Unfortunately, I have to admit that I was a little disappointed by the very cold and almost unfriendly and listless service person that seemed at lunchtime (September 19th, 2024 around 1 p.m.). Right from the start she gave us the feeling that we weren't really welcome and treated us a bit. We felt uncomfortable and just wanted to eat quickly and leave. I hope for the restaurant's sake that this waitress was just having a bad day and doesn't always treat guests like this. I don't think I'll go there again. Because the sushi as the main course didn't convince me personally and you can also get good sushi in other Asian restaurants in Lübeck. However, the mango chicken salad that we had as a starter was really very good: crunchy, fresh and well seasoned.

Spontaneously without a table reservation, the two of us got a table. Service and food were great, we would love to come back.

From a culinary point of view there is really nothing to complain about, we had excellent sushi - excellent quality and presentation. Unfortunately, we couldn't really feel comfortable because the service was anything but friendly and interested. No questions asked as to whether everything was ok or whether we would like a second drink or dessert. Not even eye contact when taking the order and clearing it away. Atmosphere very difficult, we won't be coming back...

There is always something going on at this restaurant, reservations are definitely recommended! The food tastes very tasty and the “Flying Singapore” is also a visual eye-catcher. The ambience is cozy thanks to the restaurant's furnishings, even if it can get a little louder or more hectic due to the high occupancy. I recently had the "Flying Singapore" bowl at Buddha Bowl Restaurant, and unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. The noodles were served cold, the curry sauce had an unpleasant, oily taste, and the duck was full of gristle - simply inedible. It will definitely be my first and last visit there. The food was delicious (but nothing really “special”), the ambience was great (a bit noisy when it was full => sound-absorbing panels would help a bit), but the service was sometimes unreasonable: We ate there several times because we initially thought it had been a bad day. But people shouting at us because we calmly complained at a meal that we weren't given tofu but chicken, or that (on another visit) the completely wrong dish was brought, is simply not acceptable. After my friend, who cannot eat gluten, had a complete stomach ache after eating yesterday, even though she had ordered a dish that, according to the allergens listed, did not contain gluten, this was our last visit. We are happy that there are now many other good Asian options in Lübeck! :)

If there are free outdoor seats that cannot previously be reserved, individual guests are turned away in an extremely unfriendly manner after the number of guests has been asked or asked to leave the free table. Really nice place with huge portions. I ordered the butterfish, and what I really loved about this dish is that it came with lots of good veggies such as asparagus, broccoli and snow peas, and not just a massive amount of rice like you normally get in other places, which made the dish a lot healthier and tastier.

The dishes there are super delicious, but I think it's a shame that the sushi on the menu is almost exclusively dominated by fish and there is 1 vegetarian edition for every type of sushi (inside out, tempura, etc.) and only otherwise with fish. Nearby other Asian/Vitnamese restaurants have a lot more choice in this regard, which is not exclusively vegetarian or with fish. P.S. Be careful because the floor there is very greasy and it is very easy to slip.

Outside directly on a relatively busy street, but separated with plants, inside a bit dark, but still attractively decorated. So all in all it's a pretty nice place to sit. The food is delicious and the selection is huge, including a lot of vegetarian options. Price completely reasonable. Service quick and attentive. Parking is difficult, but the city center is better on foot anyway.

Excellent food! One service was great, the other wasn't in the mood. The hand blender turned on twice for 3 minutes, so you needed hearing protection.
