Bindaas in München

Ate here yesterday: simply outstanding! The chicken tikka is highly recommended, and my little sister loved the red sauce that goes with it. I also noticed how incredibly hard-working the staff is; truly impressive. And they remain friendly throughout. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, something new for an Indian restaurant. My only tip: turn the music down a bit so you can have a better conversation. We're happy!!!

Delicious food - my favorite is the slaw that comes with the chicken dishes like chicken tikka.

Their food is delicious, especially the shrimp biryani. The chicken butter and chicken masala may have a different taste than usual, but they are still delicious and filling. The portion is good, and the service is good. I recommend it.

We were not served, and for twenty minutes the table was empty of even plates and spoons, and the appetizers and main courses were served at the same time!

The food was great. I usually pay by card, but this time the cashier said I couldn't pay by card, and the price was over €100, and I didn't have enough cash. In the end, we paid in cash and asked for the bill, but unfortunately, we didn't get it.

It was a rainy day, and we showed up without a reservation. Thankfully, the waiter was kind enough to offer us a table that was reserved, letting us stay for 45 minutes. We appreciated the gesture and decided to order takeaway instead. Everything was great - the food was absolutely fantastic. The only downside came at the end, when I chose to pay by card. Although the bill was over 50 euros, I sensed the waiter wasn’t too happy about it. After such a warm welcome, the farewell felt a bit cold - polite, but with a frown. Still, the food truly made up for it.

My favorite place. I would recommend anything from butter chicken to tikka tak to anyone who loves chicken. The appetizers are a must. I would recommend the yogurt to anyone who doesn't like spicy or heavily seasoned food.

Hands down the best Indian food I’ve ever had — and that’s saying a lot coming from someone who’s eaten at some of the top spots in Toronto. Everything from the service to the flavors was exceptional. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the food came out quickly without feeling rushed. We ordered the Chicken Tikka and Chicken Masala — both were absolutely fantastic. The Chicken Tikka had a sweet, rich flavor that really stood out, while the Masala was creamy, bold, and perfectly spiced. I’d highly recommend ordering one of each and sharing — you get the best of both worlds. If you’re anywhere near Munich, this spot is a must-visit. Incredible food, amazing service, and a cozy atmosphere. Can’t recommend it enough!

Sukhwinder, the owner personally made our experience here absolutely memorable. We are Jains, so obviously there were some food restrictions. This is when he personally stepped in and ensured we got the same lip smacking taste of their regular food. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Munich.

Best Indian Restaurant in Munich

We stopped by this Indian restaurant just for some drinks, as we weren’t hungry at the time — and we’re so glad we did! The drinks were absolutely delicious, refreshing, and full of flavour. What really made the visit special was the wonderful staff: they were incredibly helpful, warm, and smiling the entire time, which made us feel truly welcome. Even though we didn’t eat, the overall atmosphere and hospitality left a great impression on us. We’d definitely love to come back for a full meal next time!

The food was delicious, but the staff's behavior was unprofessional and discriminatory. There were appetizers served before the meal that were given to all the tables except ours. The waiter was laughing and singing at the table next to us, while he was frowning at us. Absolutely fantastic, delicious food. It's a quick walk from the city center. The service is fast and friendly. The only downside is the noise level in the restaurant. The ambiance is otherwise very harmonious and cozy. The price/performance ratio is absolutely spot on! I'd go back anytime.

A few inappropriate songs were on repeat, and the music didn’t quite match the otherwise great vibe and ambience of the place. Still, overall, a wonderful dining experience!

I’m Pakistani and this place was a Desi person’s heaven. We had samosas, chicken karahi and chicken tikkas and everything was great. Had a side of fried okra as well. It was super nice. We were in Munich for 4 days and we ate here twice. Parminder who served us was very attentive and helped us customise the spice level and sides.

The food is reasonably priced and delicious, and most importantly, they claim it's 100% halal. However, the atmosphere was very unpleasant: crowded, noisy, and unnaturally noisy. Ultimately, the place isn't upscale.

The food was good and all, but the service was absolutely terrible. Drinks arrived after we asked twice, and the food arrived for the second time after ages without us having ordered anything. And we had to wait 30 minutes, after repeatedly asking, before we could finally pay.

Bindaas is my absolute recommendation for palak paneer. Very spicy and simply fantastic. The restaurant has a modern design but can be a bit noisy at times.

Revisited the restaurant after some time. The starters were enjoyable, with the Palak Chaat standing out as a highlight. Unfortunately, the Gobhi Manchurian was disappointing. For the main course, we had the Lamb Dewani, Black Daal (Daal Makhani), and Chicken Biryani—all of which were excellent in flavor and preparation. However, the experience ended on a low note with the chai, which was served cold and lacked taste. Service continues to be disorganized, just like our previous visit. Our main course arrived before the starter plates were cleared, and it was quite difficult to get anyone’s attention when we wanted the bill. The atmosphere remains lively and vibrant, and the place is usually full, so making a reservation is essential. Overall, it's a good restaurant with great food, but the service needs serious improvement to match the quality of the cuisine.

The food wasn't tasty. I'd like to write something positive, but I can't find anything, sorry. The meat wasn't fresh in my opinion. An hour after we left the meal, all three of us felt sick. That shouldn't happen.
