Sehr leckere indische Speisen. Diverse Auswahl möglich. Auch nachreichen von Reis ohne Probleme machbar. Online Reservierung war völlig unkompliziert umgesetzt. Ein Kinderstuhl konnte sogar auch mit an den Tisch gestellt werden.

Das Restaurant war insgesamt in Ordnung. Die Portionen waren groß, allerdings bestand ein großer Teil davon aus Reis, während das Fleisch eher sparsam bemessen war. Der Service war höflich und korrekt, wirkte jedoch etwas distanziert und wenig engagiert. Das Essen war okay, hat mich aber nicht besonders überzeugt. Für mich persönlich gibt es daher keinen besonderen Grund, noch einmal wiederzukommen.

Mittagessen, noch vor Ort und dann zu Hause , Durchfall. Sehr kleine Portion.... Geschmacklich, nicht zu empfehlen.. Der Hammer 🔨 mit den Getränken, 033 l Spezi in der Flasche serviert für 4,90€ und lauwarm. Einmal und nie wieder...

Gehe seid viel Jahrzehnten in ganz Europa gerne Indisch essen. Ich hatte für 19,80 die Mixed Tandoori Grill Platte. Es war ein Streichholzschachtel- "großes" Fischstückchen, EINE Shrimpsgarnele 3cm, ein Lammhack Röllchen kleiner als ein Zeigerfinger, ein Huhndrumstickchen innen hohl und ein Tischtennisball "grosses" rotes Filetstück. Gepaart mit ein wenig Gemüse. Der Reis war wenig aromatisch. Für diesen Preis war das wirklich sehr sehr mickrig !!! Ich hätte 3 dieser Gerichte essen können. Traurig. Wir werden sich nicht wieder einkehren.

Das beste indische Restaurant in München, ich schlage ihnen vor dass mal rein gehen und das leckere Essen genießen 😋😋😋

Und die letzte Aktualisierung, denn jetzt waren wir definitiv zum letzten Mal dort: Portionen halbiert, das Essen bestand aus schleimiger, fade schmeckender Fertigsoße mit ein paar Fleischbrocken drin. Ein paar winzige Zwiebel- und Paprikastückchen, verkocht. Das Ganze kaum als indisch identifizierbar, ohne jedes Gewürz. Wir sind enttäuscht und verärgert. Von ehemals 5 begeisterten Punkten runter auf 0 - wir kommen definitiv nicht wieder. Aktualisierung: Leider hat sich auch hier einiges geändert. Das Essen ist teurer geworden, dafür hat die Qualität der Speisen stark abgenommen. Beim letzten Mal waren wir richtig enttäuscht. Das Essen aufgewärmt und wässrig,das Fleisch steinhart und offensichtlich nicht frisch. Schade, das war einmal unser Lieblingsinder… Superleckeres Essen, sehr fein gewürzt, zu absolut fairen Preisen. Dazu angenehmer und aufmerksamer Service. Top!

Authentisch würziges Gerichte in großen Portionen. Freundlicher Service, der auf unsere individuellen Wünsche eingegangen ist. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder ins Daawat.

Das Essen war wirklich gut, und sie haben extra Bhatura zu unserem Channa Masala zubereitet. Das neue Dahi k Shole war ebenfalls fantastisch und unbedingt einen Versuch wert. Auch Gajar Halwa war überraschend lecker.

Das Restaurant Dawat war früher sehr gut. Dort war besonders das Butter Chicken sehr lecker.

Das Essen war sehr mild gewürzt und der Chai hatte ebenfalls keinen sonderlich guten Geschmack. Sehr schade.

Ein wunderschönes indisches Restaurant, hier treffe ich mich alle paar Wochen mit einem Freund zum Abendessen.

Wow! Fantastisches Essen und superfreundliche, zuvorkommende Bedienung. Wir hatten Dal und Butter Chicken bestellt, und der Geschmack war einfach unglaublich – so etwas hatte ich noch nie erlebt. Ich war schon in einigen indischen Restaurants in München, aber dieses ist mit Abstand das beste!

Während eines Wochenendaufenthalts in München waren wir im Daawat. Das Essen war superlecker und der Service freundlich. Unser Bestellung kam ziemlich schnell. Wir waren alle begeistert.

Hier ist jeden Dienstag 'Ladies Night', da zahlt man (Frau) nur die Hälfte der bestellten Hauptgerichte. Wir gehen regelmäßig als Freundinnengruppe dienstags hier essen. Das Essen ist super lecker, der Service top. Jedes Mal ein entspannter Abend :) freue mich schon aufs nächstes Mal.

Zuerst das Positive: Sehr freundlicher und schneller Service. Nun zum Essen (Mittagsmenü M4 + Suppe): Unsäglich schlecht. Ohne Liebe zubereitet. Die Suppe war eine Gemüsesuppe, leicht angedickt, sah gut aus. Geschmacklich unterirdisch. Keine typisch indischen Aromen. Schmeckte mehlig (übertrieben eingesetzte Mehlschwitze?). Die Hauptspeise war Murgh Tikka (Hähnchenbrust, Gemüse, Sauce). Das Hähnchen war bereits zum 2. Mal gestorben. Übergart (innen total trocken). Gemüse war praktisch nur hellgrüner Paprika in Streifen. Huhn + Gemüse waren durch die extrem heiße Platte unten bereits verbrannt. Die dazu gereichte Sauce war ohne jegliche Aromen und hatte eine seltsam sämige Konsistenz. Der Haustee (eigentlich ein Highlight in Indischen Restaurants) hatte einen seltsamen Abgang im Geschmack. Ebenfalls wurde alles vermisst, was man von Indischen Restaurants gewohnt ist. Nie wieder!

Ich habe selten so ein guten Service gesehen wirklich eine 10/10 hier ist das Motto Kunde ist König Realität und nicht nur ein Motto das Essen macht einen satt und ist eine sehr gute Portion für seinen Preis also absolute Empfehlung Leute.

Der Service war unhöflich, das Essen fade und das Naan trocken und geschmacklos – das schlechteste, das ich je gegessen habe. Die Preise sind für die schlechte Qualität viel zu hoch. Momentan finden dort große Bauarbeiten statt, was die Atmosphäre zusätzlich belastet. Trotzdem wollten wir dem Restaurant eine Chance geben, da die Bauarbeiten nicht in ihrer Hand liegen. Der Kellner war unhöflich und weigerte sich, unsere Gutscheine einzulösen (obwohl deutlich darauf hingewiesen wurde, dass sie für alle Menüs gelten). Kurz vor der Pause kam der Kellner und hielt uns sein Handy vors Gesicht, um uns mitzuteilen, dass wir in genau acht Minuten gehen müssten. Man sollte meinen, dass man seine Kunden gerade in schwierigen Zeiten wie Bauarbeiten auf der Straße behalten möchte… Wir werden das Restaurant definitiv nicht weiterempfehlen.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Ich war am Sonntag dort und hatte Chicken Tikka Masala, Karahi Paneer und Butter Naan. Wenn Sie die besten vegetarischen Gerichte in München suchen, sollten Sie unbedingt Daawat besuchen. Der Service ist hervorragend und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr höflich und freundlich. Insgesamt 5/5 Sterne.

The lamb dish was absolutely delicious. The food here is excellent and fresh! The price-performance ratio is definitely right. The naan bread with cheese was also delicious.

A truly wonderful Indian restaurant near Scheidenplatz! The atmosphere is warm and inviting; you immediately feel welcome. Even the crisp appetizer with various dips was a great start. I was particularly impressed by the baked cheese served on aromatic, hot fennel – a combination that was authentic, surprising, and absolutely delicious. The service was also very attentive and courteous. The prices are perfectly reasonable for the quality you receive. A definite recommendation if you're in Munich and craving good, authentic Indian cuisine.

We ordered, but unfortunately, the food wasn't what we expected. The sauce was too thin and the naan bread was cold and soggy. What a pity.

After being satisfied with an order at Daawat, we wanted to try the restaurant in person. The staff is friendly and attentive, the prices are moderate. The decor is fine, and the tables are fairly close together. Unfortunately, sitting between the entrance and the kitchen didn't make it all that comfortable – other spots are probably better, but can't be included in this review. But what sets Daawat apart from the various other Indian restaurants in the area? The food, of course! Two things are very noticeably different. 1. The dishes are prepared with significantly less ghee, butter, nut butter, and cream than at other Indian restaurants we know in the area. So, the food is a bit lighter without being any less spicy. We like that. We particularly enjoyed the fish from the tandoor (Machi Tikka) and various vegetarian/vegan dishes. 2. There are a few street food dishes that you can't find everywhere. We haven't tried all of them yet, but it's simply a nice change. We highly recommend a visit, as the food tastes even better when served fresh.

Unfortunately, our visit was a huge disappointment. The food was not good – neither in terms of taste nor quality. When we asked the waiter about it, he simply said "yes," turned around, and walked away. No question, no interest, no apology – we were completely ignored. This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable in the restaurant industry. We felt like they neither care about the satisfaction of their guests nor want to address any criticism. We will definitely not be returning and unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant.

I was looking for authentic Indian food in Munich and came across this restaurant. This restaurant really have authentic Indian food. From starters to Main course to Deserts/ Drinks, veg or non veg. You say it they have it. On top of that their hospitality is great. It brings cherry on top. Good quality at affordable price. Definitely recommended.

We ordered chiken tikka and achari kumbh kebab(mushroom). The taste was okay but the chiken tikka came with just 3 pieces(photo) which was disappointing. We also had the palak soup and veg biryani. Taste was good and quantity was okay. Value for money.

Delicious cuisine, a rather classic menu with many standard dishes, but they are happy to accommodate requests 🌶️🌶️🌶️ The interior is typical of Indian restaurants in Germany, but not uncomfortable. There is also a lunch menu. Tip: The Jeera Aloo (fried potatoes with cumin) is truly delicious!

The mixed starter was pretty bland, a bit spicy in places, but that was it. The vegetarian main course (vegetable balls with cheese in a tomato and almond cream sauce) tasted mostly of coconut milk, which was still tasty but not what I was expecting, and the naan wasn't particularly fluffy. Everything was okay—tasty, but not 4.6 stars for me :)

Unfortunately, my friend was repeatedly harassed by staff member Singh despite repeatedly ignoring him. This happened particularly outrageously after I had just left the restaurant at lunchtime!

I was allround surprised about the quality and the great waiting staff. Excellent prices. I wish I was around in this area more often so I could come visit Daawat more often :D I especially recommend the Butter chicken, it has a special flavor.

A very tasty meal. Plenty of hot rice at the table and delicious Indian spices were well received. I had chicken with champions and very tasty sauce. Friendly waiters asked that everything was ok at the table.

It’s very rare to find such a good indian restaurant with such good prices these days. I can’t speak about the whole menu, as we usually eat Shahi Paneer and Butter chicken/Tikka Masala, but those dishes are very delicious here. The staff is very kind, service is fast and the atmosphere is lovely - you can find a free table last minute.

The food was good overall. The naan bread was tasty, but not the best I've ever eaten. The mango chicken had an intense mango flavor, perhaps a little too strong for my taste, but still good . The butter chicken was excellent and definitely worth recommending. The service was friendly and attentive – overall a pleasant experience!

I find the food there extremely delicious. There are a lot of Indians, but everything tastes really good here. I often pick something up and find the price/performance ratio for Munich to be very good. We have also eaten there several times. It's decorated quite nicely, but I wouldn't go there now because of the furnishings. The service is often just like Indians usually are... anyone who has been to India knows what I mean. But everyone is trying hard and friendly. Can definitely recommend it.
