Wir waren heute spontan auf dem Eppendorfer Landstraßenfest unterwegs und sind bei Bok Eppendorf eingekehrt. Eigentlich wollte ich nur ein Bier trinken, doch als wir sahen, wie appetitlich das Bibimbap und das Korean Fried Chicken am Nachbartisch aussahen, haben meine Frau und ich uns kurzerhand für dieselben Gerichte entschieden. Zu unserer positiven Überraschung war das Essen hervorragend. Das Bibimbap war frisch, geschmackvoll und perfekt abgestimmt, und das Korean Fried Chicken war wunderbar knusprig und sehr aromatisch. Mit einem so guten Essen hätten wir bei einem spontanen Besuch ehrlich gesagt nicht gerechnet. Freundlicher Service und wirklich leckeres Essen – wir kommen gerne wieder und können Bok Eppendorf uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Der neue Koch hat’s nicht wirklich drauf. Tom Kha schmeckt nach Sahne, KFC waren süß wie ein Dessert und die Bowl wirkte lieblos zusammengelöffelt. Früher fand ich den Laden geschmacklich Top! Nichtsdestotrotz, Service war zuvorkommend.

Bibimbap war geschmacklich nicht besonders.... Ist ja nur Reis mit Gemüse welches kalt ist und in warmen Topf serviert wird. Dazu kommt eine scharfe Soße die nicht besonders gut schmeckt. Die KFC waren weich und die Soße dazu war auch so lala

Einer meiner Lieblingsorte zum Mittagessen! 🥰 Es gibt eine spezielle Mittagskarte, auch für Kinder. Ich liebe Bibimbap, es war reichlich belegt (mit Gemüse, Fleisch und zwei Eiern). Meine Tochter liebt das koreanische Hähnchen mit süß-scharfer Soße – genau die richtige Schärfe (nicht zu scharf für Kinder). Außerdem ist das Personal immer nett und freundlich, man fühlt sich wie zu Hause 🥰. Vielen Dank! Ich komme wieder!

We ordered food there yesterday. The bun was so small that it wasn't filling at all. Of the five pieces of beef, three were so gristly they were inedible. Unfortunately, we won't be ordering from there again.

Way Beyond Expectations I stumbled upon this little restaurant while heading to the supermarket and couldn’t resist checking it out. The menu intrigued me, a mix of Korean dishes and a surprising addition of Bún (noodles, not soup but dry noodles mixed with protein and vegetables) that seemed more inspired by Thai or Vietnamese cuisine. Adding to my curiosity, the staff weren’t Asian, which made me wonder how they’d approach these flavors. As a Vietnamese person, I have to say the dish wasn’t 100% authentic, especially the fish sauce, which wasn’t quite traditional. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how well-balanced the flavors were. The sauce harmonized beautifully with the noodles and toppings, which included a generous variety of vegetables. The beef was stir-fried to perfection, with an aromatic finish that elevated the dish. I once tried a similar dish at one of the most famous Vietnamese restaurants in Frankfurt, but I didn’t enjoy it. This one, though, with its adjusted sauce and abundance of veggies, was a delight! The creativity and balance really won me over. I’ll definitely visit again. Order: Bún Rind. Tip: I came during lunchtime (Mittagsessen hours) and got a €2 discount.

Delicious Korean food in a central location in Eppendorf. The menu is pleasantly simple, and the prices are comparatively high. The food was served quickly and tasted good. The staff was friendly and attentive. I was able to pay conveniently by credit card.

We tried every flavor of Korean fried chicken today, and it was definitely not tasty. The cheese powder reminded us of those disgusting cheese balls, the sweet chili sauce was sour and not sweet, and the chicken soy was barely noticeable. Only the creamy onion was okay, but not really worth ordering. The drinks were also warm. The staff was very friendly. But that was the only good thing about today's experience.

What a hidden gem! The atmosphere here deserves a solid 10 out of 5 — easily the calmest, most beautifully designed place I’ve ever dined in. It genuinely felt like stepping into a cozy spot in Korea. Whoever designed the interior absolutely nailed it! While I’m not usually a huge fan of Asian cuisine, the food here was genuinely delicious. We ordered: Junor Chickk (Korean Fried Chicken) – crispy, juicy, and absolutely addictive Tteokbokki – originally served with fish cake, but they were happy to leave it out for us Crispy Mandu (4 pieces of gyoza) Vegan Bibimbap – served sizzling hot with a flavorful side sauce Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. That fried chicken especially was a highlight — just wow! There was also a cute little open refrigerator with Korean whiskey and other drinks, though we didn’t try any this time. The service was lovely, too — the lady serving us was kind and welcoming. No complaints at all. I’d definitely recommend going at least once, and I’m already looking forward to going back!

Today was the first time at Bok in Eppendorf and I had Korean Fried Chicken with sweet chilli sauce. Chicken crispy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside and the sauce was very tasty😋 The service was also very friendly, I would love to come back

An absolute highlight for anyone who wants to eat authentic Korean food, my recommendation is definitely Tteokbokki (Cautiously Spicy). Big praise to the young man in service! Always my pleasure :)

Bok in Eppendorf offers a great dining experience with authentic Korean food. The staff is friendly and attentive, which makes the atmosphere pleasant. Of particular note was the Korean Fried Chicken, which was crispy and flavorful. The Japchae, a traditional glass noodle dish, was also excellently prepared and aromatic. Overall, a clear recommendation for lovers of Korean cuisine!

I passed by this restaurant few times and was curious about it. I love Korean cuisine overall, and have been to other Korean restaurants in Hamburg before. Korean miso suppe was nice, but as other reviewer said it has “cucumber” vibe. Soft mandu was over cooked and over steamed, making it too mushy, and the worst it was served cold! It was not tasty either, it felt like I was eating soft cold mushy dough :((( Not enough spices, soya sauce felt like a brown water… Also long waiting even though there are not so many people, for some reason delivery guys have priority, it would be nice if there are two workers on reception or at least separate windows. Overall, it doesn’t worth the price 😣 Though the interior design is beautiful and has aesthetics!

Worst Korean Fried Chicken I've ever eaten. The rest was okay but absolutely no highlight.

I ordered through Uber Eats and am super disappointed.. the soup that arrived is supposedly my curry. I paid more than €20 and was absolutely disappointed! The curry is absolutely watery, super fatty and the chicken doesn't seem to be completely cooked either. After I called, they couldn't help me. Never order from you again, sorry. A little accommodation from you would have been appropriate.

Wow! Everything is very tasty: bok, kimchi, and extra miso soup. The chicken in my Chibibok was crispy and smelled delicious of sesame oil. They brought it piping hot, the pot was sizzling, and at the bottom the rice had a fried crust. You will have to eat slowly, but it is better for your health. I was especially pleased with the mint tea. I chose between it and beer, took tea and was very pleased. A slice of orange gave the tea an even more pleasant aroma. I was satisfied with everything. Thanks to the owners of the establishment! We'll definitely come again.

Great here! I don't go out to eat that often...until I met Bok Eppendorf. The food is so delicious and the staff is super friendly and attentive. The food is super quick and really tasty. I'll definitely come back here :)

The food comes out cleanly and tastes good. Parking is free for one hour if you spend 30 euros or more at Lidl, and you can park on the surrounding streets. We recommend drinking it with warm tea rather than carbonated drinks.

Wrong order delivered. Instead of Korean chicken, I got something with tofu. As always, on the phone there was mutual blame from the driver to the restaurant and from the restaurant to the driver. At the end, as always, the succinct statement that you can contest the order. Great and where is my food now?

Was at Bok Eppendorf for the first time on April 8, 2024 and was thrilled. Super tasty and nice and spicy, which is what I asked for and my request was granted. Can only recommend it.

Food was great and the service was excellent. They were very friendly and caring. I loved the ginger tea, now I want the recipe of it 😄 The only down side was the door being left ajar in a windy day, I was cold near the door.

Unfortunately I am very disappointed 😞. Today I really wanted to eat something delicious, I ordered bibimbap... the rice wasn't fresh and it didn't taste good even when warmed up. The food was overall too cold. I asked for extra hot sauce, unfortunately it didn't have the desired effect.

Restaurant was empty and I don’t get it. Super good food, kind people and something different in an area over saturated with basic Italian food. Not expensive for the area as well. Clearly a very takeaway based place. For me, I hope it stays less busy so I can always walk in… for the business, people need to come in and chill out and get something different and super tasty in their bellies. It’s lecker baby ✌🏼 Ps the sauce in the fishcake dish thing was crack. I’m now addicted and will sell my house to get more of it in me.

Ein kleines restaurant versteckt zwischen den anderen, aber es lohnt sich hinzugehen! Ich bin schon lange Kunde bei bok und ich kann es völlig verstehen das einige Preise hoch gegangen sind, aber ich bin komplett zufrieden jedes Mal. Das Personal super super lieb und das Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Das Essen kommt in der Regel super schnell, aber es kann passieren das sehr viel los ist und man etwas länger warten muss ( 20 min ) aber das ist völlig in Ordnung. Mein absoluter Lieblings bok.

Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut gut. Nicht für ein Candlelight Dinner geeignet. Habe dort schon gespeist und auch essen abgeholt.

Das Essen ist lecker, es gibt Außenplätze. Das Location drin ist ehe klein, hat Imbiss Charakter. Dafür ist das Essen prima von der höchsten Qualität!
