I've been here a few times now and I'm impressed every time. The food is super spicy, fresh and authentic – just how you imagine good Indian cuisine to be. The butter chicken and naan are especially amazing! The service is friendly and relaxed, you immediately feel welcome. Price-performance is also totally right. If you're looking for really good Indian food in a relaxed atmosphere, this is definitely the place for you!
That was the most boring Chicken Madras of my life. Really!
Indian food almost always tastes reasonably good. But this was really bad. What about 'authentic'? Who would seriously write something like that? And who would give 5* for boring service and a mall atmosphere?
Keep looking if you want delicious food.
Even though Tuesday is a closed day, we ate quite well there on Tuesday :) Not really stylish furnishings, but very friendly service and delicious food ("medium hot" is rather very little spicy, is asked when ordering, nobody knows that in advance with Indians...) Bread is definitely tasty and excitingly served.
Catastrophic. The furnishings look like they are in a junk shop. Nothing fits together, there are a lot of different things everywhere. We were ignored by the staff for the first 5 minutes and then we waited 50 minutes for two dishes, even though there were only two other guests in the restaurant with us. The food tastes like it comes from a canteen and is also overpriced for the taste and quality. This "Indian" restaurant offers too many different dishes anyway... From burgers to pizza & pasta, schnitzel, ... to fish... An Indian restaurant should concentrate on exactly these things... Namely, as an Indian restaurant, it MAINLY offers Indian dishes. We won't come here again. Then it's better to go to the city center or to an Indian restaurant in Idar-Oberstein.
Great Indian food and very nice and friendly team. What's particularly good is that all wishes are warmly fulfilled. Some companies can learn something from this.
The food was quite good, the atmosphere was nice and the staff was nice. However, I found it really crazy that with such a high price of over €100 for our entire table we were asked to pay in cash and had to collect our last coins.
La comida india era absolutamente deliciosa, rica en sabor, perfectamente condimentada, y me dejó con ganas de más! El servicio también fue muy amable.
1 star because one man who was serving was very angry when I asked for big empty plate.
I personally felt bad.
Chicken tikka masala was supposed to be baked in Tandoor and he served Butter chicken which was damn sweet. ( chicken not baked in tandoor).
I ate here 5 years ago and it was great! Now not enough food, taste: rather poor. (lunch menu)
The service only spoke English - but still didn't understand us.
It's a shame, it used to be really good :-(
Oh yes, the great Thursday lunch menu is no longer available either...
