A reservation is definitely not a disadvantage. But I always got a table. From vegan to almost all types of meat, everything is there. The service is very friendly, no matter how busy it is. Preferences were asked. The portions were enough for two each. Takeaway is possible. A good selection of drinks. Toilets in the basement and can only be reached via stairs. Everything clean. A pleasant meal is most likely. I will be a frequent guest.

We picked up our phone order. All menus were packaged very well for transport and remained hot until consumed. The portions were plentiful and tasty. The service is courteous and the price-performance ratio is good. Gladly again at any time.

The food was actually delicious, the service was really not good at all. If you don't feel like working with people, then you should probably look for another job. I have NEVER felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant because of the staff. Our final order of 2 mango lassi was simply forgotten. We then left after waiting 20 minutes after we paid. Edit: I've been there a few times and it's mixed in terms of friendliness. The older woman with the nice smile always brings me back to the store. She's really great. The food is still top.

A fantastic Indian restaurant with delicious food and excellent service. It is particularly positive that special requests for children are also taken into account. The main courses are served with rice and the delicious Indian flatbread (Bhatura), which rounds off the meal perfectly. The taste is simply great – highly recommended!

The food is really delicious! Unfortunately it's like a dovecote, with no trace of a cozy atmosphere. Far too little space, guests stand in the aisle and at the entrance waiting for a table. Staff is very stressed and serves you in a hurry. It feels like you eat quickly and then please leave straight away! Too bad!

Beautiful good day! I was in your shop on Schuhstrasse in Hildesheim today. I actually come from North Rhine-Westphalia, but am currently here in Lower Saxony on business. The last few days, when I walked past the shop, I kept thinking about whether I should give Indian food another chance, because this culinary cuisine in particular is very difficult to master. It was clearly the right decision to eat here because it was not only the best Indian food I've ever eaten, but generally one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Not only is the music playing softly in the background right, but also the staff who warmly welcome you, advise you and serve you. If I ever go to Hildesheim again, I will definitely come back! One more customer!

I love Indian food! However, the service has deteriorated greatly. The table wasn't wiped down, cutlery didn't come until the food was already on the table, it took a long time for the food to arrive, the friendliness was okay, but the service staff seemed quite stressed and short, even though the restaurant wasn't even really open yet was well attended. It was okay!

We were regular guests for 10 years. Il restaurant, the boss and the older owners were always friendly and personable. Unfortunately the employees are not that friendly. Whether on the phone or on site. It shows you that you are not welcome or that they just want to get their work done quickly. They make the visit so bad that we even consider coming back. How can you answer in such an unsympathetic and sloppy way? So unfortunately no recommendation.

The butter chicken is at the highest culinary level. We have many Indian restaurants throughout the world, our Indan House Hildesheim is one of the very best we have experienced. We would like to thank you for your own hard work. Oh yes, je krijgt naast basmati rice er tevens Bhatura brood bij. The broth is delicious and well served! My wife and I had a delicious meal. Mix grilled and butter chicken. Drink with Lassie mango and coconut. Very good service. Do you come regularly and ask: “Is everything okay”? The butter chicken in particular is of unparalleled culinary quality. We have visited Indian restaurants all over the world, but Indan House Hildesheim is one of the best we have ever experienced. We thanked the owner very much. Oh yes, in addition to basmati rice, there is also Bhatura bread. The bread is so delicious and beautifully served!

Very nice restaurant with delicious food. We are there every year.

It could better be called Indiamirrorhaus because of the many mirrors. Apart from the mirrors, the food is good there. Service is ok, the atmosphere strange due to the decor and the different furniture. The garlic naan was disappointing because it did not come from a tandori oven. A little cleaning of the interior would also be helpful. Dust on the high sofas and spiders crawling behind them. However, this does not detract from the food. Definitely worth a try.

The Indiahaus in Hildesheim is definitely one of my favorite restaurants! I've been there several times and each time I've been amazed by the quality and authenticity of the Indian cuisine. The dishes are always excellently prepared and full of flavor. The butter chicken and the curry chicken are particularly recommended – both are simply delicious. The ambience at Indiahaus is very inviting and cozy, perfect for a relaxed dinner. The staff is always friendly, courteous and makes you feel comfortable. Special requests are also easily fulfilled, which makes the visit even more pleasant.

In my opinion the best Indian restaurant within 100km! And I've eaten at a lot of different Indian restaurants. Service: Very friendly and always very well organized. The food: A culinary treat that has rarely been experienced. Atmosphere: Everything is so beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, you feel very comfortable here.

Today we ate at India House HI with my husband for the first time and it was more than pleasant! We both fasted & placed our order according to the waiting time. The staff overall was extremely friendly and attentive. The manager[?] of the restaurant even went to the trouble of getting different types of dates from outside just to present them to us for breaking the fast! (I have never experienced such a beautiful gesture in any restaurant before) There was a generous fruit plate to tide you over and the dishes were delicious! I would like to thank you very much for the lovely stay. We felt very comfortable.. Clear recommendation!!!

We had a great evening together. The food was super tasty and cooked to perfection. Among other things, we had the super delicious butter chicken and garlic naan bread. Also a super delicious mango lassi. The garlic naan bread could use a little more garlic but otherwise we liked it great. The staff at this family restaurant was totally friendly and helpful with the selection. At the end we were treated to a delicious mango liqueur as a nightcap. We all had a great time, we'll be back. Were there with 9 people and everyone was thrilled. Delicious food made from fresh ingredients with lots of spices. Hot or mild, with or without meat, alcohol or soft drink, coffee or tea? Everyone will find something here. And the price is right too.

The food is very tasty, unfortunately the service is catastrophic. I was there last Sunday and the waitresses constantly ignore you. Unfriendliness is very important. Apart from the fact that we had to wait 10 minutes just for the menu, it was too bad for the waitress not to at least "slam" the drinks on the table. I haven't had such a bad experience in a restaurant for a long time. My tip: waste yours Time and money not there!!!

We were there for the fourth time and the food was again an orgasm for the soul, very nice Jasmin who served us, thank you for that. Unfortunately the rest of the staff were slightly annoyed, which we thought was a shame but half as wild, always happy!

Die Gerichte sind echt lecker 😋 und schön würzig. Der Service zuvorkommend und höflich.

Die Tische werden teilweise erst neu eingedeckt wenn die nächsten Gäste kommen. Die Bedienungen wirkten genervt, speziell wenn man sich in einem fast leeren Lokal (es war allerdings auch keine Hauptzeit zum Essen) nicht an dem zugewiesen Tisch zwischen anderen Gäste setzen wollte, sondern lieber am Fenster Platz nehmen wollte. Die Portionen sind deutlich kleiner geworden und geschmacklich auch nicht mehr so wie früher.

Es war leider total überfüllt/überbucht und dadurch nicht wirklich gemütlich. Das Essen hat im letzten Jahr nachgelassen und ist überteuert.

Zum ersten Mal in meinem Leben habe ich indisches Essen probiert. Ich hatte nicht erwartet, dass mir das Essen schmeckt. Mir gefiel der elegante Service wie in unseren Restaurants in Beirut. Das Essen kam pünktlich. Der Service war super nett. Ich hoffe, es wieder zu besuchen :)

Ich finde das Ambiente zwar sehr schön, aber mir ist es einfach etwas zu dunkel. Deshalb nur 4 Sterne, aber das Essen und der Service sind einfach toll

Das India Haus in Hildesheim ist einfach zu teuer geworden! Bei aller Qualität: dieses Restaurant verliert die Preiskontrolle. Gestartet vor vielen Jahren mit Durchschnittspreisen um 10 €, vor Corona bei 15 €, nach Corona bei 17 €. Jetzt (vor der Mehrwertsteuererhöhung) liegen die Preise bei 20 €. Und das ist völlig überzogen. Auch hier wurde die coronabedingte Mehrwertsteuer-Senkung NICHT weitergegeben. Schauen wir jetzt mal, ob die Anpassung auf 19 % mit einer Erhöhung einhergeht.

Ist nicht so meins. Ich finde, indisches Essen wird auch sehr überbewertet. Ich finde die Konsistenz einfach zu matschig und die Preise viel zu hoch. Auch hinsichtlich der Freundlichkeit des Personals ist Luft nach oben

Wir waren mit Freunden hier das erste Mal essen. Die Gerichte waren sehr schmackhaft. Die (unterschiedlichen) Suppen schmeckten irgendwie gleich (nur mit anderem Topping). Das war etwas komisch. Die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis war okay (etwas gehobener).

A definite Go To restaurant for me whenever I am in Hildesheim.

Wir waren eine größere Gruppe, saßen im Keller und die Service Kräfte hatten alle Hände voll zu tun, denn das Lokal war sehr voll. Die Kellnerinnen waren immer freundlich, sorgten sich um unser Wohl, obwohl eine Essensbestellung untergegangen war brachten sie es ohne mit der Wimper zu zucken. Alles in allem war es ein schöner Abend und ich komme sehr gerne wieder. Das einzige was fehlt sind Parkplätze für laufkranke auswärtige Gäste

Wir waren wieder dort und müssen erneut loben und empfehlen dort essen zu gehen!Aufmerksame freundliche Bedienung, das Essen geschmacklich ausgezeichnet. Es wirkt wenig, ist allerdings mehr als ausreichend. Leider war ein Mal unser Reis kalt, das hatten wir sofort geäußert und ohne Blabla ad hoc eine neue heiße Portion bekommen. Wir waren 2 Personen und haben wie immer lecker gegessen. Es war sehr voll, am Tisch neben uns wurde die Geduld des Mitarbeiters aufs Maximale beansprucht, weil, typisch deutsch, 4 Frauen mittleren Alters die Rechnung in bizarren Teilen zahlen wollten. Bei dem nicht ganz einfach Akt hat der Kellner ein Getränk vergessen und die Empörung war groß! Unfassbar wie kleinkariert manche Menschen sind. Er hat völlig entspannt reagiert, das Getränk ging dann aufs Haus. Mir wurde das falsche Essen gebracht, was aber völlig in Ordnung war, denn ich habe sehr lecker gegessen. Als der Kellner es bemerkte hat er mir mein ursprünglich bestelltes Essen kostenlos einpacken lassen. Ich hatte mich nicht beschwert, er hat das von sich aus getan. Das fand ich großartig! Ein unheimlich entspannter und liebenswerter Mensch der sich an einem Samstag Abend mit vollem Haus nicht aus der Ruhe bringen lassen hat. Und dazu ist das Essen wirklich lecker !

Wir waren heute Mittag im Indiahaus essen. Das Restaurant war gut besucht, die Bedienung hat uns zum vorbestellten Tisch gebracht. Fast alle Gerichte auf der Karte gibt es auch als Mittagsmenü. Die Preise (8,90 - 9,90€) sind recht günstig, wir haben zwei verschiedene Gerichte mit Huhn bestellt. Das Essen kam zügig und die Bedienung war freundlich. Es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt auch die Atmosphäre war prima. Sehr zu empfehlen! 👍🏼

Ich hatte einen wirklich netten Abend, das Essen war sehr lecker und das Ambiente gefiel mir auch. Der Service war durchgehend nett und zuvorkommend. Ist auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen.
