Tolles kleines Restaurant mit sehr schmackhaften Speisen, super netter Bedienung und gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Reservierung sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Essen ist wunderbar! Der kleine Gruß aus der Küche unerwartet, schmackhaft und mengenmäßig angepasst. Sehr wenige Plätze, aber es werden Möglichkeiten gesucht und Wünsche erfüllt. Uns hat der Besuch gut gefallen ! An der Straße kann es ab und zu recht unruhig sein

Sind an der Theke gesessen und kamen ohne Reservierung. Der Service war ausserordentlich schnell, freundlich und gut. Nach einem kleinen Gruß aus der Küche und einer Tomatencremsuppe gab es Variationen vom Matjes mit lecker Bratkartoffeln, Beilagensalat und Remoulade. Absolute Empfehlung!

Leider waren wir nur zweimal dort! Am liebsten würden wir die gesamte Location mitsamt dem Personal einpacken und mit nach Hause nehmen!!!! Maximal 20 Plätze, aber eine unglaublich gemütliche Atmosphäre. Wir fühlten uns sofort wie „daheim“! Tolle Weine und eine Speisekarte, die für jeden Geschmack etwas bietet. Vorweg ein „Gruß aus der Küche“ in Form eine Kohlrabi/Lauchcremesuppe mit Kartoffelstroh, serviert in einer Espressotasse. Sehr lecker! Wir waren an zwei Abenden da. Am ersten Abend hatten wir Rumpsteaks mit Kartoffelspalten und Dip, Kräuterbutter und Salat. Köstlich! Auf den Punkt gebraten und butterzart. Die Kartoffelspalten knusprig und gut gewürzt. Der Dip und die Kräuterbutter super lecker! Der Salat besteht aus diversen Salaten und einem wunderbaren Blattsalat. Mundgerechte Stücke und ein tolles Dressing! Am zweiten Abend hatten wir Kaphechtfilets, Kartoffelstampf und Rahmgemüse mit Salat. Mein Mann hatte Seelachsfilet im Bierteig ausgebacken, Kartoffel-/Gurkensalat und Remoulade. Alleine die Remoulade ist der Hammer! Alles in Allem gebührt diesem Restaurant höchste Anerkennung - wenn man mehr Sterne vergeben könnte, würden wir das tun!!!! 🤩 Man sollte unbedingt!!!!!!! reservieren, ansonsten ist es schwierig einen Platz zu bekommen. Ist auch logisch bei dem begrenzten Platzangebot! Schade, dass wir ein so tolles Restaurant nicht zuhause haben!

Einfach eine himmlische Wohnzimmer-Atmosphäre, perfektes Essen und ein super Service. Danke für den tollen Abend, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Der Klabautermann ist ein absolutes Muss, wenn man in Waren ist. Das kleine urige Lokal überzeugt mit mega leckerem Essen. Dem Koch kann man beim Zubereiten der Speisen sogar über die Schultern gucken und sich so gleich von der Frische der Speisen überzeugen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und dem Gast zugewandt. Fazit: Sehr empfehlenswert!!!

Als Einheimischer esse ich fast nur noch dort, besonders wenn mir nach Rumpsteak ist. 5 von 5 Stück waren on point, perfekt, so wie ich sie wollte. Butterzart auf der Zunge. Das war also kein Zufall, Qualität und Professionalität sind dort zu Hause! Geht hin, ist nie verkehrt! 🥳😍👍💪🤤

Wir waren eben dort. Schweinesteak mit Würzfleisch und Käse überbacken sowie Steak mit Champignonsoße sind perfekt gewesen!👌🏻 Freundliche Leute mit dem Blick fürs Detail. So gab es eine Brokoliecremesoße als Aufmerksahmkeit! Hier isst man gern😋 Sehr zu empfehlen!

Ein kleines gemütliches Restauraunt in Waren an der Müritz nahe des Hafens. Das Essen wurde frisch vor unseren Augen zubereitet und war sehr lecker. Das Schnitzel war noch ein Schnitzel und wurde nicht platt geklopft wie eine Flunder. Sobald wir wieder in Waren sind, besuchen wir den Klabautermann wieder. Großes Lob an Familie Scherer.

Sehr kleines Restaurant, wodurch man eine enge und sehr freundliche Bedienung bekommt. Preislich sicherlich im gehobenen Bereich, allerdings bekommt man dafür auch sehr leckeres und ansehnlich angerichtetes Essen. Hunde dürfen nicht mit, wäre aber auch zu eng :).

Kleines Lokal unweit von Hafen und Marktplatz; gemütlich/rustikal eingerichtet. Die Karte ist übersichtlich; es wird Hausmannskost zum fairen Preis angeboten. Ich hatte den DDR-Klassiker „Würzfleisch“. Seit Jahrzehnten nicht gegessen, aber sofort wiedererkannt. 😉 Die Bedienung war schnell und sehr freundlich. Kann man wenig falsch machen.

Wir waren heute hier essen und es war einfach nur wunderbar. Das Essen war mit viel Liebe zubereitet und als kleinen Gruß aus der Küche gab es eine Brokkoli Creme Suppe. Lecker Fisch in kleiner aber gemütlichen Atmosphäre. Vorneweg eine Brokkolicremesuppe als Gruß aus der Küche. Leckerer Salat mit Rucola und Wildsalaten. Der Fisch, Seelachs und Kaphecht waren reichlich und zart. Beides hat durchschnittlich 24€gekostet, war Preis-Leistung mäßig gerechtfertigt. Also wer sich die Mühe macht an den verschiedenen Italienern und Dönerläden vorbeizugehen, wird hier gut bedient. Viel Spaß und guten Appetit. G.

By 7 p.m., the restaurant was packed; without a reservation, nothing would have been possible. Small, fine restaurant. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed with the menu. At Klabautermann, you expect a great fish menu. However, what we ordered was excellent. Unfortunately, the fish on offer was a bit unusual, so I switched to schnitzel. The service was very good. You should definitely make a reservation in advance.

We were thrilled. Advance reservation required! We had a reservation, and a chair with a book was already waiting for our child. There are "regular" tables and tables right at the counter. We were very lucky to be able to reserve a table for today. The welcome was very warm and the greeting from the kitchen was very tasty. As a starter we had the fish solyanka. Very good! Then there was herring and the zander fillet. Both were very tasty and sufficient. Considering that the owner and Cindy did it all on their own, hats off! We would like to thank you for the delicious food and the honestly friendly manner! We really hope that this restaurant will be open for a long time!

We (luckily) spontaneously decided on this restaurant. It's not very big and on a Friday all the tables were reserved. But they were able to give us a table for 2 hours, which was more than enough. The shop was run by a very nice female waiter and a chef who you could watch at work as the kitchen was in the open area. So you could watch how the dish you ordered was lovingly prepared, great. The most important thing...it was delicious! The atmosphere was homely because not many people could fit in there. Next time we go, and I will make a reservation there beforehand.

We reserved a table in advance with 7 people and were completely impressed by the great cuisine. The slightly longer waiting time (there was only one waitress and one cook) was shortened with a "greeting from the kitchen". Despite a total of 3 different dishes, all the dishes came to the table at the same time and hot. The dishes were very tasty and it was clear that the chef knows his craft. The menu is balanced, not overloaded but there is guaranteed to be something for every taste. The restaurant is quite small but it has its own charm and we fully recommend it. Rarely have we seen only satisfied faces in a larger group. A clear recommendation. The card on the website is not current as of March 2025 and, contrary to the information there, you can also pay by card. If we visit Waren again, there will be no way around dinner at Klabautermann. The decor is very rustic, so we stopped in. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it, and it also upset my stomach. My husband's meal was okay. I had a poor-quality schnitzel, served in a soup bowl with fried potatoes that weren't crispy enough.

What a surprise. Very good, honest food and a great selection. The chef cooks with love and right in the dining room. The service is warm and wonderful. The chef gives good recommendations and is thoughtful. Overall, two great dinners. Thank you for such authentic cuisine and service.

We got a table on Friday evening without a reservation, right at the counter and cooking area. So we were able to watch the chef in his element. This small restaurant simply has charm, is very cozy and is topped off by the great service. We felt very comfortable. Wow, that was delicious! The mustard schnitzel was just as divine as the Klabauter (fish) platter. We were thinking about canceling the reservation for tomorrow at the other restaurant and coming back here. Didn't work. So please come back another day. But: reserve beforehand!

We only had a quick fish sandwich on hand, but it was very good. Warm bread roll and freshly topped with a question asking if you don't like something. Super good 👍

We visited this small and fine restaurant twice during our vacation in Waren. Good thing we had reserved beforehand. The greeting from the kitchen (kohlrabi soup with potato straw, served in a mocha cup) was something to kneel down on. The chef could have tipped it off. Salad with great dressing and the “Klabautermann” fish plate even more than delicious. The lady from the service was super nice. For us the restaurant deserves a star.
