The best place for Asian food in Mainz! I order from here regularly; the price-performance ratio is just right. Plus, everything always tastes amazing: from sushi to rice and noodle dishes, as well as curries, I love it! And the portions are usually enough for several days. I would always recommend picking up your order, as it can get quite crowded and cramped in the restaurant.

I work in the restaurant industry myself, and I like to tip accordingly. Now that they're finally accepting card payments after years, they're entering €40 for a €38.50 bill. When I asked why, he was a bit embarrassed and tried the same thing again, entering €39. Only when I explicitly stated that I was only paying exactly what was on the bill was I allowed to pay. That's incredibly rude. The food and value for money are actually quite good. But this kind of behavior is unacceptable.

I went there with my daughter for the first time yesterday. There was a small line outside. After waiting a bit, I decided to order to go. My daughter had wanted to eat in at some point. We ordered and went outside to wait, when the young man came and offered us a table for two. I have rarely experienced such friendliness, empathy, and compassion in the restaurant industry. A fantastic team! A calm atmosphere paired with excellent service and, to top it all off, great food! I left the restaurant very satisfied. Thanks to the entire team and especially to the young man. I look forward to the next time I can eat with my daughter ❤️

Almost an insider tip. Asia Family scores with authentic Thai curry, just like I know it from Thailand, and great sushi, among the best in all of Mainz. It's not authentic because it's far too big and delicious. There aren't many seats, but the chefs are as fast as they are charming, and the lady of the house is just as good. I just ordered two curries and some sushi to go and was able to pick it up in five minutes. Delicious. We're always happy when we stop by and sometimes share a plate after our Saturday shopping.

A mega-store ❗️Highly recommended. A classic family business, everyone helps out. The portions were really large and truly delicious. Only the sweet chili sauce was a bit too sweet for us - but that didn't matter 😍 Only during peak times, you'll have to be prepared to wait a bit; we had to wait about 45 minutes.

The owner is Vietnamese (or staff). The price is so much reasonable for the portion and the quality. Fried rice related dishes are quite big, enough for 2 people (1 if you are a big man). You can feel Vietnamese taste in the fried rice, quite good. I ate Pho Bo as well. Not 100% authentic but acceptable for those living aboard for long time miss VN food. The place is small. Max 10-15 dine-in customers at once I guess. Do expect a long queue or you should take away. Overall, this is not a Vietnamese specific restaurant (they serve sushi and other dishes as well) but the Vietnamese food is much better than the other Vietnamese restaurants aboard (tried a few in New York, it was ewww). Highly recommend 👍

There's one small point deducted, as the restaurant is more like a snack bar: It's quite small, and you have to be lucky to get a seat. Still, if you're looking for good Asian food, this is the place! I'd be happy to come back.

You are welcomed so warmly. It is small, but the heart lies in hospitality, so size is unimportant. The food is simply delicious, the portions are huge, you finally get a decent portion for your money. I like going there and can only recommend it to everyone.

Super delicious!! I was particularly impressed by the portions - they are really huge and totally generous, you can easily get two meals out of them! And all of this for really fair, low prices. The staff is friendly and despite the high volume, waiting times are short. I also think it's great that the meat is halal. If you want to be full and don't want to spend a lot, this is the right place for you. I'll definitely be back!

The place is a little hidden on the corner, but you can't miss it... especially now that I and YOU have tried it! Price performance ratio Or the price-taste ratio is top 10/10, the plates/portions are amazing! It tastes very good, you can find everything your heart desires from sushi to udon noodle soup as well as the classic things like fried noodles/rice with chicken and vegetables.. the service is very nice.. everything also looks very fresh.. I wish I lived close by so I could eat there every day..

The taste of the food was exactly as expected, but for the second time I had a bad feeling when paying. The first time I wrote it off as an oversight, but this time it was clear. I was only given back €3 instead of €23 and when I asked they claimed I had already received the €20 - which is definitely not true. The procedure suggested that it was not an oversight. Very disappointing and absolutely unacceptable. In addition, although a portion is very generous, you also pay accordingly. It would be desirable if you didn't always have to pack half the food, but instead could only get half and therefore only pay for it.

I have been a loyal customer, I ordered an origami and found long blonde hair at home (all of my family have black hair) and never looked back

Just crazy! Asia Family is a real highlight - it's rare to find such a lovingly run family business. The service is incredibly warm and you can immediately tell how much effort the team puts into it. And then the food: incredibly delicious and at the same time so cheap that we could hardly believe it! For only €23 we got a huge sushi platter that not only tasted great but also filled us up completely. In the end we really struggled because it was so much - there's hardly anything like that anymore! We are completely thrilled and will definitely come back. If you haven't discovered this little gem yet, you should definitely do so!

Doors were open at 12:30 and people were actively working in the kitchen. I wanted to quickly take something with me for work, but the woman said it wouldn't be until 12 p.m.! I asked her to have something done quickly because everything was going on anyway and was sent away several times!

Ordered the food to take away via the website. It was still hot when I got home. The food was very tasty (although I had to admit that miso soup wasn't to my taste). The portions were also very generous, meaning I could even enjoy it the next day.

This is absolutely the best Asian restaurant with, among other things, the best sushi in Mainz and the surrounding area. Everything here is freshly prepared and served with a lot of love. The best sushi in Mainz - we have been getting our sushi platters from Asia Family for years and we love it. The cocktail sauce is also highly recommended. The store would be perfect if it were a little bigger.

I ordered edamame sushi and tofu-vegetable nodule. The portions were very large and the prices were affordable, but the taste was far below the average taste of the sushi and edamame I had eaten before. The staff was courteous and the service was fast.

The place to get a good old fried rice. And if you are in the mood, the sushi that this little Imbiss offers is not bad either. What makes this place stand out in this time is that the amount of food you get for what you pay is unbelievable. Aside from that, there is quite few space inside the restaurant so be prepared to wait or order takeout.

all the food we ordered was great, very tasty and very reasonable prices. We ordered shrimps and tofo in curry sauce, chicken with pasta and shrimps with vegetable rice and sushi. The portion are much bigger than in the pictures so expect to take with you the rest. We liked everything and the staff was very friendly. the only problem was finding a table but pl don't stay long there so we still managed to sit down. Definitely recommend and I'll definitely go there again.
