Moments - Restaurant & Bar in Waren (Müritz)

Here, you can sit in a very pleasant and sheltered spot (it's not always warm) in front of a glass wall in the sand. You have to get your own beer (Lubizer), which is probably the most expensive here at €5.90 for a 0.5l.

First time here, definitely not the last. Everything was simply excellent: food, service, etc.

Gestern sind wir spontan in Waren gelandet und wollten eigentlich nur etwas Kleines essen – und haben direkt am Seeufer das Moments entdeckt. Mit etwas Wartezeit ergatterten wir noch einen Platz … und was sollen wir sagen: Es hat sich mehr als gelohnt! Zuerst waren wir etwas erstaunt über die Preise – bis die ersten Tapas kamen. Da war sofort klar: Hier kocht jemand mit echter Leidenschaft. Jede einzelne Komposition war geschmacklich auf den Punkt, kreativ kombiniert und einfach ein Erlebnis. Das waren mit Abstand die besten Tapas, die wir je gegessen haben – intensive Aromen, perfekt abgestimmt und wunderschön angerichtet. Ein echtes Feuerwerk für den Gaumen. Klare 5 Sterne für Küche, Atmosphäre und Service – wir kommen ganz sicher wieder, wenn es uns nochmal nach Waren verschlägt!

Tapas with a wow factor – a real find in Waren Yesterday, we spontaneously landed in Waren and actually just wanted a quick bite to eat – and discovered Moments right on the lakeshore. After a bit of a wait, we managed to snag a table… and what can we say: It was more than worth it! At first, we were a bit surprised by the prices – until the first tapas arrived. It was immediately clear: someone here cooks with real passion. Every single combination was on point, creatively combined, and simply an experience. These were by far the best tapas we've ever eaten – intense flavors, perfectly balanced, and beautifully presented. A real treat for the palate. A clear 5 stars for the food, atmosphere, and service – we'll definitely be back if we ever find ourselves in Waren again!

We were guests at Moments today for Mother's Day... and it was really a lovely experience as always. Food top👍👍👍😋😋😋 as always. The service was friendly, quick and very accommodating. People constantly asked unobtrusively whether we wanted something to drink or eat. The boss is a stunner... with her warm and friendly manner, plus quick sayings and the visit to Moments is perfect 👍😊 We immediately reserved a table for ourselves.

Enjoyed the evening again! Great team, kitchen, bar, service, location - simply brilliant! We'll be back next time we stay!

The Moments in Waren is excellent, best tapas bar

This was our first time at Moments and it was great. The service was great and very accommodating. The restaurant is beautifully designed. The food was delicious 😋. Always worth a visit 😊

In my opinion, Moments is a clear recommendation. FOOD: There were three of us there. Had the tapas plate “Moments” (including Iberico pork cheeks, dates in bacon and chorizo) and individual tapas. Was great. Selection is also great. There are also vegetarian tapas and tapas plates on the menu. SERVICE: hospitable, attentive and a nice saying in store AMBIENCE: Indoor and outdoor seating (beach feeling included), beautiful furniture and decoration. Overall a great experience and super varied tapas. Go there - try it out!

Overall, we were unfortunately disappointed with our visit to this tapas restaurant. The waiter was friendly at first glance, but his manner seemed rather superficial and passive-dominant - as guests we felt more restricted than welcome. The price-performance ratio also left a lot to be desired. Charging 9 euros for three bacon-wrapped dates is really steep. Even more absurd: 8.50 euros for a mini portion of olives that was barely a handful full. The biggest drawback, however, was the food itself. The fish dishes in particular - anchovies and shrimps - were of poor quality and disappointing in taste. The rest of the dishes were okay, but paying a total of 240 euros was simply not justified given the quality and portion sizes. What has to be highlighted positively, however, is the ambience: the restaurant is really tastefully decorated and the location right on Lake Müritz is fantastic. That makes it all the more unfortunate that the rest wasn't convincing.

Super delicious food right on the Müritz. The tapas easily rival the originals in Spain. Absolute recommendation. But it's always better to reserve.

Sehr geschmackvolles Ambiente mit Blick auf die Müritz. Die Inhaberin ist mit Herzblut und Humor Gastgeberin. Der sympathische Kellner ist absolut professionell, freundlich und sehr authentisch . Die Speisen sind wirklich sehr schmackhaft und lecker. Es gibt überwiegend Tapas, vegetarisch, Fisch oder Fleisch, alles liebevoll und sehr gekonnt zubereitet.

Das hatten wir uns in der Tat auch gedacht, als wir den Tisch im „Moments“ reservierten. Wir trafen auf ein modernes Restaurant in unmittelbarer Nähe zu den Hafen- Anlegern der Müritz Flotten. Die Service-Kräfte jung, bemüht, aber eben nicht vom Fach (vielleicht kommt das ja noch …). Da muss die Chefin schon selber immer wieder helfend eingreifen. Das Essen jedoch ist gut, egal ob marinierter Schafskäse, Champignons in Knoblauch, knusprige Mozzarella Sticks mit Aioli, Fleischbällchen in Tomatensoße oder Kartoffel-Ecken gebacken mit Aioli…..alles perfekt zubereitet, auch ansehnlich serviert. Überzeugt, die Weinkarte im Moments ist gut zusammengestellt. Wir gingen mit einem sehr guten Rioja Baron de Ley. Als Hauptgang noch frische Riesengarnelen/Gambas in Knoblauch Chili Öl gebraten (auch die waren echt top). Wer es gemütlich mag, genügend Zeit mitbringt und der die kleinen Defizite beim Service großzügig übersieht - der ist hier durchaus gut aufgehoben. Preislich zu den anderen, von mir während meines Kurzbesuchs besuchten Restaurants, aber für mich in Preis/Leistung leicht überteuert.

The menu sounded really exciting and interesting, so we made a reservation straight away. Expectations were once again significantly exceeded. Authentic dishes, a great range and a very creative selection. Matching this with cheerful and very good service. Moments is a must if you're anywhere near it. My tip: the Francesinha. It can definitely keep up with the original in Porto

Nice ambiance, promising menu. But first offering an elderly lady traveling alone the option of choosing her own table and then trying to redirect her to a small table next to the entrance – that's completely unacceptable. The excuse was that all the larger tables were already booked – at 5:30 PM in the middle of the week, with a single group of six people in an otherwise empty restaurant. It's a shame.

Ate at Moments for the second time, there were 4 people and we had reserved - we strongly recommend it. We had many different tapas, 1 main course and 2 tapas plates, everything was excellent!! Very good wine, friendly service. It was a very successful evening, we will definitely be back! Many thanks to the team!

We spent a cozy and tasteful girls' evening here. The ambience is great and conveys a comfortable, feel-good atmosphere. The staff was very friendly, we were warmly welcomed straight away. The highlight was the food. The tapas platters “Anna”, “Moments” and “Classico” were great for us to eat our way through. Dessert was a sweet ending. We would be happy to recommend you. It was really perfect - great ambience, great food and great service

We stopped by Moments quite spontaneously and were absolutely thrilled. The furnishings are very loving and match the ambience! The service was courteous and friendly with one or two casual sayings. The food was unique. There was NOTHING that wasn't perfect for our taste! The pulpo was first class! We'd love to come back when we're in the area again!

We got a reservation for two people from one day to the next. The atmosphere is very cozy and the quality and quantity of tapas are good and sufficient. The employees were all very friendly and in a good mood. (not put on) Thank you

Beautifully decorated tapas bar. Great Mediterranean flair with small stylish eye-catchers everywhere, including the wine rack, the colorful wing chairs, the dishes and the beautiful black room dividers made of metal/glass. Very nice boss, great staff, freshly cooked and well prepared food. Portions were sufficient, price/performance was top. Music in the background lets you relax and enjoy the many delicacies. We had a great experience at this place yesterday: We were greeted kindly and could sit where we wanted. The interior is colorful, cozy and combines elegant 1970s themes with modern ideas and feels like sitting in someone's living room. The service staff are constantly paying attention to all the guests, offering ideas for drinks and food, and overall they showed a very friendly and also intelligent banter with the customers. There are lots of little details that I like, like the Sugar Packets in a yellow smiley emoji pack, and the plates are made of ceramic with beautiful designs. Some dishes even look like a Japanese bento box, made of wood and high-quality ceramics. The food is unique in this city with many Italian and seafood restaurants. Here, Spanish cuisine offers a lot of interesting flavor combinations, such as mushrooms, pumpkin, baked potatoes and beets together. The food was hot and took a while to cool, but it was very delicious for all of us and we will definitely be back to try more. My only criticism is that some of the song selections sound like club music and sometimes have a strong bass that throbs a bit in my ears. I would have liked something more relaxing, like acoustic guitar tracks and gentle vocals, and I want the restaurant to recalibrate the bass.

This restaurant is definitely one of the best in Waren! Delicious, absolutely unique food. In addition to the menu, which always offers the best seasonal products, you can always eat great tapas and drink delicious cocktails here. It's worth reserving a table here. I am also full of admiration for the employees, who are not numerous but always try to do the best work. Thanks to the entire team!

To be on the safe side, we asked for the table and time by email the day before, and the answer came within a few hours, very good. Great, very nice service that allows free choice of seating (very rare these days), great ambience and the food is delicious (highly recommend the MOMENTS plate). We had a very nice evening and would love to come back!!!

Service very friendly, boss, well… Not so exciting with a large company. Food arrived very late. The first ones were finished when the rest of the company was served.

I can absolutely recommend the restaurant based on my experience today. The “Surf and Turf” was excellent, I have never had it better. The taste was great and the presentation was really nice. The price is already high, but the quality of the meat alone justifies the price of the dish in my opinion. The tapas seemed a bit expensive to me, but I can't rate it , because we had a main course. We'll definitely be back!

Nice restaurant right on the Müritz. The staff seemed understaffed but was super friendly. The food was okay. The prawns are convenience and the vegetarian tapas platter was okay except for the carrot. The meat plate too.

I can't say anything about the food. But since Hubde is not allowed, we moved on straight away. I don't think the operators are aware of the financial loss they are making with this regulation.

We were there on September 7th, 2024. After trying in vain to reach the restaurant by phone and email, we took a long walk to ask for a place again in person. We were guests in a marina further away. We have read the information on the website. Regardless, we were initially left standing on site. Then after a few minutes we were farrowed. No reservation without confirmation. Yes, we understood. A sensible recorded announcement would have helped. The lady explained to us that she had events and had been up for a long time. All well and good. We come from the service industry ourselves. You can't do more than work. But you can also say it in a nicer way. Should I post photos of empty tables without reservations? As I said, it's not about no capacity, but about the tone. If we as guests only arrived here in the afternoon, we cannot reserve 3 weeks in advance. The announcement could not be understood. We tried to listen to them several times. And your answer isn't nice either. And by the way, you were able to respond to the review. Mmm.

Ausgezeichnete Küche! Wir haben viele Teile von der umfangreichen Speisekarte bestellt. Alles war sehr lecker. Man muss gut mischen um ein Gefühl für die Vielfalt der Angebote zu bekommen. Jede Tapa ist individuell frisch zubereitet und sehr gut abgeschmeckt. Es wird den ganzen Abend nicht langweilig. Man muss Zeit zum genießen mitbringen. Nachbestellung kein Problem. Nette Bedienung. Ein durchgehend guter Abend.

Difficult to understand: from "5 p.m. all tables reserved", when we came by at 5, 6 and 7:15 p.m. the outdoor dining area was empty. It's a shame - I would have liked to try it... Addition after the answer: We spoke to the service directly at 4 p.m. and said: "all tables are occupied" And as I said: we would have liked to try out your quality with a sundowner.

We had a really delicious meal here. We have a great selection of individual tapas or different tapas plates. But more for adults. There is no such thing as a children's menu. Super nice service and very nice atmosphere.

Went there for tapas yesterday... great...we were able to sit outside...friendly service, the food was so delicious and plentiful...whoever complains about waiting times...which we didn't have but would always be worth it (should go to a fast food restaurant)...we will definitely come back...Thank you for your hospitality...

Very disappointing for me as a Spanish woman. The taste, especially the alioli, is far from the original taste. Too many herbs are used. Service was a bit inflexible and snippy. We were sitting in the sun and wanted to go into the shade. That posed a problem. They came to us in front of other guests. In Spain, tables would have been pushed together in no time without any comments. I was really looking forward to the food. In the end very disappointed with the whole program.

We made a reservation, it wasn't until 8:30 p.m. when we got there. At 8:45 p.m. when we hadn't seen a waiter or a menu, we asked. They said we can be patient and when we order we can practice our patience straight away and don't get anything to eat for 1.5 hours. We then went to the friendly Greek guy next door.

Behind "Moments" is... a top Spanish restaurant. Fresh ingredients prepared by hand. We had the tapas del mar. No “convenience food” anywhere. Hats off! Even if it sometimes doesn't look "full" due to the size of the new location we just took over 4 months ago - you have to make a reservation. And you won't regret it!

The 3 courses were all very tasty, the staff was very friendly and caring, and the facility is very clean and cozy. I can highly recommend it for large events!

Prominently located at the harbor in Waren and therefore really not an insider tip, Moments offers incredibly good tapas. We liked the tapas plates best, and the drinks menu leaves nothing to be desired. The waitress is very friendly and there is even a boss with the infamous Mecklenburg charm. We have now experienced it and can have a say.

Wir waren am Samstag Abend dort, Laden gut besucht, hatten mit Hund draussen reserviert (Drinnen leider nicht möglich.) Saßen gut Wind geschützt unter dem Vordach und konnten so mit Hund den Abend gut geniessen. Wir haben es uns gut gehen lassen und drei Tapas Platten bestellt, alle samt echt gut. Unserer Highlight waren die geschmorten Bäckchen in einer umwerfenden Sauce und der gegrillte Oktopus. Gutes Fassbier Angebot und große offene (!) Weinauswahl, überwiegend spanisch. Sehr netter und kommunikativer Service, insbesondere die Gastgeberin. Für draussen hätten wir uns einen Tick mehr Aufmerksamkeit gewünscht. Zum Abschluss haben wir uns noch Creme Catalana und Churros gegönnt, um dann selig zufrieden nach Hause zu rollen. 🤗 Wir würden wieder kommen! Mal schauen, was der Urlaub und das Wetter noch hergeben.

…..and very delicious. Found this place at this site. Located by the lake, and in the quiet end of boardwalk. We chose two different courses, one of them was the surprise dish. All of them warm and there were 3 different dips to go with the bread etc. Excellent outdoor seating. The service from especially the owner lady, great. If I could I would give more stars. We were there in the afternoon and reserved a table for the evening. You actually have to do that if you want to get a table. The food was absolute madness. The boss was so personable and accommodating and always happy to have fun and her employees were very, very nice.
