Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant was a huge disappointment. The hygiene left much to be desired: tables weren't properly cleaned, the floor was dirty, and the restrooms were also unkempt. The food was equally terrible. It seemed carelessly prepared, was sometimes cold, and very bland. Furthermore, the food didn't look fresh, which only made the already poor overall impression worse. All in all, a very unpleasant experience. Due to the unsanitary conditions and the poor quality of the food, I unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant. P.S. The owner removes negative reviews for a fee.

Delicious food, wonderful staff, excellent service, a huge selection, more than enough of everything – so we were a group of 17 today and will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful Boxing Day!

We were there for the very first time today and I have to say it was absolutely delicious and there was plenty of everything. Even the ambiance is very chic and we will definitely come back again.

My family and I were there today with 17 people, and we were absolutely thrilled. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff extremely friendly, and the food was delicious with a huge selection. We're still raving about it and will definitely be back. The value for money is more than justified. You can eat as much as you want and whatever you want. I'm very satisfied, including with the drinks. They were always making sure we had enough, and our plates were regularly cleared away. So we're all more than happy. And those people who say something negative should consider that these are just people who work hard every day to ensure we, as customers, have a great meal and a wonderful experience.

All you can drink and all you can eat is not the case here!!! The buffet is emptied early and kept as empty as possible. We had booked until 9:15 pm, but the place was open until 10 pm. After receiving instructions on how to use the beer tap, I tried to fill my glass only halfway on the third attempt, and the bartender reprimanded me as if I had deliberately spilled the beer. I tried to explain, but I wasn't given a chance to speak. After that, one heated incident followed another. People nearby said we were going to be thrown out immediately. When they saw I was about to write a Google review, I was literally yelled at. I tried to resolve the situation, but we were bombarded with stares and whispers for the rest of the time, making us feel unwelcome. We took two beers from the fridge that we wanted to drink at 9:15 pm, but they were literally snatched out of our hands, and we were banned from the premises, which in this case was more than a blessing. Not recommended!

We didn't feel very comfortable. Right at the entrance, there were dirty tables and shoes lying around, and our plates weren't cleared for 30 minutes. So there was practically no service at all. And the food wasn't very appetizing either... Thanks, once was enough for us.

It was extremely noisy, the cakes and donuts were still frozen, and the staff were very unfriendly. On top of that, the food wasn't good quality.

I personally found the food awful. Even things like fried noodles or mushrooms were way too over-seasoned… the avocado on the sushi looked old, and the spring rolls weren't crispy at all… I hardly dared to try anything else… then I went to the restroom. There wasn't a single toilet that didn't have a broken seat or was filthy. On the way there, there were vending machines for children with toys inside balls for €2… that kind of thing doesn't belong in a restaurant. The concept is actually great in a time when you can't find staff—but the few people who were around were unmotivated and seemed grumpy… Never again!!!!!

I've never been to such a bad all-you-can-eat restaurant. I ate two plates and the Peking soup, and after 20 minutes I felt so nauseous I had to vomit, but I couldn't because the toilets were covered in feces, even the lids. I vomited several times on the way home because of the food; nothing about it was fresh. This place is absolutely not recommended! Never again.

It was supposed to be a nice lunch for our group of friends, and I always try to write good reviews, which I do frequently and with pleasure. However, I have to address a few things here. First, the obvious: a dried-out, uncleaned chocolate fountain filled with water is not only unappetizing to be sitting among the food in the buffet, but also a hygiene issue. The sponge wipes at the soft drink station shouldn't be like that either, and you shouldn't even look behind the counter. Some of the food was dry and not particularly tasty. 20 euros for an hour of eating is acceptable and, after all, inexpensive. But if you're looking for a nice, good meal, I would choose a different restaurant next time. I can only urge the owners to take these points to heart and make the necessary changes.

The buffet food was consistently overcooked and completely over-seasoned. The drinks selection was large and appealing. The staff was superficially friendly, not at all warm or motivated. The atmosphere was rather cold, the music inappropriate and far too loud. A real waste of money. I won't be going back.

I wanted to get something to eat here until I saw that your parking lot is operated by Parkvision. I was worried about a €40 penalty from that company. So I left.

All in all, it was great. The lunch buffet was great value for money. The staff were just a bit rude when it came to kicking people out.

The service was very attentive, but the cleanliness needs some improvement, especially at the entrance and with the ashtrays. But forgivable for a start. Please polish the cutlery in the evening or in the morning when the guests aren't there yet. When an estimated 200 forks, knives, and spoons are being polished, it's quite annoying. I think someone should be standing at the entrance to greet guests and escort them to their seats. Otherwise, we were satisfied.

I think the restaurant has really gone downhill. Now you can't get any alcohol-free drinks at lunch anymore; we celebrated our birthday there for the last time today. I paid so much for sushi and noodles with shrimp that in hindsight I could have gone back for an all-you-can-eat meal. What I took with me was a joke. I should have just gone to another Chinese restaurant and gotten something to go. I would have definitely gotten more for my money. I will never go there again.

Disappointing. Three hours before closing time, I inquired about a free table. If we left right now, we'd still get one, that's what they said on the phone. When I arrived, the entire store was empty and there were only a few customers. A bit confusing, but okay. When I went to get an iced tea, I noticed that it had expired over a month ago. My colleague fetched the manager. The manager then gave me a second pack. I checked the best-before date, and it had also expired over a month ago. She then snatched the drinks from my hands and gave me a pack from the store. There was no apology or anything like that. Some bowls were practically empty and weren't even refilled in the next two hours. Instead, people got their food via 2 Good 2 Go. Strange prioritization, in my opinion. Also, some of the food was really hard/dry and tasted accordingly. Unfortunately, I personally can't recommend it at all.

Gourmet? That somehow doesn't fit this Asian restaurant. During the week, the menu is rather lackluster. The salad selection is very modest, as is the case in the sushi section! And the dessert? So-so!? Many guests probably come for the alcohol, which is included in the €28 price... and the chairs have seen better days! The dining experience is better in some cafeterias... Unfortunately, the competitor next door was closed on Tuesday!

First of all, the way they treat customers is simply awful. I felt like I'd done something bad and was looked at like I was a criminal. I also want to add that the food was spoiled. I couldn't eat the sushi, for example. Thirdly, there's too little food compared to other similar restaurants. I've been to a couple of other Chinese restaurants and I liked them much better; the staff were much nicer and the food was fresher. The last time I went to this restaurant, you can only spend 2.5 hours. In the others, it's 5 hours. I wouldn't go there again and I can't recommend this restaurant to you.

There was hardly any staff to be seen, the fried noodles from the buffet were cold and had the consistency of pretzel sticks, the meat pieces were dry, the vegetables were too hard and their sauce was watery, the omelet was completely oversalted, and the potato slices were also hard and cold. The only positive: delicious cake.

All in all, 30 euros per person is not acceptable for this buffet, the only good thing was that the drinks were included in the price. Otherwise we were very disappointed. The staff were not very friendly either and seemed very unmotivated. The toilets were not clean and the bins there were overflowing. I really cannot understand the 4.5 stars for this restaurant. It used to be a lot better but it has definitely gone downhill a lot. We will definitely not go there again and will pay 30 euros for this offer.

Fat green flies on the sushi and raw fish and meat At 7:45 PM, the buffet looked like it had been set up for lunch, and there was only a little of everything, so it looked so shabby that you'd already eaten it once and never again! When I pointed out the green flies on the sushi to the manager, there was no apology – instead, the sushi was taken away without comment. Fresh sushi was not refilled, however. Another employee simply turned the remaining sushi pieces from one side to the other, presumably to cover the affected areas – absolutely unhygienic and unacceptable. Furthermore, green flies were also visible on the raw meat intended for frying. The lemon slices in a bowl were completely covered in fruit flies. The buffet was rarely refilled, and the staff did not pay attention to whether dishes were empty or fresh. Cleanliness and hygiene were also clearly not a priority. For me, this was a very disappointing and, above all, unhygienic visit. I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant for health reasons.

Absolutely not recommended. The buffet was empty, and little to no food was refilled. The selection was extremely limited, and some salads and desserts were empty, leaving little choice. Tables weren't cleared. Dirty dishes piled up... The neighboring table was full for two hours even though no one was sitting there. Staff were unfriendly and unmotivated. The taste was nothing, too; some of the sushi was worse than from a supermarket, and the food was cold, too... and for the price, it's ridiculous. Staff doesn't even care if there's a child with them; they pay less based on age. We had to take care of that ourselves and get the money back. We'd rather go back to Bünde, where there's always a lot of choice and plenty, it's friendlier, more hygienic, and also €5 cheaper per person.

We ate, and the buffet was only slightly stocked. Then a child knocked over a completely unstable wall that would have collapsed with any gust of wind, and we were immediately yelled at. It was my first time here, and they'll never see me again.

Unfortunately, it was very disappointing! The price-performance ratio was not good at all. The only good thing was that the drinks were included. Otherwise, the buffet was only rarely refilled, and the grilled meat was dry or tough. Some of the labels were incorrect or even not at all, and they didn't reflect the instructions. The sushi tasted strange and there was little selection. The serving robot was cute but always played the same music, which got really annoying after a while. It was also very loud and hectic, and the staff seemed annoyed. What was completely unacceptable was the cleaning machine at the buffet. I found it really unhygienic. Unfortunately, we won't be back.

The staff was unfriendly, and you were immediately charged as soon as you entered the restaurant. The food was cold, barely refilled, and some of the dishes had flies on them. Adequate refrigeration, especially for fish and raw meat, was lacking. Sauces that had been standing for a while were simply topped up with warm water and stirred to make them look fresh again – this is by no means hygienic. New dishes were placed in random bowls or trays, which is also very unhygienic. In the drinks area (self-service), there were bath mats for the glasses, which were already clearly covered in black mold. The cooler where the drinks were kept was also moldy. In general, the drinks area was unhygienic, with flies and old, dried-up food residue on the counter. The restrooms were more reminiscent of a rest stop – you feel uncomfortable there. It seems as if they are only cleaned once a year, if at all. Overall, I absolutely do not recommend this place. When we approached the staff about this and asked to speak to the manager, we were very rudely told that this wasn't possible and asked to leave the restaurant and never return. We will definitely comply.

I can definitely recommend this gourmet temple. I was there with my partner for 2.5 or 3 hours. We simply lost track of time and it was truly beautiful and relaxing. We'll definitely be back! Best regards

Once and never again: Let's start with the food. The containers at the buffet were almost empty most of the time. And that was despite very few customers. What was left in the containers was unfortunately cold, looked absolutely unappetizing, and in some cases even smelled a bit moldy. Furthermore, there was hardly any selection. The only meat available was chicken. No beef, pork, or anything else. Definitely too little for the price. The staff was unfriendly and, as already mentioned, couldn't keep up with clearing the tables despite hardly any customers. Plates were rarely cleared, and even then, they were greeted with an annoyed look. When we pointed out that the water bottle in the self-service refrigerator had already been opened and was obviously being refilled with water, we were greeted with a very unfriendly and annoyed response, saying that everything there was fresh and that we should get something else if we didn't like it. No sign of service. The only minimal plus points are that it's an all-you-can-drink option and the restaurant itself is large. However, there is definitely a need to work on improving motivation, service and the quality of the food.

Sorry, but €32 per person is too much money. The evening buffet was already empty when we arrived at 8:15 p.m., and the food (buffet) hadn't been refilled. It was already far too cold. At 9:30 p.m., employees at the buffet were serving themselves with full mouths, even though it's actually open until 10 p.m. The tables had already been cleared. You might as well go to a pizzeria. Visit on July 2, 2025. A very impersonal greeting, followed by a very cool table service. A friendly smile was missing from any of the staff. Unfortunately, when the tables were being re-set, the knives and forks were touched by the cutting edge and tines after being touched by hair. The floor in the men's restroom was sticky throughout. The food was good to very good.

We stopped here at the end of our rehab. Great atmosphere, excellent buffet selection, and drinks included in the all-inclusive package. Four large refrigerated counters with a wide selection of ready-made snacks, and one counter with ingredients for a grilled platter. I'd love to come back here again, but the drive would be a bit too far. Conclusion: Highly recommended.

The boss yelled at us just because we told him there was no food. I don't recommend anyone to waste their time there where such demotivated people work.

When I first went there five years ago, the food was super fresh and varied. But over the years, we were disappointed every time I visited that restaurant. The food wasn't THAT tasty, and various dishes disappeared. I've also celebrated a few events there and was still disappointed. "At Thor, you're not even allowed to light candles," you say. I've been to other restaurants, too, and the food was completely different, more varied. Especially raw food, more varied food. You could make a wide variety of pasta with any kind of meat or fish. If you had to prepare something here, you were left with nothing tasteless, nothing bad. And in all other restaurants, if you want to celebrate something, otherwise I get into the human situation. That is, you can light a candle on the cake because I hope you're going there to celebrate a birthday or whatever. For example, they play music when they bring out the cake, especially if it's for the birth of a child. Here, however, conditions are imposed: you are only allowed to eat for two and a half hours, even if something is being fried for the birth, and you pay extra for the rest of the time.

I'd love to give it zero stars! The shrimp weren't cooked through. The pasta was extremely overseasoned! Limited selection, barely any salad. My friend had metal in her food. The plates weren't cleared away for the entire hour. The ice cream was too cold and melted, a risk of salmonella. After eating, we both felt sick and dizzy. We had a hard time getting home and had to run straight to the bathroom. We're still not feeling well. I would only recommend eating there to my enemy. The restaurant is beautifully designed and modern. I'm really pissed off!!! 64 euros for two people for that diarrhea, no thanks, not recommended!

I can't understand the good reviews at all!!!!! I would prefer zero stars. It looks nice there, but the buffet doesn't have a huge selection, and there was no salad either. One of the meats said baked chicken but it tasted like pork and a little further on there was another strange baked chicken. I had a piece of metal (let's say it was aluminum foil) in my mouth after I took a bite of something. The ice cream was too cold or had already half melted and could have passed for pudding or something. When we spoke to the waitress we were ignored. Drinks included were all well and good but €64 for two people and horrible food. On the way home the stomach aches started and have not gone away yet. We should have driven a few meters further and gone to the other one. I'm really angry and disappointed!!

The worst part is that they've outsourced parking surveillance to a company that wants €40 if you want to go through the parking lot to the TÜV inspection station, which is also located on the property. Former regular customers I find it so sad how a place with such a great concept can go under in just a few years. I've been coming every few months since the place opened, and today was my last visit. The last few times it wasn't that good, but I thought those were the exceptions. We just paid a whopping €34 per person for the evening buffet. After 6:30 p.m., nothing was refilled. The buffet was rather small, and the food was sparse, cold, and poorly prepared. The seafood didn't look fresh, the chef was on his phone the whole time, and almost all of the glasses were dirty. The noodles were burnt, and almost everything breaded and fried was dry and old. The only things you could eat were broccoli and cauliflower, but that was actually only enough for one person, and then no one else got any more. The sushi was more like dry rice with an undefined, dry meat side dish than sushi. The rest was cheap, rice filled with vegetables. All in all, I wouldn't recommend it anymore; I'll never come back. What a shame, it used to be a great store with a great concept.
