Wir hatten alle ein überbacken Schnitzel bestellt. Leider war unter dem Käse kein Schnitzel sondern irgendein billiges Fleisch. Hat uns leider nicht geschmeckt.

Cozy atmosphere, attentive, friendly service. Kitchen (kindly worded) can be expanded. A “Steak au Four” (it has a different name) is at the table 4 minutes after ordering, but I didn’t think it tasted that great. Maybe you had a bad day.

Das Lokal ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Wir haben beide Eisbein gegessen. Eines gepökelt und das andere aus dem Backofen. Das aus dem Backofen war zu trocken und nur mit einem Sägemesser zu bezwingen. Ich glaube für Preis- Leistung kann man woanders besser essen gehen.

We had the opportunity to get a seat today, so far so good, we noticed that the greeting was a bit strange, but that would be ok, now we were really looking forward to the schnitzel with fried eggs, so we ordered it together with Dznklem lübzer, that Beer came quickly and the schnitzels almost as quickly, which is actually almost impossible with freshly made things. The first bite revealed it, glowing hot on the inside and lukewarm on the outside, which suggests that it was convectomat, the meat was honestly tough, only about 85 percent through, hard to cut and even harder to buy because we were hungry We are subdued because we discuss things in restaurants but simply don't go there anymore. It's a shame, the service and the ambience are great so far, it could have become our new local regulars' table, but now it won't because the kitchen doesn't seem to place much emphasis on high quality, which would actually have been expected given the prices. My clear opinion....... no recommendation for spontaneous visits, there are too many better local places, based on the quality of the food, that we don't want to do that again. Too bad

Schönes Ambiente. Netter Service. Essen war leider nur mittelmäßig. ( Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln und Pilzrahmsauce) leider alles Fertigprodukte aus der Metro. Leider relativ geschmacklos. Preislich also leider zu teuer. Knapp 19€ plus 5,80€ für ein großes Bier vom Fass. Für 4 Personen insgesamt 110€. Für den Preis, nicht zu empfehlen. 25% weniger wären angemessen . Werden nicht nicht wiederkommen.

Since we were there on Boxing Day, there was a Christmas card. There wasn't as much choice here as on the normal menu. The food was still very tasty. We chose perch, roast wild boar and half a duck.

We received very good written care in advance and were warmly welcomed upon arrival. We felt very comfortable in our double room - modern and spacious - with a balcony. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. The hotel team is very friendly. We would like to come back again and again.

We were there for a pre-Christmas meal and all the dishes were great. The traditional dishes were very nicely presented and my potato pancakes with salmon and mustard-honey vinaigrette were excellent! The service was also great - a pleasant mix of professionalism and friendly, relaxed attitude. The prices were very reasonable for what was delivered. Thanks!

Very good cuisine, very friendly staff. Since there are seating areas everywhere, I find it very tight, but I would still recommend our Ratskeller to anyone who wants to have a good meal in Waren.

I really liked it, the food was first class and I also really enjoyed the beer. The real hit was the tip from the friendly waitress, who recommended a liqueur to round off the very, very good meal. bog pear. Delicious. It's a shame that we don't have that. This is how I imagine a Ratskeller! Excellent German cuisine and good pilsner/schnapps. The service was absolutely competent and kind. We'll go there again.

The food was OK. The service was a bit strange. The friendliness seemed fake and not very authentic. You were greeted at the door with: “How can I help you?” One would like to answer: “I would like a set of winter tires or do you also have these shoes in size 43”. 😉

A very nice restaurant, the service was great. We hadn't booked a table in advance, but we were still able to stay. Unfortunately, our schnitzel and fried potatoes were from the deep fryer (convenience products). They weren't that good and we didn't like them. Maybe you should use the pan in such a great restaurant.

Went there by chance and luckily got a table. The conditions were all very friendly. The food was delicious and arrived quickly even though it was full.

Very good hospitality! We were kind enough to get a table for two even though everything was reserved. The cheeky service rounded off the stay in a comfortably furnished restaurant with excellent food. The food came quickly and was plentiful. The chicken from the “Ratsherrentiegel” was particularly juicy, the Kassler and the Bratkoffeln were also recommended. Fish and vegetables from the “Seaman’s Bride” are crisp and fresh. I came here specifically because of the pork knuckle and was not disappointed. Decent portion and very tasty. The ambience is very nice and has charm. I would love to come here again and recommend it.

Delicious down-to-earth pub food. The service was very attentive and courteous. We sat down on the roof terrace in a barrel with 2 other people. It was a great, entertaining evening.

Very nice atmosphere, food was delicious except for the fried fried potatoes. 0.4 soft drink more expensive than a 0.5 beer. Service constantly asks for more drinks or whether the food can be cleared away, even though you are clearly still there (see how the cutlery is laid out). When we wanted to pay, everyone was eating in the next room and we waited a long time and could have left without paying.

We got a place with you at short notice on a rainy day - the staff was very attentive and our dog wasn't a problem at all - great! The food was also very tasty - real home cooking. Price-performance ratio is completely reasonable - plus a nice view of the goods marketplace :-) you can have a good time here. Definitely stop by sometime :)!!!

We went there for dinner with friends. In addition to a very unfriendly reception, the food was of varying quality. We had some stuffed cabbage, which was very tasty, and also pork loin steak gratinated with seasoned meat, very tasty, but the fried potatoes (obviously fried) were dripping with fat, less tasty! Conclusion for us: you can do it, but you don't have to.

The Ratskeller is a very rustic and home-style restaurant. We felt very comfortable here and really enjoyed the food and drinks. We can highly recommend the Ratskeller in Waren (Müritz). “Recommend” is a good keyword. Because of the location and quality of the Ratskeller, a reservation is definitely recommended.

A recommendation for good German food, very tasty, wholesome and well prepared.

The quality of the food was unfortunately disappointing (pork schnitzel with cream mushrooms for 18.90 euros). An obvious convenience schnitzel made from molded meat was served with canned “cream” mushrooms. However, there was no noticeable trace of cream in the sauce, but it was thickened with a sauce thickener. And the salad dressing didn't even seem homemade to me - it was reminiscent of a ready-made product from a discount store. The fried potatoes tasted reasonably good, even if they were a bit fatty. Next time I'd rather cook myself instead of having to do that to myself. Sorry, but that had to come out... At least, the service staff was friendly and quite attentive. However, that can't change my decision not to come here again in the future. Too bad...

We were hotel guests and we really liked it. Very good food, excellent rooms. Very friendly staff, great location, we can highly recommend the Ratskeller.

I ate a very bad schnitzel here, according to my taste, it was square, I think pre-made, cooked in the deep fryer, with greasy fried potatoes and coleslaw, I think from a bucket, the waitress asked me how "Did it taste good", wanted to explain, said... I'm not interested. Understood. The beer tasted good. It's just a tourist corner.

I had stopped on a bike tour and enjoyed a fried herring with fried potatoes. Plus a cool Lübzer. Fine! The only point deducted: I would have liked to have potato pancakes with applesauce as dessert from the children's menu. Although I already had a main course from the “adult menu”, they said that I could only get the dish I wanted for an additional charge of €4.50. That was too much for me. Otherwise, I can highly recommend the food and service!

Unfortunately there is neither a brewery inn nor the Ratskeller open. So just a restaurant with a guesthouse. The service was extremely friendly. The food wasn't bad, but I expect more from home cooking than frozen vegetables.

Das Essen war gut, wurde schnell und auch heiß serviert. Man sollte nur vermeiden in das Restaurant zu gehen um die Toilette zu benutzen, das scheint den MA schlechte Laune zu bereiten und führt sogar zu lauten und beleidigenden Bemerkungen, leider. Ich habe das noch nie erlebt und hätte gern auf diese Erfahrung verzichtet.

Good Mecklemburg cuisine such as pork knuckle, but also very fine fish dishes. It was super tasty and what made me happy as an allergy sufferer was that they made it extra gluten-free. Thank you very much for that :) If we're in Waren again, we'll be happy to come back
