I just think it's great when restaurants can be discovered and enjoyed outside of the big action (e.g. my market places) 😁nicely furnished, not too big open kitchen. Lunch specials, menu is not too overloaded either.

Fabulous food, friendly staff, lovely decor. We were tired after a busy day sightseeing and wanted healthy, tasty food. We had sushi to share as an entree followed by Japanese curries, with wine/beer. Everything was delicious, authentic and beautifully presented. Highly recommend,

I ordered something to take away. Menu Tokyo and the coconut lassi were good. However, the receipt says Restaurant Muster 12345 Berlin, so the receipt is worthless and I cannot submit it.

Hiro Sushi offers good sushi, and the Red Thai was also very tasty. However, the service was a bit odd—after taking my food order, the server left without asking about drinks, which I found strange. Additionally, it’s inconvenient that the restaurant only accepts cash. In today’s world, more payment options would be much appreciated.

Total incompetence when it comes to customer service. Whilst I understand the restaurant is busy, it is unacceptable to leave waiting customers at the door without any communication of waiting times! Waited patiently at the door for 20mins before being told there will be at the very least another 20mins wait. And this is when there were tables clearly finished, paid, and just allowed to occupy the space. Zero stars for service. One star because Google needs at least one star to write a review!

There were two people waiting in front of me when I arrived. I waited at the door for 30 minutes along with the two people in front and finally the people in front of me were seated. Afterwards, someone finally came up to me and asked how many people and asked if I had a reservation. I did not have a reservation but had already been waiting patiently at the door for so long. He then told me it would be a 30 minute wait. Absolutely terrible customer service to have customers waiting to be seated and make them wait for 30 minutes before even checking on them and then decide to tell them it’ll be another 30 minutes. I left and won’t be back again. Clearly not worth waiting for.

I just ordered here via Lieferando. The food is inedible. Mayo splattered all over it and when I removed it I could taste the rotten rice. An outrage! Disgusting. I have never experienced something like that! The idea arises that the mayo should be used to cover up the rotten food!

We had dinner here today and are overall happy with our visit. The food was delicious and deserves a 4/5. The service was also friendly and attentive, which is why we give it 4/5 here too. However, the atmosphere could be a bit more cozy, hence 3/5. One point that bothered us was that tobiko and mayonnaise were used as decoration on the sushi, even though we didn't order that. For those who do not like or tolerate these ingredients, this can be problematic, especially if it is not specified on the menu. It would be helpful if the restaurant communicated these details clearly. Nevertheless, overall we had a nice time and would recommend the restaurant.

Great ambience and friendly staff but I ordered for a 450g steak and what I got was not even 200g with unnecessarily too much veggies to make the plate look much.

Good value for money, in addition to sushi there are also many other dishes to choose from, service is very friendly. Nothing to complain about :)

Food was really good, service was also really nice. All the staff of the restaurant were really friendly and super polite. However, just wanted to mention that in the end when we asked for the Bill, the waiter probably went to asked the restaurant Owner. And the restaurant Owner was super rude and started shouting to the waiter in front of us. Which we all found super unfriendly. This type of behavior is not at all acceptable. The whole staff were really friendly except their rude and annoying Owner. Everyone has their self respect and are doing their best job. Please be kind to everyone, specifically to the people who are doing their best to make your restaurant a better place for customers.

Very tasty, good value for money

Unfortunately I didn't like the mango sauce, too much cream. At least you can taste them too strongly. In addition, the waiter was not friendly and didn't care about us as guests.

Unfortunately there was far too much sauce on the sushi, hence only 4 out of the 5 stars. Maybe the sauce would be better kept in a container so you can put it on yourself. But sauce doesn't really belong on sushi.

Very, very tasty food, very friendly service, always full - so it's better to reserve in advance. You sit quite close and therefore it gets quite loud.

Basically delicious sushi, there is no doubt about that. A big annoyance is the fact that only cash payments are accepted and this is not pointed out in the entrance area or by the staff. In a restaurant like this with a lot of traffic, this is not to be expected and is absolutely customer-unfriendly. A reason not to go there anymore. Maybe there are tax reasons too...

Extremely delicious sushi! Excellent fresh fish! The ambience isn't great, but the food makes up for it.

We were there with a total of 6 people, the reservation went smoothly and we found a parking space right in front of the restaurant. All in all, fast service, prices like everywhere else, food very tasty. In terms of value for money, the sushi platter for 4 people is recommended!

Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait because the store was more than full. The orders were then taken quickly and starters and main courses arrived quite quickly. Basically tasty, beautifully presented and good value for money. The taste of sushi has room for improvement and there is better in Mainz - but also more expensive. Towards the end they didn't serve us anymore because they probably wanted the table free. So the conclusion is: good food, good price, but not the most comfortable atmosphere

Packed to capacity and sushi only slightly above average. Reservation didn't work either, guests before us got our table. We won't be coming back. But the store is always full, so they don't have to rely on that anyway. A sushi lover says Ciao ✌🏻There are enough delicious alternatives, for example the much better Mito in the city center.

Despite having a reservation, we were initially left at the door, a group without a reservation was given priority, and the reservation by name was not checked. With a bit of luck we got a spot next to the entrance. The air in the restaurant was very bad and warm, and the noise level was at its limit, which made the stay exhausting. The sushi tastes quite good, but is rather average. The staff was still very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, because of the points mentioned above, we won't be coming back anytime soon.

In my opinion the best sushi in Mainz! The atmosphere is great, the lunch menus are varied and the portions are more than sufficient and the staff is very friendly. Always my pleasure :)

First of all: The food was really tasty and beautifully presented, the atmosphere was nice and the service was friendly. But: The whole floor and the table were pretty much sticky, which didn't give the feeling of cleanliness. The visit is limited to 1.5 hours, which seems a bit short to me when the shop is full and everyone wants to eat the elaborately prepared sushi, or there is probably not enough time for a starter AND a main course. Maybe you would prefer to take the dishes away?

Visually a highlight but that’s it. It starts with the (sorry) dirty menu. Totally torn and unhygienic. The food looks very visually appealing. The sushi is also ok, but totally overloaded with asparagus and rocket (sushi mix for 2 people). The quality of the sushi was still high. You have to be that fair. Unfortunately the miso soup is a fail. Absolutely not edible. As nice as the staff was, I don't have to go there again.

Coconut soup, sushi plate very fresh and tasty, as were the drinks. Round thing. The only downside: only cash payment, I had to get cash, which I rarely have with me

Very good Asian restaurant with a great selection of sushi and other dishes. The food was of very good quality and also very tasty. The restaurant is correspondingly busy and not for those looking for peace and quiet. 😉 Conclusion: highly recommended.

We were served very poorly, the shop was empty and our order only came after 1.5 hours and some things were brought to the table that we had not ordered. The boss was at the table right next to us and heard everything. He simply didn't care. We will avoid this store in the future. Luckily, after a while we found another sushi restaurant that was worlds better.

Sehr schönes Lokal, die Speisen sind gut gemacht, sehr gut und sehr schön angerichtet. Allerdings gibt’s beim Sushi für 2 wenig Fisch und viel Füllstoff. Besser denkbar zusammenstellen.

Ich bestelle öfters und war auch schon vor Ort Essen. Das Sushi ist sehr lecker. Das Ambiente ist schön und die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich. Immer wieder gerne.

Excellent food. They could have menus in English. Besides that, it's one of the best restaurants for sushi I have ever been to. Highly recommended for casual meetings with friends and family. I've been a client at this restaurant for 3 years now, and the quality hasn't changed. Either on the place or delivery orders are finely prepared. Really good!

Really good sushi! The Sushi for Two item was exactly perfect for a nice date and had a good range of options from nigiri to specialty rolls. Atmosphere is really amazing and cozy too

There was a long hair in my food

The menu offers a wide selection of sushi, which is also served beautifully arranged. Unfortunately, the sushi wasn't a highlight in terms of taste. Everything tasted a bit bland. The same applies to the mango lassi that I drank, which also had too little taste. In my opinion there was far too little mango in there. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is not good, as I would have expected better quality given the high prices.

In der Nähe vom Hbf gelegen, schönes Ambiente. Die Speisekarte hätte eine Auffrischung verdient (zerknitterte und fleckige Seiten, da nicht laminiert). Service war nett und freundlich. Mit hat das essen gut geschmeckt, Sehr stark an Sushi orientiert, aber es gibt auch normales asiatisches Essen. Leider nur Bargeldzahlung möglich. Aber gegenüber ist eine Bank.

Super sushi Restaurant. Die Kokossuppe mit Tofu war sehr lecker. Ich hatte außerdem inside out Rollen mit Lachs und Avocado, die waren auch sehr gut. Außerdem war die Bedienung sehr freundlich und das Essen kam super schnell.

Wir waren schon öfter hier und es hat uns jedes Mal sehr gut geschmeckt und wurden immer freundlich bedient. Dennoch sollte man heutzutage Kartenzahlung anbieten.

Hier kann man sehr gut Sushi essen . Die andere Gerichte sind nicht vergleichbar mit dem Sushi.

Nice Sushi place near our hotel. It was good enough that we went back two nights in a row. Good points. (1) Excellent fresh sushi. I had salmon, shrimp, tuna and crab. All were excellent. I also had Spring Rolls. They were pretty good, but not as good as the Sushi. (2) my wife has Celiac’s Disease and had to eat Gluten Free. Menu was more limited for GF than it should have been, but they fed here a very tasty Advocado Roll. They had gf soy sauce. Bad points (1) I also had tempura shrimp. It was nasty. No relationship to tempura. It was a dried out breaded shrimp. Let 2 of 3 on the plate. (2) the restaurant has glass doors that fold out of the way to open up to the outside in nice weather. Customers that want to smoke take one step outside and light up with their smoke coming inside. I know Germans smoke a lot 22% smoking rate, but that means 78% don’t smoke. Move the smokers or put fans.

Leckeres Sushi, sehr freundliche Bedienung, schönes Ambiente.👍🏽das Sushi war schön angerichtet. Trotzdem einen Punkt Abzug, weil man nicht mit der Karte zahlen konnte. Wir hatten nicht genug Geld dabei und mussten erstmal zur nächsten Bank sprinten.

Everything was delicious. Serving was incredible quick. We ate "3 persons sushi choose". It was so big and completely enough for 3 persons. I definetely recommend here✌🏻

Das Essen war sehr lecker und toll angerichtet, die Qualität war super. Für meinen Freund und mich war die Platte für 2 allerdings zu wenig, um wirklich satt zu werden.

Es liegt halt an der Hauptstraße, aber das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft und wie aus dem Bilderbuch. Wir nehmen meistens das vegetarische Sushi für zwei. Das ist zwar für viele ein Sakrileg, aber wir finden es einfach extrem lecker, egal wie es heißt.

Super leckeres Sushi, toll angerichtet und sehr netter Service. Mittagsmenü bietet tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Zentrale Lage nahe am HBF und zugleich sehr schönes Ambiente. Rund um zu empfehlen.

Sehr lecker und alles frisch zubereitet

Sehr leckeres Essen, da waren wir nicht zum letzten Mal gewesen.

Wir haben mit drei Personen vor Ort gegessen. Das Personal ist unbeschreiblich zuvorkommend und höflich. Auch wenn es etwas voller wird, haben sie jeden Tisch im Blick. Unser Essen war schneller am Tisch, als unsere Getränke. Das Sushi ist, wie schon in vielen anderen Kommentaren erwähnt, besonders lecker. Vor allem das frittierte Sushi hier hat es uns angetan.

Super zentral in Mainz liegt dieses tolle asiatische Restaurant. Häufig habe ich schon Essen bestellt gehabt doch jetzt erstmals vor Ort gegessen. Habe das Chicken Curry genommen und war von der Größe der Portion sehr positiv überrascht. Das Sushiangebot und die Qualität ist auch überragend gut. Wichtig zu beachten ist, dass die Preise über dem Normalwert liegen. Man zahlt für die Qualität nur leider nicht mit Karte oder kontaktlos sondern Bar! Personal war sehr freundlich und vertrauenswürdig. Gerne wieder, auch wenn das Ambiente sich dem Preis und der Qualität des Essens nicht vollständig angepasst hat :)

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe hier und waren nicht so ganz zufrieden leider. Service ist zwar freundlich und Essen war schnell da, aber bis die Bestellung aufgenommen wurde hat es wirklich sehr lange gedauert und auch nachdem wir längst fertig waren kam keiner mehr an den Tisch. Wobei jeder von uns sicher noch ein Getränk genommen hätte. Die Nudeln mit Huhn schmecken extrem lecker, die Sushirollen sind sehr groß und schmecken, hab aber schon besseres gegessen. Dafür werden die Gerichte sehr schön angerichtet. Leider wurde bei einer Person anstatt vegetarisches Sushi, Sushi mit Fisch serviert. Kann zwar passieren, wäre bei Allergikern aber sehr gefährlich. Auch ist es schade, das man heutzutage trotzdem nur bar zahlen kann. Fazit also: Zu zweit ohne Zeitdruck mag es hier sicherlich sehr schön sein, man bekommt gutes Sushi zu einem angemessenen Preis. Mit einer größeren Gruppe würde ich allerdings nicht nochmal wiederkommen. Da gibt es bessere Alternativen
