The best butter chicken in the world!

Jaipur Prime is a traditionally run restaurant. The central element is an open show kitchen, where you can see the chefs in their pots and pans. The service is always very attentive and the spiciness of the food is always well balanced. Everything is prepared fresh and delicious. The portions are big enough to fill you up. Several times during the meal we asked whether everything was OK or whether anything else was needed. If the rice isn't enough, another bowl is quickly served! Food is seasoned perfectly! The prices are very moderate. In my opinion it is always worth a visit. Overall top; any time !

We really enjoyed the food; all the dishes were well-seasoned and the portions were generous. I found the staff attentive. Opinions are divided on the ambiance: My girlfriend found the open show kitchen interesting, but I unfortunately found it much too warm and a bit too loud. It's simply a matter of taste.

First time eating Indian food in my life, I ordered butter chicken. Absolutely delicious, the service was excellent and very hospitable, and the atmosphere was cozy. Great!

The dinner here was excellent and ready very quickly. What stood out most was the friendliness of the staff. That alone makes it worth coming here.

The food was incredibly delicious, but the service and ambiance are a bit of a drawback. Despite our large order, supposed regulars were given priority the whole time and received their food earlier. Even the water arrived earlier at other tables. This shouldn't be allowed! Conclusion: Great food, poor service!

When you enjoy the food at Japur Prime, you'll experience a glimpse into traditional Indian culture, with very fair prices for large portions, and, of course, enjoyment being the top priority. Definitely worth a visit.

Last Friday there with whole family. Very good service. Only food was not that tasty as expected. Beryani was very dry and little. Everything was very little so you were not really full. We did get free Karakchai and Gulabjaman. Service was very good. Only they really need to work on their food. Give more and prepare tasty food.

because of extreme fever i couldn't eat something good in the whole week. Today my husband forced me to visit his most favourite restaurant(Jaipur Prime) in Dusseldorf. After going there, i felt like i have come to visit my relatives. The reason behind this feeling was their behaviour. I couldn’t even imagine i would be treated so well in a restaurant in Germany. I know, they are businessmen but more than that, they are sincere. The quality of the food was very very good. We ordered chola vatura and prawn biriyani. The quantity of prawn biriyani was enough for two persons. The taste of the foods was more than my expectation. I highly recommend this restaurant. All of you guys can have good food, good mood in a good environment of this restaurant.

Disappointed with this restaurant: the chicken tikka masala was bland and tasteless, the cheese naan too fatty, soaked in oil, and the mango juice had a strange taste of yogurt. I don't recommend.

The best indian food I had, I had a Kashmiri Lamb shank extra spicy and it was mindblowing. My wife had goan fishcurry and my daughter had the sikandari lamb and their food was also super!!! I absolutely recommend this restaurant.

Delicious food with authentic flavors. The staff were very friendly and attentive; the chef from Kerala even came over to chat with us personally. Our waiter was extremely accommodating with all our customizations, showing excellent hospitality throughout. We especially enjoyed the lassi, butter roti, and mixed vegetable curry, which were all very well prepared. The mango juice was average, but the upgrade from plain rice to flavorful jeera rice was a nice touch. To top it off, they kindly offered us coffee on the house after the meal. Highly recommended for a warm and satisfying Indian dining experience.

I was really looking forward to trying the snacks here, but sadly, the food fell short. The samosa lacked that signature crispness. The pani puri tasted flat — the pani didn't have that tangy kick you'd expect. As for the masala chai, it was too diluted and didn’t have that rich spice flavor I was hoping for. Overall, the presentation was okay, but the flavors just weren’t there. Hope the team takes this feedback positively and improves the taste and freshness going forward.

I love Indian food and have eaten with various Indians in different cities and countries. In my opinion, the "Jaipur Prime Restaurant" is not really authentic cuisine. For example, the side salad my friend ordered looked like an Italian restaurant. I also found the ambience to be very disappointing. This restaurant didn't seem remotely stylish and cozy, as classic Indian restaurants usually do. A large show kitchen in the middle represents the center. The overall noise level is clearly too high. The furnishings are otherwise very simple. The ambience almost reminded me a little of a better snack bar. Most of the gentlemen who served us did not speak German, but could only communicate (a little) in English. I chose the (vegetarian) dish "Dal Palak", which was supposed to consist of lentils and spinach as well as a special mixture of spices, and wanted a medium-spicy version. My birthday guest ordered "Sikandori Lamb". However, there was no sign of any spinach in my food. It wasn't spicy in the least, so I had to ask for an improvement in this regard. Nevertheless, my dish didn't taste particularly aromatic and was anything but exciting. My companion was relatively satisfied with her dish, but had little experience with traditional Indian cuisine. Otherwise, my masala chai left more than to be desired.

Unfriendly staff, very loud and the food wasn't tasty 60€

Terrible experience. Wanted to pay by card and was repeatedly asked if I could pay with cash. Waiter then tried to charge me a big beer even though I‘ve had a small beer. And on top of it all: The waiter increasing the payment on the machine by more than 5€ and asks me if thats okay. The receipt in the end said „paid by cash“. I‘m happy to give a tip for great service, but being begged into tipping and harassed into cash payment is absolutely unacceptable. Restaurant was also very noisy and poorly ventilated. Will never come again!

The ambience is very nice. The staff is very welcoming. The food is good but not exactly like Indian taste is its not spicy. But you can try this as it’s very close to Indian local taste. I didn’t like the way they prepared the Chicken Tandoori as they mixed with some gravy. Other than that food was good. The cost is average and most of the dishes average is around 12-15. They accept card as well as cash. Overall it good place to enjoy Indian food.

Friday evening in Düsseldorf. 6:30 p.m. and other restaurants are still quite empty. Not here. The rush promises good things. And we weren't disappointed. Great service, very good food, really quick and everyone was very friendly. We were here for the first time and will definitely come back. The only thing that is a bit annoying in retrospect is that the smells of the really delicious cuisine penetrate every fiber of the clothing, pockets and every pore of the body. I would definitely leave my favorite wool sweater at home 🙏 Thank you for this lovely evening.

Absolutely recommended! We arrived 30 minutes before closing time and the staff were already cleaning but still provided us with incredible food. We had lamb curry and butter chicken which was incredibly good. Thanks alot! When we are back in Düsseldorf we will definitely come back.🫶🏼

Restaurant is located centrally snd connected with public transport and nearby paid parking garage is also there. Recommend to book a table for dinner but for we went for weekday lunch and therefore no reservations was needed. Service is good amd staff is polite. One get complementary papadam with chutneys. We ordered vegetarian food mainly Paneer Chilli in starters and Paneer Kadai and Naan in nain course. Curry waa good but I was not very happy with Naan (bread) to my taste and expectations as it was more like big Afghani naan/bread than traditional Indian Naan which is relatively thinner and smaller. Ambience was nice and payment can be done with cash or cards. Overall satisfactory experience.

The food was tasty (although much spicier than ordered). But we sat about 5 meters away from the open kitchen. The whole restaurant was filled with smoke, it was loud, the table for 6 people was small and we had to leave immediately after eating because our eyes and lungs were burning because of the smoke. Here we will only order for delivery at most!

As soon as you walk into this Indian restaurant, you’re greeted by the rich aroma of the tandoor grill, instantly making you even hungrier. The decor and music add to the authentic ambiance, setting high expectations for the food. When the dishes arrived, the presentation was decent, but unfortunately, the flavors didn’t live up to the anticipation. The food lacked depth, with little seasoning inside, which was disappointing. On the positive side, the vegetarian options were plentiful and well thought out. Prices are reasonable, making it an affordable option. However, one downside is their payment policy—they mostly accept cash, and I was specifically asked to pay in cash. Overall, while the atmosphere and variety of dishes are strong points, the food’s flavor could be significantly improved to match the authentic experience they aim to create.

This was our first time at your Indian restaurant and we really enjoyed the food. Everything was delicious and high quality. A small wish: It would be nice if the rice contained lemon peel, as is often the case in other Indian restaurants. This gives the rice a slight lemon note and doesn't just look cooked. The waiter, who also acted as an administrator and seated the guests in the hall, was extremely polite and attentive. We didn't have to wait long for our food and the overall service was of a very high standard. We'll definitely be back.

Very tasty chicken curry with rice. The curry was wonderfully seasoned and the chicken was tender and juicy. The selection of Indian meat and curry dishes is huge, and there are many vegetarian options - although vegan dishes are rather limited. On Sunday evening we easily got a table for 5 people without a reservation. The service was very friendly, even if the employees' knowledge of German was limited. But we were able to communicate easily with English. A small disadvantage: Due to the open kitchen, your clothes take on an intense smell of food after your visit. Conclusion: The food is excellent, but the atmosphere could be a little more cozy.

It’s worth visiting even just for the sauce, the mango sauce is simply gorgeous. The only problem is that the waiter doesn’t know German, after his request to switch to English it turned out that he doesn’t know this language either

We actually happened to pass this restaurant on the way to another restaurant and spontaneously decided to dine here. Our choice was actually an absolute hit. We received our food very quickly and the service was very friendly, courteous and very attentive, including the boss. We all (4 people) enjoyed the meal of Chicken Tikka Massala, Chicken Curry, Tandoori Chicken, Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan. It tasted excellent and couldn't be topped. The highlight, however, was the “mango sauce” as a starter with papadum, we have never eaten it so deliciously!!! We will definitely come back on our next visit to Düsseldorf.

Bombastic food, large portions for a fair price. It is possible to order and share appetizers here like Spanish people do it with Tapas - highly recommended! Great options for vegetarians are provided, too. The food is cooked in front of you (open kitchen), staff is very friendly and customer oriented. An authentic short trip to India!

Recently I got a chance to go to Jaipur restaurant and I enjoyed Indian food very much. The taste of the food is very good and wonderful. I am very impressed that we got to enjoy Indian food even after coming to another country. I was very happy and I wish people that when you come Dusseldorf, eat food in this restaurant Jaipur restaurant.

The place has some authentic Punjabi food. Tasty with good portions. Staff are friendly and prefer speaking English. The only draw back here is that the kitchen is right in the middle of the restaurant which makes the whole place a bit smoky and smells like food. So prepare to take the smell back with you home.

Food is not as per Indian pallet. But, you can definitely enjoy their food if you miss Indian food terribly. The gravies mostly stand on the same spiced tomato onion base so if you know your food, you would find similar taste in the gravies. So, best idea is going for one tomato based and one tandoori for example. Service is excellent. We are always assisted by this very gentle man and that gives a good atmosphere. All your special requests are tried to be met. Efforts are always made.

I have ordered a tikka masala, because it had good reviews on Uber Eats. My meat felt raw and there were absolutely no vegetables in the sauce. I am very disappointed with my order because I have already tried the food in this restaurant and it was much better then on the delivery. I do not recommend to order a tikka masala here.

We came across the restaurant spontaneously and were lucky enough to get a seat. The restaurant was busy and yet everything ran smoothly. The staff was very nice and provided good service. You felt very comfortable in the restaurant and everything was just right. Very authentic atmosphere. It was the best Indian food I have eaten so far. From naan to the main courses, everything was unbeatably good and extremely tasty. There was absolutely nothing to complain about and we will definitely visit the restaurant more often from now on.

I was very disappointed with my visit to Jaipure Prime. The service was simply unacceptable - rude, unprofessional and almost insulting. It felt like we were unwelcome and were literally pushed out of the restaurant. The food didn't save us either: it was anything but authentic and the taste wasn't convincing. Only the ambience was okay, but that alone isn't enough to ignore the rest. Definitely not a recommendation from me!

I tried Butter Chicken and Two Naans(Naan and Garlic Naan). Special Mentions: Chef Sunny you rock. And I was assisted with food serving from Malkit(Malkeet) staff members.
