Köstliches Essen mit unerwarteten und wohligen Geschmäcken - eine Perle! Ich habe direkt 3 Leuten angekündigt, hier demnächst wieder hinzugehen.

Ich habe absolut nichts zu beanstanden. Der Service war schnell, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Momos und die beiden anderen Currygerichte waren geschmacklich und optisch perfekt. Es ist angenehm laut, sodass man sich nicht unwohl fühlt, aber gleichzeitig auch leise genug, um sich gut zu unterhalten. Die Einrichtung ist außerdem sehr hübsch. Ich komme jederzeit wieder! 😊

Die beste Küche der Stadt! Die Aromen, die Familie und die gesamte Atmosphäre sind einfach großartig! Ich liebe es!

Warmherzige Mitarbeitende, sehr leckeres Essen bei einer guten Auswahl an Speisen. Preislich im üblichen Rahmen. Das Ambiente ist angenehm, auch wenn ich mir (in internationalen Lokalen) oft noch ein wenig mehr Authentizität wünsche. Reservierung empfohlen, auch in der Woche. Wenn möglich, mit ÖPNV anfahren (oder zu Fuß etc.), Parkplätze gibts kaum.

Wir waren am 17.2. zum ersten Mal da.Super freundliches Personal,total leckeres Essen👍👍😋

Hier komme ich immer wieder gerne hin. Der Service ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Menü finde ich außergewöhnlich spannend, es gibt viel Auswahl. Die Qualität des Essens ist hervorragend. Am besten schmecken die gebratenen "Momos" mit Hühnchenfleisch, Erdnuss- und Tomatensauce, vorweg Gemüsebällchen mit Minzsauce. Zum Abschluss Molkebällchen mit Kokoscreme und Pistaziensplittern. Unfassbar lecker!

Das Essen war so lecker, dass meine Geschmacksnerven kurz überlegt haben, in den Himalaya auszuwandern. Die Portionen sind großzügig bemessen — und falls der Magen doch noch leise „Om… noch mehr!“ chantet, gibt’s Reis als Nachschlag. Damit ist auch der größte Yeti satt und zufrieden. Der Service war super nett, fast so, als hätte man neue Freunde gefunden, die einem ständig Essen anbieten. Und das Ambiente? Authentisch wie eine warme Yak-Decke bei minus zehn Grad — man fühlt sich sofort wie auf einer tibetischen Reise, nur ohne Höhenluft. Fazit: Spirituell erleuchtet, kulinarisch begeistert — ich komme wieder!

Sehr schöne Atmosphäre, leckeres Essen. Zum Schluss haben wir Telespezialitäten getrunken. Schade, dass sie in Cappuccino-Tassen serviert wurden und schon Tee und Milch und Gewürze gemischt. Sonst wird das Essen sehr liebevoll serviert.

Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und wir haben den Abend in Tibet sehr genossen!

Molkebällchen sehr lecker, die dunklen sind mit Kokos, die hellen sind mit Mango und beides mit Jogurtcreme, sehr guter Nachtisch !

Authentisches Essen, freundlicher und flinker Service. Ich wohne nun seit mehreren Jahren neben dem Restaurant und bin leider viel zu selten da. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 5 Erwachsenen und zwei kleinen Kindern. Ich hatte kurzfristig telefonisch reserviert und sogar einen Platz in einer Art Séparrée erhalten-super! Das Essen hatte bei unserem Besuch für einen bleibenden Eindruck gesorgt und viele positive Überraschungen bereitgehalten. Die Portionen sind ausreichend, geschmacklich toll gewürzt und man schmeckt die frische Zubereitung. Nichts aus der Dose - das schmeckt man sofort. Ein traditioneller Laden, mit liebevoller Einrichtung und einer schönen Geschichte,der sich aus der schnelllebigen Konkurrenz abhebt. Hier fühlt man sich willkommen und wird nicht nur als Geldquelle gesehen, so war mein Eindruck. Ich hoffe, dieser Laden wird noch lange ein Teil des Quartiers bleiben.

Das Essen war super! Der Service war klasse, die Atmosphäre perfekt. Die Teigtaschen waren riesig und liebevoll zubereitet. Das Chili Chicken war einfach fantastisch.

Was für eine wunderbare Überraschung, mitten in Altona, Hamburg, ein kleines Stück Tibet zu entdecken! Die Atmosphäre war warm und einladend, der Service erstklassig und das Essen einfach köstlich – voller authentischer Aromen und wunderschön angerichtet. Ich kann dieses Restaurant jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der gutes Essen und ein gemütliches, authentisches Erlebnis liebt.

Moin, wir haben uns mit einer Gruppe mal auf eine Expedition nach Tibet begeben um einfach mal etwas Neues auszuprobieren vom Geschmack. Zum Essen hatten wir den gemischten Vorspeiseteller, der uns allen schon sehr gut gefallen hat und auch schon von den Gewürzen sehr gut herausgearbeitet wurden war. Als Gerichte gab’s bei jedem etwas anderes, unsere Bekannte hat sich für ein Topfgericht mit 2 Chillis entschieden, ihr wurde vorher auf Nachfrage gesagt ist sehr sehr scharf, sie hat sich dann aber für eine mildere Variante entschieden, die es auch noch in sich hatte. Alle Essen waren sehr gut, auch meine Ente war wie erwartet, von daher passte alles und von uns volle 5 Sterne. Auch das Personal war super freundlich und der Chef zum schertzen aufgelegt, wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Dafür noch einmal vielen Dank.

Super leckeres und authentisches Essen, ich hatte die Momo-Mixplatte - einfach nur genial. Und die Guavenschorle war auch sehr sehr lecker!

Sehr leckere Gerichte, ich konnte mich kaum entscheiden. Die kalten und warmen Vorspeisen waren wirklich toll und nicht 08/15. Unsere Hauptgerichte kamen schnell und waren auch super. Wenn wir wieder in HH sind, kommen wir gerne wieder! Dann probiere ich die ganzen vegetarischen Speisen.

Ein außergewöhnliches Hochzeitscatering Wir haben für über 65 Personen beim Tibet Restaurant ein Hochzeitscatering gebucht. Es war nicht nur unfassbar lecker sondern auch vom Ladeninhaber und seinem Team ein rundum Service. Wir hätten es nicht besser erwischen können und unsere Gäste haben sich begeistert auf das reichhaltige Buffet gestürzt. Das ist unser neues Hamburger Lieblingsrestaurant! 100% zu empfehlen.

The food is delicious and the service is second to none! A definite recommendation! We'll be back again and again.

First of all, the service and the advice about the food (we weren't familiar with Tibetan cuisine) were truly warm and well-chosen. We were 100% impressed with the food. There's something for everyone, and the mixed platters and appetizers are especially recommended for getting to know the cuisine. Furthermore, the restaurant has a very harmonious and authentic design. All in all, a great restaurant and highly recommended.

We ordered for the first time and were absolutely thrilled! The fresh ingredients combined with the exciting spices were a completely new taste experience. The momos were delicious, clearly handmade and generously filled. The tomato sauce/dip that went with the lamb momos was the best. We'll be back next time. Ordering is one thing, but the atmosphere is quite another. We enjoyed the dessert that was served separately and unfortunately isn't on the menu. What was that? We had a kind of coconut rice pudding with fruit and nuts. The chef can probably tell you the secret behind the dessert... All in all, the food was great, the portions were large and the high price was more than justified. Thank you for the delicious food and kudos to the kitchen!

Came here specially for momo's (my favourite food) and the service was great! They have an English menu and the owner is multi-lingual - spoke to me in English and Hindi, very impressive! The food was delicious and full of flavour. The restaurant was beautiful and you can tell they're very in touch with Tibet, Nepal, India and Buddhism. The place mats on each table had images and facts about these areas too, very nice to learn more. I'd highly recommend Tibet Restaurant for anyone who wants good, hearty, real food that's got a home-cooked feel!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Unfortunately our visit to the restaurant was a disappointment. We were greeted very rudely upon arrival. There was a misunderstanding during the reservation where our name was mixed up, so we were initially turned away. Even after this was clarified, we were immediately confronted with the statement that the table would be given away again after a certain time. We were given a set time in which we had to eat the food, which gave the impression that we were under time pressure. When ordering, we were pressured to make a quick decision, and when we pointed out that there were two guests missing from our group, we were met with just an eye roll. Despite this pressure and the fact that other guests arrived later, our food was served and we were forced to share it. The food itself was disappointing, we were given ready meals from the freezer which made the entire visit even more unpleasant. Unfortunately, this was an extremely negative impression and we cannot recommend the restaurant under these circumstances.

The food is really tasty, good portions, perfectly spiced (upon request they make it more or less spicy). The owner and all the personel are super friendly, they make sure you're happy with the service and food and they always have a smile. Additionally, I was extremely happy how they helped us with our small kid. They made sure the Hochstuhl was there before we arrived, gave him paper so he can draw and was really friendly to him and us, which made our visit extra joy. I can highly recommend this authentic place and thank you to everyon who works there.

Small, cute restaurant with very nice service and delicious food with a large selection - also vegan. The portions are very large for the price and you can reorder rice for free. However, be careful with the spiciness, it is REALLY serious! The ambience is particularly beautiful and is lovingly and authentically designed. Definitely recommended.

Small but fine restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and great ambiance. We ate there with four people on March 15, 2025. We ordered duck and lamb three times. The portions and the appetizers were very, very tasty. The service and the chef were also very friendly. We would be happy to come back. The Paruschkewitz and Kuhnke families

We ate very well here and really enjoyed this exceptional cuisine. All the food was freshly and deliciously prepared, the service was very friendly and the atmosphere was authentic. It's just something completely different and you immerse yourself a bit in the culture of this fascinating country.

Absolutely Amazing Food, super cozy and relaxing atmosphere and really nice personnel. If you love spicy, you can easily go all out here!! And i especially recommend the Bhö Cha, a salty buttery milk tea, perfect after trying the super spicy chili paste ;) You can even get beer imported from the Himalayas, which was also suprisingly delicious.

We went to this restaurant for the first time today with our 3 year old son - and we absolutely loved it! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was not only very tasty, but also prepared with great attention to detail. We particularly loved the selection of children's meals, which even included extremely delicious mango ice cream as dessert - a highlight for the little ones! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, which makes the stay particularly pleasant. Overall, a very family-friendly restaurant where you immediately feel at home. We'll definitely be back!

Tibetan restaurant, beautifully decorated in the style of the Tibetan religion. The great decoration is really impressive. Unfortunately it was closed, but I'll be back!

Great restaurant with great service. Were there for the first time and had the menu for 2 people. Gives a very good insight into the selection. Next time I'll just use the steamed dumplings. The black sesame ice cream on mango was a poem. The salty butter tea was exciting and is highly recommended.

We wanted to try something out of the ordinary and this was the right place! First of all, everything was super tasty, portions were generous and prices were ok. Prompt service that is also happy to fulfill small special requests. Everything seems authentic and down-to-earth, the food, the ambience and also how the food is prepared. Even as a meat eater, I was very impressed by the vegetarian offerings. We weren't here for the last time.

Insanely delicious food in a nice area. The boss brings the food himself and is always available to say a good word. The portions are more than generous and you will definitely be full. All in all, a real insider tip!

We had come here to try vegetarian momos and it was really tasty. The only thing I felt which was little pinching was the price We paid 20.5 euros for momos which is extremely expensive. I would totally recommend this place if u want good food with high prices

We decided on this restaurant at the last second and they tried very hard to find a place for us. We did not regret it! The food tastes fantastic, the price-performance ratio is perfectly fine and the staff is extremely friendly. If we are in Hamburg again, we would be happy to come back and can really recommend the restaurant “Tibet”.

Wundervolle Geburtstagsfeier, bei der es Menschen von hier ebenso gut geschmeckt hat wie Familienangehörigen aus China. Erwachsenen ebenso wie Kindern. Ein sehr guter, freundlicher und insbesondere auch kinderfreundlicher Service.

Tibet is always worth a visit. You can sit inside or outside. Table reservations are made online without any problems and it is very well attended. If you don't come from Hamburg and are traveling by car, you'll have to search a bit for a parking space. I really like the atmosphere. It is very inviting, cozy and has a certain charm that makes you feel right at home. The service is very good and attentive. The staff are very friendly, help and advise a guest when they are locked downstairs. The service also wants every guest to be satisfied with their stay. The menu has a lot to offer and you'll want to try the menu up and down. The dishes are beautifully prepared and delicious. The taste is simply very good. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fair. Because for the amount of work e.g. for the momos, the price is absolutely justified. Anyone who has ever made momos themselves knows the work that goes into them. When you visit Hamburg, Tibet is always there. That shouldn't be missing. Enjoy their hospitality, cozy atmosphere and delicious dishes. A visit to this restaurant is always great.

In Tibet you are always greeted in a friendly manner and there are delicious, fine starters (the chili beef is spicy, but great). Then the main courses follow, always served in style and simply delicious. Be it beef, chicken, vegetarian or vegan... The sauces make it a real treat. We usually hold back on desserts because we're already full, but black sesame ice cream is often chosen by other guests and looks delicious. The super friendly team there, always with a smile on their faces for years, always makes us happy. We love Tibet in Altona.

Wir haben bei einem Kurzbesuch in Hamburg uns spontan entschlossen, im Tibet zu essen. Das Ambiente ist authentisch, dieBedienung sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker und hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Auch das vegetarische Gericht, von denen es sehr viele gibt, war sehr lecker.

Ein sehr nettes Restaurant mit einer sehr interessanten Speisenauswahl. Diverse vegetarische und vegane Gerichte von guten Qualität. Einzig Minuspunkt: Bei einer Bestellung eines Gewürztees wurde nach Hafermilch gefragt. Dies wurde bejaht und bestellt. Bei der erneuten Bestellung eines 2. Tees, sagte eine andere Bedienung, sie hätten leider überhaupt keine vegane Milchvarianten. Dementsprechend war also der erste Tee auch nicht mit einer veganen Milchvariante, sondern mit einer normalen Milch. Das geht garnicht!

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und familiär. Essen schmeckt sehr gut und einige authentische Gerichte auf der Karte. Passend eingerichtet. Preis ist in Ordnung

Zum erstem Mal dort gewesen. Sehr zuvorkommende und sympathische Bedienung. Essen entspricht dem, was ich in Nepal bekommen hat und war geschmacklich einfach lecker. Komme gerne wieder.

Wir waren zu viert und erst ab 20.30 Uhr dort, zum Glück hatten wir reserviert, weil alle Tische belegt waren. Das Essen war sehr lecker- wir hatten die gemischten Vorspeisen und dann je ein Hauptgericht- und der Service sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und schnell. Die Preise sind auch vollkommen in Ordnung.

Ich war mit einer Freundin heute dort das erste Mal und die Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm und die Service Leute waren sehr freundlich und einladend. Wir hatten die Momo's normal und auf Empfehlung nochmals gebraten und gedämpfte Momo's plus eine Portion Frühlingsrollen. Die Portionen waren gut und Sättigen einen. Sehr empfehlenswert wir werden bestimmt nochmal wiederkommen. Alles beste.
