Very tasty food at a fair price! Staff very quick, super friendly and incredibly accommodating, especially to our little daughter! Definitely worth a visit!!

Thanks to the NeoTaste app, we discovered this Indian restaurant – and it was a real discovery! We didn't know it before, but after our first visit it's clear: we'll be coming regularly now. The service was by far one of the most professional and friendly we have experienced in recent years. The entire team creates a pleasant atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. The food? Simply outstanding! Perfectly seasoned, authentic and freshly prepared. An all-round successful visit – absolute recommendation!

We had a delicious meal and drank a good Zweigelt. Once again a very nice recommendation from Dr. Google. Not immediately inviting from the outside, great location near Scheidplatz and Schwabing Clinic, impressed by food, wine and very friendly staff.

An absolute taste experience! The food was to die for – perfectly seasoned and simply heavenly. The cozy interior invites you to linger, and the attentive, friendly service makes your visit a pleasant one. We always enjoy coming here!

It’s very rare to find such a good indian restaurant with such good prices these days. I can’t speak about the whole menu, as we usually eat Shahi Paneer and Butter chicken/Tikka Masala, but those dishes are very delicious here. The staff is very kind, service is fast and the atmosphere is lovely - you can find a free table last minute.

The food was good overall. The naan bread was tasty, but not the best I've ever eaten. The mango chicken had an intense mango flavor, perhaps a little too strong for my taste, but still good . The butter chicken was excellent and definitely worth recommending. The service was friendly and attentive – overall a pleasant experience!

The dishes are excellently prepared, especially the lentil soup is to die for! I can highly recommend this restaurant as I have always loved it, the food stands out from all the others in the area!

Nice evening with delicious food

I find the food there extremely delicious. There are a lot of Indians, but everything tastes really good here. I often pick something up and find the price/performance ratio for Munich to be very good. We have also eaten there several times. It's decorated quite nicely, but I wouldn't go there now because of the furnishings. The service is often just like Indians usually are... anyone who has been to India knows what I mean. But everyone is trying hard and friendly. Can definitely recommend it.

Had dinner at Daawat last night The place is nicely decorated, none of them were very friendly and accommodating, but the food was a complete disappointment. We had duck and lamb, the side dishes were very tasty, but the duck meat was dry and tough, and you couldn't cut the lamb with a knife dry, tough and fibrous It was like the sole of a shoe maybe we were unlucky.

Excellent food. Just did Lieferando delivery so can’t speak to the restaurant ambience, but the amazing food seems to say enough! We had the vegetarian Alu Bhini Chana Masala and butter chicken. So good.

Although we enjoyed the desserts, I found the main dishes lacklustre when it came to spice and flavours. It contained the necessary elements of Indian cuisine but was unable to coalesce together into a complete meal.

Dawaat is rustic and a bit old-fashioned, but that doesn't matter - the staff is super friendly and the food is really tasty 🍛😊 Price-performance ratio is also absolutely right💸👌

We have been there multiple times for the Ladies Night on Tuesdays, when they offer 1+1 in main dishes.

A welcoming restaurant with friendly service and affordable, tasty food. The Seekh Kebab and Lamb Mango (Mutton Mango) were excellent, with the Lamb Mango being a mild option for those avoiding spice. The Gulab Jamun and Kokos Lassi were perfect complements to the meal

Lamm Masala and DAAWAT Biryani are both delicious, with a lot of tender meat and plenty of spices. They are better than what I have eaten in India! I think this is the best Indian food I have eaten in Germany so far, highly recommended! However, the portion is a bit on the small side, not sure if it’s because of the NeoTaste discount. The service is very attentive, it would be perfect if the service staff could smile more.

Everything is clear to the operator himself. For the ambience you can give yourself 4 stars depending on what you are expecting. But since the rooms are in a small, old building, there isn't much in terms of interior space. The beer garden will definitely pull it off. But I didn't see it or be able to use it because it was cold and in the evening so we were inside. Otherwise, the online options for ordering and reserving everything from tables to personal service and prices are highly recommended. The food was particularly delicious. A little dream. You should make a reservation in the evening. It was fully occupied on a Tuesday during the week. Rightly so. A great restaurant! Any time!

I went for dinner on a weekday evening and ordered paneer tikka masala and garlic naan. They also gave rice along with the main dish. Food tasted good, however couldnot finish all. I asked the waiter to pack the leftover food, he played cleverly and didnot packed complete rice. He put paneer tikka in a box and in the little space left he put rice which i think was less than even half of what was left. I immediately got to know how so much food can come in such a small box but I didnot said anything to him. Please note -dont think customer is fool, may be I will hardly go there again.

The dishes are incredibly delicious and authentic, with a great selection of dishes to suit every taste. Particularly noteworthy is the child-friendliness - the staff is super friendly, and there are also suitable, mild dishes for the little ones. Always a pleasure to eat here!

The food was delicious, prices were good, drinks were cheap. Only the portion was a bit small. We were there for dinner and there were only a few pieces of meat, but plenty of sauce. Even with a lot of rice as a side dish, we weren't completely full; there could have been 2-3 more pieces of meat.

Best Indian Restaurant in Munich

Had a good family dinner, the person asked for the level of spice in the dishes we ordered. Felt like eating in India.

There were two of us and we both had vegetarian dishes. The food was very tasty and the price was right. Great service, highly recommended

The beer garden behind the house is great! The food was very tasty at a very good price from the lunch menu. The waiter was also super nice and accepted any special requests.

Best indian food in town, I come here pretty often 🤩🤩🤩

2 years ago we were regular guests/orderers in the restaurant and we always enjoyed it. Ordered something for delivery today, after 2 hours the food still wasn't there. Called again (and asked really politely), then they said we had ordered from another restaurant. Which of course is nonsense because we only have one number from the bar and I pressed redial. Unbelievable, no apology, unfriendly and rude on the phone and then blaming the guest/customer for completely planning the order. No idea if the management/innkeepers have changed, but like this: Never again!

Good, inexpensive Indian restaurant with daily changing lunch menus. The tandoori chicken and the tandoori duck with vegetables on the iron pan are particularly delicious. They recently had a nice beer garden again, you can sit in the countryside. Only the passage to the beer garden is still difficult.
