Very good Asian food without MSG.

We dined here in the evening with a cozy group and were greeted very warmly by the waiter. He deserves special mention for his friendly and personable manner. The ambiance is inviting, the food arrived really quickly and tasted very good, and we even got a free refill of rice. Overall, the price for the food and drinks we ordered is really good. We'll be happy to come back and thank you for the lovely evening in a relaxed atmosphere.

Amazing food and warm, attentive staff.

I really like this place! The staff is always friendly, and the sushi tastes fresh and delicious! Today I got a free drink because I had to wait 15 minutes for the takeaway sushi I ordered (which wasn't a problem for me at all). It was simply brought to me—such a friendly gesture, something you don't usually experience. But that's simply because there are also wonderful cultures and mentalities where you're valued. I'll be back!

We were there for lunch. The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and plentiful. It came with a soup starter. The value for money was more than exceeded. The staff was very friendly, and the food arrived very quickly. The restrooms were very clean. We felt completely at home. We would be happy to come back.

A nice, cozy restaurant that is very busy in the evening. So if you want to eat there in the evenings, it is better to have a reservation (but not mandatory). The staff was friendly and the sushi there was delicious. I particularly recommend the Crunch Maki with the homemade sauce. I was very satisfied and can only recommend it.

We were there for the first time and felt very comfortable. Very friendly staff and delicious fresh food. Modern and friendly furnished guest room, the light could be a little dimmed.

I also ordered here based on the good reviews and was unfortunately disappointed. The summer rolls were carelessly rolled and also torn, so that all the filling oozed out. The sauce from Rau Xao was very, very oily, tasted ok. The duck was also rather below average. The only plus point was the short delivery time. However, I wouldn't order anything here again

Unfortunately, the sushi is of poor quality, the ginger tea is sloppy, and the soup is too salty. The room was unheated in January (the waiter told us "the heating was broken"—but no compensation was offered). Unfortunately, we only noticed this after we had already ordered. Once, and never again.

die freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung kann nicht darüber hinwegtäuschen, dass hier an der Qualität der Sushi gespart wird: mehr pappiger Reis als Inhalt. Denkt man bei Bento "ach eine leckere Suppe ist auch gut, vorher" (Kimchi war lecker aber total übersalzen), gibt es bei den 16 (vom Hause, nicht vom Gast) ausgewählten Sushi eine herbe Enttäuschung: nur 12 dieser Sushi sind als solche zu bezeichnen und auch nicht von bester Ausführung (siehe oben), 4 sind einfach nur kleine Reisröllchen. Der Ingwertee war labberig, da nur wenig Ingwer gerieben (?!) darin schwamm und der Hauptgeschmack von ein paar Pfefferminzblättern und einer halben Orangenscheibe getragen wird. Zu allem Überfluss war es auch noch kalt im Raum (Entschuldigung des Kellners: "unglücklicherweise ist die Heizung ausgefallen") - da wäre eigentlich mindestens ein Heißgetränk als Entschädigung fällig gewesen! Einmal und nicht wieder! Da gibt es bessere Lokale in Lübeck - auch in dieser Preisklasse!

This is the fifth time we've eaten at AMO and it's always really nice! The sushi is always very fresh and delicious. The best thing, however, is the loving service: the waiters and waitresses are incredibly polite and friendly. The food and drinks come super quickly and are served to you with an authentic smile. We'd love to come back again and again!

Some of the vegetarian dishes are not vegetarian because they contain fish stock. Unfortunately, this is only said when asked. The starter was delicious.

⚠️The portion is huge! Ordered teriyaki tofu and stir-fried beef gyu plus a bowl of miso soup. Teriyaki tofu is pan-fried aged tofu with teriyaki sauce and stir-fried vegetables. There are no smelly bamboo shoots in the vegetables, and the vegetables and sauces are well matched. The dry-fried beef river is not the traditional Cantonese style, but black pepper beef tenderloin flavor, but it is still very good. The side dishes and beef tenderloin are also generous. The miso soup is slightly salty, but the large amount of tofu and seaweed in it makes it so delicious that it doesn’t even feel like the main part is soup anymore😂 The pile of food was extremely ferocious and the amount was unexpectedly large. The two of them almost didn't finish the meal. Overall a very satisfying meal.

The portion is very large and the service attitude is good. Highly recommend the fried rice noodles with hotpot flavor.

This is an outstanding restaurant serving a wide range of Asian dishes but doing so really well. The Bibimap was excellent, the hot stone dish keeps on cooking the veg for ages after it’s been served. Sushi was also very good. The service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Finally it also very good value. Not as busy as other similar places in Lubeck but I think the food is considerably better. Highly recommended!

I ordered food from Amo for my birthday today because of the good reviews and I just can't understand the many good reviews here. We waited over an hour for the food and it was simply inedible. I've never eaten such bad Asian food. Sushi, duck, soup etc. for almost €60!!! inedible and unfortunately ended up straight in the trash. I have now ordered from my trusted sushi restaurant to save the evening.

We just ordered food from you and are deeply disappointed. It was inedible from start to finish. We have serious concerns about waking up with food poisoning tomorrow after your meal. Thanks for nothing!

Price/performance is completely okay👍.... Was very tasty

Unfortunately, we cannot understand the almost consistently positive reviews at all. As soon as we entered the restaurant we didn't have a good impression: dark, uncomfortable, the floor was sticky. Only the friendly waiter - probably the owner - convinced us to give the shop a chance. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a mistake. The food was anything but tasty. Vegetables and rice overcooked, canned mushrooms, missing spices. The mango salad was inedible. A lone chef takes turns making sushi and preparing the hot dishes. There was a quick change between the sushi counter and the kitchen. In the meantime, the sushi was quickly cleaned of fluff - by hand, of course. The boss was accommodating and really accommodating until the end. But that didn't help much in the end. It's a shame, because with the great reviews we were looking forward to a lovely evening!

Had sushi there yesterday. Very friendly service and the sushi was delicious! One star less for the ambience because the lighting could be more comfortable. But that may be a matter of taste.

Unfortunately I can't understand the positive reviews. Our meal was a complete disaster. fried ready-made products with tasteless sauce. The summer rolls lacked any spice or herbs. The cola was lukewarm and almost non-carbonated. In addition, the chairs stuck to the floor as if they had added weight to the floor with sugar water. the atmosphere is bland and not very comfortable. The (presumably) boss is super friendly and helpful, but that was the only positive thing. He probably lost the cook so now the cleaning lady has to cook. She probably doesn't have time to clean anymore.

Sehr schönes Restaurant in der Innenstadt Lübecks. Es gibt sehr leckeres Sushi & Miso Suppe (laut meines Kollegen). ich hatte koreanische Teigtaschen zur Vorspeise und ein koreanisches Reisgericht als Hauptgericht. Alles sehr lecker. Die Bedienung ist zu Zack und sehr freundlich. Sehr gerne wieder.

Unfortunately everything was missing for the fifth star. The food was tasty but we've had better sushi. Unfortunately, the service was very busy and we had to request our repeat order of wasabi several times. The ambience was not comfortable enough for our expectations (leftover Christmas decorations, cobwebs, inconsistent lighting). Biggest drawback for us: All clothes smelled like a deep fryer/kitchen after visiting the restaurant. We found it very uncomfortable. All in all okay but not anymore.

Plentiful, tasty and the children also like it there. During Corona times, the food that was picked up was fresh, tasty, plentiful and very good.

Sehr nettes Personal, super leckeres Essen! Hier kann man wirklich gut essen zu einem fahren Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Einmal quer durch Asien. In entspannter kleiner Location. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Preis-Leistung ist hier sehr gut. Hier findet man nicht Lübecks bestes Sushi oder asiatische Küche, aber man macht hier sicher nichts falsch. Daher ein rundes Gesamtpaket.

Kleines aber feines Restaurant in dem alles mit viel Liebe kreiert wurde (die Tafel an der Wand :-) , viel Frische eine Hauptrolle (die vietnamesische Frühlingsrolle ist für manch Kind schon ein Hauptgericht) spielt und alles mit viel Freundlichkeit und ausgefeilter Schönheit (Ente wird nicht einfach aufs Gemüse gelegt) serviert wird. Auch notfalls vom Wirt der gerne alles tut damit sich alle wohlfühlen in seinem kleinem aber feinem Restaurant mitten im ❤️ von Lübeck (unbedingt eine kostenlose Postkarte mitnehmen und an einen lieben Menschen schicken:-)

Sehr authentische, frische Küche und der Service ist super zuvorkommend und freundlich. Drinnen ist es gemütlich, einladend und man fühlt sich einfach rundum wohl. Ich kann nur sagen, dass das AMO eins der besten Restaurants Lübecks ist.

Bestes Sushi der Stadt und darüber hinaus weitere leckere Vorspeisen & Hauptspeisen. Eine passende Weinauswahl gibts auch zum Essen. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich besuche seit Jahren das Restaurant und kann es immer wieder nur weiterempfehlen!

Super Sushiplatte delux mit sehr leckerer Vorsuppe

Sehr sehr gründliche Bedienung, hat viel Rückfragen gestellt um direkt auf unsere Wünsche einzugehen. Das Sushi war frisch und hat fantastisch geschmeckt und war schön angerichtet. Die Ente süß sauer war knusprig und eine gute Portion. Können den Laden uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Sehr leckeres Essen (Ente mit Erdnusssauce) freundliche aufmerksame Bedienung. Komme gerne wieder.

Das Essen war super gut! Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich! Die Toiletten sollten vielleicht zeitnah mal renoviert werden. Kommen trotzdem gerne wieder!

Das Essen ist sehr zu empfehlen, alles ganz frisch und direkt auf Bestellung zubereitet. Ich lege nicht unbedingt soviel Wert auf das Ambiente, müsste eigentlich hierfür einen Punkt Abzug geben, mach ich aber nicht, da das Essen von hoher Qualität war. Vielen Dank für das richtig gute Essen 👍

Amo ist seit Jahren mein Lieblingsrestaurant , denn an die Ente samt 5-Gewürze-Sauce kommt kaum was heran. Aber auch die anderen Speisen wie Sushi und Suppen schmecken immer gut. Die Qualität ist durchgehend super, Gemüse frisch und es wird ohne Glutamat gekocht.

Völlig unscheinbar von außen - wird bestimmt oft übersehen. Wir haben den Tipp von einer Lübeckerin bekommen und das war perfekt 👍 Das Essen ist der Hammer- richtig frisch und lecker.Meine Ente war knusprig, das Wok Gemüse frisch und vielfältig. Wir waren mit mehreren Mädels unterwegs und alle waren zufrieden. Sehr empfehlenswert 👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Das Essen war unglaublich lecker, wir waren 2 mal dort und haben jedes einzelne Gericht geliebt! Fast noch besser als das super Essen (mit sehr guten Preisen) selbst war die Bedienung. Der Herr der uns bediente war sehr unkompliziert und äusserst sympathisch. Wir werden wieder kommen!🙌👍

Wir können das AMO nur empfehlen! Hatten heute dort gegessen: Gemüse im Tempurateig und vegetarische Teigtaschen- sehr frisch und lecker. Außerdem hatten wir Sushi bestellt, was optisch sehr schön angerichtet war, sehr sauber und ordentlich gerollt, mit frischen Zutaten. Es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt! Die Servicekräfte waren sehr nett und engagiert. Alles wirkte sehr persönlich und freundlich. Wenn wir das nächste Mal in Lübeck sind, gehen wir gerne wieder hier essen : ) Top

Ich kenne das Amo vor allem von der Mittagspause. Es ist lecker und nicht zu teuer. Ein nettes Team, wir gehen gerne dort hin.

Essen war super , nur es müsste mal wieder Grund gereinigt werden . Fussboden ,Dreck in den Ecken und die Fensten hinten sind total verschimmelt unten .

Ein kleines Restaurant für asiatische Spezialitäten.

Ein freundlicher Empfang, schönes, schlichtes Ambiente. Auf der Karte findet sich von allem etwas; Fleisch, Fisch, Vegetarisches, Sushi. Sehr leckere Vorspeisen. Unser Essen war köstlich, der Wein gut. Als Hauptspeise hatten wir Lachs mit so leckerem Gemüse sowie Bibimbap. Davor tolle Teigtaschen mit Gemüsefüllung. Und dann haben wir am Nebentisch die Sushi gesehen - und entschieden, dass wir unbedingt wiederkommen müssen.

Wir waren am Dienstag, 16.08.22 als Alternative zu unserem Stammchinesen da, weil dieser Dienstags Ruhetag hat. Es war eine sehr positive Erfahrung. Freundlicher, schneller Service, gute Auswahl an asiatischem Essen und Sushi. Meine Sommerrollen, mit Ente, Mango und Pfefferminze waren super lecker und frisch. Das Golden Huhn, lecker mit viel Gemüse und Fleisch, Reis wurde extra dazu serviert, die Schüssel mit dem Hauptgericht war reichlich, somit habe ich den Rest mit genommen. Was überhaupt kein Problem darstellte, da das Restaurant auch Take away anbietet. Alles in allem prima und gerne wieder.

Ein sympathisches Haus mit sehr freundlichem und äusserst bemühtem Geschäftsführer. Die Sushis sind hier etwas kleiner, mundgerechter, aber sehr lecker und das Verhältnis Reis zu "Inhalt" passt gut. Ein Mittags-Sushi-Teller kann für einen Mann allenfalls etwas zu klein sein, wobei man ja auch gut noch was dazubestellen kann. Preis-Leistung stimmt auf jeden Fall auch dann noch.

Das Amo liegt zentral gelegen in der Lübecker Altstadtinsel. Das Restaurant ist ein Geheimtipp für Sushi und Asian Cuisine begeisterte. Die Bedienung ist äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen wird von Hand und Frisch zubereitet, was man auch definitiv geschmeckt hat. Das Sushi war wunderbar angerichtet und hat verdammt gut geschmeckt. Die Bezahlung mit EC-KARTE war möglich. Gerne wieder!

Vi spiste både forretter og hovedretter med vin og øl. Der var cocktails, men vi var sultne. Maden var glimrende, serveret af de sødeste tjenere, så villige til at rådgive og hjælpe. Meget kort ventetid på mad og drikkevarer og rigeligt af det hele. Vi kom tilfældigvis forbi og det bliver ikke sidste gang.

Leckeres Essen zu vernünftigen Preisen, hier geht keiner hungrig raus. Der Service ist mit Leib und Seele dabei, eine wahre Freude beim zuschauen.

Der Service ist einfach grandios. Immer wieder sehr zuvorkommend und auch beste Empfehlungen. Das Essen ist einfach umwerfend. Mein/Unser Highlight ist das Bibimbap mit Hühnerfleisch. Besser geht es einfach nicht!

Wir sind immer wieder begeistert vom AMO. Die Qualität der Speisen, der Service und auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sind einfach Spitzenklasse. Und von und, ein aktueller Tipp an alle Camper: Man kann an der MUK parken, schnell über die Fußgängerbrücke gehen und beste Asiatische Speisen frisch und warm an Bord genießen.

Das Sushi (vor allem mit Mango) war sehr lecker, der Service war sehr nett und schnell und das Ambiente gemütlich!

Jeder, der nicht auf die Glutamat-Tempel mit den billig Buffets steht, wird das Amo lieben! Kleiner, aber feiner Laden mit...

Die guten Bewertungen kann ich leider nicht nachvollziehen. Das Sushi ist sehr einfach und kommt nicht einmal an das Sushi...

Wir waren spontan im Amo, Reservierung empfohlen. Gutes Shushi, toller Service gute warme Gerichte - passt alles. Gerne wieder.
