gegessen, mit der gesamten Familie. Es waren perfekte Portionen und fantastischer Wein! Wir kommen wieder 👍🏻
