Super friendly service, if you don't know anything about Indian food, you get first-class advice and you take your time with it. The food was excellent and really highly recommended.

We came here for dinner while visiting my family in Germany. We’ve eaten here before and always loved the food. The service is great. The food was delicious. I tried their ‘Butter Lamb’ which was delicious and very flavorful. I had their ‘Mango Lasi’ as a drink, it was light and refreshing. It’s perfect as a dessert. Everyone loves what they ate! A real gem! Authentic Indian flavors, perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. The butter paneer was heavenly and the naan was fresh and fluffy. The service was warm and attentive. A must for fans of Indian cuisine!

Not bad in itself. Unfortunately, the ambience isn't that great, the waiting time until we could order drinks was long, the food took what felt like an eternity and the presentation, at least for some of the dishes, was rather, well, so-so. The taste was ok. But, the eye eats too.

Yesterday we had another wonderful evening at the Taj Tandoori. It started with a very friendly greeting from the boss and his son. The Indian-Pakistani dishes, drinks and cocktails tasted fantastic. The atmosphere is very cozy and there was a very nice, good-humoured atmosphere between guests and staff. What was also special was that the noise level in the restaurant was very pleasant, even though all the seats were occupied by guests. A really lovely evening at Taj Tandoori. Thanks!

After a long time we were once again in the former TVB. The house's Italian cuisine is a thing of the past, but the Indian cuisine is worth a visit. My chicken curry was well spicy and very tasty. The biryani chicken is also recommended. The vegetable balls were also delicious. The service is good and attentive. We'll be back.

We once had Naan Garlic which was incredibly tasty, and for the main course we had Mefhi prawns and Tikke Masala lamb! Everything had been soooo op! Absolutely world-changingly delicious

Seen from the outside it is rather inconspicuous and unfortunately the ambience doesn't quite fit. Nevertheless, I have been here many times and have always been impressed. Very nice, attentive service, you just feel like you're in good hands. Very tasty prepared Indian food, full of authentic Indian flavors. Sharpness is perfect for me. Food always came to the table hot and promptly. The portions are sufficient and the price-performance ratio is right. Definitely a clear recommendation from me!

Very dear owners and staff. We made reservations for 5 and 6 came. The table was too small for us and even though the restaurant was fully reserved, they tried very hard to get us a larger table. The food is delicious. Price is reasonable. 05/07/24 Today I went for lunch and it is highly recommended. The menu costs €12.50 and is available from 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Delicious!

If a friend hadn't pointed this restaurant out to me, I would have walked past it without knowing because it's next to the gym. I am positively surprised. When you eat it you feel like you are taking a trip to India - it tastes very good. The staff is friendly and you feel comfortable. Prices are okay too. We will go there more often now.

I find it welcome that the Taj Tandoori now only serves authentic Indian dishes 👍 However, I will miss the excellent pizzas (thin dough, lavish toppings) as well as the first-class meat dishes (e.g. mushroom cream schnitzel 😌) that are available in the there was an initial time in tt. I really hope that 'Indian Summer' (mixed salad, fried vegetables, chicken strips) will be available again in the warmer season, because the dish was one of my top three favorites. I was at TT today with a friend and, as usual, we were warmly welcomed. The food was a taste experience 👍😋 The high-quality food was by no means masked by a pleasant spiciness and cleverly used spices. A real treat with an absolutely harmonious price-performance ratio. I'm already looking forward to the next culinary visit to the Taj Tandoori!

Neben dem Turnverein Biebrich befindet sich dieses Indische Restaurant. Jahrelang war es ein Italienisches Lokal namens "Ristorante Turnhalle" welches von Indern betrieben wurde. Jetzt werden hier nur indische Gerichte zubereitet und der Name wurde geändert. An einem Samstagabend wagen wir einen Versuch und werden sehr freundlich empfangen. Auf der Speisekarte sind keine Pizzen gelistet sondern richtig authentische indische Speisen die gut schmecken. Meiner Ansicht nach könnte man sich sogar mehr trauen und mehr würzen. Es gibt einen schönen Innenhof wo man an warmen Tagen sitzen kann. Wir wünschen den Wirtsleuten viel Erfolg und freuen uns auf ein nächstes Mal.

Wir waren mit dem gutscheinbuch dort und es wird nicht das letzte mal gewesen sein ! Außergewöhnlich freundlicher Service und sehr leckeres indisches Essen mit großen Portionen !

Oh, was war dieser Besuch schön und lecker. Umfangreiche Speisekarte, für alle was dabei, frische Zubereitung, freundlicher Service und moderate Preise. Da passt alles. Wir hatten Samosas, Gemüsebällchen, Spinat und Reis und Chicken Tandoori. Lecker. Und das Lassi dazu frisch hergestellt.

Bisher habe ich Essen nur zum liefern bestellt. Und die Indischen Gerichte sind sehr geschmackvoll. Die Küche versteht ihr Handwerk und macht Lust mehr zu entdecken. Danke für den Service, immer wieder gerne. Wir kommen mal persönlich vorbei. Deswegen bleibt das Ambiente frei.

Sehr netter und zuvorkommender Sevice. Sensationell. Auch das Essen, sehr schmackhaft und auch viel. Das Lamm perfekt, die Vorspeisen super. Ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen.

I walked in, got a table for one right away. The menu had a huge choice in vegetarian / vegan dishes ( one of the reasons I love Indian restaurants) I ordered fried eggplant and potatoes with rice ( aloo bangen) and it was so good I could eat it for ever. The service was fast and friendly. I'm here for work this whole weekend so I might just go back tomorrow and try something else. I highly recomend this small but amazing restaurant.

Das Taj Tandoori wird von einer indischen Familie geführt und ist ein Gewinn für Biebrich und Wiesbaden. Schon wenn man sich dem Restaurant nähert, riecht man die tolle Vielfalt der Aromen, mit denen die Speisen zubereitet werden. Die Speisen sind allesamt extrem lecker und die Küche auf einem sehr hohen Niveau. Als Liebhaber der indischen Küche bin ich vollauf zufrieden. Wir haben dort diverse Gerichte mit Huhn, mit Fisch, mit Fleisch, vegetarisch gegessen – alles großartig. Der Service ist hervorragend und jeder Kunde wird freundlich empfangen. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Der Inhaber berät jeden bei der Auswahl der Speisen, denn man kann sich selbstverständlich auch den Schärfegrad aussuchen, was eben auch ein Zeichen von Qualität ist. Das Restaurant hat einen schönen Garten für den Sommer und innen ein gemütliches Restaurant. Wir sind Stammgäste im Taj Tandoori und einfach begeistert.

Im Sommer draußen, sehr netter Bedienung, auf Wunsch sehr scharf… also Vorsicht!!! Besser sagen, wenn man es nicht so scharf wünscht.

Ich dachte ich kenne Biebrich, doch noch etwas entdeckt über den Schlemmerblock. Sehr leckeres Mango Chicken Curry genossen (im Moment ist leider Wespenzeit). Mein Mann hatte ein Lamm Tandoori und meine Tochter ein vegetarisches Curry. Wirklich angenehm überrascht. Ein Mann mit Turban hat uns sehr unaufdringlich und sachlich bedient. Der Biergarten war gut besucht. Werde nochmal mit meinen Biebricher Freundinnen vorbei kommen. War genau mein Geschmack und preislich wirklich fair.

Sehr sehr leckeres indisches Essen, und auch sehr gute Pizza! Das Personal ist sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Mittlerweile werden wir im Restaurant erkannt und nett begrüßt und haben schon mehrmals beim Essen abholen Getränke aufs Haus bekommen. Im Sommer kann man schön im Biergarten sitzen.
