Since the change of ownership, Wiesbaden has had an absolute top Indian! The food is fantastic and the selection is extensive. Very friendly staff and it is a family business. In summer you can sit outside in a lovely spot opposite the Nassauer Hof Hotel and Kurpark. The ambience inside is also very nice. I always recommend ordering the tandoori versions of the dishes. Special grill flavor and the sauces come separately! In the pictures: Tandoori Chicken Achari (Hot). But the spiciness is moderate (6 out of 10 for me). The great thing: you can discuss the spiciness at any time when ordering. This is a top service for me!

The two of us were there recently in the early evening. The restaurant inside is attractive, unfortunately the weather didn't allow sitting outside. The selection on the menu is extensive and we received our food quickly. The food was really good, although I would have liked a touch more intense flavor. But these are nuances, so I can give the food 4 out of 5 stars with a clear conscience. However, there is still some room for improvement when it comes to service. I don't know if you had a bad day, but the waiter didn't seem particularly friendly and relatively listless throughout the entire visit. Questions about a dish weren't really answered, hardly any eye contact was made during the conversation, not to mention a smile. One had the feeling that they simply wanted to "process" us quickly. Which would perhaps be understandable in a stressful phase, but is not really understandable at an early hour with few guests and is really not good advertising. Eating out is less fun if you don't feel welcome. Since the quality of the food is still the priority, I can still give the 4 out of 5 stars as an overall rating.

Best restaurant in Wiesbaden! Traditional Indian cuisine. Very digestible prepared dishes. There is something for every taste, whether you like meat or vegetarian. Real delicacies from the selection of starters to the numerous main courses and dessert. The service is quick and very attentive, no long waiting times. The restaurant is traditionally decorated. The seating is spacious and therefore not crowded like in many other locations. The outdoor area is large and exactly opposite the Nassauer-Hof. Very welcoming. Price-performance is very great. This restaurant is highly recommended!!!!

Unsere Erfahrung hier war leider etwas mau. Dass die drei Saucen zum vorweg aufs Haus gereichten Papadam etwas nach "Fertigprodukt" schmeckten, ist in einem Restaurant dieser Preisklasse verzeihlich. An den darauf folgenden Vorspeisen wäre an sich nichts zu bemängeln gewesen. Vor allem die Pakoras mit einer würzig-scharfen Sauce waren schmackhaft und die Gemüse im Inneren gut gegart. Einzig das Raita bestand eigentlich fast nur aus Joghurt, mit sehr wenig Gemüse, keinerlei Kräutern und einer etwas langweiligen Würzung. Die eigentliche Enttäuschung kam dann aber mit den Hauptgerichten. Das Chicken Kashmiri schmeckte sehr eindimensional und eigentlich fast nur nach Tomate – von Kräutern keine Spur, der Kardamom unterhalb der Wahrnehmungsschwelle. Beides wird in der Karte besonders hervorgehoben. Auch das Chicken Chili Masala kam uns etwas eigenartig vor. Die "spezielle Chili Sauce" war etwas fad, kaum scharf, wie eigentlich angekündigt, vor allem aber nicht durch Schmoren, sondern offensichtlich nur durch den Zusatz von Stärke eingedickt. Die Sauce erinnerte uns eher an chinesische als an indische Küche. Beide Gerichte waren zudem ungewöhnlich süß abgeschmeckt – viel zu süß für unseren Geschmack. Während die Vorspeisen in Anbetracht der Preise schon sehr großzügig portioniert waren, vielen die Haupgerichte dagegen eher klein aus und bestanden vor allem aus wie gesagt eher fragwürdigen Saucen. Positiv viel dabei nur der durftige und körnige Basmati auf. Die Vorspeisen und der wirklich flotte und zuvorkommende Service bewegt sich für uns ganz klar im 4-Sterne-Bereich, die Hauptgerichte erweckten dagegen den Eindruck, als wäre der Koch an dem Tag ausgefallen. Daher insgesamt eher halbherzige 3 Sterne.

Sehr sehr leckeres Essen. Hatten Chicken Korma, Chicken Mango und Chana Masala, wobei das Chicken Korma unser Favorit war. Kann die wenige, sehr negativen Kommentare nicht nachvollziehen.

Sehr schönes Ambiente. Essen ist eine 11 von 10 und viel Auswahl. Service ist nett und aufmerksam. Ab jetzt mein neuer Lieblings Inder in der Umgebung.🤝🏽

This is a great Indian restaurant right at the heart of Wiesbaden and so convenient and easy to get to. Staff in the restaurant are warm and friendly and do everything to make you feel welcome. The food is outstanding and very reasonably priced. Over 3 visits now we have tried a number of nans, curries, tandoori chicken, seekh kebab, as well as vegetable pulses. Really good authentic Indian cooking set in a relaxed convivial atmosphere!

This is the best Indian kitchen in Germany! We always go there on Sundays for lunch. Totally worthwile!

Leider nicht zu empfehlen.. Wir haben früher sehr oft hier gegessen und waren immer sehr zufrieden. Seit dem die Besitzer gewechselt haben können wir dem Restaurant nichts gutes mehr abgewinnen. Wir haben dem Restaurant 3 Chancen gegeben (Januar, Juli, November) und waren jedes Mal auf eine andere Art und Weise enttäuscht. (Service, Qualität, Preis/Leistung) Als ich gestern Abend mein Essen abgeholt habe, gab es nicht mal die obligatorische Vorspeise dazu und die Portion Reis war wirklich ein Witz. Auch das Fleisch war gummig und teilweise (je nach Stück) ungenießbar. Wirklich schade, dass man die tolle Küche nicht fortgeführt hat und weniger Qualität und Quantität für teureres Geld anbietet.

Wir waren unseren 4. Jahrestag feiern. Das Essen war großartig. Alles wird frisch zubereitet und ist wirklich sehr sehr lecker. Es gibt einen sehr prima Vorspeiseteller mit lecker3n Dips. Das Brot ist ebenfalls toll. Wir hatten die mit Knoblauch. Es war traumhaft. Als Hauptspeise hatten wir den GRILLTELLER. Alles war frisch und man schmeckte die Gewürze richtig gut raus. Hmm welch ein Gaumenschmauß! Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und herzlich. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Die Kellner sehr engagiert und freundlich, so wie man es sich wünscht. Es war ein überaus schöner Abend. Vielen Dank für alles und bis sicherlich in Kürze!

Sehr gute authentische indische Küche. Jedes Gericht hat sein Geschmack, Qualität und frische kommen auch noch dazu. Als Gast fühlt man sich sehr wohl, man nimmt sich Zeit und geht auf Wünsche ein. Super nette und freundliche Chefin. Immerwieder gern.

Wirklich sehr gute indische Küche, geschmackvoll und reich an Aromen. Die Gerichte werden dem gewünschten Schärfegrad angepasst. Da alles frisch zubereitet wird, muss etwas Wartezeit in Kauf genommen werden, aber es lohnt sich definitiv. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist o.k. Sehr freundliches Personal mit guter Beratung. So good I forgot to take a picture. Ordered pickup for 8 and everything was as ordered and carefully packed in foil pans and paper bags with handles, not styrofoam and plastic. Even helped me to the car. This is Indian food the way Americans like it. Best we have had in Wiesbaden. Will be back to dine in. Order extra for leftovers 😁

Gutes, angenehm und interessant gewürztes Essen, sehr gute Auswahl, zuvorkommender Service, tolles gepflegtes Ambiente, und, naja vielleicht nebensächlich, zu den schönen Stühlen würde vielleicht ein Sitzkissen noch ein bisschen Sitzkomfort bringen.

Wir waren das erste Mal zu viert in dem indischen Restaurant. Essen war super. Gestartet sind wir für den ersten Hunger mit dem Vorspeisenmix für 2 Personen und vier Teller. Anschließen hatten wir alle ein anderes Hauptgericht. Die Essen kamen alle gleichzeitig. Hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt. Zur Abrundung hatte wir noch die indische Eisspezialität und die Mango Creme. Gerade auch in der Kombination empfehlenswert. Der Service war sehr nett und humorvoll. Wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Beleuchtung war für einen gemütlichen Abend für meine Begriffe zu hell. Deshalb kleinen Punkt Zug beim Ambiente. Ist aber Geschmackssache und hat dem schönen Abend nicht wirklich beeinträchtigt. In jedem Fall aus meiner Sicht sehr empfehlenswert.

Ich war auf Dienstreise in Wiesbaden und bin spontan ins Restaurant, um mir etwas zum Essen mitzunehmen, weil ich nicht alleine im Restaurant essen wollte. Was in einem anderen Restaurant ein Problem war, war es hier nicht. Super freundlich wurde meine Bestellung aufgenommen und mir für die Wartezeit ein Getränk angeboten. Das Restaurant war eine gute Entscheidung, das Essen war sehr lecker und mehr als ausreichend! Vielen Dank. Werde beim nächsten Aufenthalt gerne wieder vorbeischauen!

Wir haben zu viert mehrere Vor- & Hauptspeisen (zum Teilen) bestellt und waren von jeder einzelnen Speise begeistert. Für meinen Teil habe ich dort das beste Papadam gegessen, was mir bisher serviert wurde. Auch das Enten-Curry mit Okraschoten war ausgezeichnet. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen!

In diesen Räumlichkeiten in der Innenstadt gab es jahrzehntelang auch einen Inder. Das Sonny´s hat das Restaurant total aufgefrischt. Auch personell hat sich einiges geändert. So wollen wir das "neue" indische Restaurant ausprobieren. Die Speisekarte bietet für jeden etwas an, ob vegan, vegetarisch, Tandoori, authentisch scharf. Wir haben das Gefühl nicht beachtet zu werden, denn es dauert ziemlich lang bis unsere Bestellung aufgenommen wird. Die Gerichte werden frisch zubereitet. Daher dauert es auch bis das Essen serviert wird. Es schmeckt uns allen! Auf diesem Platz gibt es Sushi, Asian Fusion Food und Libanesische Küche. Draußen gibt es schöne Sitzplätze.

Zeer goed indiaas restaurant met veel gerechten van mild tot heet. Leuk personeel dat alles voor je doet. Prijzen zijn laag voor deze kwaliteit.
