Incredibly good food. And by far the best delivery food I've ever had. I'm very satisfied and happy to have discovered this restaurant. The portions are perfect and the sauces are unbeatable. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the ambiance, as I've only ordered delivery so far. But I will definitely eat in the restaurant sometime.

Perhaps the most authentic and best Indian restaurant in Munich. Friendly and attentive service – and simply incredibly delicious dishes, prepared with great care. No standard sauces, etc. Finally, they have their own app 🙌

We only wanted four wraps to go, but were still politely invited inside. They even offered a mango lassi on the house because we had to wait a bit. The lamb and chicken wraps were delicious, and the lamb was of very good quality in my opinion! The vegetarian wrap was also delicious, but I personally preferred the meat wraps. The vegetables were fresh and crisp, and even though we sat down by the Isar River to eat, everything was still hot!

We have been there a few times, and we enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

My Wolt order never arrived. After waiting an hour and a half longer than planned, I canceled my Wolt order. It's a shame I was looking forward to the food and instead had to go hungry.

I've ordered the Sandhu India Thali over 10 times recently, and it's been perfect every time. The taste is 10/10 and it's incredibly filling. I can definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys curry dishes.

Ordered veg thali from Uber eats. Puri was yummy and size was big. Palak paneer was decent. Dal and mixed veg curry had less salt in them and were undercooked. The offer 3 levels of spice. Ordered mittlerscharf but there was no spice in it at all. Overall expected the taste to be more superior for 25€ but was a bit disappointed.

Extremely long delivery times! I've ordered from Shandu India several times now because I like the food there, but unfortunately, the food always takes 1.5-2 hours to be delivered. Today, I ordered through their own app and, after waiting for almost 2 hours, called to ask if the delivery person was on their way. However, by then, the food hadn't even been prepared; it had simply been ignored or forgotten. Since they didn't even apologize to me, I won't order from them again.

Today, eight of us (without a reservation) went there with the whole family for dinner. We were incredibly satisfied with the food and the service! Our expectations were exceeded, even with a classic dish like lentil dahl 😃 If we lived in Munich, we would go there more often. 👍🏻👏🏻

For me, this is the best Indian delivery service ever. I've been ordering from there for about two years now, and I'm always impressed. The portions are very generous, the food is very well seasoned, and the desired spiciness level is automatically requested when ordering. Any special requests are considered and fulfilled. I always order thalis and have them made a little differently, for example, instead of lamb korma, but chicken korma, or a vegetarian korma-style vegetable dish. I also prefer garlic naan to bhutura (a puffy yeast bread), and my wishes are always fulfilled. 👍🏼 The only thing that bothers me a little is that you can't pay with PayPal if you order directly from the restaurant. Supposedly, you can pay the driver, but that didn't work that time, because he left his phone in the car and couldn't give it to the driver. But hey, if you know that, you always have the right amount of money (plus a tip, of course), so it's not really a problem...

As has been posted here several times, ordering isn't even possible. I've been waiting for my food for 2 hours, and it's been standing there for 25-50 minutes. Nobody answers the phone either.

Food is so good top 2 in Munchen, but the dillivery horibble and when you eat in the restourant they frow the forks and the spoons left right is so loud

Simply amazing! Unfortunately, I can't comment on the ambiance, as I've only ordered online so far. The food, however, is always a delight – and I've tried quite a few Indian restaurants in Munich. You can also choose how spicy you want it with each dish – which I'm sure will be useful for many people. The portions are always very generous – and what also deserves special mention is the friendly delivery service – the restaurant has its own drivers who are always super-friendly!

Unjustifiably inconspicuous, it's located at a rather busy intersection between Gärtnerplatz and Corneliusbrücke. The staff are extremely friendly, the food we picked up was truly delicious, and the prices were reasonable, making it well within the usual range for Indian food in Munich. The interior is understated and calm, and the dining room design is rather understated, not at all over the place. Nevertheless, you immediately feel at home. To pass the time, we even had a (really delicious) lassi 🥭 Next time, we'll definitely eat there! Tip: Be sure to try the lunch menu if you have time: there are numerous dishes between €8 and €13, including an appetizer.

The menu looks delicious, and the food probably is, too. The cocktails were awful. 10 euros each, both tasted terrible. If anything, there was a tiny sip of alcohol, otherwise probably sparkling water and cheap syrup. Although one cocktail was returned practically untouched, no one asked if it tasted good. It felt like a tourist rip-off.

The food came 2 hours late (it said 35-40 minutes) that wasn't it - there was also the fact that 3 Nan breads (only 2 were refunded) were forgotten and there was a HAIR in the food. I definitely don't recommend it!

Pay the price for Biryani, get the taste of fried rice in return. Share the suggestion of what Biryani tastes like, get the answer this is how we prepare Biryani (fused with spring onion in it). Expect something fresh in the busy city area in Munich, get the frozen and reheated food in return. Even tap water costs 1 euros. Expect decent environment inside the restaurant, get the surprise of loud music and crazy Indian celebration of Happy Birthday. Thanks for the very fulfilling service. ⭐ Visitors, don't go with the reviews. It's mostly an illusion. ☹️

I’ve only had the takeaway, but I love it every time. It tastes authentic and flavourful, and the delivery guy is also very sweet. Always a great choice and I order it every time even though there are many other Indian restaurants much closer to where I live.

The food is good, we usually order online but it’s always a pain to deal with the delivery. It comes later than 45-50 min and then when the delivery driver comes (it’s usually the same person from the restaurant), he demands a tip, doesn’t have change of a 50 euro bill (when we already announced it on the app that we’ll pay with that), and the latest one was that he didn’t want to accept our cash payment because there were “too many coins”, there were 5 x 2 euros, plus the remaining amount as a bill. It seems this behavior is targeted for him to keep bigger tips. Totally unprofessional. This part of the service should definitely be improved.

I ordered a vegetarian curry and two breads. The food came on time and the driver was very friendly. The curry was hot and really tasty, the bread was fresh and fluffy! The garlic bread was very good, but the bread with coconut, nuts and raisins was even better - mega! 😍

Be careful! Don't order! Ordered via Lieferando at 6:40 p.m. Delivery time 7:42 p.m., the app said “driver will be here any minute” since 7:35 p.m. Called at 7:55 p.m., order arrived in a minute. It's 11 minutes on foot. Called again at 8:15 p.m. and simply put it aside, then called again and had it canceled and notified Lieferando. I hope I get the money back. Worse service!

A very nice and authentic Indian restaurant! We had a mango check and a chicken tikka massala, both of which were incredibly tender and delicious! The starter was also very good. The Litchi Sprizz is particularly recommended! The food was really convincing. I have rarely eaten such good Indian food. The service is super nice and professional, very fast and attentive. If you are looking for a good Indian restaurant in Munich, you have come to the right place. We'd love to come back!

The food was solid. The service friendly and quick. Highly priced. The cleanliness of the restaurant was unfortunately poor. The floor was sticky, cobwebs on the wall and the lamps, the seat of the chair was dirty and the outside of one of the cups was unclean from pouring. Music plays in the background, interrupted by advertising every 10 minutes. Unfortunately, the relationship between price and ambience is not right here.

We stumbled across this restaurant by chance on a short trip to Munich. We love Indian food and this was an absolute stroke of luck: the food is fantastic and also very cheap. Went there again two days later - just as good as the first time. All thumbs up!

I've been there several times and ordered food for delivery several times. Conclusion: brilliant! They are all so super friendly and even when delivered on hectic days, the food arrives hot and on time; the delivery person always has a grin on his face. I like the restaurant and will continue to order there in the future!

Ordered food for delivery. Promised duration 59 minutes. After waiting 75 minutes and calling the restaurant to ask if it was still coming, I was spoken to stupidly. I would live so far away (6km), they make everything fresh and are not McDonald’s. When I complained that it would take another 15 minutes for the food to arrive and I said that you can't say 59 minutes when it takes 90 minutes, the boss became personal and insulted me and my family below the belt and said he will no longer deliver the food. So don't order from this restaurant.

Upscale restaurant located on the Isar. Price-performance ratio is ok for Munich. Food and service very good. Unfortunately, the Indian flair is lost a bit. Might as well be a German restaurant.

Food took forever and unfortunately the food was also very watery and seemed to have been stretched from the day before. Tomato sauce hardly tasted like any spices. The service was totally annoyed and unfriendly, the restaurant is cheaply furnished, everything is made of plastic. It's a shame, I would have expected much more for the prices.

We had 3 dishes, butter chicken was excellent, eggplant in the oven was also very tasty. Unfortunately, the vegetables with cheese were a bit bland. Service was tried hard, price-performance ratio was right. We can recommend Sandhu India as one of the better Indian locals.

We stopped by the Indian Restaurant on the Isar for a little chat! In the meantime, we tasted some Indian beer, which also gave the place its atmosphere! Since we didn't have more time, we have to visit again next time to taste the mouth-watering food that was served to the neighboring tables!

We've been going to Sandhu on and off for a few years. Delicious Indian cuisine, everything always very fresh. And you can also find unusual dishes, for example the Indian wraps, highly recommended! You can get a table even without a reservation. The staff is nice and always trying hard. We always wonder why the place is so empty, it should actually be full ;) Absolutely recommended!

Solid Indian restaurant. Atmosphere a bit cold. Food tastes good, but not outstanding. Portions a bit poor for the price. Naan bread didn't seem quite as fresh anymore.
