I've been going there on and off for years. Every time, everything from the food to the service has been excellent.

A truly fantastic restaurant! Excellent food and very friendly service despite the low prices.

Food good, slight communication problems

The restaurant is a little dated, which is noticeable in the decor, but it's still okay. The service was very friendly and attentive, thank you very much. We also enjoyed the food; it came with plenty of rice, thank you very much. We can wholeheartedly recommend this DHABA restaurant, just like the other one (they belong together).

Excellent service and very good food. The only downside was that the portion of curry at lunchtime could be a bit larger.

Beware, the boss sends you the wrong food! The card reader often doesn't work. Then the boss gets angry and blames the customer. I'm never coming back!!

The moment we walked in, the waiters greeted us so warmly that it almost felt like they already knew us — it was such a nice, welcoming start. The ambiance is lovely, with tasteful décor that adds to the dining experience. The location is also great; it’s conveniently close to the Uniqlo store, so we stopped by after some shopping. We ordered the Chicken Kadai and Dal Makhani. My wife absolutely loved the Chicken Kadai, and while the Dal Makhani didn’t impress her as much, I personally enjoyed both dishes. The food was flavorful and satisfying overall. A warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and tasty food — definitely a spot worth visiting again.

Wow! That was my first thought when I walked into the unassuming Indian restaurant, noticed the table setting, and the waiter offered to take my jacket. To my delight, the menu was very concise and featured traditional Indian dishes, although there were a few spelling mistakes. The waiters were very attentive; orders were taken and processed quickly. A small complimentary appetizer arrived, and at the same time, my plate was warmed and the chai tea I ordered arrived. After finishing the appetizer, the main course arrived promptly and tasted just as good as the dessert I ordered. Upon request, I received another bowl of rice and also ordered a mango lassi. Both drinks were exactly as I expected, and I was completely satisfied. Finally, the bill... wow again! I received a complimentary appetizer, a cup of chai, a mango lassi, a main course, and dessert, and paid approximately €29 (excluding tip). I was truly pleasantly surprised by the service, the food, and the ambiance! After the appetizer, the food, and the ambiance, I was very pleasantly surprised! Highly recommended!

In the past: Saturday nights were packed. The service was attentive but not efficient and felt rushed. The sag paneer was good, but the mixed vegetables were extremely spicy. Both main courses were a garlic and onion feast. Nowadays, after many more visits: The service is very motivated and fast, and the food is of a good standard.

Great as always. The mango chicken is out of this world.

Came here with my parents a few times when they were in Munich. Special mention for the service. Food is great. Top notch.

Five of us were there on a Saturday, were able to park quickly, and got a good table. Reservations are recommended. All tables are spacious. Delicious food, a wide selection, and very friendly service. Wheelchair accessible. The food arrived quickly and was reasonably priced. Delicious Indian drinks were also available. We'd be happy to return!

We’ve visited this place many times, and I must say the food is absolutely delicious—especially the Peshawari naan and Kadhai paneer. The service is excellent, and the staff are always attentive. A special mention to Harpreet and Gagandeep for serving us so well.

The ambiance and service were pleasant. The food was okay, but lacked spice compared to other Indian restaurants in Munich. The butter chicken was very mild, almost a bit boring. Good value for money, but it's a matter of taste.

Very good Indian restaurant. The food always tastes excellent, and the service is always cheerful and very attentive. If you order takeout, you'll get a piece of chocolate with your pickup. Different weekly menus, so there's plenty of variety.

The restaurant is very stylish and modern. A very pleasant atmosphere. The service was very good! The staff there is very friendly and attentive. The food was great! My girlfriend and I had vegetarian. All in all, everything was to our satisfaction and we had nothing to complain about.

Lovely place. The atmosphere is super nice and the place is super comfortable. Service was really fast and friendly, and the orders came super fast. Food was amazing, and the size of the portions was really nice, no one was hungry in the end. The menu is very extensive, and you can have different options of authentic dishes. Best papri chat I have ever eaten

Overall, always good! It only gets a little difficult if you can't tolerate cow's milk. Milk or cream is used in all dishes. Even the dhal is not vegan. Nevertheless, it is still possible to get something tasty for vegans or variants of some dishes without dairy products upon request. They tried very hard and were nice to find a good solution. It would be nice (and easy 😌) to get an Indian chai with vegan milk 😊💬 - you can dream 🤭

Just WOW! What a service…. Unbeatable! The waiters are super nice and friendly, very attentive...they even accompany you to the door to say goodbye, dressed more cleanly than in any other restaurant 👍🏼 The food was also very good We had chicken tıkka masala and butter chicken

One of the best Indian restaurants in Munich. The potato filled samosa was done to perfection and was served hot. The paneer tikka was the highlight and had the perfect marination. The staff is very friendly. The ambience is soothing, calm, and makes you feel comfortable. Highly recommended

I was a regular customer at the restaurant. Unfortunately, when I visited again on Saturday, I noticed that the portions have become considerably smaller. For dishes like butter chicken, you now use a different, smaller plate to serve it, which is an indication that you have decided to reduce the portion sizes. Unfortunately, I will have to reconsider whether I will visit again.

Our favorite Indian for years 😀 very fine cuisine, very complex and good seasonings. Friendly, chic, a great restaurant. Update after renovation 2024: Chic new design, very tasteful and large space. Unfortunately a little louder than before. The food is great, in addition to the established standards there are some exciting new dishes that I had never tasted before and which are very exciting and delicious with a variety of seasonings. Recommendation: Assamese chicken (warning, spicier than expected, but worth it). The service is friendly as usual and it's just fun to spend an evening here. Audience is now a little younger and even more international, many (presumably) Indian expats.

Super tasty food and extremely good service that doesn't exist often these days. The restaurant is also very nicely decorated. It can only get a little cool at the tables by the door. We will definitely come back!

I have known the Dhaba since it opened about 15 years ago. For me, it has always been one of the best and most beautiful Indian restaurants with the complex flavors of its food, its friendly staff and its ambience. A feel-good place that we visited several times a year, including for private celebrations. Now the Dhaba has been renovated and has a bit of a makeover and a new menu. I miss the Ganesha sculpture a little, but the new room concept impresses with its clear design and pleasant colors and shapes. However, the atmosphere seems a bit louder than before. We were completely thrilled by the dishes that have now been added to the menu. The Manchurian starter and the main courses Assam Chicken Curry and Keema Gosht offered great taste experiences with their complex spice compositions. That's how I wish it would be - many Indian restaurants in Germany have adapted too much to European tastes; this is not the case with the Dhaba. Dear Dhaba team, please keep it up! Happiness would now be absolutely complete if papadum were served as an appetizer again 😉

There are a lot of free side dishes (if you're nice and personable).

More or the North Indian Dhaba food you expect. I think this is very Delhi and n idly spicy taste. Ask for Well done naan and paratha for crispy sides.

I have ordered Fish curry from lunch menu (11:30-14:30), here I was having options to add either salad or soup. So I have asked for Soup( I got tomato soup). Additionally I had order a garlic naan. Rice You will get by default with all the gravy in Germany this is my experience. Food was delicious 😋 Except garlic naan didn’t meet my expectations. But overall good. Sure I’ll come next time.

Very good food. We come by every now and then when we feel like Indian cuisine. The food is not overly seasoned and there is enough quantity. Rice is served for free.

We expected more from this place from the reviews we read. Unfortunately we were disappointed, whatever curry we had ordered , biryani also had the same taste which wasn't so great tbh.

The Dhaba is absolutely recommended! I've been there twice and felt completely comfortable every time. The food is very good except for the little things. The side salad could be a little more sophisticated and the sweet at the end could be made more lovingly instead of just serving small Milka bars. But the main courses are really recommended. The atmosphere is cozy, even if it is perhaps a little old. The service is friendly and attentive, just as you would expect. The price-performance ratio is right. If you like good Indian food, you've come to the right place and you definitely can't go wrong.

I ordered delivery. Super delicious Indian food. I ordered chicken curry and rice. I loved that the rice was mixed with cumin, gave it a lovely unforgettable flavour. I was surprised with the lovely quality of food that arrived upon delivery. I will order again. Absolutely recommended.
